Chapter 64
Dylan's P.O.V
I just stared at the demon, his left brow was raised at me as he ate. A taunting smirk on his face as he chewed the hamburger in front of him. I hated those eyes of his. I hated every part of him, I didn't think I'd be seeing his face for a long time and here we are. We didn't connect at first sight and that was because the good kinda evil never goes well with the bad kind of evil.
Don't ask if there's such thing as good evil and bad evil cause there is!
I kept fantasizing of the many ways I could kill him, I'd grab a fork from the next table and stab him right in the throat.
I just want to stuff his face into a boiling oil and dive a knife into his head.
Pierce both eyes with toothpicks and also get him crippled, if I could just reach for both knives on both sides and stab his thighs.
Such joy, I'd get.
Or maybe, I could just make him choke on that hamburger while I prevent him from breathing and then he'd just die.
What If I just-
"What are you thinking about?" He asked as he chewed, looking up from his food and at me.
I smiled and shook my head. "Nothing, just how your death would do the world so much good."
He chuckled and took a sip of water from his glass. "You're really funny,"
I gave him a totally fake smile to back up his chuckle, this place holds so much memories of Henry and I.
"Why did you call me here? Why can't you get on with whatever you have to say? I mean, I don't want people thinking we're friends so go on and call me everything you want to while you've still got the chance."
He snickered. "Relax, why are you in a hurry?" He smirked. "We're expecting another guest," he looked at his watch. "He's late though."
I frowned. "Another guest? Who did you invite?"
He smirked and looked behind me. "Ah, he's here. Come join us!" He said signalling for whosoever to come over.
I turned and my eyes met a pair of green ones. No!
He stopped walking and once he saw me, he looked shocked to see me here and I was pretty sure the look on his face was the same with mine. He didn't move, he didn't look away, it seemed to be forever. He was putting on a black jean and a black shirt that was accompanied with a black hoodie. I finally tore my eyes away from him and looked back at Eric, I was mad.
"Why did you invite him here?"
"This involves the both of you, and plus Adam and Steve shouldn't be away from each other."
I rolled my eyes.
Henry took the seat beside me, I didn't spare him a look and just kept staring at Eric with a scowl. Now Eric wasn't the only one I was thinking of killing, Henry's hurtful words came back to my head and I had to shut my eyes and shove them away.
"Oh wow, not even a kiss? A hello? Nothing?" Eric asked with a big smile. "That's sad coming from Adam and Stevie or is it Steve?"
"Let's get this over with!" I deadpanned.
"Easy tiger," he smirked.
I sighed, I didn't like what sitting with Henry did to me. I was mad at him, yes. I was more hurt than angry and seeing him and having to sit next to me wasn't easy.
"Why'd you call me here?" Henry asked.
God, I did miss that voice.
But more importantly, I wanted to snatch out his throat so he would never speak again.
"First, why don't you guys order something? I'll pay." Eric beamed, sighing.
"Eric, let's get to the point. I'm not in the mood to get poisoned by you." I said.
Eric grinned. "I wouldn't dare."
Yeah, with that tone. Sure, I believe you.
"Prevention as they say is much better than cure." I said and cocked my brow at him.
He smiled widely and looked at Henry. "How about you? Fries? Chicken? Rice? I heard they have got the best smoothie here."
"I'm good." Henry said blankly. "What do you want? You've already got us here so speak."
"Us?" I chuckled. "Sure, cause you're the one who is trying to get him back to school." I said, a fixed smile on my face.
Henry didn't reply to me and our eyes didn't leave Eric.
Eric's expression became that of a mocking-sad one. "Aw, trouble in paradise, huh? Did I ruin something? Okay, how about you both make out right now like the bunch of fags you both are and let's see how far you can go?" He smiled.
"Fuck you! Don't. Call. Me. That." Henry snarled.
I couldn't help but laugh. "Why shouldn't he? I don't think there's anything wrong with that," I said, smiling at Eric before finally looking at him. "I mean, you didn't have trouble calling me that. It didn't hurt your tongue, in fact it was so sweet in your mouth when you spat that word at me not once, not twice but there fucking times." I said and looked back at Eric "Did you wanna know if it hurt? No," I shrugged. "You went ahead and now that he calls you a fag, you're getting mad?" I laughed. "How is that possible? Wasn't that your favorite word just yesterday?"
