BAD CUPID

Chapter 107

Created By; Snow Marisvega

Once I was out of the house, I was finally able to breathe a little, I felt choked up, like I was suffocating. It was hard for me to breathe because I was also trying not to shed a tear, I wanted to leave. To get home as soon as I could, to be away from him, I didn't stop walking, my legs working at a face pace.

"Dyl," Henry called again but I didn't answer, I kept walking, my heart racing and my mind screaming at me. "Dyl!" He suddenly gripped my arm, twirling me to face him.

A gasp escaped my lips instantly, I didn't want him touching me. "DON'T TOUCH ME!" I screamed, pulling my arm away from his grasp, roughly. "D-Don't touch me." I stuttered, holding back the tears, my hands were shaking, my entire body was.

"Dylan, please it's not....it's not what it looks like." He stuttered, his face filled with concern.

"You mean it wasn't you and that teenage witch I saw naked in bed and cuddling? Wow, I must have something wrong with my eyes then." I laughed bitterly, despite wanting to cry my eyes out at what I saw.

"Dylan, please, j-just let me explain." He said trying to reach out for me again I took two steps backwards, avoiding his touch as I shook my head.

"Don't." I swallowed, clenching my fists. "I...I gotta g-go. I can't be here." I said and turned, walking away but then his hands suddenly found it's way to NY waist and he spun me around, his eyes filled with fear and tears.

"Dylan, please."

"Stop, Henry, let me go." I said as I struggled to release myself from his hold.

"Dylan, please, you have to believe me when I say there is a misunderstanding."

"Henry, l-let go off me!"

"Dylan, I love you."

"Stop!" I screamed angrily and my hand flew up and kissed his cheek hard, he freed me instantly, his face pointed towards the left. "Stop." I said through gritted teeth, pointing at him. "Don't say that, don't touch me." I said, the tears threatening to spill and embarrass me.

I let out shaky breaths and looked up at him, sniffing. "I uh, I'm sorry, I...I didn't mean to... I didn't mean to hit you, I'm just...losing it." I said, my voice breaking. "J-Just tell me the truth, okay? It didn't happen right?" I questioned. "Did you...Did you really....did you both really...?" I couldn't say it yet I badly wanted to know, deep down I wanted him to say it didn't happen and I was only being tricked but his silence said it all, he just stared at me, his eyes red and full with tears.

It happened.

"Oh God," I breathed, stepping away from him. "Oh God." I placed my hands on both side of my head, pacing around with my heart shattering every second. "What have I done? This c-can't be happening! Henry, what the fuck?!!" I yelled and at that moment, the tears rolled down my cheeks uncontrollably.

"I am s-sorry." He apologized, his voice low, his eyes filled with tears that were about to spill and make a waterfall on his face. "Dylan, please, listen to me."

"W-What do you have to say? Y-You were drunk? You didn't know it wasn't me? HENRIQUE, I don't have a vagina, I don't have a....I don't..." I couldn't finish the sentence because I was broken, the tears came again.

"Dylan, please." He came forward again, reaching for my left hand.

I pulled it away, holding my left hand with my right. I quickly wiped my tears away and turned, walking away.

"Dylan! Please! Please listen to me!" Henry yelled, his voice filled with pain that made me cry the more, that wanted me to forgive him all of a sudden but how could I?

I didn't turn around, I didn't want to look at him, I just walked away, the tears falling continuously, and then I ran.

I ran till I couldn't and placed my forehead against a wall, I was shattered, my chest kept hurting so bad, like my best wanted to run out of it's place. I wanted to scream, to hit myself, to hit Henry. I didn't care that people saw me cry, I didn't care that I looked pathetic.

It hurt.

It hurt seeing them like that.

My throat closed up and I kept hitting my chest to stop the pain erupting, I felt like I was going crazy, like a part of me had been snatched, destroyed.

I screamed.

HENRY'S P.O.V

I didn't understand how we got here, I didn't know how Claudia got into my bed. Once I heard the plates shatter to the ground, I had woken up with a headache but once I saw Dylan's shocked face and Claudia laying naked beside me, my heart stopped. I turned back to Dylan and he looked so broken, my heart kept racing as I chased him down the stairs with just my briefs. Mom and Daniel were worried and wanted to get an answer from me but I needed to explain to Dylan that I did not know how what happened had happened. He wouldn't let me touch me, he wouldn't let me close to him. I was shaking in fear, I didn't want him to leave me, I wanted a chance to explain but he was too shocked and hurt to listen.

It was all my fault, I had fucking slept with her. When she had approached me last night, I had told her to leave me the fuck alone but she didn't and kept apologizing and talking while I listened to her, I tried ignoring her but I don't know how we got here, I couldn't have gotten that drunk.

I watched Dylan walk away and my throat closed up, I couldn't breathe, I tried calling out to him but he didn't reply, he just left. I placed my hands on both sides of my head as the tears fell from my eyes, I wanted to scream, to hit something. I was hurting, my chest was hurting, watching him pain, watching him cry broke me. I had fucking ruined him.

I walked back into the house, slamming the door shut.

"Henry!!" Mom called. "W-What happened? Why was...why was Dylan upset?" She asked, worry stitched to her voice.

I couldn't find my voice, I just looked away from her confused face. How could I tell her that I had cheated? How could I tell her that I had broken him?

"Henry, please, t-talk to me!" She said, her voice breaking.

"Henry," Daniel called. "What is going on? what happened? What did you say to Dylan?" He asked and just then we heard footsteps on the stairs and we all turned to see a half naked Claudia, staring back at us.

Mom's face was suddenly filled with horror, she swallowed hard and looked back at me. She let out heavy breaths like she couldn't breathe properly, like she couldn't believe exactly what was happening at the moment. She was angry, sad, worried, shocked, there was a lot of emotions on her face.

"Daniel." She called softly and he turned to her. "Help me up." She ordered and he frowned.

"What?"

"H-Help me stand p-please." She stuttered her voice breaking. Daniel nodded despite being confused and helped her up, she clung onto him for support, her legs shaking as he pulled her up to her feet.

