(I wrote Dewey and Louie's parts)
Louie stirred in his sleep unknowingly. Suddenly, he was back at school. It was the middle of the day, around lunch time.
Carter glared at him from the table she was sitting at. She did not look happy at all. She kept quiet, waiting for the perfect time to put phase two into action.
Louie looked around the cafeteria slightly confused.
"How did I get back here?" He asked himself. Louie made his way outside and into the quad wondering if the world he was in was real.
Carter got up and followed him outside, hiding behind a tree so the youngest Duck brother wouldn't see her. She steadied her breath and peeked out from her hiding place, watching him.
The green wearing triplet sat down on the floor in complete shock. He didn't know whether this was real or not, but he could have sworn he had been a situation similar to this earlier that day
Carter took a deep breath and came out from behind the tree and then walked over to the green triplet. She gave him a fake, yet convincing smile. "Hey, Louie." she said sweetly.
"Huh?" Louie turned around and saw Carter. A small smile formed on his face. "Hey Carter." He greeted.
"Hey," she said, sitting down next to him. "Is something wrong? You usually love lunch."
"Oh, no. Everything's fine. Something just feels off." Louie explained.
"How so?" Carter questioned, looking at the youngest triplet as he talked to her.
Louie brought his knees to his chest.
"I don't know, I just feel like I've been here before." Louie explained. "You know?"
"Sort of," she replied. "Do you have some memory of what happened here?"
Louie thought for a bit, his head hurting as he did.
"I.....I can't remember..." Louie stated. "I have a bad feeling though."
"Really? What?" Louie asked as he he stood up.
She stood up with him. "This."
Before she gave Louie time to process what was happened, she tightly gripped his arm and pushed him to the ground, hard.
Her sweet smile had been replaced with a menacing frown.
The air was knocked out of Louie's lungs as his back hit the ground. He gasped and coughed, desperate for air. His back now ached, along with a small pain in his arm.
She walked over to him and kicked dirt at him as she spoke. "Get up," she ordered. "I said get up."
Louie shakily stood up, his knees having trouble keeping him up. He didn't know what was going on, but he knew he had to listen, or something bad would happen.
Carter pushed Louie against the wall, gripping his sweatshirt in a way that made it so he couldn't escape from her.
"You little trash... you are going to listen to me, okay? I hate your brother, Dewey. I'm just using him, so in the end, I can harm him without even laying a finger on him." she giggled. "Fortunately for me, a family crisis has popped up for you and him... Huey's health is draining fast, isn't it, Louie?"
"Wh-why?" Louie managed to say. He was hurt by her words. Louie tried his best to get her to loosen her grip on his sweatshirt. "Why are you.....doing this? L-let me go."
Carter growled and slapped his hand away from her. She kept pinning him against the wall. "Because, I want to see you and Dewey suffer. Huey is a lost cause... I didn't have to do anything to him... he's going to die anyways." She giggled again and pulled on his hair, forcing his head to hit the wall, but not so hard where it would knock him out.
Louie yelled as his head hit the wall. His vision became blurry as he whimpered in pain.
"No he won't...." He breathed out.
She got in his face, staring him down. "And how do you know that, Louie?" she growled.
"B......b-because.....he......I, I-I don't know." He said just below below whisper. "Please.....put me, down." Louie tried his best not to cry, but the years still clearly visible in his eyes.
Carter was enjoying watching the green triplet cry. It brought her so much joy. She moved closer, now talking to him in a whisper, however the tone in her voice had not changed.
"Look," she started. "I don't wanna get caught, and you don't wanna get hurt, so I'll make you a deal."
Louie looked up at her, small tears now on his cheeks. He nodded with a soft whimper eliciting from him.
"You're not going to tell anyone about this little intervention, okay?" she glared at him. "If anyone asks you what happened, you say it's nothing. Got it?"
Louie took a while to answer, thinking about his response.
"Um.....uh, but...." He stated before getting interrupted by Carter.
"If you don't agree to this deal, Louie," she growled. "Then tonight might be Huey's last night alive."
"Ok, ok....I won't tell anyone." Louie shook in fear of his brother's life. "Please, don't hurt us." He begged. "You can do whatever you want with me....just....just leave my big brothers alone."