He finally looked at me. "Dylan-"
"I don't wanna hear it." I cut him off. "Whatever you wanna say, you can choke on it."
Eric looked pleased at what he was seeing, a big smile on his face as he watched the scene right in font of him. I wanted to slap that smile off his face so bad but then he's got something against me. Against us.
"Well, that was fun to watch. It's so cool that all it was to take was a photo to get you all wanting to legend of doom yourselves. If I knew that, shit, I'd have gotten the photo a long time ago but then I didn't know Mr. Henry was one of the gays."
"Let's get one thing straight, Voldemort." I leaned closer. "I don't give a shit if everyone knows I'm gay in Eastwood, hell I want them to know so fast," I chuckled. "So that I can make out with all the boys that I can in public."
"Then why are you here, hm?" He smirked. "Scared of your parents? That they might not love their sweet child?"
I gulped but remained composed. "I do not care who knows."
Eric laughed maniacally and hissed.
"Except your parents knowing about you being a cocksucker and that's my main goal, if your parents know then maybe you'd be cleansed and normal and go through the pain I want you to go through and public humiliation might not be your fear or your business but this guy right here," he pointed at Henry. "I feel his life will take a wrong turn, it's all gonna be different for him and I'm sure he can't take it all. You can't stop the wave boy."
I sank back into my seat, I looked down at Henry's hands which were on his lap, they were clenched. I looked away and back at Eric, even if I hated Henry, he was also my responsibility right now.
"You're going to get me back for the exams, i don't care what you have to do but you're gonna do it. A lot is at stake here," he smiled at me. "Your parents love will go down the drain, from a hundred to a zero point one," I gulped. He smirked and looked at Henry. "And you? Your bad boy reputation, I mean what would people think when the star quarterback player who is also the bad boy of Eastwood high, loved by many think, when they realize you are a fag who loves to fuck boys cause you're attracted to dicks?" He taunted. "That a white haired fag turned you gay and infected you? That Dylan here is a walking gay infectio-"
Eric didn't finish his sentence because Henry reached forward rapidly, his chair falling backwards at the sudden rush, making me flinch. He grabbed Eric by the collar really tight and pulled him closer, his eyes held no emotions. None that I could recognize, he could easily kill Eric now if he wanted, there was nothing there. Eric had really pissed him off.
Eric looked unfazed and just had a smirk on his face as Henry pulled him forward, gasps were heard and all eyes were at our table. I quickly stood up and held Henry's arm.
"Henry, let go. Whatever you're thinking, he's not worth it. Let him go. You're creating a scene!" I said trying to pull his hand away from Eric's collar. "Henry, fucking let go off him for God's sake. We are in public and I do not want to end up on a blog for fighting in a place like this so let him go and fucking control your fucking anger."
"Y-You should listen to your boytoy." Eric said with a grin even when he was being choked.
I looked at Eric angrily, "What did you say?"
Eric just smirked.
I could have let Henry finish him there, people were still watching and I wasn't gonna be an accomplice to murder or even a witness at the moment. Some waiters began coming our way.
"Henry!" I called again, louder this time. He looked at me and back at Eric, I felt his muscles soften and then he let go off him. I let out a deep breath and looked around with a smile.
"It's okay, nothing to see here. Just two boys about to murder each other, nothing you don't see everyday." I said with an awkward laugh and sat back down.
Eric coughed, trying to breathe. I looked at Henry with a frown, I guess Eric's words must have really gotten to him
"That wasn't necessary," I said and looked back at Eric who was drinking a full glass of water, I smiled. "Be careful with what you say."
Eric laughed. "Wow, typical Henry." He coughed. "Almost killed me, great performance."
I smiled.
"Like I said, you have till Sunday to do what you've gotta do."
"I'm trying! I've tried everything possible! I told you already, I'm doing everything I can but its not working!"
"Then try harder." He said coldly. "I don't give a shit what you do, if I don't write those exams I'm gonna make life for you both a living hell and I mean it. I have copies everywhere," he smirked wickedly. "For this act Henry put on, I've reduced your time by an hour and thirty minutes."
My eyes widen. "What? You can't do that!"
He smiled. "I just did."
"But...how am I supposed to-"
"I don't know, figure it out or your life ends."
