Master or Anchor

'It has come to this. The end'.

2 days later since Lux has been captured.

I woke up again at the familiar surroundings, also again not so familiar as I was back to my nightmare. A sob escaped my lips as I tried to push my self from the ground, but my weak hands failed me.

I didn't know where I was, or how I got here but I felt utterly useless.

I had no idea how many days they've had me in here for, but it seemed like a year.

My throat was sore and scratchy indicating I had nothing to drink. It felt like the hundredth time I had fallen asleep and woken up in this hell hole.

My eyes wandered to the figure a few feet away from me.

It was a berserker.

It was guiding the door, so no one could get in or out.

Another round of coughs racked my body as I heard several cracks from what I was laying on.

My eyes glanced around to what I laid on. Fossils filled the room but I wasn't going to scream because I already knew it was there.

A loud creaking noise filled the air as I squinted at the sudden light that stabbed my eyes.

I finally saw her for third time I've been here. My capturer.

She whispered something to the berserker while it nodded. I furrowed my brows. Could those things actually hear?

The last we spoke she gave me a speech on how she is a la Luba that can create berserkers as well as control them. To say that I was shocked was an understatement. I didn't have enough information to put together, so I couldn't work out what she was going to use me for.

Was she going to turn me into a berserker?

Finally fear struck me as I watch her near me. I had no idea why she kidnapped me but I also had a fair idea it was because of what I was and I knew my pack were doing everything to find me. I could feel it.

"Hello Lux." She greeted but it didn't give you the comfort you would expect, not that I was expecting anything from the person that kidnapped me.

I shivered from the coldness of the room and her tone of voice, as I watched another berseker approach me.

I noted how this berseker looked shorter than the rest and I couldn't help but feel the connection between us. He didn't even look intimidating.

"My Hybrid. My precious, precious hybrid." She spoke with so much sincerity, whilst she touched my face as I flinched away.

"You have no idea how powerful you are, do you?"

I didn't answer as I tried to keep my breathing normal. I wasn't as scared as I was suppose to be, because if she didn't kill me it didn't matter because I was already dying.

"Part Kanima. Part werewolf. And part Banshee." She explained, a smile playing on her lips almost in admiration.

"But I'm going to use your Kanima side for my advantage instead." She added her voice turning darker and more sharp.

I swallowed the lump in my throat that had formed, as she kneeled infront of me. I glanced at the berserker behind her as it stood there silently behind her, watching me intensely. As I watched it more carefully, I swore I saw human eyes behind that monstrous mask.

I quickly felt someone pull at my chin as Kate forced me to look at her. "Do you know what a Kanima seeks Lux?"

I shook my head but she also helped with that, as her hand held my chin tightly. "They seek a master Lux. And that's what I'm going to be to you." Kate assured me as devilish smirk joined her plan.

She roughly grabbed my arm as she made eye contact with the beserker.

It seem the berserker understood her, as he grabed me from her forcefully.

"I'm going to force you to turn to your kanima side Lux!" She yelled, as she sauntered closer to the door gesturing for us to follow her.

I whimpered, as the hold from the berserker suddenly became tighter around my upper arm, whilst what Kate said barely registered to me. My eyes caught the berserkers arm as I saw human skin.

And a tatoo. A familiar one at that note.

My neck snapped up at the beserker, as I looked wide eyes into it's brown eyes in recognition.

"Scott?"

The pack had rushed to Mexico as they heard of a certain True Alpha, Kitsune and Twin Hybrid had been kidnapped by Kate.

Liam's breathing became ragged as it slowed down from the words Stiles told him to use instead of Derek's that just made him more angry.

"The sun, the moon. The truth." He answered finally, still breathing heavily from almost turning and killing both Derek and Stiles.

As he began to breath slowly, he felt his stomach turn at the people he just lost. Derek and Stiles noticed this and decided to comfort the young beta.

"It's not your fault. Liam." Stiles assured him as his eyes glanced at April and Braedan in the front of the van.

"It is. If it wasn't for me or what I said. She wouldn't be in this mess. She wouldn't have ran away." Liam responded his voice broken and filled with grief.

He promised she wasn't going to die and she wasn't. They were twins! They could never be able to lose the other, and then there's Scott thats mostly keeping Liam sane right now, who is also his Alpha. He needed Scott as much as he need Lux.

"None of us knew Kate wanted Lux. Liam. You wouldn't have known that. Just like we didn't know she wanted Kira Or Scott." Stiles clarified.

Liam pursed his lips as tears cloud his vision. "She's dying. My twins dying and I cant do anything about it, which also is my fault. She wouldn't be dying if I was never bitten."

Silence filled the air, as Derek watched confused at Liam whilst April and Stiles avoided eye contact.

