Chapter 105
It had been three days since Grandma Athena showed up unexpectedly and since Henry and I got back together. Apparently, she wanted to surprise us only to see the whore from the underworld as she called her, in our house.
She had given Davina her own Greek name and Dad threw a fit once he googled it out of curiosity. Mom kept complaining about having another trouble in her hands and all Grandma Athena did was smile.
"I am not changing it, it is a beautiful name! Imagine the amount of good luck she'd bring." Grams had said while I grinned.
Nemesis.
That was her name.
Nemesis was the goddess of divine retribution and revenge, my favorite word. She would show her wrath to any human that would commit hubris. She was considered a remorseless goddess, she was actually my third favorite. The first was Athena, then Nyx and finally Nemesis. And the good thing was they were all in my family.
They argued about it but all Grandma Athena did was drink tea and stare.
I love her.
"So, Dominic is sort of going as a stripper." Jaxton said while I drank my cereal.
"Ooooh." I cooed, smirking. "I can't wait to see."
"And I still don't know what to wear." Jax groaned
"Why are you so bothered about what to wear? It's just a stupid Halloween party."
"No." Jaxton pointed a finger at me. "Raven's throwing the party and it's gonna be wild, big and if I wear a boring Halloween costume, I'm sure Raven will use that against me forever."
I sighed. "Fine. How about you just go as a sexy vampire?"
"Too cliche. Everyone goes as a vampire."
"What about a-"
"No, I'm not going as a zombie."
I huffed. "ooh, you could go as a-"
"No. No clown."
"Well, you don't wanna be extra and too simple, what am i to do?" I shrugged.
"What are you going to be?"
I shrugged. "I don't know, maybe a human transforming into a demon, that would be fun." I grinned. "But then, that wouldn't scare kids a lot, would it? No? I'll probably just dress as a dead body."
"So, a zombie."
"No, not a zombie, Frankenstein, I said a dead body which means throat slit, white contacts, rotten skin, you know that stuff." I shrugged. "I just wanna have a good time."
"By traumatizing kids?"
"See, you totally get me." I grinned.
Jaxton rolled his eyes. "You are something else."
I smiled and picked up my phone once it vibrated. "Ooh, I got a new assignment." I said as I began to type
Jaxton frowned. "What assignment? Is it school?" He sounded curious. "Oh my God, did i miss something?"
I groaned. "Oh God, Jaxton, it's not okay! Chill!"
He let out a sigh of relief. "Thank God! So, what is it?"
"Well," I began, looking away from my phone and at him. "It's a dark web shit."
Jaxton's frown deepened. "I'm sorry, did I hear you well? It felt like you said it's a dark web shit."
I nodded. "Yeah, that's what i said. It's a dark web shit."
"Are you insane?! Such shit isn't safe, you know that! Do you know the amount of people who die cause of that stuff?"
I blinked. "Oh, Detective Olson, please do tell me the amount of people who died."
"A-A lot, okay? A lot and that is a huge amount of number."
"Mmhmm, I'm so intrigued." I replied sarcastically and went back to typing.
"That shit is demonic." Jaxton stated and I turned to him, I stretched out my hand towards him with a smile.
"Hi, Dylan Lucifer, nice to meet you. Oh, you haven't heard of me?" I chuckled. "My biological father is the king of hell, yeah, yeah the one who got cast down from heaven, I know, beauty runs in the family." I said and winked.
Jaxton grimaced, rolling his eyes. "Dylan, I'm not joking. Get off that shit."
"Oh my God, Jaxton. Live a little." I replied, sighing.
"Everything okay?" Grandma Athena asked as she walked towards us, I quickly put my phone away.
"Oh, no." Jaxton turned to her. "Dylan here is ac-"
"-tually thinking of going as a possessed Peter pan this year, Jaxton doesn't agree." I finished up, cutting him off.
Jaxton shot me a look of disbelief while I beamed. "Right, Jaxton?" I smiled creepily at him.
"Right." He fake smiled.
"Well, that is enough to terrorize the entire children in this hell you call a town."
"See, grandma knows best." I sang.
Grandma Athena ran her hand through Jaxton's hair. "You want me to braid that for you because I am just bored."
Jaxton grinned. "Yes please."
"But first, Jaxton doesn't know what to be for Halloween and it is only two days away, what do we do, Nana?" I asked.
"Why can't he just go as a kitten? Isn't his boyfriend called Dom?" Nana asked and I gasped.
"Oh, I see what you did there."
"W-What did she do?" Jaxton asked.
"Oh, you sweet innocent child." Grandma Athena patted his back and walked away.
I giggled.
"What did she do?" He asked me and I sighed.
"Let's go to the mall and maybe we will find something before they run out of terrorizing stuffs." I smirked. "Why don't you go as a cop since your boyfriend is gonna be a stripper? That's a pornhub roleplay and then you can both do your stuff in one of Raven's room after you arrest and cuff him." I smirked wickedly.
Jaxton stared at me for the longest time. "You are so fucking weird."
I gasped. "I am not."
"You're scared of cockroaches but not scared of evil people, how is that even possible?" Jaxton questioned.
"That isn't weird, it's totally normal."
"Hey boys, I have to run to the store." Mom said as she walked towards us with a sigh.
"Oh, Bonnie," Jaxton called. "Please tell Dylan he's weird." He said, smiling at her.
"Of course, he's weird." She shrugged, like it was no big deal.
"Mom! I am not weird, I am unique."
She frowned. "You drink cereal,"
"Everybody does."
"In a plate." She finished, her brows furrowed.
"Nobody does that." Jaxton said, shaking his head at me. I looked down at my plate and blinked, biting my lower lip. "How do you even do that and enjoy it for the love of God?! I mean, who drinks cereal in a fucking plate?!" Jaxton questioned.