Carter rolled her eyes. "Hmm, I don't know... I don't think Dewey's been tortured enough yet." she looked away from him. Carter kept her grip on Louie as she thought to herself, a smirk had appeared on her beak.
"Wh-what are you planning Carter?" Louie asked. "Don't hurt him!" He yelled as he began struggling in her grip.
"Oh, you sweet thing..." she pushed him to the ground and put her foot on his chest. She leaned down so she was close to his face. "I won't hurt, Dewey... physically at least."
Louie froze.
He knew for a fact that Dewey was the most sensitive out of the three. He couldn't let anything happen to him.
"Please, please don't hurt him, please I beg you." Louie tried to sit up, but his body ached too much to move. "Do what you want with me.....I.....I'm useless anyway......it won't matter, if I'm gone." His heart stung by saying those words, even if he knew they were true.
Carter snorted. "I don't want to hurt you, Louie. I only beat you up to prove my point." she fixed her hair. "Like I said, I won't hurt Dewey physically... but I never said that about Huey, now did I?"
Louie sobbed loudly.
"I'm sorry." He muttered. "I'm sorry Huey. I'm sorry Dewey." He choked out.
Carter just rolled her eyes. She very much hated how he was acting like such a baby. She really hadn't done anything to him. At least, that's what she thought anyway.
Sighing, she picked Louie up and looked him in the eye. "Stop being such a baby. Did I make myself clear? This stays between us."
"Yes.....okay.....I'm sorry." He muttered the last bit. Louie looked down at the ground.
"Good."
In an instant, Carter's frown was again replaced with her sweet smile. She gently patted Louie on the cheek and giggled sweetly. "You're a good guy, Louie," she said to him. "See you tomorrow."
She waved goodbye at him before turning around, and walking away.
Louie whimpered at her sudden mood change. He watched her leave before falling to his knees.
"What just happened? What is she going to do? I-it's my fault if they get hurt. It's all my fault."
Louie gasped as he sat up, waking up from his nightmare. He looked down at the ground.
'Thanks for reminding me about the worst day of my life 'brain.'' He looked over and saw both of his brothers sleeping peacefully. 'They're okay. Thank goodness.'
Huey's head was still against Dewey's as he slept. His hand that had been on Louie's head fell off, causing him to grunt in pain.
Huey's eyes tightened a little from the pain that he felt as his hand hit the bed.
Louie looked at his brothers once more before looking over at the door.
"I want to go home." He muttered.
Despite the pain in his hand, while he was sleeping, Huey's hand slowly moved towards Louie and weakly grabbed his youngest brother's hand.
He was barely holding it, though. However, it still eased the red triplet a little.
Louie gasped quietly at his brother's actions. He sighed and looked at Huey.
"I'm sorry.....but I can't stand to look at you like this." With that, the green triplet stood up and walked towards the door, only to have it opened for him from the outside.
Donald looked at his youngest nephew as he opened the door. He began to whisper loud enough so Louie could hear, but quiet enough where it wouldn't wake Huey and Dewey up. "Louie, what are you doing?" he asked.
"I....I want to go home Uncle Donald." He stated. "I don't like it here."
Donald bent down to his height, he talked calmly. "Don't you want to be with your brothers, though?" he asked.
"Of course I do, I just don't like looking at him this way." He explained.
"I know it's hard," Donald replied. "But right now, Huey needs you. He's your brother, and he loves you... you have to be strong for him." Donald rested his hand on Louie's shoulder. "Just stay with him for the night... if you still want to go home tomorrow, I'll take you. But leaving without telling Huey will make things worse, okay?"
Louie nodded softly.
"Okay......I'll stay." He sighed gently and headed back to the bed. This time, climbing onto it and laying down on Huey's left side, trying not to hurt him.
Huey's eyes tightened as he slept. He had managed to turn on his side. His hand weakly grabbed Louie's and slowly pulled his arm closer to his body.
Dewey was on the other side of him, his head now resting on the back of his as he kept sleeping.
Dewey opened his eyes slightly, being awakened by the movement and climbed up carefully next to Huey. The triplets were now snuggled close together.
Huey felt whole again now that his brothers were by his side. Since the moment he had found out that he had this heart condition, his mood had dropped significantly. But now, even though his chest was causing him a lot of pain, it was the first time since then that he truly felt happy.