"Dying?" Derek questioned quietly, as his dark brows furrowed, his intense green eyes dimming.

Stiles brushed his lips with his fingers as he nodded. "Yea. She uh is a hybrid type thing, and I guess her body cant handle the transition."

Derek squeezed his eyes tightly at the information. "I knew she was a hybrid."

"You did? She seriously told you too!" Liam exclaimed gaping at the fact his sister would tell the guy that tried to kill him not long ago, but not him.

"No. I knew since I met her. Gemolous Truco." Derek emphasised the spanish word, as memories of the past were recreating in his head.

"I know that means twins tricks right?" Liam asked as Deaton mentioned it numerous times.

"Right! tricks. Lux is not dying, she's evolving." Derek clarified with them as April sharply turned around at the information.

"What do you mean?" April questioned joining the conversation. Being able to ask what Liam was to shocked to.

"I mean she is on her way to becoming a fully fledged hybrid." Derek confirmed.

"Scott!" Please no. Scott look it's me." Lux struggled as she tried to assure the berserker that was actually Scott.

Kate obnoxiously let out a laugh as she watched the young hybrid struggle. "Scott's gone Lux, and soon you will be to."

Lux furiously shook her head as steady streams of tears fall down her face. "Scott I know your in there please don't do this." She begged.

Emotion struck him, as he lossened his grip on her and Lux felt it, whilst she nearly let a smile play on her lips when she stared into his brown eyes, she always admired as innocent.

Kate noticed this, and quickly did something that Lux didn't have time to see. Before she knew the berserker had pushed Lux back down.

Kate looked above her as the moon light illuminate around them. Lux also looked up realising what she was going to do, as she quickly scrambled to her feet.

Kate roughly grabbed her, whilst she put her hand over Lux's mouth.

"Were going to force you to turn. Lux. I'll become your master."

They watched as Derek, get pulled out of the van and onto the ground by the berserker.

The gang had reached La Iglesia and the second Derek opened the door he was already attacked.

Stiles watched wide eyed, as he looked to Breadan for help, to panic to do anything. Stiles and Liam run out of the van as Braedan got out to firstly fight off the bersekers.

Malia, Peter, Liam and Stiles all entered the recked building of the church, whilst they knew what was about to come to them was war. It being a church didn't give them the comfort they needed, not that they were really religious or anything, but it was suppose to give them some type of comfort to feel safe. But this one gave total darkness.

But it didn't matter, they were going to save Kira, Scott and Lux.

The scales had replaced Lux's skin but not fully, she was half shifted into a Kanima. As her eyes turned to a venomous yellow, with her pupils shifting into slits.

She stood emotionless next to the berseker who was also Scott. The human side of Lux had vanished and she stood as an obeying minion.

Kate smirked at her creations. She was now the Kanima's master and the controller of a True Alpha.

"It's game time." Kate snarled as she smirked at her minions.

The Kanima (Lux) hissed as the berseker (Scott) growled in response. It was certainly show time.

Stiles ran the other direction, away from the group as the tunnels seemed to get darker. Peter had decided to hide behind some pole as April and Liam follow Stiles's lead.

The berserker came on faster as Malia threw punches which the berseker easily avoided. Liam and Peter both decided to join as April waited for her part.

She had her belt made from wolfsbane and the daggers she usually hid in her boots. She was trained fighter, was her excuse when Stiles had forbid her to fight knowing how Scott would react to his little sister fighting a berseker.

He also didn't do a good job convincing Liam especially since Lux was the one in trouble.

Another berseker had emerge the other not being seen anymore, the gang noticed that this certain berseker was smaller but still looked vicious.

A series of hissed were heard as they all turned around to see a scaley skined Lux. They knew that Lux wasn't in there anymore as the body showed no emotion. It's slit pupils were bright green as the venom liquid nails leaked out.

One scratch she could easily paralyse them. April new this information but Liam was dumbfounded by the appearance of his sister. He wanted to hug her for being alive but at the same time he didn't think his sister was in there at all.

He knew she was hybrid and knowing Lydia didn't turn into a scaley lizard it indicates that this was the Kanima part.

"Lux." Liam whispered warily, as he took a risky step forward towards his sister. It quickly hissed at Liam causing April to grab him back by his arm.

His sister was gone.

Quick reflexes of moves were made as the Kanima and berserker started to fight the pack. The berserker throws down Malia and aims for Liam as the Kanima aims for April.

Both tried to fight as much as they can but the enemies were too strong. April had become faster with her skills and tricked the Kanima a number of times but the Kanima also came back harder.

As they fought alongside the berserker and Liam, the Kanima's suddenly stops unwillingly. April furrowed her brows at its strange behaviour, before the Kanima's bare it's teeth at her, showing lethal sharp silver and before she knew it the Kanima's had jumped the other way in speed.

