Chapter 58
Raven's P.O.V
I opened my eyes slowly once I felt it was morning, I sighed softly and sat up, rubbing my neck. I heard a faint snore and friend before slowly looked behind me. A half naked boy was sleeping on my bed, he did look kinda peaceful not only was he attractive right now.
When did he take off his shirt?
I wanted to wake him and tell him to get out before someone comes in but watching him sleep looked warm or something, not in a creepy way and so I ended up smiling.
"You know it isn't right to stare." He said, eyes still closed, making me realize what I was doing. He opened them slowly with a smile and I scowled. "Admiring me when I'm sleeping hmm?" He smirked.
"No, you drool when you sleep." I said and rolled my eyes standing up. "You need to get out before someone comes in."
He groaned and sat up. "I don't droll." He muttered and wiped his lips. I folded my arms and turned to him as I watched him put on his shirt tiredly.
"I'm pretty sure you have less than five minutes to leave before you die."
He frowned. "Die?"
"I have a father."
"Me too." He shrugged.
I rolled my eyes. "Yeah but mine would cut off your balls and get away with it."
He chuckled as he made his way towards me. "That did scare me a little."
I didn't smile.
"Hey, you wanna talk now?"
I sighed, trying to look as bored as I can. "Zachary Pratt, I'm fine. Seriously."
He frowned darkly as he took another step towards me. "Did someone hit you?"
I looked up at him and blinked. "What?"
He didn't answer and moved my hair away from my shoulder and backwards, he used his hand to tilt my head to the left.
"What are you..."
"Who did this?"
I blinked. "What are you talking about?" I fake chuckled.
"Who assaulted you?" His eyes darkened.
"I-I don't u-understand what you mean.",
"Don't fucking play pretence!" He snapped, making me flinch. "There are marks on your neck, Raven! Fingerprints! Is someone assaulting you? Hitting you? Is it your family? That's why you were sad last night wasn't it? That's why you called me? Talk to me!"
I shivered and rubbed my neck, I had not seen any marks last night. Shit.
"Zac-"
"Raven! Don't even try to lie to me! Tell me what's wrong!"
"It's nothing okay! I had sex with another guy last night and we tried some...kinky shit and he did thus choking thing and that's all."
Zach blinked and knitted his brows the more. "Do I look that stupid?"
I nodded. "Yes."
"I'm not buying that!"
"Suit yourself." I said and turned to go but he grabbed my arm, dragging me closer to him.
"Zach! Let go."
"You're lying to me. Why? Why won't you tell me the truth? Who did this to you?"
"No one. You're overreacting,"
"So, you just called me for nothing? Crying on the phone cause you were trying some kinky sex with a guy who likes to be called daddy?"
"It's mister actually, he likes to be called mister."
"What?" He scoffed. "Wow, you really think I'm stupid, huh? If you don't tell me what's wrong then I'll find out myself."
"Leave."
"What?"
"I said you should fucking leave!" I yelled and pulled my arm away aggressively as I glared at him.
He looked at me as if hurt. "Let me help you," his gaze softened.
I shook my head and chuckled. "I don't need help, Zach!! Even if I did, you would be the last person I'd call, you wanna know why? Cause you're stupid. You're dumb and I'm pretty sure you've never had an A before, have you? I wouldn't call you if I needed help cause we all know you're not the smartest fish in the sea. So fucking leave me alone, stupid. And. Get. The fuck. Out of my house!"
I needed him to stop asking questions.
He looked at me and said nothing for a while, breathing hard. "Fine." He said firmly. "I'll show myself out." He said and headed out the window, he pushed it open and made his way down not even sparing me a glance.
I let out heavy breaths and made my way into my bathroom. I looked into the cracked mirror, even still, I could see my eyes were already teary and i didn't even know that. I pushed my hair back as I finally saw the prints, red finger prints.
The night flashed back into my head and I shook it away.
"Not today," I said to myself in the mirror. "Today, you're a happy Raven. You're a good girl." I said as I wiped off my tear and smirked. "Much better."
Dylan's P.O.V
"And then Dominic was like, dress nice today, I'll pick you up at Dylan's house after school." Jaxton said with knitted brows. "I don't even know why." He said frowning as we walked towards the doors of Eastwood.