I swallowed and took a step towards her to help. "Ma, I-" I trailed off cause in a flash, her palm had harshly come in contact with my face.

I didn't turn back to look at her, I just stood still. My emotions were all over the place, I couldn't even hide my tears, I couldn't pretend it was fine.

"How d-dare you." She said, her voice breaking. "How dare y-you do such s thing like that?!"

"Catherine, please calm down." Daniel said but she was too furious to give a shit.

"Mom," I turned to her, my vision blurry from the tears. "I-"

"You just had to do it. Repeat t-the same mistake your father made." She said, her eyes teary. "You...hurt that poor kid, you c-cheated on him. How could you do such a thing to him? How could you....do this to him with your....with her!" She screamed and Daniel quickly put her down on the wheelchair. "Oh God, that poor boy." She cried. "I- Oh God, he's gonna be in so much pain."

I said nothing, I just looked down at my feet, my chest tightening as I thought about how Dylan had to be feeling. I didn't care that she hit me, I wanted her to do it again. I was just like the man who had hurt my mother in the past, I had done the same.

"Mom," I called breathlessly.

"Daniel," She called, not sparing me a glance. "Please take me inside, I'm sorry for troubling you."

"I-It's okay." He stuttered, he looked at me and gave me a small nod that said it was going to be fine. Mom looked up at the stairs and angrily glared at Claudia. "You are so shameless, worse than that. Your parents must be proud of the abomination they brought into the world." She snarled.

I angrily turned my gaze to Claudia, anger in every part of my body. I was mad, I wanted to break something, to hit something. She had ruined my relationship with this dirty card she played, I furiously walked past Mom and Daniel and walked up the stairs, I gripped her hand and pulled her along with me harshly into my room, I threw her in and slammed the door shut.

"Ow, Henry, what the hell." She complained.

"What did you do?"

"What you wanted." She said, rubbing her wrist.

"You spiked my drink last night, didn't you?"

"Please, Henry. I wouldn't have sex with you against your will, I'm not that bad." She snorted.

I marched to her and wrapped my hand around her throat, I pushed her backwards until her back touched the wall, I squeezed my hold on her throat.

"How could you fucking do a thing like this to me?! Nothing happened last night, right? Tell me!!"

She laughed. "Oh, something did happen, Henry, you might try denying that but we both know it happened." She said and I tightened my grip, she choked and I tightened it the more. I was mad, I didn't give a shit if she was going to drop dead now.

"H-Henry, s-stop!" She choked, hitting my hands to get it off but I didn't stop, I didn't reduce the pressure, the veins in my body were out. She breathlessly called out my name, begging me to free her but I paid her no attention. "H-Hen-Henry!"

The door burst open and Daniel suddenly appeared, his eyes widen and he quickly pushed me backwards. "Jesus, Henry! What the fuck?" He exclaimed.

Claudia dropped to the floor, coughing loud and trying to catch her breath, she looked miserable, she kept hitting her chest, her hair covered her face, she was suddenly red.

"Do you want to kill her?!" Daniel yelled.

"I DON'T CARE! I DON'T CARE! I LOST DYLAN!"

"And you think killing her would get him back?" Daniel yelled back, he went silent and blinked awkwardly. "I mean...it sort of will but that is not the point."

"Henry," Claudia called as she slowly got on her feet.
I hated her voice, I hated her face, I hated everything about her.

I glared at her, gritting my teeth angrily. "Get out." I ordered.

She had her hand placed against her throat. "Henry, please listen to me, I-"

"GET OUT!" I launched for her but Daniel held me back. "GET OUT!" she flinched. "Leave or I'll fucking kill you!"

"Henry, calm down!" Daniel said as he tried to stop me from coming at her.

"If I see you anywhere close to my house or my friends, God so help you, if I ever set my eyes on you again, I'll rip your tongue out and cut out your fucking eyeballs!"

Claudia picked up her things quickly and left my room and once she did, Daniel let me loose. I pushed him away from me, breathing heavily, filled with rage. I turned around, I was losing my mind, I was scared, worried, frustrated, angry! I screamed as I picked up my laptop from the dresser table, throwing it against the wall.

"Henry!!" Daniel yelled but I paid him no attention as I thrashed things, I just wanted to destroy everything, I wanted to hit myself.

"Henry, Henry, stop!" Daniel said as he rushed to me. "Look at what you're doing, stop this madness! Your hand is fucking bleeding from punching the wall." He stated, I hadn't even noticed it. I slumped to the floor, I couldn't believe that I had cheated on him, that I had hurt him, and with her.

"Calm down, Henry." Daniel said as he squatted in front of me.

"I-I hurt h-him." I stuttered, my throat closing up.

"It wasn't your fault."

"It was my fault, I- I don't know how t-this happened! I d-don't-"

"Henry, Henry, it's okay."

"It's not okay, I just-"

"You need to explain this to him, Henry." I looked at him. "You need to let him know that this wasn't your fault, that you love him. It's gonna take time but don't give up on him, he loves you, he'll understand why what happened, happened. You were drunk."

"Still isn't enough excuse."

"Don't give up now."

I remained silent, letting out a painful chuckle. "I don't wanna lose him."

"Then don't."

Third person P.O.V

The door opened and Dylan walked in, no trace of fallen tears on his face, no smile, he just looked blank, numb. He shut the door behind him gently and made his way inside, heading for the stairs, for his room, his safe spot.

"The hell, shouldn't you be in school? What are you doing home?" Bonnie asked, a frown on her face. She was sitting on one of the living room couches, her mother beside her, they had been talking about Bonnie's other siblings and who seemed more like Jaxton in their family.

Dylan said nothing, no reply to his mother's questions. Apart from answering, he didn't even stop once she spoke, it was like she hasn't said anything, like they didn't exist. He walked past the hall and towards the stairs, Bonnie's frown deepened as she exchanged looks with her mother. She stood up and followed her son who had just climbed the stairs, he was about to take another step when she called his name.

"Dylan,"

He stopped.