"I was gonna say something when I first saw you do that but I didn't want to make you feel bad but now I gotta ask, what the fuck is wrong with you?" He asked, tilting his head to the side.
"I-It's not weird, it's -juust...you know what? Never mind. I'm done arguing, come on, let's go." I said, taking my plate to the sink and dropping it in.
Mom chuckled. "I thought so."
"Anyways, Mrs. Dexwell, we'll be heading to the mall to get Jaxton a costume for Halloween." I said with a smile.
"Aren't you going? Raven called me and begged me, I'm not letting you stay home this year."
"Yeah, I was gonna go to her party for some hours and come home and spend the rest of the night with you guys."
"Dylan, thank you for thinking about us on the night of horror but you need to have fun. You need to be a teenager, you're only young once."
"Don't use that inspirational shit on me." I grimaced.
"You're right, it hurts my throat to even be nice, so here's what I'm gonna say." Mom said and smiled at her. "You are going to Raven's party and if I see you anywhere around this house or in this house then I will use your eyes for the cookies this year and I will sell your organs and make a face mask out of your skin." My jaw dropped. "Do I make myself clear? Good, bye boys." She said and walked away, heels clicking, not even waiting for a response.
"Dylan." Jaxton called softly.
"Hmm?"
"Your mother is scary."
I swallowed. "I know. I live with her."
Jax chuckled. "I am so excited for Halloween." He squealed.
I snickered. "Remember our first party and the dance off with Henry and that girl who danced salsa like a pro?"
Jax frowned, looking up as if trying to remember, then he gasped and looked back at me. "Oh, you mean when you tried to lift me up at Quinn's party and we both fell to the ground? Yeah, how could I forget."
I laughed. "Great times."
(You might wanna reread SEVEN MINUTES IN HEAVEN to understand, I made some changes.)
***
"Have you heard from Raven lately?" I asked as we left the mall with bags filled with our costumes and makeups.
"She's been busy, running around for her party. This party is gonna be the party of the year, I know it."
I chuckled. "It sure will, I can feel it."
"How's you and Henry though?"
I smiled. "We're good, he came over two days ago to see Grandma Athena."
"Aw," Jaxton grinned.
"And how's your boyfriend and his family?"
"They are all good."
"And your mom? Raven told me she barely comes home and you are always babysitting that precious being."
"My sister."
"Yeah her."
"Mom's been busy, I told you, she's working two jobs and she wouldn't let me get a job so i can reduce the burden on her." He sighed.
"Why wouldn't she? It's weird." I frowned.
"I guess so." He muttered. "oh look," he grinned. "It's Tristian."
I looked ahead and coming towards us was Christian and on his back was Tyler, both boys smiling.
"Hey," Christian smiled once they got to us.
"Hi." I replied.
"Hey guys." Jaxton grinned at them.
"Put me down, Christian." Tyler whispered, his cheeks red.
"Shut up, princess." He said and my eyes widen.
"Oh," I muttered, blinking severally. I looked at Jaxton and pinched him to get his attention, he flinched and moved aside.
"Oh, you don't worry Tyler, you don't need to be shy." I said, smiling at him.
"He got tired because he's short." Christian said, smiling, and Tyler gasped, he punched Christian on the shoulder, muttering words. That punch must have really hurt with his baby hands. Get what I did there? If you didn't, I'm not explaining.
"That is so cute." Jaxton grinned.
"You're both coming to Raven's party, right?" I inquired.
"Of course." Christian nodded. "It's the last Halloween for us as high school students."
"Oh yeah, I never really thought about it like that." I said, turning to Jaxton.
"You'll both be there, right?" Christian asked and we both nodded.
"It's Raven, she would kill us if we didn't." Jaxton said and I chuckled.
"We just got our costumes." I said, shaking the bags I was holding.
Christian nodded, smiling. "Awesome, we'll see you both there then."
"You sure will." Jaxton nodded.
"Oh and Jaxton, thank you for tutoring me two days ago." Tyler said with a smile.
Jaxton chuckled. "Of course, it was nothing."
"And Dylan, you look amazing with that black eye liner." Tyler complimented.
"I always liked you, kid." I winked at him.
Christian chortled. "Well, we better get going." He said. "Bye."
"Bye."
"See ya."
"Take care."
Jaxton and I watched them go, they looked so fucking cute.
"Tyler looks so happy." Jaxton smiled. "I'm so thankful that you set them up."
"Yeah, I know. I kinda miss when Christian had a crush on me."
"Dylan!"
"I'm just saying, if I had known, I would have slept with him and used the it was a mistake card." I shrugged. "Henry's the only guy I have slept with since i moved here, not that I'm complaining, I mean his dick makes up for the times I didn't have sex." I smirked. "I mean his dick is so fucking hu-"
"I don't wanna know anymore. I'm just happy for Tristian."
"Fifty bucks says they're trying out BDSM." I said, smirking.
Jaxton turned to me. "What? No. That's impossible. Look at Tyler, he's a cute bean, he wouldn't."
I chuckled. "Come on, Jaxton. Haven't you learnt anything? It's always the cute, silent, shy bottoms who end up being subs and they totally love it. I mean they are hesitant at first but they love being called words like...I don't know, princess and baby doll." I shrugged.
"T-That's a lie, you're just making stuff like that up."
I rolled my eyes. "Please, Jaxton. You know it's true, you don't think I know you and Dominic try the handcuffs and the fifty shades of grey stuff?" I asked and snorted before turning and walking ahead.
Jaxton was silent for a while before speaking, running after me. "W-Wait, what? T-That's not true."
"You sure? Because I have receipts." I said, smiling and walking ahead.
"H-How the fuck did y-you know?"
"Oh come on, Jaxton," I smiled at him. "I know everything."
"B-But,"
"I'm not judging."
"I-"
"I'm not judging." I repeated, shaking my head at him with a smile as we walked and then my phone vibrated in my pocket. I took it out and sighed once I saw the caller ID, it was mom.
