Chapter 52

Dylan's P.O.V

Last Friday night
Yeah we danced on tabletops
And we took too many shots

No.

Think we kissed but I forgot
Last Friday night

Why am I hearing that? Why is she singing and adding to my pain!!!

Yeah we maxed our credit cards
And got kicked out of the bar
So we hit the boulevard

Make it stop.

I groaned and opened my eyes slowly, it was my goddamn phone. I stretched my hand to my phone which was laying on the dresser, I answered the call not even checking whom it was first.

"Hello?"

"Rise and shine!!!! Dark Angel!" Raven squealed through the phone, making my head pound so bad. I moved the phone away from my ear for a few seconds and then brought it back.

"Stop screaming," I muttered, I wanted to yell but I knew better. "My head hurts so bad." I said as I stayed still trying not to move cause of how bad it hurt. "Ugh,"

"It's gotta hurt after last night." She said with a chuckle and I frowned.

Last night?

"What happened last night?"

"A lot." I could tell she had her evil smile on.

"Why did you call so early?" I asked with annoyance.

"It's almost eleven thirty, dumbass. I'm on my way to your house."

I groaned again. "No please, stay there."

"Too-fucking late"

I sighed.

"How do you feel?"

"Like someone hit my head with an Axe." I confessed.

"Your imaginations dear Dylan is beyond this world."

"Whatever,"

"Just take a bottle of water and some pain killers for your headache, that should help."

I hummed in response, still feeling sleepy and angry that she had cut my sleep short.

"Alright then, I'll be there soon. I need to also disturb Jaxton and make him mad like you are. You'll soon be rushing to puke since you haven't done that this morning, later." She said and hanged up.

Crazy

I put my phone down with another sigh, I sat up quickly and I regretted that cause I felt like I was gonna die anytime soon. The pain all shot up in a second and I felt like there were multiple car crashes happening in my head.

Shit.

I winced and placed my hand on my forehead as if it would help reduce the pain, I stayed still and felt like I was gonna cry. Remember that headache I explained weeks ago that would make you wanna cry and was really really bad? I was having another episode.

"Fuck you, Raven." I muttered and sighed again, rubbing my forehead as the pain slowly subsided.

The smell of pancakes filled the house and that was starting to make me feel nauseated, I crunched my nose in disgust. I didn't feel so good, I felt the urge to puke and I quickly got up and scurried to my bathroom as fast as possible. I tried ignoring the fact that Hades and Zeus were fighting in my head, leaning over to the toilet bowl, I let it all out and emptied my stomach. A few tears dropped, thanks to the pain I felt.

I flushed the toilet and rinsed my mouth severally, I looked at my stupid awful looking self in the mirror. "You're never going out with Raven again." I told myself in a tired voice and sighed. I walked out slowly cause of the headache and to my closet, I started to strip down and then it hit me once all my clothes were off. I looked around with wide eyes.

I was in my house.

I'm in my fucking house!!

Oh. My. God!

How?

I didn't remember climbing the window back up and if I was that wasted then there was no way I would have been able to do that.

Oh my God!

Does mom know?

Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!

I slowly changed into a pair of boxers and a long shirt, kicking my clothes to the side.

I opened the door and as I walked out, Jaxton was also coming out of his. He looked just as awful as I did and Raven did say it was almost eleven thirty, Jaxton would never sleep this long which means he was also wasted as fuck last night.

"Hey," I muttered.

He walked like he was counting his steps and sighed. "Morning."

He looked like the sleep he had wasn't enough and like he regretted everything like I did, I didn't need anyone to tell me she had called him.
"She did call you, huh?"

He scowled. "I'm never going out with Raven again."

I laughed and quickly regretted it, I shut my eyes and hissed, trying to calm myself.

"Sorry," he muttered.

"What the fuck did I drink last night?" I sighed

"Hey, h-how did we...how did we get in our r-rooms?" Jaxton asked the same question I was asking myself and if he didn't remember and I didn't then we were screwed

"I have no idea." I sighed.

