Tai was pacing back and forth as he held his 3 month old son on his arm at the same time holding the phone to his ear.

"How...how can you be that stupid?"

He said in disappointment.

"Hey! It wasn't my fucking fault"

Angel yelled back on the other side of the phone.

"All I told you was to get a job"

"And I did! How was I suppose to know they'll still have my face plastered on their wall since the robbery?"

"Of all places you could have gone, you went to the store where you robbed them at gun point"

"Well I learn my lesson"

"Lesson? You're in jail, Angel! And I'm here taking care of our son!"

A moment of silence pass between them as Tai took a few deep breathe to calm down.

"I'm sorry, I'm just frustrated"

He said quietly.

"I'm sorry too. For messing this up for us, we had a perfect life to together and I fucked up....again"

"No no, it's just sometimes the past comes to hunt us to try to fix our wrongs"

"How are the girls?"

Angel asked curiously.

"Well I got another call from the principal"

"Again?"

"I lost count of how many times we been to that office"

"They sure didn't get it from me"

Tai raised an eyebrow with an annoyed look.

"Really?"

He said.

"Anyways, I got good news. In three months I will be out and sooner if I'm in good behavior"

She said happily.

"That's great babe. I have to go. I'll tell the girls you called, I'm getting ready to head to the school"

"Okay. I love you"

"I love you too"

He said as he hanged up. Tai let out a sigh as he looked down at his son as he was sleeping.

*Principal's Office*

"Sorry I'm late Mr. Lee I had to drop my son off at my mother's house"

Tai said immediately as he entered the office and made his way to the chair to sit beside his triplets that were slouching on the seat.

"Mr. Kamiya the reason I brought you in this time is because we found Clover ditching, Akiza was disrespecting the teacher and Talia was fighting with her classmates."

The principal explain. Tai let out a disappointed sigh as he looked to his daughters.

"Do you girls have anything to say about your behavior? What would your mother say if she was right here?"

Tai said. Talia scoffs.

"She would be mad that we got caught"

Tai immediately sweat drop as he knew that's exactly something that Angel would say and looked to the Principal sheepishly.

"Sir, I promise nothing like this will happen again"

"That's just it, Mr. Kamiya it's been happening since Kindergarten. They are barely now in 1st grade and their behavior haven't change."

He said as he pressed a button on his desk to contact his secretary.

"Bring in Ms. Madrid"

He said simply as he leaned back and waited as the teacher came in. Tai frown slightly.

"What's their Kindergarten teacher doing here?"

"I have been trying to reach you but your wife would cuss me out and hang up on my face. I been meaning to tell you that my students respects me but everytime when your girls come in all their respect for me goes out the window"

Ms. Madrid explain.

"And your telling me this a year later?"

"Like I said your wife wouldn't let me reach you"

Tai looked to his daughters.

"Did any of you know about this?"

"Yeah"

Clover responded.

"And did you ever think to tell me about it?"

"Not unless it was urgent"

Akiza said.

"Because you said if it bother us then to come talk to you but it never bothered us"

Talia said. Tai bite the inside of his cheek as he looked to the teacher and principal.

"What do we do from here?"

He asked.

"They will be suspended for a week"

He answered as he wrote down a note and handed the paper to Tai.

"Thank you"

Tai said quietly as he gathered his girl's backpack as they walked out of the office. The ride home was quiet as well as dinner time. Nobody said anything as they ate their pizza and Tai was feeding his son.

"Dad?"

Clover said quietly. Tai looked at her as he waited for her to continue.

"Are you mad?"

"Honestly yes I am"

He said causing Clover, Akiza and Talia to put their heads down in shame.

"I'm mad. Mad at the fact the Principal has the nerves to complain as well as your teacher when your grades are great"

He said proudly causing the girl's to lift their head in surprise at their father's response.

"You really mean it Dad?"

Talia asked in surprise.

"Of course sweetheart, grades is one thing and behavior is another"

"I was certain we will be grounded"

Clover said in relief.

"Oh you are. You girls aren't off the hook"

"What?!"

Akiza yelled in shock.

"Since I got lectured by the principal and the teacher, I think you girls deserve a punishment and that means no phone for a week, no going to the digital world for a week and I expect all chores to be done before dinner time"

Tai said as he lift the baby over his shoulder and pat him on the back until he burps.

"That's not fair!"

Talia yelled.

"Life isn't fair"

Tai retorted as he stood up to take the baby to the room. Akiza, Talia and Clover looked to each other as their father left the room.

"I'm surprise Ms. Madrid spoke up after a whole year"

Talia said in surprise.

"Probably because she found out Mom is in jail"

Clover said with a laugh.

"That was the only reason she was holding back because of Mom"

Akiza said with a giggle but soon quieted down as their father enter the room.

"Okay girls time for a bath and then get ready for bed"

"But Dad we're suspended remember"

Clover said.

"Yeah, meaning vacation time"

Talia said.

"No remember our deal, I want chores done before dinner time"

"Ugh!!!"

Akiza, Talia and Clover exclaim causing Tai to chuckle.