I groaned. "We have only been gone for an hour and now I'm being called, I swear if she asks me to buy her shit, I'll burn someone alive." I said and answered, putting the phone against my ear. "Mom, I don't have any money to get you stu-"
"Dylan, you both need to come home." She said and I frowned at her tone.
"What?"
"Like right now."
I looked at Jaxton, a frown on my face. "Uh, o-okay, we're on our way." I said and hung up.
"What?" Jax asked, his brows knitted curiously.
"Mom want us home, like right now."
"Why?"
I shook my head. "I don't know, she j-just sounded off." I shrugged.
"It better not be something bad." Jaxton sighed.
"I think it's too late for that wish. "
***
"What is going on, you guys kept calling?" I asked as Jaxton and I both walked into the house twenty minutes later.
"Oh, thank God you're okay." Mom said as she ran to me.
"Uh, why the affection? What's wrong?"
"Dylan."
I looked behind mom and there stood Henry with a worried look, now i was worried.
"Henry, what's going on?" I asked.
"The news." He said, I exchanged looks with Jaxton and we both walked to the living room. Dad was home and everyone was focused on the television, I looked and there was a blonde woman, a newscaster going on about something.
"And today, the eighteen year old student from Eastwood high in San Diego, Johnathan Smith, who got arrested and got sentenced to forty years of imprisonment for rape, alleged rape, murder and violence escaped on his way to Blackwater prison with the help of a trusted citizen and a respected man who works for the police force, Detective Fisher."
My heart stopped.
"What the fuck?" Jaxton swallowed. .
"Oh fuck." I muttered.
"They are both currently being wanted and chased by the police and are to be reported if seen anywhere." She said and their pictures appeared on the screen. "Detective Fisher whose full name is Detective Armbrose Fisher had shot his partner in the chest and some other police officers while escaping with the notorious criminal, thankfully no one died."
"I knew we shouldn't have trusted that shithead!" Mom yelled, pacing around. "God, I was so worried."
"Bonnie, calm down." Dad said and took out his phone, answering a call. "I need to fucking understand how he was able to escape!" He yelled into the phone.
"Matthew, you calm down." Grandma Athena said, sighing. "This Johnathan kid has to go to hell for the love of God."
"What the hell was Detective Fisher thinking?!!" Jaxton exclaimed, he was just as confused as the rest of us.
"I came here as soon as I saw the news, it's on every station because this is really bad. Johnathan's like a serial killer on the news, from the eighties." Henry said, worry in his voice. "If he dares come close to you this time, I'm going to kill him."
"Well now there are two serial killers!" Mom yelled, sighing.
"Fuck! I knew it! I knew Johnathan had gotten into his head! I fucking knew it!" I cursed. "And now he helped Lucifer escape!"
"What do we do?" Jaxton asked.
"Right now, they could be leaving town." Henry said and came to stand beside me, placing both hands on my tensed shoulder. "Breathe, Dyl."
"I can't believe this is happening, I'm more worried for Fisher." I said and then my phone rang instantly, I took it out and answered. "This isn't the best time, I'll call you ba-"
"Dylan."
I froze at the voice. "De-"
"Shh, don't say my name. Please go somewhere private so we can talk." Detective Fisher said and I swallowed. I looked at Henry and faked a smile.
"I'll be right back." I said and walked to the kitchen real fast, I placed the phone against my ear again. "What in God's name are you doing?"
"I guess you've seen the news." He chuckled softly.
"Everyone has!! What are you doing? You are both fucking wanted! You are wanted! What the hell?" I whisper yelled.
"Listen, I couldn't just let the kid rot in jail for this."
"What the fuck do you mean?" I frowned. "What are you doing, Fisher?"
He sighed.
"Why? He fucking raped and almost raped people and he murdered two people! He only got fifty years, he'd be out when he's like sixty eight."
"Dylan, we both know he doesn't deserve this."
"We? He deserves worse. Hell, a fucking death sentence. You're a cop and—"
"You're not understanding me, this wasn't his fault. Johnathan is not mentally stable, you know that. His parents never gave him the treatment he needed, they never even cared, they didn't show him any form of love and that was why he got obsessed with you because you were the first to, even though he was a dick. He's going to go to jail for fifty years, he won't survive, Dylan. He might snap completely and kill more people, he might get a death sentence. All because of his parents." Detective Fisher said and I swallowed.
"I understand what you're saying but what about you? Think about yourself. You shot several police officers."
"I didn't kill any of them."
"And your partner?!"
"He was going to shoot Johnathan, I had no choice!"
"Oh really?" I sighed, running a hand through my hair. "You can just come back, Detective Fisher. You're like...so young and supercool and I actually do look up to you, please turn around." I pleaded. "Y-You need to get married and have kids, start a family, and you're throwing all that away, you're a promising...man. Why are you doing this? I know you want to help him but you need to think about yourself?"
He chuckled. "That doesn't sound like you, you know? The Dylan I got to know didn't care about himself, he didn't think before he did crazy stuffs, he wasn't scared of what happened to him as long as he was saving the people closest to him, whom he cared for, whom he loved. You fought a gangster, a guy twice your size for your best friend, you got Johnathan exposed for a girl who didn't trust you, you let everyone know what he almost did to you without caring about their opinions, you jumped in front of your boyfriend and took a bullet for him without thinking if you would die or not. You didn't care about what happened to you. You just do what you think is right as long as you are saving them. I learnt that from you, I am doing this because I want to save him."
"It's not the same. No one tried to rape anyone. I wouldn't risk my life for someone who tries to rake advantage of people." I was livid. "What if he goes on a rampage and kills people? He's unstable and you know it."
"He won't. That is why I am taking him with me, I'm going to get him the help he needs, I am going to get him a fresh start and bring him back."
