The Hybrid

'Sometimes the shape you take, reflects the person you are'

I stared longly ahead, everything seemed to be moving in slow motion. I didn't even understand how I got down stairs. The blanket draped around my shoulders did nothing for my shivers. I barely noticed when April walked in front of me.

She dropped the mug on to the table, filled with hot chocolate, gesturing for me to take it. I didn't feel like drinking, even if my throat felt dry. I stared at the mug, watching as the steam swelled up in swirls.

My hand nears the mug as I am just tempted to dip my fingers into the steamy liquid. The second my fingers touched it, I hissed back, glaring at the liquid in pain, at how intensely hot it was.

I heard April chuckle in the background. "You're suppose to drink it Lux."

"And risk having it poisoned with wolfsbane! No thanks." I snarled at the brunette, I use to call my friend. I watched as her smile falter, and the guilty look replace it.

"I don't expect you to forgive me Lux, but this isn't about me it's about you."

I let out a moan. "I don't want to talk about it." I assure her, I never wanted to talk about it. What just happened was unexplainable.

"Well you have to." She assure me, her voice sickly sweet.

I stared at my mug, as I imagined pouring the hot liquid all over her.

"I understand Lux that you were turned by a twin."

I snapped my head towards her, how did she know that?

"How do you know that?" I voiced out my thoughts.

"We knew a lot of things Lux."

I rolled my eyes her, yea her and her assassins friends.

"Liam was bitten, and it somehow altered your DNA, because your twins which basically made you affected by it."

"What is your point!"

"You were never bitten Lux, Liam was! and the only reason your a were-"

"La la la, I do not want advice from an assassin." I remarked cutting her off, standing up and nearing the door.

"This is the door April, now leave."

April hesitated as she played with her fingers.

"Just because Liam forgave you April, doesn't mean I will." I promised.

She reached the door but not before giving me one last glance. As she took her time opening the door. It seemed like two figures were already there.

I stared alarmed as April, like an instinct quickly pulled out two daggers from her boots.

Lydia and Stiles were both at the door also staring in shock at April, as my mouth remained wide.

"Oh my god! I'm sorry, I'm so sorry." April quickly apologised as she tried to confront them.

Lydia and Stiles made it known to her, that they didn't need comfort. I walked closer to April my mouth still wide open, gaping at her in shock.

"You brought those, those things into my house!" I roared in irritation. Was she crazy, she came to apologise to me. With the daggers she used to kill innocent people, like me.

"Don't worry, it wasn't the first time someone tried to kill me." Lydia assured us as she fixed her strawberry blonde hair.

"Well that time should have been the last." I answered Lydia, my eyes still kept on April.

"Does Scott know your here?" Stiles asked the brunette ex assassin.

April kept her mouth closed, shaking her head. She was so ashamed bringing those weapons here. I mean she did have valid reasons, the amount of death that happens in this town will be an essential to bring a gun or any other weapon.

She was just so use to gearing up. It slipped her mind.

I found my self nearly asking why Scott would care until, I remembered she was his long lost sister.

"Wait? so what? are the McCalls keeping her?" I asked Stiles.

He was about to answer until April cut him off.

"I'm not a dog." She nearly hissed.

"Well, you might as well be." I hissed back just as much hate.

"Ok, ok." Lydia tried to settle us.

"Why are you guys here anyway." I asked the two juniors.

They both looked at each other as Stiles made a weird gesture with his hands, as if preparing to speak.

"Are you ok?" He asked me, as his left eye twitched.

I furrowed my eyebrows, at them in confusion." Yea I'm fine."

"No weird pains or connection." He asked again as I watched Lydia face palm her self.

I raised my eyebrow at the twitchy junior. "No Stiles, No weird connection or p-"

I guess I spoke to soon.

I doubled over as I tightly held on to my side. The pain wasn't bad but when I first felt it, it like Id been run over.

Stiles quickly held on to me. "This is exactly what we were afraid of."

It quickly registered to me, why they came.

"Where is Liam?" I asked frantically. If I was hurt it meant my twin was in danger.

"That's what we'd like to know." Lydia answered.

I stood up straight as the pain was bearable. "What do you mean, he just went for a run. With Mason!"

"A run is never just a run in Beacon." I here April say.

I snapped my head over to her in rage. "What did you do! April I swear to god if-"

"She didn't do anything!" Stiles interrupted, rubbing his eyes in frustration as I stared at April's shocked face.

"I wouldn't hurt Liam, Lux." She assured me.

"No but you would bring weapons laced with wolfsbane that can kill us into our house because you wont hurt us, right!? I rapidly spoke sarcastically.

"What do you think Lux!, we live in Beacon hills, Beacon hills!"

I moved forward over to her, ready to rip her off eyes out of her head until Stiles held me back. Damn it Stiles!.