"Didn't you hear me? If you're gonna skip school today, at least you should let me know than sneak in and act like Annabelle recreation." Bonnie said, placing both hands on her hips, a habit she had.

"Henry came over earlier looking for you and I told him you went to see him, where did you go from his place? He hurried off and I don't know, where were you?" She asked, curiously but got no answer. Bonnie couldn't understand her son's attitude, Dylan would have retorted even though he knew his mother was gonna smack him or throw a shoe at him, but he said nothing, nothing at all and just stood still, like he was frozen, he wasn't even looking at her.

"Dylan, what's wrong?" She asked, her mother senses telling her something had happened.

"Dylan, dear." Grandma Athena called, standing at a distance and staring at her grandson, reading his stance and quickly knowing something wasn't right. "What happened?" She asked, turning her gaze to her confused looking daughter.

"Dylan," Bonnie gripped his arm and pulled him down to face her and her jaw dropped at how lifeless he seemed the minute she pulled him down like some lifeless being. He didn't stare at her, he wasn't looking at her but at nothing. Bonnie took in his expression and her heart ached, something bad had happened. Those eyes were bloodshot but he had no expression on his face, he looked numb, stoic. But behind those expressions was a child who was crying, who was in pain, behind those eyes were sadness, tiredness and definitely not the good kind. Bonnie could read it all, he was her child after all.

"Dylan, please tell me what happened." She said, placing both hands on his cheeks. "Speak to me, Dylan, what is wrong? You don't look....you don't look yourself."

"Peter Pan." Grandma Athena walked up to him and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Sweetie, what happened at Henry's place?" She asked and Bonnie turned her gaze to her. Grandma Athena and Bonnie felt their son tense up once his name was mentioned but it was only for a second, which meant this had to do with Henry.

"Dylan, speak to me!!" Bonnie yelled, frustratedly. Fear and worry danced around her skin, but Dylan said nothing.

"Mom, w-what is wrong with him? I don't....something happened and...he's not saying a word!" Bonnie stammered, shaking in worry.

"Relax, Bonnie." Grandma Athena said, she needed them to be calm to get to Dylan, although she was freaking out and worried as hell, she didn't need them showing a lot of fear or he would still be numb, they needed to be calm to get him out of the state he was in.

Once they left him, Dylan slowly turned like a robot and walked up the stairs and into his room, his mother and grandmother watching him as he made his way to his room.

"We can't leave him alone." Bonnie said and her mother nodded in agreement.

"Come on, let's go up." Grandma Athena said and the two rushed up to Dylan's room, Bonnie opened the door and they both stopped as they saw their son sit on the floor, his back resting against the bed stand while he stared at the wall like a malfunctioned robot.

"Dylan, dear." Grandma Athena called as she walked over to him and sat beside him, but he said nothing, the image replaying continuously in his head as he sat still, his eyes unblinking.

"I'll call the doctor, I-I don't know what to do." Bonnie said, rubbing her hands together.

"No, call Henry." Grandma Athena instructed and Dylan quickly grabbed her arm, he didn't turn to her, his eyes didn't leave the wall but Grandma Athena suddenly understood that he didn't want her calling him.

"Dylan," Bonnie called softly and walked over to him, she squatted in front of him, her eyes filled with hurt as she saw her child. "Sweetie, what did Henry do? What happened at his place?" She asked but he said nothing, didn't blink, didn't move.

"What do we do?" Bonnie asked her mother, panicking.

"I don't know, Bonnie, but-" Grandma Athena was interrupted by Bonnie's phone which rang loudly. Bonnie took it out and saw it was Catherine, Henry's mother. She stood up and walked to the door as she answered.

"Oh, thank God. Catherine, I was gonna call you."

"Bonnie, I am so sorry." Catherine said in a broken voice, she was devastated, she had a soft spot for the boy. After all, he did look after her son when she was unwell and he brought her back, he fixed their family and now he faced such betrayal.

Bonnie frowned, standing still. "What happened, Catherine?" She inquired.

"Henry, he-" Catherine sniffed, she was crying silently. How could she tell Bonnie that her son had cheated on innocent Dylan? How could she tell Bonnie that the most hurtful thing had happened? That history had repeated itself?

Bonnie knew this had to do with Henry and whatever happened, happened at his place. Was it Claudia? Did Henry say something? Bonnie couldn't figure it out.

Bonnie left the room and spoke in a low tone. "What happened, Catherine? What happened to Henry?"

"I don't think he meant to, he wouldn't have intentionally done that." Catherine cried. "He didn't mean to hurt him."

"Catherine, speak." Bonnie ordered, the suspension killing her, her voice breaking. She badly wanted to know what had happened to her son.

"He cheated." Catherine finally said and Bonnie froze at that spot. "Dylan caught him w-with Claudia in bed and he just....ran out, I'm sorry."

Bonnie gulped, she slowly pulled the phone away from her ear and let out shaky breaths. She put the phone back against her ear and spoke in a calm voice. "I'll call you back, Catherine." She said and hung up before the woman replied. Bonnie slowly made her way back to Dylan's room, she stared at her son as he sat miserably on the floor, he felt betrayed and that was why he was this way. He was shocked by the pain and it had put him in a trance, he was battling with the memories and himself.

Bonnie covered her mouth, trying not to cry out loud as she watched her mother calmly comfort Dylan and all he did was look. Bonnie quickly wiped off her tears and as she made her way towards her child, she felt the tears again and stopped, she turned, not wanting them to see her cry. She needed to be strong for her son, she shouldn't be crying but she couldn't help it. Her son was hurting so bad and there was so little she could do.

She wiped her tears again and turned, she walked back to Dylan and squatted down in front of him. She placed a hand on his cheek and faked a smile, "Dylan, whatever happened, don't let it drag you down, okay? Don't let it do this to you, don't let it....ruin you. Please, get up." She said but he didn't reply, he didn't make any attempt to stand up or look at her, he just sat there.

"Mom," Bonnie called, eyes locking with her mother. "Please, could you help me watch Davina? I'll stay right here with Dylan."