"Then what? How are you going to do all of that with the cops on your tail. You're both wanted." I stated. "Everyone is looking for you."
He went silent for seconds. "We will keep running, I don't care."
"What about Gwen? What do I tell her?"
"Tell her I'm sorry, she probably is worried shitless and scared," he scoffed. "I am so crazy, aren't I?"
I nodded. "You are." I muttered.
"You know you were right?" He chuckled softly. "When we went to see Johnathan, you were right. I do feel something for him and I can't let the boy suffer. He's crazy but I mean he is the hot in psychotic." He chuckled.
"Don't laugh, it's not funny." I shook my head.
"This crazy kid is in my heart, boy. I can't leave him. He's trying to put himself together, he cried you know? A lot when he thought you were dead, I have gotten into his head, I have seen all the shit his parents did and I just can't let him suffer for what isn't entirely his fault."
"You are in love with him."
"Yeah. Stupid, isn't it?"
"You are so stupid. How could you do this? Run away with that criminal."
"Just, focus on your studies, don't accept failure in college, be a great lawyer, an amazing one and then...get me out of this mess. You're the only one I can trust."
I rose my head and clenched my fist as I stared into nothingness. "I'll find you both." I said, promising.
"Okay." He sighed, not reading my tone.
"Where is he? Johnathan."
"Asleep. He's right beside me."
"You are so stupid, Fisher. What are you gonna do?"!
"I'm uh, I'm leaving town. I can't say here and you won't be able to contact me, currently using a burner phone. Don't worry, I'm taking him far away from you, from this town. Do take care and don't let anyone know we spoke, okay?"
"I don't like this for you. He's manipulating you, he's got five stars in that. Detective Fisher, he'll drag you to hell."
He snickered. "Well hopefully we go to hell together. Goodbye, Dylan. You're a good kid."
"Fisher. Don't die. I wanna catch you both myself."
"I'll try. Don't waste time on being a great lawyer."
"I'll try."
And then the line went dead. "Fuck," I cursed and deleted the number. I walked back to my panicking family, my hands in my pocket.
"Hey," Henry walked to me. "Who was that?" He asked softly.
"Just Isabelle saying she saw the news." I lied.
"Come here." He pulled me into a hug, I wrapped my arms around him as he kissed my head. "It's gonna be okay, he won't come close to you."
"I know. I have you to protect me." I said and looked up at him, smiling. "I also have a bunch of knives to stab him with."
Henry smiled. "Cute."
"Yeah." I chuckled.
"I wonder what Fisher was thinking." Henry sighed.
"I hope they just go far away. Detective Fisher wouldn't let Johnathan hurt anyone."
"How would you know?" Henry asked, brows knitted.
"Just a feeling. I know him."
"Well, did you know he would do that? Escape with Johnathan on his way to real prison?"
"Not exactly."
"Ah, so you don't know him."
"Shut up." I chuckled.
"Are you kidding?" Jaxton said, frowning at us. "A-A psychopath just escaped and you're both here smiling and eye fucking each other?"
"Jaxton, we're not eye fucking each other!" I rolled my eyes at him, pulling away from Henry and walking towards him. "Everything will be fine, trust me." I whispered to him and just then a knock came on the door.
"I'll get it." Henry said and walked to it, he opened it and walked back to us seconds later. "Uh, visitors from the station?"
"Oh, let them in." Dad said and Henry did.
A black tall, slim woman with short hair dressed in a co-operate outfit walked in with two police officers and a man in a suit beside her.
She smiled. "Hi, I'm Detective Tegan Dale." She introduced, thrusting her hand out. "You must be the Dexwells?"
"Yes," Mom replied, shaking her hand. "I'm Bonnie Dexwell, that's my husband."
"Matthew," He shook her hands
"And our son,"
She looked at me, I fake smiled. "The Dylan Dexwell, you've been all over the news for months."
"What can I say? I was born to be famous." I shrugged.
"So, any news? Have they maybe been traced or caught or what?" Dad asked eagerly.
"They changed cars, that's what we know and we're doing our job and trying to catch them, we just wanted to check up on you guys and know if he has contacted any of you, has he?" She questioned.
"No, he wouldn't dare. He fucking betrayed us." Mom said, she was damn angry.
"I understand that, ma'am." Detective Tegan said and turned to me. "What about you?"
"What about me?" I asked.
"Have you been contacted?"
"If he has, don't you think my family would know?"
"Would they?"
"Do I have a reason to lie?" I shrugged.
"Dylan." Mom called in a warning tone.
Detective Tegan smiled. "It's okay, ma'am. Be rest assured, we will catch them. I will. I'm in charge of this case and I will make sure they get caught and be put behind bars. And Detective Fisher, well, he's no longer a Detective," she let out a small chuckle. "Armbrose Fisher will suffer the consequences for freeing and running with an dangerous criminal."
"Well I hope we can count on you and you don't go running along with them when you find those boys." Grandma Athena said, cutting in. "Because it seems everyone is running with everyone now, Jesus."
Detective Tegan chuckled. "Don't worry, ma'am. I never fail."
I swallowed, nervous for them. She did look tough, she did look like she knew some fighting techniques and wasn't going to sleep until they ended up behind bars again, she did look like she hated Detective Fisher.
"You hate him, don't you?" I questioned and she turned her gaze to me.
"I'm sorry, what?"
"Detective Fisher. You are holding a grudge."
"Dylan." Mom scolded again. "Ignore him."
"As a matter of fact, you are right." She smiled, answering truthfully. "Let's just say I knew he would fuck up sooner or later."
"Or you were just jealous that people knew him more than they knew you." I stated. "Is that it?"
"Dylan, that is enough." Dad said. "She's only trying to help."
Detective Tegan stared at me, a smile on her face. "If I didn't know better, I'd say you were somewhat protecting them, are you?"