This was bad. It was really bad. Thanks to Henry right here, the time limit was reduced, I felt choked up but remained calm.
"We're done here, you can leave." He said, waving us away. "Oh and Henry, don't ever try this stunt again, I mean it." He said angrily. "Get out."
I huffed and gave Eric a smile. "I should have let him finish you off in the locker room that very day, we both know you didn't stand a chance against him." I said and stood up before walking away and out the door.
(Play music now! Listen to me)
Once I was out, I couldn't help but let breathe out heavily while walking extremely fast. I wanted to get home fast. I needed by bed. I needed my grandma Athena.
"Dyl! Dyl!" I heard Henry call but I just kept walking, faster this time. I didn't want to look at him.
"Hey," A hand held my arm and twirled me, I quickly pulled it back and glared at him.
"Don't you dare touch me!"
"Dyl, I just-"
"Just leave me alone! Leave me alone! This is all your fault! It's all yours. I'm in the mess because of you! So fucking stay away." I lost my voice at a point cause the sadness choked me, the tears always seemed to trust Henry so much to fall right in front of him.
I turned and continued my walk, wiping off the stupid tears that betrayed me every time Henry was around. I ignored his calls again and took a left, walking down the dark alley.
I sniffed as my walk speed increased, I was instantly shoved against the wall. Hands raised and held by stronger arms, my eyes widen in shock as I looked at the male in front of me.
"Please talk to me." Henry said softly.
"Let me go." I demanded.
"No," he said firmly.
"Henry!"
"I'm sorry, I-I didn't mean those words. I just panicked and I-"
"Don't care! I don't give a shit! Let go off me, Henry. You don't need to worry, I'll fix it and you'll have your perfect life back so don't you worry about it."
"Dylan, I don't-"
"Henry! Let me go." I glared.
He let go off my hands.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to say those words to you. I didn't mean to call you a fag-"
I slapped him really hard, his face swung to the left.
"You don't get to apologize after the damage has been done, you don't need to take it back. Eric was right, you both are. I am really a walking gay infection, I mean I infected you." I laughed. "Can you believe such nonsense?"
"You. Are. Not. That. Okay, Eric was wrong! He was totally wrong?" He growled. "And I was wrong too, I didn't mean to say such, I'm s-"
I slapped him again, I was breathing hard cause of how bad I wanted to cry.
"Don't apologize." I said in a low tone, my voice breaking.
He looked back at me. "Dyl, I'm-"
I slapped him again.
"No,"
"I'm s-"
Slapped.
"I'm sor-"
Slapped.
He quickly grabbed my hands and moved me backwards, I took a step back and my back touched the wall again.
"Stop slapping me and hear me out!"
I shook my head as I shut my eyes while the tears fell. "There's nothing to hear! I don't like you. You're an arrogant asshole that deserves a death sentence."
"Dyl." He called firmly. "Please, listen to me. I am really sorry for what I said, please."
I opened my eyes and looked at him. "I don't forgive you. I can't. I won't. You hurt me, I don't know why it stung so bad when you said what I've heard before but it did. It hurt, you were cruel. I don't accept your apology. I don't forgive you! I don't." I said softly, his expression was of that I had never seen on his face before, he quickly built a wall over it. "I don't forgive you." I repeated. "Just let me go, Henry. I don't want to talk to you anymore, let me go." I said in a really calm, tired tone.
He shook his head. "I don't want to."
"We're back to square one, enemies." I smiled.
"I don't wanna go back to square one."
I chuckled bitterly. "Too late for that, don't you think?" I arched my brow at him.
He looked down and back at me. "But-"
"Leave me be. Now. I don't like you, I never did. You're annoying, even if you were gay I wouldn't go for you cause you are not my type. You're a jerk, I mean, even if we were the last two people on earth, I wouldn't date you!" My heart beat increased.
Something inside me wasn't backing up my statement like it wasn't true.
He swallowed and nodded before letting go off my hands.
I gave him one last look, "Goodnight, Henry." I said and walked away, once he wasn't standing in front of me, the stupid tears fell and I increased my speed.
***
I walked into the house tiredly, I quickly fixed a big smile on my face as I made my way to the living room. They were all watching a movie, my parents, grandparents and Jaxton all had big smiles on their faces as their eyes were fixed on the screen, I looked at the screen, I recognized it once I saw Jenifer Lopez in it. 'Monster in-law'.
