Oc stands for original character, even though most of them are ANYTHING BUT THAT.

Let's have an example of a bad Cp oc.

Weapon: knife
Looks: perfect
Powers: demon/ angel/ other original bullshit.
Backstory: got bullied... And murdered people. Yeah.

PLEASE. STOP PRODUCING MARY SUES. WE DON'T NEED ANYMORE.

GET YOUR OWN IDEAS.

A good oc needs an interesting personality, carefully selected strengths and weaknesses, and most importantly, a good backstory.

Your oc should also never be in love with an already made charaxter. Jeff the killer, for example. If you do that, your character will loose it's independance, and won't be able to stand on it's own anymore. An oc should be completely your own, and never just built off of their love for another character.