"Then you don't know better," I smiled, shaking my head. "Please, I wouldn't protect someone who almost raped me and my best friend, I exposed him and so I want him behind bars like every other crimnal should be." I said, plainly. "As for Detective Fisher, I'm not going to say a thing against him just yet, until I know his reason for doing such. For betraying this family, for betraying me. So instead of being excited that you're going against someone you want to put down, how about you start with Johnathan's mother? The witch who flew away. After all, she's the reason why her son became a psychopath. Have you found her, yet?" I asked, cocking my head to the side and when I got to answer from her, I smiled. "I thought so."
"Dylan, that is no way to speak-"
"It's okay, Mrs. Dexwell." Detective Tegan said, smiling. "I understand you, kid. You got a smart mouth, I see why a lot of people like you and hate you. But let me tell you one thing, I won't rest until they are both dragged here and spend their entire lives in jail." She laughed. "Then you can question him behind bars and if I don't like Armbrose Fisher and have to handle this case, why shouldn't I celebrate?" She grinned. "I'll chase them to hell and back, no matter how many years it takes." She said and smiled at everyone of us. "Thank you for your time, have a nice day." she said and walked away.
I swallowed. She was a tough one who couldn't break. What have you done Detective Fisher?
"Dylan, what the hell?" Mom questioned. "Could you not be a demon for a minute?"
"What was all that? You were literally attacking her." Henry asked, his brows knitted in confusion.
"It's nothing. I was only trying to intimidate her and see if she was up to the task," I shrugged. "I'm gonna go take a nap," I said and spun around, walking away from them.
Oh, Detective Fisher. A powerful one is coming.
***
HALLOWEEN
"Have you heard anything from them? The cops? If they found him? Or from him?" Gwen asked.
Gwen was getting ready in my room, I had told her about her uncle and how he wanted to get Johnathan help, I never mentioned the love part though.
I shook my head. "No, he can't call me again or they'll find him." I replied.
She sighed. "I hope he's okay."
"He will be." I smiled. "He's Detective Fisher the great, after all."
Gwen smiled. "But then, the Detective Tegan."
"Yeah, she's a case." I nodded.
Gwen sighed and began rubbing on her red lipstick. "I hope she gets hit by a car."
"And stops breathing." I added, we both laughed.
"Okay, how do I look?" Gwen asked and turned to me, she looked hot and amazing. She was dressed as a vampire but like a vampire diaries kind, with the eye thing, she had blue contacts on and was dressed in black tight leather jumpsuit, a little blood on her chest.
She looked like a vampire that loved modeling.
"Nailed it!" I grinned. "Damn, you remind me of Caroline but mixed with Katherine Pierce."
She grinned, exposing her fangs. "Exactly what i was going for."
I chuckled.
"I love how evil you look, I am so glad I saw you put on that makeup or I'd have been scared shitless." She said and I chuckled.
I was dressed as Peter Pan like I had said earlier, I mean I always go as peter pan, but this year's peter pan got an upgrade. I had dyed a part of my hair black and the other was left white. I had a complete black contact lens in my left eye, like that of demons in the series supernatural, and my right eye had a red contact lens. My peter Pan's outfit was torn in some places and had fake blood on some part of it, I looked dead, like really pale. I had a scar on my neck making it look like my throat had been slit, it looked so fucking real.
I was a dead Peter Pan.
"You are so creepy."
"Aw, thank you." I said and picked up my phone from the bed. "Oh, I have several texts from Raven. This one says, how would you and Gwon like to be murdered? With an Axe or a chainsaw." I read out loud.
"Shit, she is mad." Gwen said and I nodded. "What time is it?"
"Just eight twenty." I said and turned to her. "Let's go downstairs before your boyfriend finishes the candies in my house." I said and she laughed.
Gwen and I walked down the stairs and to the kitchen were mom was, making Halloween cookies and arranging candies. Grandma Athena kept feeding Jon like he was her grandchild, he was also dressed like a vampire diaries character, he and Gwen were like the vampire version of Bonnie and Clyde or...well matrix.
"Oh, for the love of God!" Mom screamed once she saw me, clutching her chest. "Jesus."
I smiled. "No, not Jesus. Dylan."
"Child, look what you did to peter pan!" Grandma Athena exclaimed. "I almost had a heart attack."
"Thank you, Grams." I smiled.
"Wasn't a compli-nevernind. And Gwen, you look stunning. If I were a teenager and vampires were real, I'd let you turn me to one." Grandma Athena said and Gwen laughed.
"Thank you, ma'am."
"From what I remember, Peter Pan didn't look like the son of hell, what is that?" Mother asked.
"I am the god of fear. Came in the form of what children love and make them fear it." I smiled. "Cool, right?"
"Sort of."
"The black eye is linked to the dead, I'm part alive and part dead. The red eye reads your soul but whatever, people don't get it so i go with dream killer and I nailed the dead look." I smiled.
"You sure do look dead." Mom said. "Why didn't you sew your mouth shut? Could have just not talked."
I was tempted to say the F word but I would be really dead so I ignored her. "Do you think If kids saw me they would cry and forever be traumatized?"
"They will for sure need therapy, that I know." Mom huffed.
"So it's no longer killer clowns, we now have killer pan? Killer Peter Pan? Killer Pete? I'm out of names." Grandma Athena said, waving it off.
"That shit is scary, bro. Too extra." Jon said, staring at me. "Why not just go as I don't know, something not too...American horror story?"
"Because then I'd be ordinary." I shrugged.
"I raised the fucking Antichrist." Mom cursed. "Oh, it would have been so fun if Dylan dressed like this and stayed home and when kids ring the bell for candy, they see him and I can imagine the look on their faces." Mom said, laughing. I joined because it was funny, that would have been so cool.
"Ignore them, kids." Grandma said to Gwen and Jon. "They are both from hell."
Gwen chuckled. "Okay, let's go, Raven's been calling." She said, patting Jon's shoulder.