"Gee, I wonder why." I smirked.
Flashback.
"You need to take him out today." I said as I held the phone against my ear with my shoulder as I put on my jacket.
"You think? Where?"
I rolled my eyes. "I don't know, a strip club?" I sarcastically replied.
"A strip club?"
I paused. "Dominic, I'm being sarcastic."
"Oh," he cleared his throat. "Yeah, I...I know."
I shook my head. "Take him on a date, a really nice one but...don't tell him it's a date." I said as I picked up my sneakers and walked to my bed, sitting on it.
"So, I just take him out?".
"Yes, do everything one would do on a date. Make him happy. Make him come home with a big smile." I said as I wore my left shoe.
"I can do that."
I paused, an idea popping in my head. "Dom, how well do you fit in the fancy world? Like fancy dinner and stuff?"
He went silent. "I...I don't think.."
"Good. Tell him to dress nice and take him on a fancy date." I tied my shoelace.
"You're not listening D...wait with suits on?"
"No, it'd be too obvious." I sighed as I wore my right shoe.
"So, what are you saying? An ordinary, fancy date?"
"Exactly!" I grinned. "See, you're leaning quick."
"Shut up."
"Don't talk to your helper like that." I scolded.
"Sorry, let me rephrase. Please, shut up."
"Fuck you!" I frowned.
"Nah, I'd rather do Jaxton."
"You're just like him, aren't you? Ugh, cocky boys." I groaned, rolling my eyes. Referring to Henry.
"Who?"
"N-Nevermind," I sighed. "Now, you're gonna do as I say and take him out, okay?"
"But-"
"Good boy, bye." I smiled and hanged up.
Flashback ends.
"I guess it is important, I wonder where we're going if it ain't a coffee shop or the hospital. Why else would be tell me to dress n-"
"Calm down, Jaxton. Just dress nice and go have fun with Dominic, stop over thinking things." I smiled at him and then we spotted Raven at her locker, she was putting on a black turtleneck and a black leather pants.
I looked at Jaxton and so he was looking back at me, I gave him a nod and we made our way towards Raven in a rush.
"Hey,"
She turned to me and grinned. "Hello, sweethearts."
"Hey, you okay?" Jaxton asked.
She nodded and took out a book before shutting her locker. "Sure, why?"
"It's just...you sounded weird on the phone." I said softly. "It wouldn't take Bryce who we all know is the dumbest boy in Eastwood to figure that out." I said with a shrug.
She chuckled. "You boys are overreacting, its nothing. I called you boys up and I forgot that I did and I had a little cold and dad needed me to come down in a hurry and that's it."
"Oh!" Jaxton blinked.
"That it?"
She nodded. "Of course,"
I sighed. "I was super worried."
"No need to be," she assured me, smiling perfectly. Now if you'd excuse me, I've got some campaigns to run." She said and turned, walking away with her book.
I looked at Jaxton and he did. "Well, I guess we were worried over nothing." He sighed.
"Yeah, I guess so." I replied as we began to walk. "So, how's your LGBT club coming along?"
He shrugged. "Well, been running things smoothly, nothing has gone wrong."
"And it'll stay that way." I added making him laugh. "There are so many awful things happening." I sighed.
The bell ranged and we both said our farewells and went to our different classes.
"Hey," A voice greeted as I walked into my class, I looked to my left and there stood Jon.
"Well hello, stilinksi."
"Why call me that?" His brows knitted.
"You should be happy." I frowned at him as I took my sit.
"Whatever." He rolled his eyes and sat next to me.
I pouted. "Oh laud, are you still mad about the whole you and Raven dating thing?"
He looked up from his table and at me. "What'd you think?"
"I think you are being ridiculous."
He scoffed and whispered. "You. Ruined my one chance with Gwen!"
"Really?" I cocked my brow.
"Yes. Really. I'm not talking to you." He said and looked at the board.
I smiled and looked at the board. "Okay fine, I won't tell you what Gwen told me this morning."
He quickly looked at me and I slowly turned my head to face him with a wicked smile.
"What'd she say?" He eagerly asked.