"Oh God, does your mom know?" He asked, already panicking. I didn't blame him, I was also panicking cause we committed two offenses.

Offense number one: We sneaked out at night.

Offense number two: We went to a club.

Offense number three: We got drunk as fuck.

Oh look, it's actually three.

"I don't know Jaxton," I sighed. "Last night is still super blurry to me and I'm also freaking out."

"Shit," he cursed. Jaxton rarely cursed which meant he was really panicking.

"Raven's on her way here, we better take those pain reliefs before she arrives or she'll make us feel more pain." I said, Jaxton nodded in agreement. "And by the smell of those pancakes, mom's downstairs. We can't stay up the whole day, we gotta face whatever we have to face. If mom didn't wake us up then I feel she knows about it cause Mrs. Bonnie Dexwell would never let us sleep till eleven am." I knew her too well.

Jaxton nodded. "You're right, I hope they don't see me as a bad person."

"You should be praying we don't get grounded." I said and started heading for the stairs, he sighed and followed.   We both carefully and slowly walked down the stairs.

We approached the kitchen where mom was, making pancakes while dad was sitting and keeping her company. She turned with a smile and when she saw us, she smiled the more.

"There they are!" She said with a high pitch and I had to stop walking cause she just raised an alarm in my head. I'm sure Jaxton felt the pain too since he squeezed his eyes shut.

"Morning," we chorused and looked at each other, we walked over to the kitchen and sat on the stools.

"Just in time." She smiled and serves us pancakes.

I looked at Jaxton.

Why is she acting normal?

He shrugged and arched his brow, I read his face as.

I don't know what's going on, does she know?

I shrugged this time.

I don't know.

I closed my eyes and nodded a little indicating we just act normal.

"Um, thank you Bonnie." Jaxton said with a fake smile.

"How was your night?" Mom asked.

I'd have to ask Raven to know.

"Great," I answered, smiling.

"You boys did wake up late, anything interesting happen last night?" Dad asked making Jaxton drop his spoon unintentionally.

Oh God, he knows.

Jaxton's eyes said, they were as wide as God knows what.

"Um," I cleared my throat. "Yeah, we talked for a long time." I fake smiled.

"Hmm, about what? If I may pry." Mom asked and folded her arms.

Jaxton gulped loudly and I knew he was freaking out the more. "W-We were talking a-about um..."

"College." I finished up for him. "We'll soon be going off to college and it was fun talking about it."

Mom arched her brow. "You still have a year."

"Well time flies by." I said and gave an awkward laugh, Jaxton joined and we were both laughing.

"You're so funny." Jax said and began to eat.

"Oh, okay." Mom nodded, looking unconvinced. "Well, enjoy your breakfast." She smiled. "Matthew, can I talk to you upstairs." She said and walked past us.

"Sure," he muttered. "Be right back." He said and followed.

Jax and I froze in our seats, we said nothing and waited. They both climbed the stairs, we didn't move, closely paying attention to their footsteps slowly fading and then their room door closed.

Jaxton and I both let out a heavy breath that we didn't know we've been holding. "They know." He said and rubbed his forehead.

"I know," I sighed.

"What were we thinking, they're playing us and we thought we were gonna have to play them." Jaxton whisper yelled. "Your mom's gonna hate me."

"Jaxton, relax!" I whisper yelled and hissed when my head started to hurt. "Painkillers."I muttered and walked to the cupboards, I opened them and took out the bottle of ibuprofen. I poured out four pills in my hand and handed two to Jaxton, we swallowed it, taking a glass of water afterwards.

"What are we gonna do?" He asked calmly.

"We're not sure they know." I tried to convince myself.

"Did you see the look on your mom's face while we lied right in front of them?"

"You're right, she knows." I sighed.