Grandma Athena nodded, she placed a hand on her daughter's hand before standing up. "Okay," she replied softly, Bonnie gave her a small nod before she left. She turned back to her son and sat on the floor beside him, resting her back against the bed stand.

"And we are both going to be here, kid." She said, placing her head on his shoulder. "And if you want to talk or cry or scream, I'll be right here to hold you, okay?" She said but got no reply. "I'm right here, I'm not going anywhere." She assured him, and she didn't.

Few hours later, Henry came back, he had been there before but Dylan had not returned home and he had gone in search for him. Grandma Athena had opened the door and once she saw him, it became clearer that something had happened between the two because like Dylan, Henry looked helpless, miserable.

"Henry,"

"Hi," he faked a smile.

"Are you going to tell me what happened at your place?" Grandma Athena asked, folding her arms.

Henry stood outside, his hands in his jacket pockets, he couldn't look at her, he couldn't look straight into her eyes. "Can I just speak to Dylan? I need to talk to him, please."

"You can't." Bonnie said from behind her mother, she walked to the door and stood beside her mother. "You can't see him."

"Bonnie." Her mother called, surprised.

"Look, you can't see Dylan now because now isn't the time. Dylan's hurting, he isn't even himself." Bonnie explained.

"I just need to apologize to him and let him know that I didn't...I didn't mean to hurt him."

"But you did." Bonnie shot. "You cheated on him, Henry." She stated and Grandma Athena turned to Henry in shock. "You don't know what that did to him because he was so in love with you, you just....have to come back when he's in a better shape and can see you. I don't want to believe what I heard, Henry, but I...I don't know what to do." Her voice break. "For two hours, all my son has done is stare at a wall, he has said no word, he hasn't cried, he hasn't screamed or tasted anything, all because of whatever happened this morning." She swallowed. "I-I feel helpless and no, I do not blame you Henry, I don't blame you for any of this but....I need Dylan to stay sane, I need to get him back and him seeing you? I don't know if that will help him or make his condition worse, so please," her voice low and filled with pain. "Just go home." She finished and turned, walking away, back to her son's room before the boy outside could say a word.

Henry watched her go, his throat closing up, he couldn't say a word in fear that he would end up crying, in fear that he might say the wrong thing. He understood Bonnie and hearing that his boyfriend was traumatized and was in trance, scared him. He just wanted to see him, that was all he wanted. He looked up at Grandma Athena and with trembling lips, he spoke. "I'm sorry." And his eyes betrayed him, a tear falling.

"I know." She said and opened her arms. "Come here." She said, offering him a hug. He hesitated, he didn't know if he deserved a hug but she wasn't taking no for an answer and so he did, he wrapped his arms around her and hid his face in her shoulder as he cried while she gently patted his back. "It's okay, sweetie."

"I'm sorry." He cried.

"Shh, shh, you wouldn't intentionally hurt him, I know."

"I j-just want to see him." He stuttered.

Grandma Athena pulled back and flashed him a smile, she patted his cheeks and gave him a small nod. "Come back, tonight, around ten, call me and I'll help you see him, okay?"

Henry nodded, he couldn't say anything as he cried, "Yeah?" She smiled at him as they both nodded.

"Yeah," he replied. She wiped off his tears with her thumbs, a warm smile never leaving her face. "Now, go home, eat something, get some rest and come back around ten tonight, can you do that?"

Henry nodded. "Yeah,"

"Good boy, now don't think Bonnie hates you, you know she doesn't, she could never. She's just worried about her son and doesn't know how to help him, but don't worry, it'll be fine." She assured him. All Henry did was nod like a five year old, Grandma Athena smiled at the sad boy before saying her farewells.

She didn't know what to do, both boys were hurting. She knew her grandchild, he didn't do well with betrayal, with pain. Dylan was trying to cover up the pain, he was trying to pack up the pain somewhere, and with that happening and the shock, this was how he ended up like this.

He was hurting so much.

Her daughter was hurting,

Henry was hurting,

And so was she.

The Agent Of Shield which consisted of Dylan's best friends and their partners all drove to Dylan's house to check on him, except Zach who had gone over to Henry's place after getting a voicemail from Henry saying he had fucked up.

"Dylan better have a good reason for not coming to school or picking our calls." Raven said as they all marched to his door. Jaxton knocked, his nerves wracking and seconds later, the door opened, revealing Dylan's grandmother who had baby Davina in her arms.

"Hello," Jon greeted with a big smile on his face.

"Come on in, kids." She said as she walked back in, letting them all come in.

"Please tell me Dylan's here somewhere because he hasn't been answering any of our calls and that is scary, we all know when he doesn't answer then it is something bad." Raven said as she took off her sweater.

Grandma Athena turned to the three of them; Jaxton, Raven and Jon. She faked a smile at her grandson's best friends and shook her head. She thought about lying, about saying their friend was okay, just sick but if there was one thing she knew, it was that Dylan needed them now, more than ever. They were his best friends and only a cruel person would lie and say he was fine when he was crashing. "Dylan's not okay." She said as she rocked Davina in her arms.

The trio frowned, a look of confusion and worry, all mixed in their faces.

"What happened?" Jaxton asked, softly.

"Why isn't he okay?" Raven asked next.

"Something....happened earlier."

"What?" Jon asked instantly, worry filled in his voice.

"Dylan went out this morning, to Henry's place." She began and Jaxton nodded.

"Yeah, and he said he'd meet us at school but neither him or Henry showed up." Jaxton said, holding his backpack tight.

"D-Did something happen to Henry?" Jon asked, praying the boy was fine.

"Yeah, Henry is fine." Grandma Athena answered. "What Dylan saw though, put him in a trance...like he's completely hypnotized." She said and the friends exchanged looks.

"What do you mean?" Raven asked, her voice low.

Grandma Athena didn't know if she had the right to tell them what exactly happened, they might take it the wrong way and she didn't know if Dylan would want them to know, the boy was used to keeping secrets to protect the people he loved and she didn't know if this was going to be one of those secrets he'd want to keep, despite being in so much pain.