"Hey guys."
They all looked at me and all chanted their Hello's, mom was resting her head on dad's laps, grandma had her head placed on grandpa Felix's shoulder while Jax sat in the middle of the couples holding a really big bowl of popcorn.
"Hey," he waved smiling.
"Wanna join us? You're just thirty seven minutes late." Mom said with a smile. "You'd still understand the movie."
I shook my head. "Nah, I'm...I'm really tired. I'll just go rest, the store line was long."
I need to leave now.
"You sure, honey? The movie's really cool." Mom said with a smile. "I'm ninety nine percent sure you'd love it."
I shrugged. "Seen it twice already,"
"Well, that sucks." Dad said making half of them laugh.
"If you're hungry, I could come serve you dinner!" Mom said, I shook my head.
"I'll eat later." I said and walked up the stairs and into my room real quick. It wasn't up to eleven seconds that I was in, someone else came in.
"Dylan, I had to come up and pretend to take the painki-
I turned and faced my Grandma, I started breathing real fast as my heart pounded inside my chest while the tears threatened to fall.
"What's wrong?" She asked once she saw my panicked expression, looking worried already.
"It hurts! My chest hurts. It hurts so bad, grandma. I swear I don't like Henry, I don't. B-But why doesn't it agree with me fully? It hurts here when I see him, I don't know why!" I pointed at my chest where my heart is, I couldn't stop crying. I couldn't help it, I wanted the pain to stop. I didn't like it. "His words hurt me so bad and I should hate him for every word he said, everything about him hurts."
Grandma Athena looked at me with pity. "Oh, Dylan."
I shook my head. "I hate it. Please make it stop!" I cried as I sat on the floor. "I hate him so much, grandma. I do, but why do I still fucking care about what happens to him? Why doesn't this stupid heart cooperate with me? Why? Why? It hurts, please how do I stop it."
"Oh, darling." She walked over to me and knelt beside me pulling me in for a hug while I couldn't hold back the waves inside that spilled slowly down my eyes.
"You poor thing," she stroked my hair. "You can't stop it, no one can. You don't even know what's happening to you." She sighed and kissed my head. "It's gonna be okay, I promise." She assured me.
***
It's Saturday,
I'm running out of time and I don't know what to do next, I didn't have any idea on how to bring Eric back.....except one.
"Hey," Jaxton walked up to me in the kitchen, I was putting on a blue short and black top while sitting on the counter and texting Raven.
I smiled at him. "Hey,"
"You okay?"
I nodded. "I'm good,"
"Your grandmom told me you went to see Eric." He said as he sat next to me.
I nodded. "Yeah, bad night."
He nodded. "Figured. What's he say?"
I sighed. "I have till tomorrow, one hour and thirty minutes has been cut off from the time because of Henry being a douche and trying to choke Eric to death and not in a kinky way actually."
"He does deserve to be choked to death."
I nodded. "I know, he's escaped Henry's killer hands twice now. I had to try and stop Henry cause we are the puppets here." I smiled.
"Why was Henry there?"
I arched my brow at him. "Puppets? Picture? Two teenage boys kissing? Locker room? Ring a bell? Geez, you need to catch up real quick."
Jaxton gasped and punched my arm lightly. "You didn't just indirectly call me stupid."
I chuckled. "Ah, smarty pants."
"Fuck you!"
I arched my brow at him. "I mean you're cute and all but I don't think two bottoms would work out."
His jaw dropped. "Oh my God. Dylan, you need cleansing." He said and laughed, I laughed as well.
"Wanna go for a walk?" I suggested.
Jax sighed. "Yes please! I need to also clear my head."
"Hmm," I got down from the counter before Jaxton did. "Mom! Jax and I are going for a walk!" I shouted as we passed the stairs, hoping she heard. It was past two and mom hasn't even come down, grandma has been taking care or her like she was a pregnant teenager again.
"Okay! Be back early! WATCH THE ROAD BEFORE YOU CROSS AND REMEMBER! WEREWOLVES EXIST!" She yelled back.
I looked at Jaxton with knitted brows and a 'what the fuck' expression.
"Pregnancy." He said and did the crazy signal with his finger against his head while he rolled it in circles.
I laughed. "Oh my God."
I'm not gonna get used to this, new ones everyday.