"We have to just say it, we have to tell them." Jax said as he rubbed his neck.

I nodded. "If we didn't come up through our window then we came in through the front door and there's no way mom and dad wouldn't have known."

He nodded. "Let's not lie to them, your mom is smart. The smartest woman I've ever met, we're fooling ourselves."

I sighed. He was right, mom was the smartest and cunning woman in the world. We were definitely fooling ourselves.

Their door opened and I quickly sat down and began eating, I looked at Jaxton once I heard their descending footsteps. He nodded, thinking the same thing I was. Let's do it then.

"Boys," mom called.

We both stood up with and turned.

"Your dad and I kn-"

"I know, I know." I sighed. "We're sorry okay, we didn't mean to."

Mom folded her arms. "Go on,"

Jax looked at me. "I know you trusted us that much and we just did something stupid as that and I know you're mad at us."

She looked at dad and arched her brow at him before looking back at us.

"We snu-"

Just then someone knocked on the door stopping me.

"I'll get it." I said and looked at Jaxton. "I'll be right back." I walked past my parents and to the door with a sad expression, I was freaking out. They're probably mad and pretending.

I opened the door to find a smiling girl with red hair in a dark blue jumpsuit and dark sunglasses. "Hi, baby."

"Hey,"

She took off her glasses showing the fact that she was frowning. "I would have thought you'd be happy to see me when you see me, still mad I woke you?" She pouted.

"It's not that, stupid." I sighed. "Jax and I are in the middle of confessing to my parents about last night."

She cocked her brow, looking at me like I was stupid. "And why would you do that?"

"Cause they obviously know and are pretending like they don't." I shrugged. "We were wasted and I don't remember how we got home but I'm sure we came in through the front door and they know about it."

Raven frowned and shook her head. "You guys didn't come up in through the front door."

I scoffed and chuckled a bit, confused. "What do you mean we didn't come in through the front door?"

"Tony carried you both on his back while he climbed up to your room windows and placed you guys on your beds." She stated. "I was even gonna pay him but he refused the money." She shrugged

My eyes widen. "What?"

She nodded. "So, whatever confession is about to happen has to stop cause they don't know anything and are only pretending to."

What the fuck?

Shit, that woman who gave birth to me is so fucking smart and we were about to spill it all.

Oh shit.

I looked at her with wide eyes. "Jaxton!" I rushed back in with her behind me, she close the door once she was in while I walked faster to the scene. I was behind my cunning parents, I started waving my hands around for Jaxton who was apologizing and looking down to notice me. He looked up and when he saw me, I started muttering things and doing signs so he'd know they were playing us and Raven was doing the same thing. He frowned, giving us away and making them turn to see us, I quickly put my hands down and cleared my throat whole Raven placed a hand at the back of head.

"It's Raven,"

"Hello, Mr and Mrs Dexwell." She greeted with a beam.

Mom smiled. "Hello Raven," they both responded to her greeting while I walked over to stand next to Jaxton, Raven began talking to them.

"What's wrong?" Jaxton asked in a whisper.

"They don't know." I replied, whispering as well while staring at my parents to know when they'd turn.

"What do you mean? They obviously know. You saw their faces, they're waiting for us to spill and we can't keep fooli-"

"Listen here, stupid." I cut him off sighing. "We didn't come in through the front door," I said and looked at him.

"Huh?" He looked confused. "How did you-"

"Raven." I answered. "They're just acting, they must have known cause they saw how nervous we were earlier."

"Shit," he cursed for the second time today. "Your parents are fucking smart."

I sighed. "I know."

"So what do we do? We almost spilled."

"Well," I looked at him. "We do what we know how to do best. Lie."

Raven looked at us and I gave her a small nod, she had been distracting my parents and acting like she cared about their reply just so I could inform Jax. "Um, I should go up to Dylan's room. It seems you guys are having a family meeting,"

"Yes we are." Mom answered with a nod.