"Grandma, Thena." Jaxton took a step towards her. "Where is Dylan?"

"In his room." She replied, swallowing hard and the best friends rushed up the stairs and into the boy's room. They all stopped at the entrance once they saw him and his mother sitting on the floor, her head resting on his shoulder.

They could feel the tension in the air, the worry, something wasn't right. The three friends exchanged looks ago and walked in, their eyes on the boy and his mother , they stopped a few feet away from them.

"Dylan." Raven called softly, Bonnie sat up and turned to them.

"Guys." She stood up and wiped off her tears. "Hey," she walked over to them.

They all faked a smile at her, just like she did. "What are you doing here?"

"Dylan wasn't in school and grandma Athena said something happened and he was up here." Jaxton answered.

"Is he okay?" Raven asked, her brows knitted and Bonnie gave a small nod.

But Jon asked the most important question, his eyes never leaving his best friend. "Why didn't he answer when Raven called him? Why isn't he looking at us?" He asked as he walked past Bonnie and over to Dylan, he squatted and looked Dylan right in the face but the boy didn't once blink or look at him, he didn't look away from where his eyes were fixed.

"What is wrong with him?" Jon asked softly as he placed a hand on Dylan's face. "Dylan, hey, it's me, hi. Are you okay?" He asked but the boy didn't answer, he just remained still. "W-Why isn't he answering?" Jon asked, turning to look at Bonnie.

Jaxton and Raven got confused, their brows knitted in surprise. "Mrs. Bonnie, what is he talking about?" Raven asked as she quickly walked over to Dylan, Jaxton following behind her. They both went on their knees, surrounding the boy who made no move, who didn't spare them one glance.

"Dylan. Dylan, what's going on?" Raven asked, shaking him like a lifeless doll. "Why isn't he....w-why is he like this? What is going on?" She questioned, stuttering.

Bonnie swallowed hard, wiping her tears quickly. "He's been like that since he returned home this morning," she said, folding her arms to stop it from shaking. "He wouldn't talk, eat, look away, he wouldn't do anything."

They all turned to her. "What. Happened?" Jon demanded.

"Bonnie, why is he this way? This is...this is bad." Jaxton said while she nodded.

"I-I know, I already called the doctor because this isn't good and he's on his way." She sniffed, running a hand through her hair roughly.

"What happened?!" Jaxton asked, standing up and walking over to her. "Please, tell us!"

Bonnie swallowed. "Henry happened."

"What do you mean?" Jon asked, his hands on Dylan's cheeks.

"I know there's a misunderstanding somewhere, I know this is all some conspiracy, I know Henry would never, never do this on purpose." She ranted.

"Bonnie, what did Henry do?" Raven asked, her frown deepened.

"He uh," she looked away for a second. "Dylan caught him and Claudia in bed this morning."

And then the room fell silent for a short while, their eyes fixed on Bonnie. Their mouths slightly opened and their thoughts like whispers from a thousand ghosts. They couldn't believe what they had just heard, they didn't want to.

"What?" Jaxton asked, his voice extremely low.

"Dylan saw them and he...he hasn't been the same since he returned." Bonnie looked away as the tears came.

"Henry, he....he cheated." Raven gulped. "He...with...her?"

"I'm going to kill him." Jon said and got up, he was agitated, he was filled with anger seeing his best friend in such a condition because of Henry. He began storming out when Bonnie blocked his path, shaking her head.

"No, no. You c-can't go over to his place."

"Dylan is like this because of him!!" Jon yelled, angrily.

"I know! But...let's not do something we might regret and plus he needs us all now , more than he ever did." She said as her voice broke. "Look at my baby, it's like being in a coma all over again and I...I don't know what to do." She cried.

Jaxton walked back to Dylan silently, he sat beside him and held his hand in his. Tears fell from his eyes as he stared at the wall his best friend stared at, he wiped off his tears and squeezed Dylan's hand softly. "He would never hurt you on purpose, Dylan. He loves you too much to do that and I know you're hurting but please, you need to stop this. Dylan, I...I know you're in pain, I know you're hurting but please, don't lose yourself."

Dylan said nothing, he didn't even hear Jaxton speak. His eyes were unmoving, seated like he was dead.

"Oh God. This is bad." Raven sighed, both hands in her hair. "Dylan's not gonna just forget this."

"Dylan, please." Jon appeared in front of him. "Please, look at me, please, Dylan." He begged, his lips trembling but Dylan paid no attention to that, could he even see Jon?

Jon felt his heart weaken, he pulled his best friend into a hug as he silently sobbed. Seeing Dylan in such a way made him want to scream, made him want to fight Henry even if he was going to lose so bad, he didn't care, he was gonna make Henry bleed still.

Jaxton's P.O V

An hour later, Dylan's dad and a doctor walked into Dylan's room where we all were, sitting around Dylan on his bed. He had been carried by Jon earlier and not once did he make a sound, it was disheartening and scary seeing him that way, staring at nothing and not uttering a damn word.

Seeing him that way made me cry severally despite me promising to stay strong for him, I still couldn't stop myself. We begged him to speak, to look at us but nothing.

"He's here." Dylan's dad said, announcing their presence. We all turned to him, Bonnie gave a small nod and moved away from where she stood, letting the doctor take her place. Mr. Dexwell had arrived thirty minutes earlier, leaving his meeting in Westbrick and returning as fast as he could once Mrs. Dexwell called him to tell him about Dylan's condition. Seeing his son that way broke him, Mr. Dexwell didn't know what to do, he was just as confused, shocked and worried like the rest of us.

It was like Dylan ignoring him all over again, except this was worse.

The doctor opened his briefcase and Raven got off the bed, she signaled for me to come with her and I did while Jon stayed with Dylan, not leaving his side.

"What's up?" I asked with a sniff as we moved to the corner of the room, far away from them.

"Do you think....Henry knows Dylan's this way?" She asked, her arms folded.

I nodded. "Yeah, I'd like to think he does, I mean Grandma Athena said he came here earlier but Bonnie wouldn't let him come up."