We both laughed as we made our way out, waving to grandpa Felix who was watching hockey on TV in he living room before we walked out the door.
"So, what's up? You said you needed to clear your head." I said as we walked.
"So, I told my mom to prove herself after taking your mom's advice and she's been calling more than she does to check up on me and still begs me to come home."
"Okay, I don't wanna sound like I hate your mom."
His brows knitted. "You hate my mom."
"I know, I'd give her to Lucifer in exchange for a box of matches." I stated.
Jax scoffed.
"Anyways as I saying, she's gonna need to do better so you're gonna have to-"
"Oh, your grandma already told me what to do."
I grinned. Evil. "She did? Tell me what she suggested."
"To invite her for dinner tonight."
My smile faded. "Grandpa Felix or Grandma Athena?"
"Your grandma Athena, why?"
"She suggested something that nice? Are you sure it's not grandpa Felix in a wig?"
He smacked my arm. "Behave."
"I'm just wondering, why would she ask you to invite your mom?" Wait, unless she's gonna put her to test. Oh my, she's gonna play the 'guilt game'. Of course. I smiled. "That's actually a great idea. Yeah, let her come." I nodded.
"You think?"
I nodded. "Absolutely." I smirked.
***
Jaxton and I decided to get some smoothies and that we did, we went to the one place with the best smoothies.
H. O. E.
Always serves you the best, just the way you like it.
We both sat on a booth while we waited for one of the waiters to come take our orders but none was approaching our table.
"Okay, so I'm starting to hate this place. First Eric brought me here and now this."
"They'll come."
"Well, I don't have that patience." I said and stood up, I told Jaxton to wait as I made my way towards the counter. "Is anyone gonna freaking answer us?" I said angrily to the lady.
"Excuse me?" Her brows knitted.
"When this place had no much workers, they served faster than now that they've got more waiters. How is that even possible? My friend and I have been sitting there and waiting for your asses to attend to us but no, you want me to bring this place down and if you guys don't answer us I swear to the creator that I will burn y'all alive!" I threatened. Her eyes widen and I could see the blood drain from her face, I smiled. "Now, one raspberry and one vanilla. Thank you."
She nodded. "R-Right. In a minute."
I smiled.
Now that might have been uncalled for, and I knew I was transferring the anger I was feeling inside and plus we had been sitting for over twenty minutes and had not been attended to, so I guess it kinda worked.
There was so much anger in me and I had blown that in front of her.
"That was hot,"
I recognized that voice, I looked to my left and there stood Johnathan in a suit, all smiley.
I sighed in disappointment.
"What the fuck are you doing here?"
"I came for a smoothie, isn't that why people are here?" He asked with a smile.
I rolled my eyes at him and decided to ignore him.
"We'll be over there." I said to the lady as I turned to go but of course, Lucifer had other plans.
"How have you been?"
I stopped and slowly turned. "What do you want, Johnathan? Seriously? Aren't you tired of following me"
He chuckled. "Don't be silly,"
I arched my brow at him. "Wait, did you— follow me here?"
Johnathan smiled for what seemed to take forever before answering. "No, I didn't even know you were gonna be here. We could call it fate."
"More like curse." I said, turning to go again.
"You seem to be doing well."
I stopped walking and turned to him. "I'm sorry to disappoint but I'm not dead yet. I'd let you take the front seat during my funeral but we all know you're gonna die first."
He just smiled. "You were always a fighter,"
"Still am."
"Exactly what I like about you."
"What is it you want, Johnathan? What?"
He smirked. "I just wanna see you happy, before it all drains."
"You're delusional."
"You can't escape this."
"Can you quit it with your stupid storm? If you're not gonna tell me then stop bugging me with it! I don't know what you have planned but you better leave my friends alone."
"How's your boytoy?" He asked, tilting his head to the side.
I glared. "I told you never to call him that."
He shrugged. "That's what he is, so why not call him that? You didn't speak to him at school yesterday."
I folded my arms and took a step towards him. "Oh, so now you're watching me?"
He laughed. "That sense of humor."
"....that you would never have." I added.
He smiled. "People say I'm crazy."
"Well tell me something that I don't know."
"When you make an enemy, they also see you as their enemy. It becomes mutual at a point." He shrugged. "When you want to kill a demon, don't just injure it. Finish what you were supposed to finish, cause it just might come back for you. Stronger."