"Bye, loving, creepy family." Jon said as he stood up and we all began to head out.
"Have fun!" Mom shouted to our hearing.
"Oh," I paused once we got outside. "Uh, how about you both go ahead." I said with a smile. "I have to go to Jaxton's, I just forgot he asked me to bring an eye liner, so you both go and apologize to Raven for me. I'll be there in like twenty."
"You don't need a ride?" Gwen asked.
I shook my head. "Nah, just go."
"Alright, see you there." Jon said and winked at me. I smiled as I watched them get into Jon's Jeep and zoom off.
I sighed and took out my phone. "Now we begin."

Jaxton's P. O. V
Raven's party was the bomb, just as I had suspected. The house was full, she really went all out. Dim lights, her house was decorated with a lot of shits that screamed 'Halloween spirit' but in a rich kinda way. Her house sort of looked haunted but the kind of haunted house that everyone wanted to go to. I was impressed with her preparations, there was enough drinks for everyone, several kegs of beers, enough food and they were all different delicacies. The pounder of the music poured from the huge speakers, ng the house from it's very core. I was sure everyone on the streets wouldn't be able to sleep till four am.
In one room, some of the boys were playing video games, at the backyard, a lot of teenage monsters were having a drinking competition and playing pong or whatever it's called. Outside, on the front porch, several teenagers were making out and half of them were definitely gonna end up having an abortion or regretting what happened tomorrow morning.
I don't know how Raven did it but some of the drinks being served were glowing and I really wanted to know what was in it but totally didn't want to taste it. Everyone was having fun, girls were dancing seductively and some were desperately trying to get laid tonight.
"Hey, here you go." Dominic said from beside me and handed me a red cup filled with something.
"Thanks." I smiled. "What is it? Beer?"
Dominic shook his head. "No."
I took a sip of it and spat it back into the cup instantly, gagging afterwards. "Beer."
Dominic chuckled. "Sorry, this should be yours." He said and handed me the other cup.
I glared at him. "I hate you."
He smirked. "You couldn't."
My sexy boyfriend was getting a of of attention tonight because well, he was sexy and dressed like a stripper, he didn't even have all his body covered and I was dressed as cat boy. Yeah, I can't say cat woman but just imagine me in that black leather jumpsuit and a mask, oh and a tail, yeah.
I looked like I worked for pornhub but yeah, babe and I totally rocked it.
A light which I call the spotlight light went straight to the top of the stairs showing a girl whom I knew dressed in a whit long Olympian gown, she had gold necklaces, gold bangles, and had gold in her hair. She looked like some goddess who escaped Zeus and landed here by mistake.
"Oh, Raven." Dominic sighed.
"Shush. It's her party, leave her alone."
"She just changed her outfit." Dominic said and sipped from his cup. "It's a Halloween party not the met gala."
I elbowed him. "If she hears that, she'll cut off your tongue."
Dominic pouted. "Then how will we make out like crazy?"
I snickered. "You're crazy, Dom."
"We both are, babe."
"Please tell me the others are here." Raven said as she stood right in front of us, her hands on her hips.
"Well," I looked around. "No sign of Dylan, Jon or Gwen yet." I replied with a shrug.
"Seriously? What is keeping them so long? I called like ten minutes ago!" Raven sighed. "I swear to God, I will murder them once they show up." Raven muttered as she took out her phone and began go furiously text.
"Relax, I'm sure they'll be here any minute, they're just running a bit late, and don't forget today is a special day for the Dexwells, they eat candies made like eyes and watch horror movies like normal people." I said sarcastically, Dominic chuckled.
"All he's trying to say is breathe, they'll be here any second." Dominic assured her.
"I hope so." Raven groaned. "Enjoying the party so far?" She questioned and we both smiled.
"I'm happy I'm here." I replied.
"Hey, hey!" Zach appeared behind Raven, wrapping his arms around her waist which startled her a bit but when she knew it was Zach, she relaxed. He pecked her cheek and that made her smile a little.
Zachary Pratt was dressed as black Zeus, his outfit was kinda like Raven's, I mean they matches. He had a leaf crown, gold amulets, long sandals, a white cloth that covered everything from his waist below and hanged on one arm, a small rope around his waist that served as a belt and of course all the muscles were out on display.
"Why is my feisty redhead looking so mad?" Zach asked, resting his head on Raven's shoulder while she rolled her eyes.
Dominic leaned closer to me and whispered into my ear. "So, are they like finally dating? Is it official?" He asked, curiously.
I smiled. "Yes, yes it is."
"Oh wow, well cheers to that." He said and gently hit his cup against mine before drinking. I couldn't help but snicker, I shook my head and sipped from my cup as well.
"My other best friends aren't here yet and I'm so fucking furious I could set someone on fire!" She complained.
"Hey, Raven." A girl dressed as a mermaid called.
Raven turned to her and gave a fake smile that looked so real. "Hey, Candace."
"Great party! I'm having the time of my life." The girl, Candace said. "And you look totally amazing."
"Thank you so much, Candace. You look good too."
"This place looks like a place celebrities do hang out, I'm so psyched." The girl said and disappeared into the crowd.
Raven turned back to us, the smile completely washed off her face. Dominic threw his hand over my shoulder and kissed my head, I smiled at the affection and looked up at him, I signalled for him to come closer and with a smile he did and I kissed him.
"You are so sexy."
He wiggled his brows. "I know, people keep staring and wondering whom this guy is."
"Well, he's taken." I hissed. "You should have worn more clothes." I muttered
"They just have to deal with the fact that I am the boyfriend of the most smartest boy in that school of yours and the entire Eastwood, of course." Dominic said and kissed my nose.
"Too much credit." I grinned.
"You deserve it, it's all true." He shrugged, I giggled.
"You both are so cute." Zach said and we turned back to them, we had totally forgotten we had Zaven right in front of us.