"Alright, I'll be...up" She said, she looked at us for a second and then went up to my room.

They both waited until they couldn't hear her footsteps like Jax and I did.

"So, you were saying?" Dad furrowed his brows.

"Mr. Dexwell, W-We weren't talking about college l-last night." Jaxton stuttered, acting panicked

They both frowned, looking interested the more and waiting for us to spill out the truth try acted like they knew.

"Last night we-"

"Talked about relationships," I chimed in making them turn their gaze to me. "Jaxton here is just...having boy trouble and that's what we were talking about. He's experiencing a love triangle in school."

"I am?" Jaxton asked and I instantly elbowed his stomach.

"I am." He rephrased and nodded, trying  not to sound pained.

"And he didn't know what to do and we talked for hours." I shrugged. "Jaxton didn't want me saying a word about it but he can't lie to you guys and we felt you guys knew already, we're.....sorry for lying." I said, acting sad about it.

Four brows furrowed at the same time.

"Oh," Mom blinked.

Was she expecting something else? Oh wait, she was.

"Well, why didn't you come to us. Well....me?"

"I. Don't. Know." Jaxton shook his head.

"Aw, you poor thing." Mom said and approached him. "You can tell us anything sweetie." She said as she placed her hands on his shoulders.

"So it is another teenage drama, huh?" Dad said, smiling a little.

"How long has this been bothering you?" She asked softly.

Jax fake smiled and looked at me. "Yeah, Dylan. How long?" He said through gritted teeth.

I pinched his thigh hard since I was standing close to him, he bit his lower lip so he wouldn't scream. "A-A while now." He replied her.

"I also had a love triangle experience in my life." She smiled at him.

"You did?" Dad arched his brow at her.

"Just follow your heart and don't keep anything from us, no more." She smiled at him, ignoring dad. "How about we talk later, hmm? Your friend's waiting upstairs."

We both nodded. "Thank you, Bonnie." Jax said calmly. She hugged him with a smile.

"Run along,"

We both carried our plates of pancakes and began walking, once we passed them, I smirked wickedly.

••

"Oh my God, that was so close." Jax groaned. "Your parents could be working with the CIA or something." He added.

We were all in my room, we had been talking about this for five minutes with the door shut. We were all sitting on my bed, Raven had fully explained how we got in. Tony. God bless his sweet heart.

"Tony must be super strong to carry both of us, I mean...up the wall? I suspect his real name is Peter Parker." I said firmly.

"Are you still drunk?" Raven chuckled.

"Don't remind me about last night, I woke up to the worst headache ever."

"Me too," Jax sighed.

"You both drank a lot, especially you Dylan. A whole bottle of bourbon just for you."

I frowned. "I finished it?"

She nodded. "And then you were someone else, it was funny." She laughed.

I instantly felt panicked. "Raven. What did I do?"

"A lot," she shrugged. "A guy came to hit on you, I think his name was Tom or something. He was trying to have a normal conversation with you but your reply was just dark, just about Lucifer and Henry." She curled up her lip.

"I-I'm sorry, could you repeat that?" I blinked twice.

"Try to remember,"

"How the fuck am I supposed to remember that?" I yelled, not of anger but of frustration.

"It's in your head somewhere."

What did you do, Dylan.

"Why can't I remember?"

"I'll just tell you guys the little ones you both did."

Jaxton stiffened. "Spill,"

"Well, lets start with you Jaxton." She smirked evilly.  "You got drunk real early, you made out with a total stranger and-"

"Woah! Woah! Hold up! I-I d-did w-what?" He stuttered, blinking severally.

"Don't worry, he was hot."

"What the fuck, Raven! How c-could you let me do something like that?" His face went red with embarrassment.

"Hey! I went to the bathroom and when I came back you had your tongue down someone's throat! Not my gault." She defended her self and shrugged.

"Shit!" Jax ran a hand through his hair.

"W-Whatelse?"

