End Of It

Yes there is a reason for the late update. I wanted this one and the next one to go together because I really really like the next chapter and I have been dying to write it since I thought of it.  ̶A̶l̶s̶o̶ ̶I̶'̶m̶ ̶r̶e̶a̶l̶l̶y̶ ̶b̶a̶d̶ ̶a̶t̶ ̶w̶r̶i̶t̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶f̶i̶g̶h̶t̶ ̶s̶c̶e̶n̶e̶s̶ ̶s̶o̶ ̶s̶t̶o̶p̶ ̶j̶u̶d̶g̶i̶n̶g̶-

No One's POV:

The day did not turn out in Error and Honey's favor at first. Even with the God of Destruction's incredible ability to defend and deflect and the swapped Papyrus' dodging skills, they were still most definitely out numbered. Things were quickly getting out of hand for Error and Honey. After about five minutes, Honey took a major hit on his arm. The glitching skeleton was swift to defend Honey, even throwing himself in front of him to ward off blows and magical attacks. Error took a few hits in the process, although it didn't affect him as much as it did his new ally.

Error soon got close enough to Honey, while still defending them both, to tell him the plan of action.

"I̡͝'̨͡ĺ͠l b̨u̢y͠ ̧̀us̸ ̷͢͡s҉̕o̢͟͜m͡e ̶̧̢tim̨͜e,͢ ̴͡y͝o͘u̴ ̶g̴̷e̛͡t͠ B͞l͡u̷e͏̶͟.̛͟"̀͝ Error ordered him as he dodged fourteen different color covered bones, two Gaster Blaster Blasts, and some purple ink while using his strings to move Honey out of the way of the attack as well.

"Alrighty," Honey sent a few more bone attacks out. "Now?"

"It̀͢'̵̕͡s͜ ͠n͠o̵̢͜w҉ o̵r͘ ͡ne̢vè̴r.̕"̀ Error readied himself and jumped high into the air with the help of his magical threads. Most of his assailants followed suit and joined him in the air using their wings or magic or whatever they had to reach his height. Not many remained with Honey. He was not their main focus. Error focused his stings to hold them in place for a few seconds. Honey took this chance to short cut to his unguarded brother and scoop him up gently with one arm. He fled back to where he and Error standing before.

As if on queue, each wrapped skeleton broke free from their cocoon prisons and began to fall or drift slowly to the ground. But unfortunately for them, another few players entered the battle zone.

"Did we miss the party?" Nightmare sneered as he and the rest of them leaped out of the portal. Many attackers paused and faltered as they saw them.

"Where the fuck is the cake?" Dust was soon smacked on the back of his skull with one of Nightmare's tentacles.

"There's no cake you fucking idiot." He groaned, already annoyed with the crack member of his Gang. His tentacle returned to him, only to sharpen moments later over him.

A few of the surrounding assailants snickered at them and only stopped when the rest glared or scowled at the amused few, successfully shutting them up.

"The only party we're going to have is the one where each of you no longer exist." Ink spat out the words like fire. A few of the people surrounding him looked shocked by his words. Not everyone wished death upon them; they'd rather persuade them to be better skeletons and change their ways. But of course many were not even at the meeting to see Blue's first appearance as a traitor. Unfortunately everyone else was either fine with eliminating them or was too far out of earshot to hear the threat. Dream was one of the few to want to teach them to become better. He wanted his old brother back.

Horror swung his favorite axe around a few time out of boredom. As he did, the non-existent glow of the unfinished and empty AU shone off how really sharp the axe really was. "You may have to reschedule then." His blood red eyelight locked with a few others from the opposing side, making them shudder as they looked away from it. "We most certainly don't plan on dusting anytime soon."

"Unless you steal my fucking chocolate again. Then I'll fucking dust you myself, Horror." Cross flashed his overly large, glowing red knife threateningly to the skeleton missing a chunk of his skull.

All the while they were bickering, Dust took this chance to slip away from his Gang. Honey and Blue slowly moved away from the middle as well, the scene being pretty distracting and even entertaining to some. Outer guided them to a portal that mostly everyone was faced away from, not yet discovering their disappearance. Dust gestured his arms out to take the injured and tied up Blue from the swapped brother. Honey glanced down hesitantly, only to receive a calm nod.