April didn't have time to chase it as something was recognised by Stiles, as he ran in. "No wait, wait! Malia wait!" Stiles was yelling out in warning But Malia continued to thrust at the berserker, too into what she was doing to stop, but Kira rapidly hit the knife in Malia's hand with her Katana, knocking it to the ground. "It's Scott, it's Scott!"

Everyone turned their heads towards the berserker, furrowing their brows. This gave him enough time to throw Peter and Liam to the ground before sending a punch at Malia's face.

Scott faced April, ready to finish her off with a determined posture whilst April was to in shock to believe it was her brother in there.

Also for the first time she felt weak as she remembered this thing was what killed her friends. They might have been bad but there was still her friends and she never even had time to grieve over them not even a little. But it didn't mean she was going to forgive them, for what they were going to do to her family.

"Where's Lux!" A voice yelled but April didn't answer, staring wide eyed at her brother.

"Scott! Scott! Don't." Kira yells as he approached his sister.

Liam quickly distracts Scott but soon got his punishment as Scott grabbed Liam by the neck and soon pushes him against the wall.

"Scott, Scott! Listen." Liam panicked as he tried to free himself from Scotts's grasp but it was too strong. April makes a move to push him off but Liam quickly warns her, with his eyes. April wasn't convinced but still obeyed Liam as she still stand by close to the berserker.

She was also trained to be strong and never to cry because it made you weak, but watching the people she loved get hurt, was ripping her
apart.

"Scott." April could barely muster as she tried to bring back the human in the, monstrous disguise back.

It seemed that Liam had it under control as he stopped struggling in Scott's grasp, staring at him intensely in the eyes.

"Your not a monster." Liam stated as determination took over him, for split second his attention averted to April as she gave him a slight nod. "You're a werewolf. Like me."

Scott started to release Liam as his words register into his mind. In instinct he started to rip off his façade as if disgusted by the monstrous costume that covered his body.

He broke out of the mask as the true alpha made himself visible letting out a mighty roar.

Kate had commanded the Kanima to follow her and protect her from what she knew was coming, telepathically.

The Kanima helped Kate finish off the rest of the Calaveras as they fought along side eachother. Lux paralysing anyone that came near her or her master.

"Come! La loba. Let me show you how the Calaveras die."

"Give it up Araya! Because we are coming to kill you next." Kate responded bitterly as refers to her and Lux.

The Kanima which was also Lux stayed close to her master also glancing around at anything unusual and before they knew it a bullet flew full force towards Kate and stabbed her shoulder.

Kate quickly gasped as she looked up to see her Brother was the one to shoot."Chris." she spoke in disbelief.

Lux/Kanima hissed as if feeling the pain of her master. Before The Kanima/Lux knew it she was grabbed by the wrist and pushed to the ground.

April held on to her neck as she tried to stable the Kanima. Her eyes caught a dark movement and she quickly turned to see a black wolf attacking Kate.

She got over her shock at who it was, sighing in relief as she only had Lux to worry about.

The Kanima bared it's teeth at April as she tried to stand up and help her master, almost pleading.

"Lux! Lux listen to me this isnt you!" April yelled as her grasp on Lux hardens as it seem the Kanima was getting stronger. Before she knew it the Kanima had scratched her, as April gasp from the intense pain.

But April didn't give up as she grabbed on to Lux again. "Listen this isnt you! Ok! Your Lux Dunbar. My best friend! Your Liam's loving and clever twin sister."

The Kanima stopped struggling as, Lux's eyebrows furrowed. April let out a light sigh as she loosened her grip gently. "Your also apart of a true alphas pack. Scott's McCall's."

"And your not dying Lux." April clarified as she watched the black wolf that attacked Kate not long ago form into Derek. "Your evolving." she finished of mindlessly in unison with Derek.

Her chest heaved, she didn't know Derek for long but was happy he also wasn't in fact dying. She looked down at the Kanima and realised the scaley skin was gone but her slit pupils and sharp nails were still visible.

Lux POV

I opened my eyes at my surroundings and already felt my eyes heat up from what April said.

I fought my way through, as the side that still obeyed Kate was still there and I knew I couldn't hold it in for long. "She's my master. I have to follow her orders." I whispered my voice breaking from my cries.

I watched as April panic look emerged to a relieved one as she also starts to tear up. "No, no. She dosen't have to be."

I nod frantically as I could no longer hide my sobs. "But she is. I don't have an anchor."

"You don't need one ok. You don't even need a master. You control yourself Lux, be your own Master."

My eyes widen at her words, but I soon feel a sharp pain that cuts through my abdomen as I scream at the intense pain. Great coughs rack my body as I tried to form words.

"I'm really not dying?" I had to question as I forced my self the words.

"No your not. You were evolving just like Derek." April relied a smile forming away on to her lips.