"What are you getting at?"
"I always did envy your friendship with that red haired and that cute boy, Jaxton. There set of different people," he smirked. "Your kinda friends are the kind that makes you strong, they are like the sky that holds the moon and I'm glad that you do have them. I'm starting to think I need friends now, blonde isn't my thing but I've got no choice now." He shrugged. "It's only a matter of time before everyone leaves you and stand by my side and then," he grinned. "You'll also come to me but don't be worried, I'd always make you my right hand."
"Go to hell, Johnathan." I said, hating him the more as he stood here. "I'm really being serious right now, go to hell."
"Just know all of this is because of you." Johnathan smiled.
"What?"
He chuckled and took whatever he ordered from a guy who stood next to the cashier and handed him some money before looking back at me. "The most destructive kind of demons are the ones who aren't in hell, if I go there then how do I get my army?" He asked with a wicked smirk and an arched brow. He looked at the waiter and smiled. "Keep the change, I'm celebrating." He said and flashed me that same smile. "Goodbye, Dylan." He said and walked away.
I just stared at him as he walked out, what did he mean? There was always a clue in whatever mysterious words Johnathan spoke. What was he getting at? He didn't seem a bit offended and seemed to have a great plan.
I blinked and looked at the cashier lady. "Well? Get my smoothie!" I said and made my way back to Jax.
Jax frowned at me once he saw my expression. "Why do you look like you're not sure if to be sad or happy about someone's death?"
I looked at him. "I just spoke to Johnathan, he came in here."
"Oh my God. Are you okay?!" Jax's eyes widen. "Shit. I was so into my phone, I didn't know. I'm so sorry."
"It's okay."
"So now he's stalking you?"
"Said he wasn't."
"Seriously, that guy needs to have his lungs plugged out." He said angrily. "I mean-" and he continued speaking but I just zoned out.
I was busy thinking about what Johnathan said, what did he mean? What was he getting at?
He said- The most destructive kind of demons are the ones that aren't in hell.
The storm...
Friends...
Titans...
What exactly did that even mean? Why did he keep mentioning that?
What exactly was he telling me?
Titans...
Titans...
Ti-
Then it hit me.
My eyes bulged out as I slammed my hands on the table once I figured it out, making Jaxton flinch and the waiter who brought our smoothies.
"Jesus, w-what's wrong?" Jax asked.
"I figured it out. I fucking figured it out!" I said out loud. "Oh my God, I am so stupid for not figuring this out faster'l
"F-Figured what out? Dylan, figured what out?" Jax questioned.
"The riddle! The stupid words Johnathan has been saying, I finally understand. Oh God," my eyes widen, he is so tricky. He's really smart.
He instantly looked interested. "Well, what is it?"
"Call Zach and Jon and tell them to meet us at the usual spot." I instructed, Jax nodded. "Text Raven too." I added.
If my theory was right then we were in bigger trouble, worse than we were in now.
Or maybe it was just me.
I dashed out with Jaxton as we began making our way to where we met with the others.
***
Jax and I waited inside the coffee shop for the boys and Raven to arrive, Jon came in first and seconds later Zach did.
"What's up?" Jon asked. "What was that urgent?" He asked as he took a seat.
"Yeah, Jax's text sounded really urgent. He said there's a fire, hurry and we should meet you guys here." Zach said with a frown.
I looked at Jax and arched my brows at him. "Fire? Really?"
"They got here fast, didn't they?" He shrugged.
"So what's the news?" Zach asked as he sat.
"Wait, we're expecting one more person." I said.
Both boys frowned and exchanged looks. "Who?"
"R-"
At that moment, the bell jingled and we all looked to see a certain redhead on a short black skirt and a red top, high knee boots and a black bag in one hand. All eyes were on her, she was standing at the entrance like she was having a photoshoot and took off her sunglasses like the perfect lady she is. A smirk on her face, it seemed like she was in a commercial.
"Wow," Jax breathed.
"I know right," Jon said, eyes still on her.
"Grand entrance." I said softly as I shook my head.
Raven spotted me and smiled as she made her way towards our table but when her eyes landed on Zach and Jon, that smile disappeared and turned to disgust.
Uh oh.
"Why are they here?" She asked as she stood in front of our table.