She shrugged. "You just did normal drunk people stiff like dance and scream and laugh and misbehave, nothing new." She smiled.

"That doesn't sound like me at all." Jax shook his head.

She nodded. "Drunk Jaxton is fun," she smirked and turned , her smirk became more evil. "Drunk Dylan is epic."

What did she mean?

My eyes widen. "What. Did. I. Do?"

She shrugged, smirking.  "Nothing bad, you just danced on the counter while people cheered you and you also took off your shirt."

My eyes widen the more. "No!"

"Yes," she nodded. "I took a photo by the way. I am not gonna tell you what you did last night," She then laughed. "But the funniest part was when you even puked on one of the security guards and-" she paused. "I'm not telling you."

"Raven!!" I yelled angrily. "You have to tell me what I did last night! How come Jaxton gets to know and I don't?"

"Cause I get to watch you freak out and its fun." She smirked.

"You villain bitch! I hope you get hit by an angry buffalo on your way home and die, and your corpse gets eaten by vultures."

"Thanks for the graphic image, Dylan." Jaxton scowled.

"I think you've been watching Natgeo wild a lot." Her brow quivered. "I'm still not telling you." She smirked still.

"I kissed a total stranger." Jaxton said to himself, staring at nothing.

"At least you know what you did."

"It's nothing, ninety nine percent of people have done that." Raven said, referring to Jaxton.

Jax looked up at her and let out a sigh of relief.  "Really?"

She shook her head. "Just a few people."

Jax groaned.

"Oh," Raven looked back at me. "And about that guy who almost took advantage of your drunk state in the bathroom, if you remember."

Of course I did, I wasn't fully wasted so I remember that part. When i stupidly thought he was Henry and to be honest, its his fault.

"How could I forget?" I let out a heavy sigh.

"Wait, what?" Jaxton's mouth hanged open. "Someone tried to take advantage of you?"

I nodded. "I wish I couldn't remember that part." I ran a hand through my hair.

"Well Tony went to get him with the security but damn you really did handle him." She complimented, I was totally confused.

"What do you mean?" I frowned.

"Well, when they went to get him, he was the floor. Bloody and almost unconscious, Tony said he had some bones broken, I mean damn you badly beat him up." She seemed proud.

I shook my head, confused the more.

What was she talking about? I didn't even hit him.

"Raven, I didn't even punch him, I just kneed him two times or maybe more but that was it."

I didn't hit him, right? I'd remember if I did but I just kneed him and went away.

"I wasn't fully drunk to the point I'd black out at that moment," i shrugged.

Raven seemed to also be as confused as I was, she was listening carefully. "Well if you didn't do it then someone must have beat the curse out of him."

I frowned. "Who could have?"

She shrugged.

"Maybe he tried to do it with someone else?" Jax said looking at both of us. "And the person beat the crap out of him."

"Makes sense." Raven nodded, but why didn't I think that theory was right?

Was he there?

Did he do that?

Snap out of it, Dylan. He wasn't there, stupid. Jaxton could be right about that, he was horny after all.

"Yeah, maybe."

"Well, all that matters is that he got broken bones and some teeth out so he's fine." Raven waved it off.

"Ugh," I groaned. "Last night is so blank, why can't I remember?" I was frustrated, I wanted to remember.

"My head still hurts." Jax sighed.

"I'll be right back, I need to use the bathroom." I said and stood up, I walked straight into it and locked the door. I walked up to my mirror and placed my hands on the sink letting out a heavy sigh.

"You're so stupid, Dylan. So stupid." I muttered and with another sigh, I turned on the tap and washed my face.

"Hey, you okay?"

I turned rapidly, mentally making a note to go to the hospital to check on my neck.

No one was here so where did that voice come from?

Did i kill someone last night and now the ghost is after me?

Dylan. Relax.

I told myself and washed my face again, the question came again and that same voice, except-this time....as I looked at myself in the mirror, I saw who. I saw it all. In my head.

