Angel let out a bored sigh as they finally released her. She made her way back home to her apartment and was about to pay the months of rent she was behind to the manager but the manager said her boyfriend was paying for the rent. Angel frown for a moment and gently smiled.

'Tai'

She thought. She opened the door to her apartment and saw someone sitting on her couch.

"Tai"

Angel said quietly. Tai smiled as he stood up and walked up to her.

"You should have called, I could have pick you up"

"No thanks just wanted to walk"

She said as she made her way to the kitchen to get a drink and was surprise to see fresh new food of everything. Angel closed the refridgerator door and looked to Tai who was standing right beside her with a big smile. Angel frown.

"What's up with you?"

"Well for starters you didn't give me a hug"

Angel rolled her eyes and gave him a hug wrapping her arms around his waist. Tai smiled and wrapped his arms around her back holding her tight.

"You know, I honestly thought you would already be gone back to that red head of yours"

She said quietly. Tai chuckled.

"Of course not. I love you too much. Come on let's sit and talk on the couch."

He said as he pulled away slightly and grabbed her hand with his as they made their way to the couch. Tai still had his hand linked with Angel and had one arm around her.

"I honestly thought I was gonna die that day"

Angel frown as she looked up at him.

"Shut up, if you wanted to die that much, I'll kill you myself but until that day you're gonna live"

Tai chuckled as he nuzzled up close to her.

"Were you afraid inside the jail cell?"

He asked. Angel just shrugged.

"Everything I was afraid of already happened to me, I'm not scared of nothing"

"Weren't you afraid of losing me?"

"I can lose fucking every thing but not you. Oh God not you"

She said looking up at him. Tai smiled as he leaned down and captured Angel's lips into a passionate kiss that could fully take her breathe away. After a while, once Tai pulled away Angel was panting hard. She stared up at him with a glare, Tai frown.

"What's with the look?"

He asked.

"I'm gonna have to really kill you now"

"Why?"

"Because I'm falling in love with you, all over again"

Tai smiled as he pressed his nose against hers.

"You know something"

Tai asked.

"What?"

"Loving you its either pleasure or a pain to my heart"

Angel smiled and leaned down until her head was laying on his chest.

"So I see you kept yourself busy here"

"Yeah just wanted to make sure nothing gets spoiled"

"Thanks. And what have you been doing?"

"I reconnected with my friends"

"Oh that's good"

"Yeah and Mark called me saying him and Riki are going to stay low key for now"

"That's good too"

Tai smiled at Angel and was about to ask her a question but was interrupted as the front door slammed open. Tai and Angel quickly turned around and was surprise to see Cleo and James. Angel angrily stood and walk up to Cleo.

"Where the fuck were you two?"

She asked angrily

"We went into hiding"

James answered.

"You bailed on us"

"What, Tai quited the gang"

Cleo said confused.

"You bailed on me, Riki and Mark"

"Then you guys should have ran and left him"

James said rolling his eyes. Angel crossed her arms over her chest and glared to the side. Tai calmly walked up to them.

"Look I'm not blaming anyone okay. So let's all calm down. What's done is done"

James, Cleo and Angel nodded. Cleo embraced Angel hard but Angel didn't return the hug.

"We tried contacting Riki and Mark, but their not answering their phones"

James said.

"They are keeping low file right now"

Tai answered. James and Cleo nodded.

"How are you feeling Tai?"

Cleo asked.

"I had better days"

Tai said with a grin.

"Okay, we just wanted to check up on you guys. Call or text if you need us"

Cleo said as she and James made their way out of the apartment. Angel let out a sigh as she went back to the couch. Tai followed her and sat down beside her. After a moment of silence, Tai spoke.

"Angel I was thinking if you could meet my family"

"I already know your family"

"No I mean like start over"

"What are you saying exactly?"

She asked with a raised eyebrow. Tai smiled.

"Look I don't want to put pressure on you, but you've change you may not see it now but everyone else can"

"And who's everyone?"

She asked. Tai smiled sheepishly and pointed to himself.

"Me"

Angel raised an eye brow.

"I change?"

"Yeah and I want you to offcially meet my family properly."

"You mean to apologize?"

"Will that be too much?"

He asked nervously. Angel thought about it and looked to Tai.

"Just give me some time okay and eventually I will come around and apologize"

"I know. Rome wasn't built in a day"

"Good"

"Great and maybe this could be the start we have in our relationship to apologize and make everything right. Wouldn't you like that?"

"Are you referring to me quitting on the gang?"

She asked.

"What do you think?"

"Tai I can't you know that, the gang is like my family. Let's take one step at a time, let's not rush this"

"Okay"

Tai gave her a light kiss on the lips.

"You know something"

Angel said.

"What?"

Tai asked.

"You really do have a lot of courage. Its like if it was really meant for you. After everything you have been through you had a lot of courage, you faced Aaron head on, you stayed strong in the hospital and even when I was in jail and plus it takes great courage to set aside pride and apologize"

Tai smiled.

"So do you"

"How?"

"You been through everything with me, so that's means you have courage too"

Tai said as he gave her another gentle kiss.