"Well..."
Flashback.
Earlier.
"Alright, I'm out." I sighed and was about to open the door when mom spoke.
"Y'all be good kids, okay? Your principal hasn't called me and its better that way. Don't want to have to ground you both." She said as she rubbed her lip gloss using her makeup mirror.
Jax and I exchanged looks.
"Yes ma'am." We chorused.
"Good."
"And you be careful, the bump's already starting to show and you're heading to work so you should be extremely careful."
"Yes, sir." She replied and smiled
"I'm serious mom."
"Me too, I promise I'll be fine." She said looking back at me.
"Alright, bye." I said and unlocked the car stepping out the same time as Jaxton before she drove off.
"I can't believe we have to wait for another several months before that baby pops out." I did with a sigh as we walked.
"It'll pass real quick, you'll see." Jax smiled.
"Dylan,"
I looked right ahead and saw a certain cheerleader with gold hair and pink lipstick in her cheer leading uniform walk up to me.
"Gwen, hey." I smiled at her.
"How are you?" She asked with a grin once she was standing in front of me.
I nodded. "Good."
"So uh," she looked at Jaxton and at me. "Can I...speak to you in private?"
I frowned and looked at Jaxton and then her. "Uh.."
"Its about Jon."
"Okay then, let's go." I quickly said and looked at Jax. "Don't move." I said, pointing a finger at him. He nodded as I walked some steps away from Jax with Gwen. "What's up?" Did you finally realize you love him?
I grinned.
"So, yesterday while we both were working on our project."
I nodded. "Mmhmm."
"I decided to ask him about Raven."
My brows rose. "You did?"
She nodded. "And uh...it turns out he doesn't really know much about Raven. I mean, if I wanted to be in a relationship with anyone, I'd want him to know a lot of things about me like my obsession with BTS and GOT7 and how I like going to the library's on Saturdays." She shrugged while I listened attentively. "He thinks Raven's best color is darkness."
"Huh?" I grimaced.
"Exactly! Darkness. That makes no sense. Literally everyone knows her favorite color is red and black."
I nodded. No one needed to be told. Those were the devil's color.
"True."
She sighed. "You need to help him work on that, you can't get close to someone if you know nothing about them."
I put on a wicked smile. "Thank you so much for this information, Gwen." I then smirked. "It meant a lot."
She smiled. "Good, now...I gotta go. I'll see you in fourth period."
I frowned. "We have classes together?"
She gave a straight face. "Three classes together."
I blinked. "I...I didn't-"
She smiled. "It's okay, you don't pay attention to people. That. We all know." She said and walked away.
I sighed and walked back to Jaxton.
"She seems nice."
"Yeah, well anytime I see her, I remember that I don't have the money to go to BTS's contest." I said and sighed again, walking side by side with him.
"Well....ask your parents." Jax suggested.
"For six hundred dollars? Wow, how did I not think of that. I'll just ask my parents cause a money tree grows out of their butt."
He scowled. "All I'm saying is, it wouldn't hurt to try." He shrugged.
"I need to talk to that Jon kid."
"What happened?"
"It's complicated."
"So, he called me earlier."
"Who?" My brows knitted.
"Dom."
"Oh,"
"And we talked for a little while about his mom and he also said to sy hi to you."
"Hmm, sweet."
"And then Dominic was like, dress nice today, I'll pick you up at Dylan's house after school."
Flashback Ends.
His jaw dropped. "She said that?"
I nodded. "Mmhmm, and you're stupid." I quickly smacked the back of his head.
He placed his hand at it and glared at me. "What was that for?"
"Darkness? Really?"
"Have you met Raven?"
I smacked his head again.
He let out a cry. "Stop, you asshole."
"Shut up."
He glared.
I glared.
"We need to use what she said to fix the broken pencil."
"Huh?" His brow rose. "What'd you mean?"
"She said-"
"...if I wanted to be in a relationship with anyone, I'd want him to know a lot of things about me like my obsession with BTS and GOT7 and how I like going to the library's on Saturdays."
Jon frowned, listening attentively. "Okay?"
"Remember my plan of making you know whom those boys are in BTS?"