"Hey, you okay?"

I turned to my left and giggled once i saw the boy in front of me, dirty blonde perfectly jelled hair and perfect brows, he wore in a white shirt. He was hot and looked like a movie star.

"Yeah, I'm so fine."

"You're drunk." He stated and chuckled softly.

"No, I'm Dylan. Nice to meet you." I said and rested my cheek on my palm.

"I'm Turner." He grinned.

"Nice name for a guy who looks like a movie star that needs sex."

His brows flew up and a chuckle escaped his mouth. "Uh, okay then. I'm not movie star, just got into college."

"Sweet," I said and sipped from my glass.

"So, you live around here?"

I nodded continuously.

"Let me guess, high school senior?"

I gasped. "Oh my, you're-" hiccup "Psychic."

He laughed. "Let's go with that."

"I'm making this easy for you cause I'm drunk, do you just wanna fuck me?"

He went pale. "Uh, no?"

"All boys want the same thing," i smiled. "Well I'm saving myself for Jesus."

He blinked thrice. "That's.....interesting."

"Can i tell you a secret, Triston."

"It's Turner...but sure."

I leaned in. "You promise not to tell anyone?" Hiccup.

He nodded. "Okay?"

"Swear it, Tyler."

He laughed. "I swear with my heart."

I looked around and then at him. "I'm not human, I'm the son of Lucifer Barney Stinson. The devil, shh." I whispered and laughed maniacally.

He frowned and chuckled afterwards. "Why did i not expect that?"

"I am the god of disaster. The god of chaos. You shall-" hiccup. "bow before m-" hiccup. "-e or be punished and I'll  have your mother-" hiccup. "and sister killed before you." hiccup.

"That was dark."

"I will forgive you, if you kiss my ring. It was given to me by Hercules right before he dumped me and moved on to Athena." I stretched my hand out to him.

"I'm pretty sure Athena's older by far,"

"KISS IT!" I demanded and gasped when i saw there was no ring on it. "Its gone, it's gone!" I started to cry.

"Hey, Hey. It's here." He held my hand.

"No!" I cried. "Hercules is gonna be mad at me and Lucifer's gonna strip me from my powers for the second time and I'm supposed to right my mortal enemy, Jercules."

"Jercules?" His left brow arched.

I nodded, still crying. "He's like Hercules except he's a jerk and I hate him so much even though he's hot. His name is Henry. The hottest guy earth has and I swear I hate him even though we kiss." I giggled. "I wanna murder him and cut off his legs and hide them in my closet but i can't without my powers." I cried.

"Look, it's fine. Jercules or...henry cant do anything to you and you wanna know why?"

I shook my head, pouting.

"Cause i have your ring," he said and showed me a ring that looked like the kind the Salvatore brothers had.

I gasped and grinned. "My ring!"

That was not my ring.

That was not me.

What the fuck did i do?

Oh

My

God.

I was back to my senses and staring at myself in the mirror with a shocked expression, I just remembered half of last night's conversation with the total stranger Raven was talking about. I quickly looked at my finger, i had his ring on. The stranger's ring. And i didn't even realize that.

I stole his ring.

I'm wearing a stranger's Salvatore's ring.

I embarrassed myself.

Talked about Hercules like I knew him, of course he thought i was mentally unstable.

I quickly ran out of the bathroom and looked at Raven with wide eyes, they both looked confused and concerned.

"W-What's wrong, Dylan?" Raven asked, confused.

"I just fucking had a flashback of me embarrassing myself and talking about Hercules with a guy i don't know and acting like a mental patient! SO YOU BETTER FUCKING TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED LAST NIGHT, FROST!!"

The concern on her face disappeared and a wicked smirk appeared and by what she said next, I knew she wasn't gonna spill. "And the fun begins."

What kind of a best friend do i have?  I'm screwed.