Honey nervously but very gently gave him into Dust's arms. "Lay one finger on him in the wrong way and you won't see the light of day again." He narrowed his eyesockets at Dust as if daring him to do so.

Dust only shrugged in response and held Blue a bit tighter. Honey kept his threatening gaze a few moments longer before turning away and walking from the beautiful portal. While, yes, it would mesmerize many, it's galaxy-like colors and small specks of stardust pieces didn't interest him in the slightest. At least, not at that very moment; there were other tasks at hand.

Dust observed the scene a few seconds longer, feeling something was off. His dead brother whispered for him to drop the pathetic tied up skeleton and to leave this place, earning a silent scowl in response. They were interrupted by a muffled sound and a curious expression from a little skeleton in battle body armor. Dust shifted the weight to his other arm and removed the gag, tossing it to the floor to be discarded and forgotten.

Blue smiled and thanked him. No sooner than he did, red-magic covered bones flew towards them; only to be intercepted by purple-magic covered bones.

"'N where do ya think yer goin'?" Red hissed at the two near the breathtaking portal, causing the curiosity of a few around him to turn as well.

Dust grumbled an incoherent answer and took a step back, clutching the injured Blue against his chest. More skulls turned as a few monsters yelled and gave confused noises. He took another step back, this time through the portal. Then Dust did the most mature thing he could do in the moment. He flipped the bird as the portal quickly shut and disappeared, as if it was never there to begin with.

The crackhead and the blueberry were gone. They were safe from here for now. Error swooped down and landed gracefully on his feet in front of Nightmare. His hood fell over his face and he pushed the soft, white hood back as he glared at the two remaining Star Sanses. A sudden wheeze from Horror made him glance backwards.

Horror wheezed again and clutched his nonexistent stomach in laughter. "Error, are those fucking bear ears on your hood?" He wheezed again and doubled over in laughter. "Why didn't I notice that before? That's fuckin' hilarious and adorable-" He whispered the last part but it wasn't quiet by any means. Nightmare snapped his head towards Horror and his tentacles curled and twitched behind him.

Error reacted quicker however. He used his strings to tie Horror's legs together and swung him towards his attackers, successfully knocking over many of them. He then threw him into a glitchy portal and let go of him. He was safe now.

"So͟ ̕w̶h̕o͞ ͡él̴s̴è i̡s̸ go̡i̡n̛g͘ ̀t͡ò ͏com̀me͞n͝t̕ ́o͡n ̀m̸y͡ a҉p҉p̧ear͢ance?" His threat was hidden under the glitchy words as he looked at the remaining monsters behind him. But if they looked close enough, they could see the tiny hue of gold on his cheekbones. "Good." The portal black-and-white glitched portal flickered from existence, leaving no trace behind.

Ink was tired. He was tired of waiting. He raised his arm and lowered it in front of himself, silently signaling his side to attack once more. They flew past him towards the smaller group. They had the upper hand once again.

As they fought, it was quickly determined Ink and Dream were winning. Error had to make a spilt second decision as his blue threads clashed against more brightly glowing arrows and colored ink attacks. Nightmare's group and Honey weren't making a dent with a few of their members absent or injured. He redirected his strings around his allies as he opened a portal, flinging them inside one by one.

This was his attempt to protect them. To get them out of here. This wasn't their battle to fight.

As he was about to fling Nightmare however, Error was hit several times and faltered. Nightmare was dropped from those infamous dark blue yarns but his reflexes caused him to land on his feet. More ink splashed towards Error as he blocked it with his strings. Glitched bones shot out in random directions in attempt to push them back before they closed in. Error could feel his magic levels running lower and lower as his enemies neared.

Soon enough, they were within swinging distance. One of his fears became reality; his body fizzed and short circuited as he felt a punch on his upper back. His vision was clouded with his own name, rendering him even more blind than before.

His own fear was used against him.

Somebody had touched him.

Nightmare watched as his partner froze, taking on more damage by the second. Until at last he saw as Error dropped onto the ground. Nightmare hadn't felt like this in a very long time. And he couldn't stop himself as he tore past anyone in the way. Where he was going? Error. In the center of the chaos.

But before he could make it all the way, Error fell through the unfinished floor of the AU.

Seeming to have disappeared.