"Hey." Henry approached us.
"Hey," Dominic replied, giving Henry a small wave.
"Uh, has anyone seen Dylan? I can't find him anywhere? Haven't him and he said he was gonna be here soon."
Henry Ashcroft, the king of Eastwood high was also an eye candy and had everyone staring at him even though he didn't have his abs out. He was dressed as a fucking cop and it made me think he was trying to play cop fuck with Dylan like Dylan had requested I do with Dominic.
I have a boyfriend doesn't mean I won't call a guy good looking when he is and Henry's clothes were right, muscles everywhere and boy I was happy because the boys were gonna have wild sex tonight and Dom and I would. I wonder what Dylan was gonna be dressed as, this was so cute.
"No, he's not here yet." Raven replied, snapping me out of my thoughts.
"Jon and Gwen haven't arrived either, I'm sure he's coming along." I told him, giving a small nod.
Henry nodded, not saying another word, he turned to Raven and gave a small smile. "Nice party."
"Thanks, I literally threw this party for your boyfriend and he's not here." She replied and began to murmur that had the words murder and smashing head in it.
"Hello, boys and...girl!" A familiar voice greeted from behind me, I turned the same time as Dominic, and walking towards us with smiles on their faces were two mystic falls vampires.
Jon and Gwen.
Damn, they made being a vampire look more cool. I should have dressed up as that, if only I had listened to Dylan.
"Well, it's about time!" Raven exclaimed, scoffing afterwards.
"I am so so so sorry." Gwen apologized as she walked over to Raven, giving her a hug. "The traffic was horrible, and you look stunning!"
"Thank you, but I'm still mad." Raven said. "And you look gorgeous as fuck." She said, a smile appearing on her face.
She wasn't mad.
"Hi, Olson." Jon pulled me into a hug.
I laughed, smacking his head playfully. "What took you so long, Kol Mikaelson?"
"Oh, I like that." Jon winked. "Wow, Dominic, you really went all out, everything is....on display."
Dominic smirked. "Boys are allowed to be slutty too, Stefan."
"I love this guy." Zach grinned.
Jon chuckled. "I am loving all these names." Jon turned to Henry and threw his hands in the air. "Henry, my man! Give me a hug."
"Don't. I'm not a hugger." Henry said in a blank tone.
"You hug Dylan almost all the time!" Raven stated.
"True." Zach said, his brows furrowed.
"It's different." I said, defending Henry.
"I don't care." Jon said as he approached Henry, his arms wide.
"I will kick your teeth." Henry said, a brow raised and Jon stopped on his heels.
"I'll take that as 'I'm not a hugger'."
Henry hummed in reply.
"Anyways, where's Dylan?" I asked, looking around.
"Yeah, isn't he supposed to come with you two?" Henry asked, his brows knitted.
"Yeah," Gwen replied as she stared at me with a frown. "He did say he had to head over to Jaxton's, that Jaxton needed his help with his....costume and so he asked us to go ahead and he'd come with Jaxton. If you left without waiting then he's gonna kill you." Gwen said.
I gave a small chuckle, a chuckle filled with confusion. "I don't understand, I never asked Dylan to come over, I didn't ask him for help, I got ready at Dominic's." I stated.
Everyone went silent, a look of shock on some and confusion on everyone.
"Okay, that's weird." Gwen said, her left hand resting on her hip.
"So if he wasn't going to your place like he said he was," Jon frowned.
"Then he was heading somewhere else." Zach said, letting go of Raven's waist.
"A place he didn't want you both to know about." I muttered.
"And so he lied." Raven blinked. "So, where the hell could he be?"
"Maybe he's still home?" Dominic shrugged.
"I doubt that he's home." Henry muttered.
I stared at everyone, my thoughts were the same was theirs.
Where the hell did this kid go to?
Then I remembered our conversation and when he mentioned being accepted and an initiation. I gasped. "Dark Web!"
They all turned their gaze to me. "Huh?"
"What now?"
"Dark Web." I repeated. "Few days ago, I spoke to Dylan and he mentioned being accepted into some dark web society shit something and he said it was on Halloween night. Do you think he?-"
"What?" Gwen frowned. "Nah, Dylan wouldn't."
"Wait a sec," Jon cut in. "Dylan has something to do with the dark web?"
I shrugged. "I guess."
Henry looked worried as fuck the second I had mentioned it. "Shit, I told him to stay off that stuff." Henry said and took out his phone.
"Dylan wouldn't, I mean if he did, I'd know." Jon said and Raven gave him a blank stare.
"You didn't even know he was planning on entering one, how would you know he was going for an initiation?" Raven said blankly as she typed on her phone.
"Because he'd ask for a ride." Jon answered.
I nodded. "Jon's got a point."
"Yeah, m-maybe, he didn't go there, so Henry relax." Zach said but Henry still had his phone against his ear.
"He's still not answering." Henry sighed.
"Not responding to my texts either." Raven said, worry in her tone.
Zach gave me a look that said nice one, Olson.
I could literally hear him day it in my head, I mouthed an apology and turned to Henry. "Yup, they're right, Dylan wouldn't just...do that right? I mean, maybe he's elsewhere."
Gwen nodded. "He's probably just scaring kids and making them scream and stuff like that."
"Dylan wouldn't." Dominic frowned. "Right?"
"Actually, he would." I replied, patting his shoulder.
"You need to see his outfit, Dylan looks like a possessed Peter Pan." Gwen said, throwing her hair back.
"He's mature, he wouldn't go scaring kids like a mentally unstable teenager." Dominic said with a scoff.
"Dylan's anything but mature." Zach said and a second later he received a smack at the back of his head from Henry. "Dude!!" He whined.
"That's my boyfriend you're taking about." Henry said as he went back to trying Dylan's cellphone.