"I can't believe he cheated, that is...unlike Henry." Raven sighed, a hand in her hair.

"Exactly!" I exclaimed. "Henry loves Dylan like Jack loved Rose, I don't think he'd just cheat. We all know it's Chlamydia and she probably took advantage of Henry when he was drunk last night." I stated.

Raven gave me a look. "Chlamydia had boobs and a vagina, Dylan doesn't and now look at our friend! He....he is just...there and we can't even help."

"Henry could have said no, a drunk person has no power and it's different, he probably couldn't have done anything."

"You keep saying probably like you are not so sure," Raven said, cocking her head to the side. "And it is not different, he should have been able to tell! Now look at Dylan!" She whisper yelled.

"It is fucking complicated and Dylan will understand when he gets better."

"Will he?" She asked with a scoff. "Will he understand? Because when Vaughn cheated on you with a girl, you threw a fit and said it wasn't complicated, you said he could tell the difference because you were a boy and he should have known, so why are you siding with Henry now, when he clearly made the same mistake?" Raven asked, her face serious.

I swallowed, remembering it all again. "Like I said, it is different, Raven. Henry loves Dylan, I was just a piece of furniture to Vaughn, or should I say a sex doll? So, don't compare it , it's not the same."

"I'm finding it hard to believe that you believe what you just said because deep down, you know it's the same thing." Raven said and I bit my cheek from the inside.

She was right, extremely right.

"What is wrong with him?" Bonnie asked and we all turned to see the Doctor was done examining Dylan.
I turned to Raven giving her a look before walking back to the others with her following behind me.

The Doctor who looked like he was in his mid forties, pushed his glasses up and turned to Mr and Mrs. Dexwell. "Madam, your son has dissociative disorder."

"What?"

"What is that?" Grandma Athena suddenly asked, looking up at him.

"I think he has depersonalization disorder which is also a kind of dissociative disorder."

"I still don't understand what that means, so bring it down." Grandma Athena said, her voice filled with worry.

"Depersonalization disorder means feeling disconnected or detached from your own body, your thoughts, basically reality. Almost like an out of body experience that makes you feel like you're in a dream as well." I explained, their eyes all shifting to me.

The doctor nodded. "Yes, exactly that. It is uh, a condition that can cause physical and psychological problems." He explained. "Does anyone in your family have that? Maybe a relative or someone not around anymore? Is it in any of your family medical records?"

Bonnie shook her head, looking at her mother. "Not that I know of."

"He is just a bit disconnected from the present, from reality. Is this the first time it is happening?"

Matthew nodded. "It is." He said with a gulp.

"Your son is trying to escape reality to probably deal with something? Something that might have been too much for him? And that is unhealthy for him."

"How long is he gonna be like this?" Bonnie asked, her voice low.

"Some dissociative disorder are short lived, they don't take much time, perhaps following the traumatic event or the shock the person received. It can be mistaken for stroke cause they are somewhat similar, it can resolve on their own overtime, it might take weeks, months, years," he said and remained silent. "Or forever." He added.

Bonnie gasped and quickly covered her mouth, her husband rubbing her shoulder calmly although scared as hell.

"It is a way the mind sort of copes with too much stress or a way the mind or the individual choose to avoid dealing with certain situation rather than coping with it." He explained. "They get to switch off from humanity."

"How bad is this?" Jon asked.

"You see there are different types of Dissociative disorder. Um, this could slowly slip into dissociative amnesia, it is when they cannot remember certain details about themselves, things that happened, what they are good at, their talents, they could arrive at strange places without knowing. It could also slip into dissociative identity disorder, multiple personalities, feeling like a stranger in his body. This could affect him mentally," he said in a serious tone.

"Whatever he had seen or relived affected him badly, it's like when you can't swim or you're scared of the water and someone pushes you inside a river and leaves you there, you slowly drown till you stop breathing and then die." He said as he looked at all of us. "Dylan is drowning and you have to get him out."

I gulped, blinking out the tears as my heart raced, I hugged myself and with a trembling voice, asked. "H-How do we get him out of this? This....state?"

He turned his gaze to me. "By bringing him back to reality," he answered. "You need to make him cry, if he cries, he's back. He needs to cry or else he might just remain like this forever."

My heart stopped.

"Cry?" Bonnie asked.

"He needs to feel what he is trying not to. If it becomes long term, it would be a problem and they will begin blacking our a lot, and well, might have more than one personality, with different memories, behaviors, preferences and ways of thinking."  He explained.

"Oh God." Grandma Athena exclaimed while Bonnie cried.

"He should probably see a therapist to help him out of this before it's too late."

"H-He can't remain like this." Jon stuttered, his eyes red with tears.

"I know, that's why you have to do what you have to do fast." He stated. "I have given him a sedative that will put him to sleep soon enough, I'll prescribe some medicines, you don't have enough time, Mr and Mrs. Bonnie." He said as he looked back at Dylan who's eyelids were dark now. "I'll take my leave now." He said and Mr. Dexwell nodded.

"Yeah, um, I uh, I'll...I'll see you to the door." He said and went away with him.

"Dylan, Dylan please." Bonnie quickly knelt beside his bed. "Please come back, please cry!" She begged, crying uncontrollably. "FUCKING CRY FOR FUCK SAKE!" She screamed.

"Bonnie!!" Grandma Athena called. "Stop." She said in a pained voice as she watched her daughter cry and slowly, Dylan's eyes closed and he fell into a deep sleep.

Jon rested his forehead on Dylan's arm as he silently cried into his shoulder. I looked away from them and quickly walked out of the room, I couldn't breathe in there and I needed air. Once I was out, I rested against the wall and the tears poured out.

Dylan had been through a lot of traumatic shit and this just broke it all. He had never fallen in love, he was scared to, he didn't want to be hurt, he didn't want to go through this and his worst fears had come to pass and now this happened.

All he needed to do was cry, how are we go going to get him to c-

I paused.

Wait, I have seen this before, something like this.

