"soobae, you're so silly." jeno tried to joke, his boss's left arm thrown over his shoulder as yisu held the right. soojin cooed, her head dropping onto the new girl before suddenly gasping.

"oh my god, you're a fairy!" yisu's cheeks flushed almost as pink as her puffy dress. she'd gotten it last minute at a thrift shop and felt embarrassed after seeing such elegant women in beautiful designer gowns. "i-i'm not..." she stammered awkwardly.

drunk soojin was having none of that, however, and began playing with the baby pink ruffles on her new intern's sleeves. "hmm, definitely a fairy. ooh! a fairy princess!"

they were able to find kun and get the two a cab to the hotel, utterly disgusted when their boss and her husband began rubbing noses with lipless kisses.

"i'm sorry about that," jeno quickly apologized once they were alone. he'd lost the jacket part of his tux when helping soojin.

yisu shook her head, stray strands of curled black hair flying from her now mess of a bun. "no, it's okay! actually, this was probably the most exciting night of my life."

remaining silent, jeno only nodded. a few moments later, he offered her his hand. yisu looked at it, confused, and jeno smiled. "come on, we've got all night and a room full of liquor and music."

the girl hesitantly took his hand. "didn't you mention that you don't drink?"

"i don't." he quickly confirmed with a thoughtful nod. "but they have some pretty fancy fruit punch. non-alcoholic, of course."

yisu nodded slowly. "okay... but i can't handle liquor. a-and i start work tomorrow, and—" she cut herself off by flinching, the sound of booming music startling her.

"it'll be fine!" jeno yelled over a k-pop song, and yisu allowed herself to be swayed by the beat flooding her system and shaking her bones.

someone came around with a tray of pretty champagne floats. maybe one wouldn't hurt...