"Raven, can you just sit d-"
"I can't believe you're still talking to the asshole that sided with Johnathan. This douchebag," she pointed at Jon. "Needs to be struck by lightening and not to be Barry Allen but to get roasted alive,"
I sighed. "Raven-"
"I mean I'd watch him get burnt alive while eating a popcorn and I wanna be the one to set him on fire cause he deserves it for his betrayal and for being...well, Jon. People like him never change."
"Raven! That's enough. Sit down."
She looked away from him and at Zach, something clouded her pissed expression. "What is he doing here?"
Zach looked away from her like with an angry expression.
I sighed. "Sit and I'll explain."
"Fine, you have ten seconds to explain to me why these people are here or there will be two dead bodies before midnight." She said in a tone that no one could tell if she was bluffing or not.
Jax sighed and stood up. "Sit here, I'll go get another chair." He said and walked away,
Raven sat on Jax's chair and seconds later, Jax came back with another chair.
I looked at Raven. "Remember when I told you there were some people who were fighting for you?"
She nodded. "Yeah, you didn't tell me who."
"Well now I'm showing you." I said while looking at her.
Her brows knitted in confusion. "What do you-" she paused and looked at everyone. "They know?" Her voice came out low.
I nodded. "Yes, and we've been trying to get you the justice you deserve since day one."
She swallowed and looked at me. "You told them?"
"Zach already knew something was wrong and approached me, he wanted to know how you were. He knew something was wrong and thought someone in your family did that to you and we all did, until it hit me that it was indeed Johnathan and we thought maybe we could help." I said.
"That's why Zach punched Johnathan at the cafeteria the other time, he knew about what he did to you in the bathroom." She slowly looked away from me and at him, swallowing. "And that's why Jon's been acting like he's a friend of Johnathan. We need information from the inside and only one person can get us that, Jon was once popular and hasn't been friends with me like you both have so Johnathan won't suspect him. That's why you saw Jon with Johnathan the other time, he was doing this for you. We've been fighting for you and now we need you in our team, we need you to know about this."
Her expression softened, she gulped and looked down at her eyes and I knew she was trying not to cry. "Wow," she breathed. "No one has ever done this kinda shit for me, put their lives on the line just for me." She said, looking at everyone of us, her eyes red.
"We care about you, Raven. More than you know and you might try to hide all of these from us and even try to push us away but we'll keep coming back." Jax assured her.
"You might hate me," Jon spoke. "I can't forgive myself for what I did to Dylan and probably never will but I'm trying to change. I pushed him and yet he made me his friend, that's one crazy shit but I'm glad that I'm his friend and I owe him a lot and if he or anyone of his friends is in trouble, I'm not gonna think twice and help." He said with a smile. "You might not believe me and still think I'm a wolf in sheep clothing,"
"I do think that." She nodded.
"But, I'm a better person and one needs to show that they are and not just say it and that's what I'm doing."
I smiled and looked at Jaxton, letting him know that this also goes for his mother, he smiled a little at me.
Raven smiled at him. "I have been a bitch to you and I honestly didn't think you'd be one of the people to help me cause I thought you were a despicable asshole who has his mission and is one fucking dipshit who-"
"Raven, stick to the point." I patted her shoulder.
She nodded. "Yeah, sorry. Um," she looked back at him. "What I'm trying to say is I'm sorry, I was just looking out for my best friend and if Dylan has forgiven you and trust you then I do. I mean, you're fighting the devil for me, why can't I forgive you." She said softly, smiling at him.
Jon smiled widely. "Thank you."
"Okay, intervention time over." Zach cut in. "You called us here because?"
"Yeah, I've got a new info."
They all looked at me.
"I saw Johnathan today and he said some words to me, remember I told you that he said the storm is coming," the nodded. "I think I know what it is."
"Then tell us," Raven said.
"He's been mentioning the titans, he said to me that he envies Raven and Jax cause our friendship and needs new friends but he's already got them. Zach said he didn't think he was working alone and he's not."
"How'd you know?" Jax asked.
"Johnathan said the storm was coming in full force, when I went to see Eric last night-"
"Why did you go see Eric?" Raven frowned.
"Yeah, why that douche?" Zach asked.
"It's...nothing. As I was saying-"
"Oh God, he's threatening you, isn't he?" Jon said with knitted brows.
I went silent.
"He's got something against you, what does he want?"