He nodded. "Yeeeah?"
"You need to know who they are fast! And GOT7 as well! And...you're gonna start going to the library on Saturdays." I smirked.
"The library? Why do I have to-"
I glared.
His brows shot up. "Ooooooh. I get it now."
I smiled. "Good."
"So, about the BTS thing. When do we st-"
"Good morning class, sorry I'm a little late."
Our teacher was in. I smiled at Jon. "As soon as possible. As soon as possible."
•••
Lunch
"So, Raven. Found your queen dress yet?" I asked as we both walked from our class to the cafeteria with Jaxton.
"Not yet." She sighed. "They're all boring looking," she groaned.
I chuckled, pushing my backpack upwards. "Jaxton, shouldn't you be getting your suit ready?"
"We've got a week left, it can wait." He shrugged.
"Hey guys," Jon jogged towards us.
"Ugh," Raven put on an irritated face. I nudged her. "Be nice."
"Whatever."
"Sup."
He smiled once he got to us. "Hungry as fuck."
"Me too." Jaxton said and they both walked ahead.
Raven and I walked behind them and once we entered, I pulled her aside. "Hey,"
"Hey, what's up?"
I looked to my left, staring at Johnathan as he talked to a girl. "I've got a plan, another plan. It's time we take things far with him."
She frowned and followed my eyes and then Johnathan looked at us, I smirked at him but Raven looked away.
"You know," I looked back at her. "Let's make up something like a way to actually p-"
"No."
My brows knitted. "What? I haven't even gotten to the plan yet. Listen, I think it'll work. All we have to do is-"
"NO!" She snapped. "We're not doing anything, okay. Let's call it off."
"What? Are you crazy?"
"I'm serious, Dylan. Let it be, throw the plan into the trashcan."
"No. Look, we can't let him get away with this. He needs to be behind bars for what he tried to do to you, I'm not letting you give up now. We haven't even started yet and you want me to just let it go? Johnathan? The son of Lucifer, born through the venom of a rare snake, blood as black as the night...should be free? No."
"It's my life, isn't it?" She sneered. "Then what I say, stands. Let it be."
"Ra-"
"I'm serious, Dylan. Leave it be." She said and walked away.
I blinked, feet glued to the floor.
Was she being serious right now?
I looked at Jon, he was still talking to the girl. I glared at him and was about to walk to get my food when someone walked to me.
"H-Hey," he looked real shy.
I frowned. "Hey?"
"Uh, p-principal Evans asked for you."
I frowned the more. "What? Why?"
He shrugged. "I...I don't know."
I sighed. "Thanks." I smiled at him and walked straight out of the cafeteria.
I was heading towards the principal's office when a I felt a hand grab my arm and pull me, in a flash I was out of the hall and in a class.
I was about to bite and scream, i was being pressed against something. I looked up and green eyes were staring back at me.
"What the fuck, Henry. Don't go dragging me around." I scowled.
He smirked. "Sorry."
"Now leave me, I have to go see the principal." I said trying to get out of his grasp but he wouldn't leave me so I started walking but he pulled me back and against his chest. "Henry, he needs me."
"He doesn't."
"What do you mean he doesn't? He just sent a student to c-" I paused and then it hit me. "You sent that kid, didn't you?"
He just smirked.
"You're an asshole."
"Maybe."
"I'm hungry and I wanna go eat now."
"You're coming to my house today."
On a normal day, I would disagree and argue but right now I didn't want to.
"Okay, wait why?"
"Cause I want you to." He frowned. "I spent one whole week at your boring house."
"It was four days of you coming there!" I scowled. "Now leave me, I really wanna devour my mother's meal."
"You brought lunch?" He quickly asked.
I nodded. "Yeeeeah, why?"
"I...nothing." He said and was about to leave when I grabbed his arm this time. It was mom's cooking and Henry loves mom's food and can't even deny it. "You...wanna eat with me?"
He turned and pushed my hand off. "There's food at the cafeteria, I'll eat there." He said and turned but before he walked, I spoke.
"I've got Italian." I said with a smile and he didn't move while made me smile the more.
He turned and gulped. "I..."
I rose my brows.