"And the mentally unstable teenager you mentioned is not Dylan but his ex, the one who escaped fifty years sentence thanks to-" I trailed off once I realized Detective Fisher was Gwen's uncle and she was right here.
"It's okay," she replied softly. "You are right, my uncle helped a monster escape and I don't know why he did what he did."
"I'm sorry," I apologized. "I was gonna make a stupid joke and then I just had to mention that your uncle helped him escape even though he did and I-"
"Babe," Dominic called in a whisper.
"Hmm?"
"Stop talking."
I swallowed and nodded. "Yeah, I'll just...shut up."
Jon placed his and on Gwen's shoulders and let out a sigh. "Well, what do we believe now, concerning Dylan of course?" He asked, changing the subject.
"Don't panic, guys." Zach said, somehow holding a new cup filled with beer or whatever. "How about we all calm down and try to enjoy the party my girlfriend threw on this creepy night? Hmm?"
"Yeah, Zach." I called. "I know you're new to this relationship thing since you just became a boyfriend like two seconds ago but it's totally normal for boyfriends and girlfriends to be worried about their partner." I told him, flashing him a smile which he returned with a scowl.
"We'll wait ten minutes and if Dylan hasn't turned up then we'll all call him or text him, how's that? And if no reply still, then we'll go over to his place. Sound good? Yeah? Okay! Now, Raven, dance with me." Zach said and pulled Raven away.
"Come on, I'll get you a drink." Jon said and walked away with Raven.
I turned to Henry who looked worried despite everything Zach said. "You gonna be okay?"
"I don't know, Jax. I'll try calling him outside again, if he calls you please let me know."
I nodded. "Okay."
"Thank you." He said, he offered us a weak smile and walked away.
"Damn it, Dylan, where the hell are you?" I sighed.
"What are you feeling, tell me." Dominic said, his arms around my waist.
I looked up at him. "I feel something's wrong, something's just not right."
"Well, if you think so then," Dominic frowned. "Something is definitely not right." He continued.

Henry's P.O.V
I had tried calling Dylan severally but he still wasn't answering my calls and I was starting to worry the more, I felt restless, I didn't know if he was okay or not and so I decided to call his mom. I was resting against my car while her phone rang and then she answered.
"Hey, Henry, how are you?"
I smiled. "Mrs. Dexwell, hey, I'm uh, I'm good."
"It's shocking getting a call from you tonight, what's up?"
"I uh, I just wanted to know if Dylan was still home and if I could talk to him?"
"Huh? Dylan left already." She said and my frown deepened. "Why? Isn't he there yet?"
"Uh, no, not yet." I replied. "He's not answering his phone and I'm kinda worried."
"I think his battery was really low when he left, he mentioned something like that, so maybe it's dead?"
"It was ringing, Mr's. Dexwell."
"That boy won't kill me. His phone could possibly be on silent?" It came out more like a question, I nodded. "Maybe he's stuck in traffic or something, how about you call me in ten minutes? Maybe he'll be home then."
I nodded despite her not seeing me. "Sure, I'll...call you back, thank you."
"It's okay, sweetie. I'll try calling him from my end, try have some fun."
"Sure. Thank you." I said and hung up.
I sighed and ran my hand through my hair again, putting my phone into my pants pocket. I decided to take Bonnie's advice and go back in, I'd just wait ten more minutes. I headed back into the house, ignoring the amount of kids making out like sex deprived teenagers on the front porch. Once I got to the door, my phone suddenly rang.
I took it out again and once I saw the caller ID, I felt relived.
"Oh my God, Dylan." I walked away from the house since it was really loud. "Where the hell are you? I've been calling your cellphone and your mom said you're not at home and you lied you were heading to Jaxton's, which means you're up to your mischiefs again, so tell me where you are and I'll come get you." I said, a hand on my hip as I paced around. "Hello, Dylan?"
"HENRY! HENRY!!" Dylan screamed into the phone. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, I know I should have come straight to the party with Gwen and Jon,"
"Hey, hey, hey," I frowned at how scared he sounded. "Dylan, what's wrong?"
"You a-asked me to get off that dark web shit and I didn't and I should have listened to you and Jaxton and I didn't and I'm sorry and and I-"
"Dylan, it's okay, hey hey. I'm not mad at you, just tell me where you are." I said, swallowing hard.
"I don't know." He cried. "They won't let me be, and I've been running and I need you." He sounded out of breath.
"Dylan, what did you do?"
"I can't explain now." He said, sounding exhausted.
"Where are you?" I asked but got no response. "DYLAN!" I yelled out of fear.
"Yeah, yeah, I uh, I don't know where I am, I don't know, Henry, please come here, I'm not liking this pretty little liar shit!"
"Dylan, look around you and tell me where you are so we can come get you!"
"Uh, um...oh, t-there's a white church right in front of me and and beside it is a yellow house, they don't have any uh..any Halloween decoration," he said, his voice shaky.
"Okay, Dylan, j-just hold on for me, okay? I-I'm coming right now, so just...just hold on, okay?" I said, hurrying back into the house.
"Oh my God!" I heard Dylan scream and I stopped on the stairs.
"Dylan? Dylan!! Dylan! Fuck, answer me!" I yelled and then the line went dead.
I had never been more scared than I was now, I ran into the house in search of everyone.
I ran to Jaxton and his boyfriend, once they saw me they stopped dancing and turned to me, looking confused.
"What's wrong?"
"Dylan, he just called."
"Henry," Raven and Zach marched to us.
"Hey, you okay?" Zach asked. "We saw you looking tensed."
"More like scared." Raven corrected. "Is everything okay?"
"No, listen, Dylan just called me."
"Finally, is he here? Close?" Raven asked and I shook my head.
"He needs help."
"W-What do you mean?" Jaxton asked curiously.
I sighed. "You were right, you were right about the dark web shit."
"Oh fuck." Jaxton cursed.