All he needed to do was cry. He needed to cry.

I quickly stood up and wiped off my tears as I sniffed. "He has to cry." I muttered and rapidly ran down the stairs, I almost bumped into Mr. Dexwell but held myself.

"Woah, Jaxton, where are you going?"

"I'll be back." I said as I continued running and out the door, I went.

***

It was seven pm, Dylan was awake and still not speaking or moving. We were all seated in the living room, it was so silent, it felt like we were all mourning. Dylan was always the light in everyone's life, he had saved us more times than we could count. We took him for granted many times, we didn't deserve him, he was always there to make us smile. He was always there to fight our battles for us, with us and now it felt like that light was going off and sadness was in the air.

"I made...dinner." Grandma Athena announced softly as she walked into the living room but no one was hungry. Who could actually eat at a time like this? Well, only baby Davina because she didn't know what was happening. She was too pure for this world, this world was a damn hellhole.

"Not hungry." Bonnie said, her voice hoarse. She's was sitting on the couch, hugging her knees while Mr. Dexwell sat beside her.

"What are we going to do?" Raven asked with a sigh. "Jon's sad as hell, we don't know how we are gonna make Dylan cry, we've done everything we could think of, we've begged him , we've said things and...and nothing." Raven said as the waterworks began again.

Jon hadn't left Dylan's side, he was currently laying beside Dylan and we couldn't even drag him down no matter how hard we tried. We had told him Dylan needed time to rest and he should come with us but he said what if Dylan says something when we are all away? What if he wants water? And while he spoke, he cried. Jon's pain made me cry the more, he adored Dylan, Dylan had pulled him out of the world of darkness, of sadness and into his own world, the world he made for us, to be happy. Jon admitted he had never been as happy as he was the day Dylan fought for him at Zach's party, the day Dylan accepted him, the day we all did and Dylan was like a small god to Jon, they were brothers, they were iconic and I understood his pain more than anyone could because Dylan was also my brother.

A hard knock came on the door continuously and we all frowned. "Open this fucking door!"

It was Henry.

"The hell?" Raven got up and went to the door, we all stood up and then we heard the door open. "You have some nerves coming here." Raven said as we all went to see Henry. He pushed her aside and I jumped a little.

"Henry, are you...drunk?" I asked, my brows knitted.

"Where the hell is that boyfriend of mine?!!" He questioned, harshly. His shirt open, he wreaked of alcohol and looked annoyed.

"Henry, what are you doing here? I told you not to come here!" Bonnie scolded.

"Henry, you can't be here right now, I know you want to see him but please, respect Bonnie's wishes." I said, trying to reason with him.

"I did not come here for you both, okay? I came for Dylan." He said and pushed past us and headed for the stairs.

"Henry!!" Mr. Dexwell roared but Henry paid him no attention.

"Shit!" Bonnie cursed and ran up the stairs, we all followed.

Henry pushed the door to Dylan's room open right before we entered. He froze once he saw how lifeless Dylan looked before laughing.

"What are you doing here?" Jon asked as he sat up.

"Look how pathetic he looks, you fucking brought this on yourself, Dylan!" He screamed while we all stared. "I fucking told you I wasn't gay at first, told you to leave me the fuck alone but you wouldn't!"

"Henry! What the fuck?!" Raven snarled.

"Shut up, you fucking slut!" He retorted, angrily. "Dylan tried to make me a fag, I told him to leave me alone! I thought I was in love with him but I am not! You were just an experiment!!" He screamed at Dylan. "Why can't you fucking say anything?!" He asked and stormed over to Dylan, gripping an arm and pulling him.

"Henry! Stop this nonsense!" Mr. Dexwell said and angrily made his way towards Henry. Henry slammed the bottle he held against the wall, startling us all, he pointed it at Mr. Dexwell and dared him to take another step.

"Whatever happened to him was no one's fault except his! He ruined his own life! He gave it his all like I fucking cared about that shit. Claudia brought me back to my senses, I talked to her earlier after throwing her out and now I see that all Dylan has made me is weak, a fag like him. But I have come back to my senses, I NEVER FUCKING LOVED YOU! YOU MAKE ME SICK, YOU IRRITATE ME, I LOVE CLAUDIA! YOU DISGUST ME AND YOU FUCKING RUINED MY LIFE! MY FRIENDS ABANDONED ME!" He yelled with so much pain in his voice. Bonnie took a step forward and Grandma Athena quickly held her hand, stopping her from doing anything. "I WISH I HAD DIED RATHER THAN MEETING A DEMON LIKE YOU! YOU AND JONATHAN SHOULD HAVE FUCKING ENDED UP TOGETHER BECAUSE YOU ARE BOTH CRAZY, YOU ARE BOTH MENTALLY DERANGED! FUCKING RETARDED! Wanna known something? I have always loved Claudia, always." He said with so much venom as he stared at Dylan and suddenly, Jon punched him hard, hitting the bottle away from his hand.

Mr. Dexwell quickly rushed to Henry and pulled him up, he punched him once, twice, thrice and then I called out to him.

"Please stop! Just get him o-out of here."

"Matthew," Grandma Athena called. "As much as I want you to hit him till he bleeds, throw him out of here."

I angrily walked up to Henry, looked him in the eye, his face hardened. I rose my hand and slapped him hard across the face. "I stood up for you! I fucking said you couldn't have done this on purpose and this is what you do?" I said in a trembling voice. "I can't believe I actually had hope."

"Get out." Bonnie ordered. "Get out of my house and never return." She said and once Henry didn't make any move, she screamed. "GET THE FUCK OUT!!!"

"Get out!!" Jon said and pulled Henry by the collar and dragged him out like an overprotective older brother would. He was too furious and I had to follow him to stop him from killing a drunk Henry. Once Jon got out, he threw Henry to the ground and kept punching him continuously, angry as fuck.

"Jon!!" Raven yelled.

"Jon, that's enough!" Grandma Athena said from the door.

"Jon, stop!!" I ran to him and pulled him off Henry who was already bleeding from his mouth. "Let's go!"