"A-Are you sure y-you wanna s-share? What If its not...." He scratched the back of his head awkwardly.
I snorted. "Of course it's enough, now come sit with me and let's eat, I'm really starving and I won't wait for you." I said and walked to a table.
He smiled and nodded before walking to the table I sat on. He sat with me and I opened my backpack, taking out my lunch bag. I took out the food and placed it on the table. "Well, there's just one fork here and....we'll have to share that too."
He nodded slowly. "That doesn't matter."
"Hmm, okay." I stared. "You first."
He frowned. "Its your food, you eat first."
"Seriously?"
He nodded.
"Okay." I shrugged and picked up the fork. I took the first bite and handed him the fork.
We began to eat silently until Henry was about to eat again and poured it on his jeans which made me laugh out.
He glared. "It's not funny."
I nodded. "It is."
"Stop laughing."
"I can't." I said as I covered my mouth while laughing.
"Not. Funny."
"Sorry," I cleared my throat. "I didn't think you'd miss your mouth." I said, holding back my laugh.
He chuckled.
I chuckled.
"You're crazy." He said with a grin.
I smiled at him. "You have a really nice smile."
His smile reduced a little. "T-Thanks."
"You eat, I'm done." I said and smiled.
"No," his brows knitted. "You join me."
"I don't wanna, I'm full."
"It's just a little left."
"Exactly," I nodded. "Now eat."
"Its your lunch."
"I don't mind." I grinned.
He went quiet for a while and nodded. "Okay,"
"Okay, now eat Ashcroft."
He smiled and began to eat, of course he couldn't say no. He can't run away from moms food and that made me happy.
•••
"So, have you spoken to Christian?" Jax asked as we walked around the field.
"Not yet, why?"
"He asked about you in one of the classes we had together." He replied with a shrug.
"Oh, I'll call him l-" I paused once I saw some jocks talking to a kid who was sitting on one of the bleachers.
"What's wrong?" Jax asked.
"Wait," I muttered as I watched.
They were laughing with the kid and soon he started running, they opened his bag and took out a bottle of something yellow.
I frowned. A certain jock I recognized poured it all out and peed in it, my frown deepened. "What the fuck?"
"That is so disgusting." Jax grimaced.
I looked to my left and saw the boy running back to them, he just ran a lap. He started breathing hard and the boys cheered him, my jaw dropped and I looked at Jax. "They're gonna give it to him! Shit!" I exclaimed and ran towards them leaving Jaxton behind. He handed the boy his drink or the pee and he opened it. He was about to drink it when I increased my speed and slapped the bottle out of his hand once it almost touched his lips.
"What the-"
"What the fuck Bruce!" I scowled. "You peed in his drink and you really want him to drink that? What kind of sick monster are you?"
The boy blinked. "W-What?"
Bruce smirked. "Why don't you Dark Angel, mind your own fucking business?"
The boys chuckled.
I took a step towards him. "You bullying kids here is my fucking business, you fucktard."
He looked back at his boys with a laugh and back at me. "He won't mind his business."
"Oh damn right, I won't."
"Why don't you just go do what you do and bug other people?" He said with a jocklike smirk and the boys chuckled.
"Fuck you, Bruce!" I snarled.
He smirked. "These losers should stand for themselves if they could, I mean they'd just get their teeth out." He laughed. "Like you got your arm broken by opening your filthy mouth and talking to Eric in a bad manner," He smirked while I clenched my fist. "He should have broken more, maybe like your spine or your leg or...put you in a coma."
I slapped him hard, he stumbled backwards.
"You should watch the way you talk, especially to me!" I said and pointed a finger at him. "And, if you ever. Ever try to bully this kid again or anyone else and I catch you, God so help you cause I will cut off your dick and hang it right on your door."
He frowned at me. "Fuck you, Dylan! What I do here is not your fucking buss-"
I slapped him again, harder this time. It's echo made the boys move back, they were all silent now, they all looked shocked, some jaws dropped, some eyes widen and some forced back their laughs.
