Me, Dally, Kara, and Tyler went out of lunch to talk, bond, and figure out things with our band, at least we say it's a band.

Kara used her straw to swirl around the ice in her glass filled with cherry coke, "I mean we don't have a base guitarist, maybe we could get someone for that? I'd be helpful so we more open space for tunes?" She suggested.

"She's not wrong, if anything she's correct, by a lot." Dallas spoke, he leaned back into his chair, with his arms crossed.

Tyler stayed silent, nodding in agreement.

I sighed, "I know someone but, they may or may not hate me because of me and, Charlie's break up." Kara gave a look, one of those 'are you kidding me?' Looks.

Dallas spoke up, "That'll be fun." He chuckled.

"It's our best shot actually." I stated, "plus he's pretty fucking good." I added.

"Who is this someone exactly?" Dallas asked.

"Mason." I admitted.

"Isn't he like Charlie's best friend or something?" Tyler asked.

"I think? I can't recall, but the point is he's good, if we could get him on then we'd have our bass guitarist." I pointed out.

"It's worth a shot." Kara spoke.

Dally drove me home, we mainly just talked about how single he was, and I laughed a lot, because that's what friends are for!

Once we got to my apartment complex, we said our goodbyes and he drove off.

Now the thing with apartments is the fact that I need two keys, for the outside door and the door to my apartment, and I mix them up all the time, which is the most annoying thing ever.

I walked up the steps of the apartment building to the second floor, once I got to my door I put the key in the lock and opened the door, it was quiet, which was a little strange considering the fact usually Alex is home watching a movie or doing something while listening to music, not that I'm complaining.

I sat my bag down and took my shoes off, then hung my keys on the hook next to the door, "Alex?" I asked, no response, I walked into the kitchen.

'He's probably just went out' I thought.

I pulled out my phone and saw I had two text from him, and Charlie?! I frowned, it must've been the wrong number, I told myself, we broke up almost a year ago, I could've sworn he'd deleted my number, since well, they way I broke up with him was kinda shitty.

I ignored Charlies text, and opened Alex's, my face lit up immediately, 'I'll be back soon, I just ran out to pick something up!' I read the text, and a smile appeared on my face, he's truly a sweetheart.

I sat down on the couch, and I debated if I should try to text Mason or not.

TRIXIE YAPS! - Once more kinda a short chapter guys, but why did Charlie text Bea????? I love reading your comments at the end of the day! It's gives me the motivation to continue writing! <3333
