After the week of suspension Tai was back in school. He was currently heading to his and Angel's apartment walking down the sidewalk. He was listen to music on his earphones and failed to notice his sister walking towards him. Kari tapped him on his shoulder, Tai looked up and smiled as he saw his sister and took off his earphones and gave her a hug.

"Hey Kari, how's it been?"

"Not so good"

She admitted quietly once they pulled away.

"Can we talk at the park?"

Tai smiled.

"Sure"

Together they headed to the park, they sat on the swings swaying themselves on the swing gently.

"We don't talk as we used to"

Kari said lowly. Tai half smiled at her.

"Hey, come on we talk not too long ago and we had lost track of time"

Tai chuckled at the memory.

"Boy was Angel pissed"

He said to himself.

"But its not the same"

Kari said sadly. Tai remained quiet for a moment and let out a sigh.

"What did you want to talk about?"

"I want my old brother back"

She said determindley. Tai looked to Kari in surprise and smiled as he shook his head.

"Kari you don't get it, this is me"

"No its not, my brother would never turn his back on his friends. He would never show disrespect, he would never use profanity, he would never get suspended"

She said her voice cracking just a bit but she remained strong. Tai shook his head as he got up from the swing and made his way to use the public restroom, Kari stayed waiting. Once he came out he rolled his eyes as Kari continued to lecture him.

"I don't know what's going on in that head of yours Tai, but this is not you"

Tai walked up to Kari until she had her back against the wall and punch the wall right beside her head scaring her. Tai smirk as he saw the fear in his little sister's eyes.

"Oh but you know something dear sister, this is the real me"

"You just threaten me right now"

She said fearfully.

"Well then maybe you need a wake up call"

He said as he moved away from her and turned around.

"I'm scared of what you have become, is it all because of Angel because she's bad you became bad to get into bed with her"

Tai froze and turn back to face Kari.

"Angel is a good girl, you just don't know her like I do and don't talk about her like that"

"Then talk to me Tai, I want to help you. Mom cries everyday worried about you. She is sick right now"

"And let me guess its my fault right?  Who ever gets sick is my fault? Who ever dies is my fault? Am I right?"

Tai said angrily. Kari was trembling.

"What is this really about?"

She asked. Tai glared at her and turned away.

"You know something Kari, I think its best you keep your distance away from me, because whatever happens I'll get the blame no matter what, I'm trying to deal with my issue"

"No you need help, I can help you just talk to me"

"You are the problem, don't you see that? "

He asked. Kari was about to respond but a honk of a car cut her off. Tai and Kari looked to see someone waving towards them.

"Tai come on let's go!!"

James called. Tai smirk at them and looked to Kari.

"You can walk your self home right?"

He said not really bother on waiting for an answer he ran towards the red car and got into the passenger seat. Kari let out a sigh as she wiped away a few tears that trailed down her face as she walked away defeated.

'I have no other choice, I need to talk to Angel only she can help him'

She thought.

*With Tai*

"Where are we headed?"

Tai asked.

"To the tattoo shop"

Cleo said.

"For what? "

"For you of course"

Angel answered. Tai froze he never once thought about getting a tatto or even being in a gang.

"You are to have the symbol of our gang piecered on your skin"

James answered keeping his eyes on the road.

"And you can get yourself another tattoo if your interested"

Riki said. Tai remained in thought.

"Um will it hurt? "

"Of course it hurts, that's why we are gonna get you buzzed first"

Mark said as he handed Tai a beer bottle. Tai let out a sigh as he continued to drink, after a few bottles Tai was already buzzed but still alert.

"Where do you guys have your tattoos?"

"I have mine on the shoulder"

Mark answered.

"On my hip"

Angel said.

"Wrist"

Riki said.

"Ankle"

Cleo said

"Chest"

James said. Tai thought for a moment but all too soon they arrived to the tattoo parlor. Tai sat on the seat.

"So where would you want it to be?"

The artist asked and as it turns out the tattoo artist was also part of the gang, he had the same symbol of the gang.

"I'll have it on my arm"

"Excellent choice"

Angel sat beside Tai with a smile.

"How does it feel?"

"I feel numb"

He said with a slight chuckle trying not to move.

"The beer is working"

Angel said, she wanted to kiss him but knew she couldn't in front of the artist because he would probably snitched on her. After about an hour, Tai was done. He looked in the mirror and was surprise of the symbol.

"So being part of the gang means you get a free tattoo no charge"

The artist said. The others look to Tai waiting for an answer. Tai smirk.

"Yeah can you do me one on my back?"

"What would you like?"

Tai removed a necklace that was hidden under his shirt to show a crest with a symbol. The artist nodded and got too work on Tai's back as he laid flat on his stomach. Once he was done the artist was impress with himself.

"I never saw anything like it, it looks good on you"

Tai kept his shirt off as his gang looked at his back.

"What does it symbolize?"

Angel asked. Tai smiled at her.

"Courage"

He answered.