"I'm warning you, Bruce. I'm not weak and you are not of my class, I will ruin you before you could think of what to say next. Be warned, Bruce. Do. Not. Push. Me." I said, glaring right at him. I looked at the kid behind me and gave him a smile. "Run along now, if he ever bothers you. Ever. I'm not far. Just search for me and inform me and..." I looked at Bryce with a cold stare. "...I'll deal with the rest."
He nodded and smiled at me. "Thank you, Dylan." He said, picked up his bag and ran away.
I looked at Bruce who was angry as fuck but could say nothing. "If you wanna wage war with me then fine. But, its your loss." I said and walked past them and back to Jaxton.
"Wow, I really was scared for him." Jax said, he was holding his cheek. "I felt that."
"Well, he deserved it." I said as I walked past him.
"Those scumbags really did." He said and followed me.
"They deserve to be burnt alive." I angrily said while walking.
"Yo." A voice called, I stopped on my heels and looked to my left and Zach was walking towards me.
I sighed and rolled my eyes. "Hell no." I continued walking.
"Wait!" He said and I stopped with another sigh, turning to him.
"What? If you're gonna say something irrelevant then please....shove it up your ass."
He snorted. "I'm not here because I want to, the sight of you makes me want to puke most if the time so trust me, I don't wanna talk to you."
I gave him a straight face. "Keep talking, I like being reminded that dogs can transform into humans."
"Its funny how you help people you don't know out but you can't even help the one person that needs it the most."
I frowned.
"What are you talking about?" Jax asked.
"Yeah, spill it out Zacharias." I said and folded my arms.
"You spoken to Raven today?"
"Yes. She's my best friend remember?"
He smirked. "And yet you couldn't tell she was in crisis."
My frown deepened, I looked at Jaxton who was also frowning and back at Zach. "What do you mean in crisis, stop talking like you're in some Lord Of The Rings scene." I was becoming curious and worried.
"This morning, while I was at her house. I noticed some bruises on her neck."
"W-What?" My voice came out soft.
"Bruises?" Jaxton asked again.
He nodded. "She lied to me that it was some stupid kinky sex she had with a guy and he choked her up."
My brow rose. "Of course it is," I sarcastically said and rolled my eyes.
He said nothing.
I frowned. "Don't tell me you believed that."
"I didn't." He deadpanned.
"Good. We never can tell." I shrugged.
He scowled.
I smirked.
"What I'm saying is, she needs help. She lied to me and when I asked if someone was abusing her she told me to get out of her house."
"That's why she wore a turtleneck. Fuck." I pushed my hair back, finally realizing it.
"Exactly."
"I knew something was wrong," I sighed. "I asked her and she lied about it."
"Well she does need help, your help. If she ain't gonna take it from me then give it to her then. She's broken right now, you should have seen her crying last night and-"
"Last night?" My brows knitted.
"Um, I mean..."
"You were at her place, last night?"
"Y-Yeah, she t-threw a little party." He shrugged.
I blinked. "Raven? She threw a party and we didn't know?" I pointed at Jax and I.
He shrugged. "I dunno."
"It was just some meeting party stuff for higher class. Just like how Jax does his lgbt thing."
"Oh," he mouthed. "So...we're lower class?"
He smirked. "You said it yourself, not me."
"But-"
"Listen, Dylan." He cut in. "Help her."
I was silent for a little while and nodded. "Okay, I will. Thank you."
"Just doing my job as a friend, don't think you can talk to me in the halls when you see me."
I snorted. "If we were the last two people on earth and we needed each other to survive, I'd die without a second thought just to show how much I care about you. I cant stand you." I said and walked past him, not allowing him to say anything else.
"W-What do we do?" Jaxton asked as I walked angrily.
"We're gonna speak to Raven and she's gonna fucking tell me why she's keeping such a thing from us and why she lied to us." I said, increasing my speed. "So help me, if anyone is abusing her I'm gonna end them so fast they'd need six heart transplants to survive."
I walked into those doors of Eastwood again, searching for a certain red head.
"Heewy woah!" Jon frowned. "That expression does not look good to approach, what's wrong?"
"Have you seen Raven?"
"Uh..check the auditorium."
"Thanks." I said as I kept walking, Jaxton running a little beside me to catch up with me.