"Look behave you two, and April you should really get back, Scotts worried." Stiles mentioned to April.

"Worried! about this thing. I'll have you know she's the bad guy!" I exclaimed. Was I the only sane person here.

"Then again she saved Brett's life and Scott's and possibly mine." Stiles said trying to calm me.

"She doesn't care about anybody but her self." My voice was bitter and cold and I meant every word.

I ignored her look of guilt and her continuos whispers of 'sorries'.

"We can't trust her."

"Well Scott does, so we don't have to and your brother forgave her." Lydia told me.

"Well Liam's stupid! And screw Scott." I scoffed in annoyance.

Suddenly my head started to spin and I could barely keep my eyes opened. I couldn't make out what the others where saying but the next thing I knew, I was sitting in the living room.

"What is it Lux? is it your brother, is he hurt?" I swallowed the lump in my throat but I knew it wasn't my brother, it was me.

My eyes caught April's gaze. I gave her narrowed look, practically begging her no to tell.

"We need to get Lux help!" I heard her yell. I gave her the worst death glare I could muster.

Yea she didn't exactly tell them what was going on, but she could of kept her mouth completely shut. I mean I didn't know what was going on. Is having scaly skin a part of transitioning to a werewolf or even hearing voices.

"Wait what!" I heard Stiles exclaim.

Oh no. I said that out loud didn't I.

"So I did hear you scream." Lydia whispered under her breath. Moving over to seat down on the seat in front of me.

"You what!" Stiles once again.

"And it probably means I did hear your voice." I asked confused.

"What!"

"You know what this means Lydia right?" April asked the stressed out strawberry blonde.

"No, I mean the only other person I could connect with like that was Meredith."

"I'm confused guys!"

"Mer who?" I asked again mindlessly ignoring Stiles.

"She's another Banshee."

It's when it registered to me what they were leading this to.

"Wait am I- a-a banshee!" I asked utterly scared and confused.

"A what! guys! fill Stiles in, someone needs to fill Stiles in!"

"No that doesn't make sense, I had claws, werewolf claws!"

"Did you Lux?" April remarked dryly.

"Of course I did April!"

"Don't for get Lux, I've seen many claws. I've studied many mythologies, Lux I think your dying and it's killing me!"

I sat on the metal table, scrunching my nose in disgust from the smell. I watched as Deaton circled around me, watching me intensely.

I forced my self not to scream or run. Garrett had gotten to my brother, and I can only feel his fear not his pain and thats what made this feeling worst.

I couldn't lose my brother, I cant.

"Are you just going to keep circling around me or are you going to tell me what's wrong." I asked the veterinarian.

April couldn't close her mouth shut as expected. I didn't exactly hear what she said to Deaton because they decided to going into another room and wasn't exactly an expert on wolf hearing.

Lydia and Stiles both insisted I met the man himself(Deaton) again because if April's pathetic rage of me dying.

"Can you shift now Lux?" Deaton asked me.

"Why?" I asked in confusion.

He raised his eyebrow at me gesturing for me to do as he said.

I firstly made my eyes glow, as I felt my gums ache from the growing teeth. The claws retracted themselves, revealing the liquid. I winced a bit as I heard a voice in my head ring out.

"Now tell me what the problem is doc." I told him my voice raged and muffled from the Canines that filled my mouth.

I watched a he swallowed the lump in his throat as if in fear.

"You just surprise me everytime Lux, don't you?" He weakly smiled probably trying to assure me I was ok.

He intensely stared at me, taking in all my features.

"It's remarkable, the eyes of an Kanima as you said is now a werewolves, the claws of an Kanima the venom included. No scaley skin as you stated before April, ears of an werewolf but the mind of a Banshee" Deaton explained as he caressed my chin.

My breathing turned ragged from being terrified and confused. But I stayed quiet.

"The thing is, no one Lux, no one can survive this type of transformation."

*Dramatically Gasps* Will Lux survive this.

Don't worry more will be explained next chapter and I hope you enjoyed this chapter.

There is actually a name for what she is. Which is basically title but it will be revealed why she is like that if Derek's quote didn't explain already.

Im a pretty crazy person which cause me to think the most weirdest things and Ideas and I come out with this mess.

Like hasn't Lux been through enough. I mean she didn't even get bitten but she suffered the consequences.

I felt like she was quite rude to April and it was actually so fun writing it ha cant wait to write more between them.

Sorry if this chapter didn't make sense and you don't know what episode it is. Basically it is the episode Orphaned when Garrett kidnapped Liam.

It also be explained why she didn't feel Liam's pain.

Sorry the chapter is not edited. I will do though. I really just want to finish up with this story to get ready for my other ones.

Question: is Lux right to be still mad at April and what do you think of April being Scotts long lost adoptive sister?