"Can we go back to the main thing?"
They stayed silent.
"Thank you. As I was saying, when I went to see Eric last night he said something that only Johnathan calls this particular person to me. 'Boy toy'. He referred it to someone and only Johnathan has ever called that person that."
"I'm not understanding," Zach frowned.
"Eric wouldn't have been able to blackmail me if he didn't get into the school and think about it, there's only one person who helped him."
"Johnathan," Jaxton said softly.
I nodded. "Exactly, Johnathan had his suspicions of me and this particular person and he used Eric to get the truth and blackmail me with it. Eric wanted revenge and Johnathan is the mastermind of evil and recruited him. Johnathan said a huge storm is coming and Eric said that I can't stop he wave," I smiled. "They were talking about the same thing." Eric would never have known that Henry and I had something if someone didn't tell him. If Johnathan didn't tell him and that means he knew already, he figured it out. "Johnathan said 'when you make an enemy, they also see you as their enemy. It becomes mutual at a point," i paused, then continued. "When you want to kill a demon, don't just injure it. Finish what you were supposed to finish, cause it just might come back for you, stronger." I chuckled.
Zach sighed. "The fucktard was talking about Eric."
I nodded. "Ding."
"Asshole." Raven sighed.
"And now he's got Eric by his side, like it couldn't get any worse. Two evil minds." Jon complained.
"Three." I corrected.
They looked back at me with confused expressions.
"Three?" Zach's brow rose.
"What'd you mean three?" Raven asked.
"W-Who's the third?" Jax asked.
"Johnathan said he envied our friendship. He said my friends are the kind that makes me strong, he said he's starting to think he need friends." I stated, they kept staring at me, waiting for me to continue. "Johnathan said blonde isn't his thing but he's got no choice now. I registered everything in my head."
"What are you getting at?" Zach asked.
"Blonde. He didn't just mention that or neither was he talking about his hair color,"
"No." Raven said, finally understanding and praying it's not what it us.
I looked at her and nodded. "Yes, she's on his side too."
"Who?" Jax asked. "Who is....she?"
I looked at him. "Quinn." I announced. "Quinn's on his side too."
"Oh no. Goddamn it!" Jax groaned.
"That's why she hasn't said anything to you, that's why she hasn't come against you, Raven. She's been silent because she's been waiting, she's waiting for her cue to destroy, why'd you think you've got peace thorough out? They've been waiting. Johnathan said if he went to hell he wouldn't meet the demons he met, the most destructive kinds are the ones who aren't in hell." I said and cocked my brow. "What other demons do you know that create such havoc?"
"Fuck!" Jon ran his hand through his hair. "I hate that bitch!"
"Who doesn't," Raven said and rolled her eyes. "I can't believe it."
"The there demons of Eastwood high are now a team, awesome." Zach sarcastically said.
I nodded as I looked at Jax. "They are the titans he spoke about, and God knows what they have in stock for us."
"We should be scared." Jax said. "Lucifer, Medusa and Hades are a team now, the amount of destruction they can cause is scary. Three evil minds working as one, an earthquake is gonna happen in Eastwood."
"I don't like this," Jon sighed.
"None of us does," Zach said. "But we are not giving up now, right? They're three. We're five. We've also got our set of evil geniuses here and we're not gonna be scared." He said as he looked at me.
Raven looked at him.
I nodded. "He's right, we're not gonna give them the chance they want. We're not gonna be scared cause they're a team now. If they want war then we'll give it to them." I stated.
"Well if an earthquake is gonna have to happen in Eastwood then let it happen." Raven shrugged.
Jon sighed. "Well I guess we're all going to hell."
As much as I wanted to believe this and give them the hope they deserved. I didn't believe it.
I was worried....I was worried about my friends. I was worried about everyone on this table.
I knew what Johnathan was capable of,
He was smart.
He knew what he was doing.
Whatever plan they had now could ruin everyone of us. They didn't know him like I really did and I wasn't gonna get them worried.
The fact that the Titans turned out to be Johnathan, Eric and Quinn was the worst.
To be sincere,
We were doomed.
Author's Note:
Someone predicted this, I think it was frandzy who already knew whom the titans were gonna be many chapters ago even before I called them Titans. And that made me want to really slap the shit out of you for already knowing it. 😂😂 smartass. 😒