I pushed the doors of the auditorium open and walked straight in, the cheerleaders were training. Raven didn't change into her cheer leading uniform and that proved Zach right.
She turned to us and smiled, she said something to the girls and walked towards us.
"What's up, boys?"
"Nothing," I faked a smile. "Just came to search for you."
"Um, okay? What's wrong?"
"It's just...I do like your...outfit. The turtleneck mostly,"
"Um, thanks."
"Yeah, it looks like the perfect thing to hide stuffs like....hickeys and injuries and...bruises."
She gulped, she looked tensed.
"Uh, sure but I...I don't understand what you're-"
I didn't let her finish and pulled the top of the turtleneck down enough to view her neck and Zach was right, my jaw dropped.
"Oh my God."
"What the fuck, Dylan!" She snapped and pulled it back up.
I blinked. "You do have bruises. What the fuck? Raven. What's going on?"
She shook her head. "N-"
"Do not fucking tell me it's nothing." I snarled. "Who is hitting you? Someone did this to you and..."
"Dylan!" She yelled. "Its nothing!"
"Bullshit!! I'm not some random stupid ass being that you can lie to, okay? You should be smart enough to know that."
"Mind. Your. Fucking business."
"He's just trying to help, Raven. No need to act that way, we're obviously worried about you." Jax said, walking and standing beside me.
"I'm fine. It was just.."
"Some kinky shit? That it?"
She swallowed. "I have some cheerios to get back to so you both learn how to start up your own business and mind it. Leave mine for me."
"Raven, listen-"
"I'll talk to you boys later, I've got better things to deal with. No ones abusing me so stop imagining shit." She said and twirled walking away.
I said nothing as I watched her leave.
"What do we do now?"
"I don't know," I sighed as I looked at Jax. "She's obviously not gonna tell us and I have no idea who the fuck did that to Raven. No wonder she seemed off today, there's obviously something she's not telling us." I said while staring at her.
"Any suspicions?"
I shrugged. "Could it be her dad or her brother or....I'm out of ideas. But there has to be a reason she's n-"
"We're not doing anything, okay. Let's call it off."
"I'm serious, Dylan. Let it be, throw the plan into the trashcan."
"It's my life, isn't it? Then what I say, stands. Let it be."
My mouth hanged open.
"Oh. My. God."
"What? What?" Jaxton asked.
It had just hit me now, Raven didn't want me to continue because Johnathan threatened her.
"It's not her father or her brother," I said and looked at Jax. "It's Johnathan fucking smith!"
"No."
"Yes! Fuck me! How did I not realize that!"
"A-Are you sure?"
I chuckled. "I know him so well, he did this. This is the kind of thing he'd do to stop Raven and I."
"Raven and....you?" He asked, confused.
"I'll explain later. Right now, we need to kick that shithead and beat the shit out of his empty brain. Fuck! Someone's gonna get his limbs torn off!" I said angrily and stormed out of the auditorium.
"You need to chill, Dylan." Jaxton said from behind. "We need to be careful, we all know Johnathan's smart and we need to be cautious, he's got the brains of more than a dozen."
I scoffed. "I can handle him! And I'll just put this to an end once and for all."
"Dylan, listen.."
"He hurt her. He hurt Raven and I know anyone would drop her so fast, but she was once our friend and this things stay. If you let him be then he will continue."
Jax grabbed my hand and twirled me. "We can't just take him out, I hate him so fucking much but bitch slapping him won't fix things."
"You're right, hitting him with a bat till he dies would."
"He assaulted her. The one thing we need to do is report to someone who can help us take him down."
I sighed, running a hand through my hair, and then it hit me.
"Well, I may know one fucking person we can tell."
Jaxton smiled. "Good." He said and let go off my arm.
I began walking. "And he's gonna have to say yes."

I walked towards the boy with a straight face , his back turned towards me. "Zach."
"And I thought we were going to principal Evans." Jax frowned.
Zach sighed and turned. "What did I say about approaching me in the halls?" He said, giving me a bored look.
"We need your help."
Zach rolled his eyes. "Why would I even wanna help y-"
"You're not helping me, you're helping Raven." I stated and his face went from bored to all seriousness.
"What do you want me to do?"
