Chapter 7

Follow @Huey_Duck (wrote Donald and Carter's parts)

(I wrote Dewey and Louie's parts)

Dewey stood up rapidly and ran towards the door of Huey's room. Louie grabbed his wrist before he could go to far.

"Dewey wait. Let the doctors handle it." Louie stated.

"No. I have to go in there."

The screams didn't stop. Even if Dewey wanted to go in there, he wouldn't be able to due to the fact that the door to Huey's room was locked.

A loud beep sounded, and Huey's screams became louder.

"Please let me go Lou." Dewey begged.

"I don't think they'll let you in there anyway Dew. Just stay here." Dewey looked at Louie with tears in his eyes.

"O-okay....."

Suddenly, everything went quiet in the room. There was no beeping... no screaming... nothing. Then there was one single noise. It sounded as though someone was moving a body onto another surface.

"What is that?" Dewey asked aloud.

"I don't know." Louie answered.

"Uncle Donald! Something's wrong!"

Donald rushed to get another doctor to open the locked door.

Dewey stood there anxiously his hands fidgeting with each other. Louie looked at his brother and back at the door.

'What's going on?' He thought.

Another doctor rushed to the door and unlocked it before gasping in horror.

Dewey rushed past the doctor and into the room, his body froze in terror as he did.

Carter stood there, smiling as she held a needle. Huey's body was laying on the floor beside her, unresponsive.

"Carter!?" Dewey yelled. Louie ran towards the room.

"Carter!? What did you do to him!?" He yelled.

Carter just giggled and shrugged. "Relieved you two bozos of your job of taking care this dead beat." she smiled and kicked Huey's body.

"H-how could you?" Dewey asked. "Why?" He was in shock. He couldn't move. He didn't know what to do.

She giggled again. "Cause I hate your family. Why do you think I beat up Louie over there?" she gestured to Louie. "At least I didn't take both of your brothers, right?"

Dewey looked back at Louie in shock and worry.

"She beat you up?" He asked. Louie just nodded softly, looking down at the ground. "Why? Why do you hate my family!?" Dewey yelled, he was now angry, really angry.

"I don't have to answer to you," she snapped back, picking up Huey's limp body. "By the way, the doctor that was treating Huey was actually working for me. The syringe he was giving Hubert was actually killing him. Ciao boys."

Carter waved at the two Duck brothers and walked out of the hospital room, carrying Huey's limp body over her shoulder.

"W-wait. Wait!!! Stop!!" Dewey yelled. "Please." He tried running after her but was stopped by Louie.

"There's n-no point Dewey......he's, gone."

Carter smirked. She hadn't killed Huey... yet. But they didn't know that. All she did was knock him out into a deathlike state. Though he still was dying.

Carter roughly put Huey's "dead" body in the back of a car, and the doctor who was "treating" Huey drove away with Carter and Huey's body.

Dewey fell to the ground, tears streaming down his face.

"What's going on?"

Donald immediately hugged Dewey. He had no idea what he could say to comfort him. Donald wasn't sure if anything could comfort him. He looked at Louie and held out his other arm for him.

Louie grabbed his uncle's arm and hugged it tight. Dewey looked down at the ground an closed his eyes, his tears staining the tiles below.

"Alright, boys..." he said sadly. "Let's go home.."

"No! We can't go home! W-we have to get Huey back!" Dewey yelled.

Donald looked at his middle nephew with sad eyes. "But Dewey, Huey's..." he trailed off, not sure how to finish his sentence.

"You don't know that!!!" Dewey yelled.

Donald backed away, shocked. He turned away from his nephew and walked away to calm himself down.

"He's not gone, he's still alive.....I know he is." Dewey's voice cracked on the last phrase.

"Dewey......I......you saw him there he's-" Louie started.

"It was Carter, it's all her fault!" He yelled.

"It's my fault too!!!" The middle triplet looked at his brother.

"What?"

"She told me not to tell anyone, but I did it anyway.....it's my fault she did this."

Donald came back a few minutes later and just looked at the boys. He was not in the mood to be yelled at by Dewey again.

"What are you talking about!?" Dewey yelled at Louie.

"I, um.....I" Louie was shocked by the sudden outburst.

"You're right, it is your fault."

"THAT'S ENOUGH!" Donald shouted at the two triplets.

"But it's not fair!!! Why did this have to happen Huey because of Louie's stupidity!?" Dewey yelled back.

"Dewey!" he grabbed Louie's hand. "It is not Louie's fault, and it is not your fault, okay?! Stop yelling at each other! You are all each other has right now!" he glared at Dewey. "We don't know if Huey is dead or not, but right now, the only brother you have is Louie, and you're about to lose him emotionally."

"I don't care!!! I just want Huey right now!!!" He screamed.

Louie stared at Dewey in shock.

"How could you say that?"

Donald frowned at Dewey. "Get in the car, Dewford. Now."

"But-"

"No buts!" Donald interrupted. "Get. In. The. Car. Now."

Dewey grumbled as he made his way out of the hospital and into the car outside.

Donald sighed and walked behind Louie as they both got into the car.

Donald shook his head and sighed before starting the car and driving back to Scrooge's manor.

Dewey looked out the window, his arms crossed.

Louie looked at Dewey and tried reaching over to tap his shoulder, only to have his hand slapped away.

Donald glared at Dewey through the mirror while driving. "Dewey..."

"What?" He said in an annoyed tone.

Donald just grunted and continued driving. He understood that Dewey was upset, but it was also disrespectful.

Once they got to the manor, Donald walked in with Louie, but didn't say a word to Dewey... he wasn't planning to speak to the blue triplet until he was willing to talk to him in a better tone.

Dewey walked into the manor and went to the room that he shared with his brothers, locking the door before Louie had a chance to get in.

"Dewey, let me in." Louie stated in a sorrowfull tone.

"No."

"Please!"

"Go away Llewellyn!!"

"Uncle Donald!" Louie whined.

Donald sighed as he stood on the other side of the door with Louie. "Dewey, open this door now."

"I don't want to." The middle triplet mumbled loud enough so that they could hear him. "And there's nothing you can do or say that will make me!"

Donald let out a heavy sigh. "Okay, I'm done." Donald rubbed Louie's back. "Why don't you sleep with me tonight?"

Dewey heard his uncle's offer to his little brother.

'I don't want to be alone.' He thought. 'Not tonight.' Dewey walked over to the door and slowly opened it. His vision stuck to the floor as he walked back to his bed.

Donald looked down at Dewey and just stayed quiet.

Louie walked into his room cautiously, afraid that Dewey would be his newest bully.

Donald crossed his arms and spoke to Dewey only.

"Be his brother, not his enemy." He gave him one final stare before walking away.

Dewey felt a pang of guilt in his chest as he looked at his little brother, who was across the room.

"Lou-Lou I......I'm sorry."

Louie smiled softly.

"It's okay, I know how you feel. I lost a brother today too, and I almost lost a second one."

Not far away, Carter was planning something big...

...and she wasn't going to let the two idiotic brothers get in her way.