I nodded as I closed my eyes taking in heavy breaths. I noticed how I couldn't even handle my own breathing, and I could swear I was having some sort of heart attack.

"Lux what's wrong?" April asked panicked as she watch me trying control myself.

"I-I don't know just get me out of here."

April took a look around as her eyes widen a bit before catching my gaze. "Well we surely cant ask a naked Derek. So come on the others are inside."

- Third POV

April held on to Lux as she grunted from her heavy frame on her. Lux was barely walking or limping and her eyes seem to be closing every now and then.

As they both approached into the church, April watched as her pack all watch wider eyed at something.

She lifted her head a bit to see her brother, distraught. She left after he got out of the berserker façade. So she was just as confused as Lux.

"What happened." April chocked voice ran out through the church, sending chills down everyone spines also from the showdown they just witnessed.

They all turn around at younger McCall's voice. Their eyes widen at the sight of an unconscious Lux, with visible human skin.

Liam quickly got her side as he grabbed Lux from April. "What-t happened to her? How are you?"

April was barely able to catch her breath and she was glad Liam had taken Lux. "I don't know, she just had trouble breathing but I think she'll be ok. I on the other hand. Oh im fine." April clarified breathlessly. She ignored the dizzy feeling she got and couldn't help but make her way to her brother.

April approached Scott to give him a big hug she could see the urge for him to return it but she could also see something else. This far away look he was given her, the look of worry as his eyebrows scrunched together.

"What's wrong?" April asked her eyebrows also scrunching up in confusion.

She turned around to realise Malia, Kira and Stiles were giving her the same look. "What is it!" She asked more harshly now as fear struck her.

She turned to Liam and now could see his shocked expression. "Someone talk now!" April demanded as tears already clouded her vision.

They were all circled around her as she turned to each of their stares. "April." Scott said warily, taking a step closer to her. As if being careful of each step he made.

"What is it?" April's tone was hard and demanding.

Scott mistakingly made his eyes wander to her stomach and she caught it. He mentally cursed himself, as he watch her look down.

She gasped in shock as two large scratch marks were visible on her stomach. They were so deep it seemed impossible she was still standing.

April took note that it wasn't just any scratch mark it was a scratch mark from a Kanima. Adraelin quickly left her body as she suddenly felt her body stiffen.

Scott quickly caught her fallen body as she twitched in his hold.

"April!" Scott called but she didn't respond as her eyes rolled to the back so you could barely see her pupils.

"Scott! Lux's barely breathing." Liam also yelled out.

Scott couldn't help but say the same for his sister.

The pack circled around the two girls who both laid unconscious on one of Deaton's metal table. It's been 24 hours they've reached beacon hills.

Lux had made some progress but April had not. Deaton explained that it was because a Hybrid venom was more powerful than just a regular Kanima's venom.

He was also shocked about Derek's information on how Lux was evolving. And not dying. They had discussed it and it truly did seem like Lux was getting stronger.

Malia, Stiles and Kira finally left but it did take some encouraging from Scott who had decided to stay with his sister inlcluding Liam.

Both waiting for their sisters and the other for different reasons.

"I promised no one else would die." Scott confessed as he look at the two brunette girls he promised to always protect.

He cringed at the memory, at Mexico when he nearly attacked April. He promised to protect her from those people and he became one of those people.

The time seem to slow down as they waited for any of them to wake up. April still hadn't make progress and it was hard to understand if she was actually going to wake up.

"When will she wake up?" Liam questioned not talking about a specific girl.

As if in cue, the brunette took a sharp intake breath of air as her eyes widen at how powerful she felt.

The boys stared at her wide eyed as she took her first breath as a fully fledged Hybrid.

What an amazing roller coaster this has been. My first ever story completed!

I dedicate this chapter to every single one of your readers because you guys are incredible like seriously I love you guys and I actually cannont contain my excitement.

If I'm not happy with this chapter that means they'll be a possible epilogue.

Also if this chapter was like more April than Lux. Also the mystery of April will forever be mystery (evil laugh)

If there's any plot holes please feel free to ask me question about the non explained. And sorry for that.

There will be no sequel but that still not 100% because it depends on season 5 of TW.

Also sorry for no romance for Lux I just felt that there was so much going in with her that it was hard to bring someone into it but I was leaning towards Scott and Brett.

Also this is going into major editing because in litterally cringing at my misspelt words and plot holes.

I was writing this during watching the vampire diaries because I missed so much and omg I know I'm late but Tyler not being a hybrid makes me sad.

Sorry for this ranting but the end of Bad Flavour still hasn't resisters to me but goodbye Dunbar twins and April McCall most importantly Lux.

Well I have other stories out that will mean a lot if you check them out as She wolf is also prob ending this month.