"If you fucking come close to Dylan, I'll kill you." He said as I pulled him into the house and closed the door, locking it.

"If I see him anywhere, I will kill him, and no one will be there to save him." Jon said before walking back upstairs.

I swallowed. "Fuck."

"If he fucking returns, I'll slit his wrists!!" Bonnie yelled from upstairs. "And I fucking mean it!"

Henry's P.O.V

I knocked on my mother's room door before opening it, she looked away from the television in her room and at me.

"Mama." I called softly, my throat tightening.

She looked away from me and back at the television like I didn't exist.

"Mama, please." I said as I walked over to her, I sat on the floor beside her, the tears falling from my eyes. "Mom please, I need you. I don't know what to do and I...I'm broken." I said as I rested my head on her lap. "I'm sorry, mom. I'm sorry." I cried.

I felt her hand on my head and heard her sniff. "It's okay, sweetie. I know you didn't mean to do what you did, I was...I was just mad that history was repeating itself and I couldn't stop it." She cried.

"I'm sorry, mom. I don't know what to do," I cried. "I don't know what to do."

She placed her hand on both sides of my face and made me look up at her, she frowned in worry and touched my bruised lip.

I winced.

"Henry," her eyes were filled with tears which threatened to fall. "What happened?"

"I did something bad, mom."

"What did you do?"

"The Dexwells and everyone hate me now."

"Henry, what did you do?"

"I had to help Dylan get better, I h...ad to do something, s....something to make him cry. Jaxton said it was the only way to get him back and I-" I trailed off as my throat closed up, I placed my head back on her lap as I cried like a baby again. "I hurt him again."

"Oh, hijo." She ran her hand through my hair continuously. "It's going to be okay, sweetie."

"They are better off w-without me."

"No, they are not. You are the light in Dylan's life and Dylan is the light in your life, you both complete each other and we are going to make this work, okay?" She said, her voice breaking.

I had ruined him all over again, only to save him.

Flashback.

"Dylan won't get better unless you do what you have to." Jaxton said, staring right at me.

"What are you talking about?" I asked, confused. "How is he? Is he better now?"

"He's not, Henry. Dylan has dissociative disorder and he might remain the way he is for a long time if we don't do something, it could affect his mental state."

"What do I have to do? I wanna help." I said, eagerly.

"You need to make him cry."

I frowned. "What?"

"Dylan needs to cry and the only way he can do that is through you, the words that come out of the boy he loves the most. The hurtful words."

I shook my head. "No! I am trying to have Dylan trust me and mend my relationship, not ruin it the more."

"Dylan's life," he took a step towards me. "Is in your hands, Henry. He's drowning and very soon, he'll stop breathing, and that will be on you."

I swallowed.

"So man up! I know it's hard, I do and I know whatever happened isn't your fault but you need to do this or Dylan won't ever get better and will always be on that bed, so maybe you should do what you have to, to get him back and then we can mend your relationship."

I looked up at him. "We?"

He nodded. "Yes, we. Grandma Athena and I will help you, I'll tell her about this the second I get home, she's gonna have to stop Dylan's mom from attacking you."

"I have to hurt him to save him?" I asked, my voice breaking.

Jaxton nodded. "I'm sorry but only you can do this,"

"Wait, you said Grandma Athena will have to stop Dylan's mom from attacking me, why? Isn't she gonna know too?"

"No." He shook his head. "Because Dylan can spot a fake act, we need everyone to be as real as they can get and the only way is if they don't know."

"This complicates everything."

"I know, but we all gotta do what we have to." He muttered. "And I'll be slapping you so, I'm sorry in advance."

Jaxton's P.O.V

It had to have worked, it was supposed to but Dylan hadn't cried yet. Bonnie had thrown a tantrum and kept saying she didn't understand why Henry would say such, one minute she was trying to understand him and the next, she wanted to kill him immediately.

Mr. Dexwell was furious too, he could literally rip someone's head off, he was mad at Henry, at himself for trusting the boy, and for being confused. He blamed himself and I wanted to tell them all this was just part of the plan I made up but Grandma Athena said to say nothing yet, at least till Dylan cries.

That was three hours ago, it's 11:46pm and nothing yet. Raven had gone home after she had gotten several calls from her father and we had convinced Jon to go home and get some rest, to return tomorrow. Dylan's house was like my own house too, I needed to be here when he cried, if he cried and so I stayed.

"I don't know what to do." Bonnie said, her hands on both side of her head, massaging them.

"You should get some rest." Mr. Dexwell said and she shook her head.

"I'm not tired."

"You are, you need rest, so go." Mr. Dexwell pressured.

"Listen to your husband, Bonnie, you need some rest." Grandma Athena said.

I went to the kitchen, filling up a glass of water and going back to the living room, handing it to Bonnie who took it with a smile.

"Thank you, sweetie." She said before gulping it all.

"See, tired." Mr. Dexwell said and for the first time, Bonnie smiled a little.

I took the glass from her and went into the kitchen, I rested against the sink with a sigh, massaging my neck.

"You should sleep too." Grandma Athena said and I opened my eyes.

"I wish I could."

"You have school tomorrow, get some rest."

"And you're old, Grandma Athena, you should get some rest too." I said with a smile.

She chuckled. "I wish I could."

I snickered.

"I thought it'd work." She sighed.

I nodded. "Me too. And now Henry's on their bad page, I wish I hadn't gone to him, asked him to do this." I sighed, regretfully.

"It was worth the try, you wanted to help." Grandma Athena said, offering me that warm smile of hers.

"I just hate seeing Dylan like that, look that helpless, numb, it's...cruel." I swallowed, trying not to cry anymore.

"Dylan's my baby, every time I see him like that, I feel like I die." Grandma Athena said and shut her eyes. "It's painful."

"I should tell Mr and Mrs. Dexwell that Henry was only doing what I asked them to do, I mean, the boy doesn't deserve the hate."

"True." She agreed. I walked up to her and gave her a tight hug.

"You're the best, Nana."

"I know, sweet child."

I chuckled and pulled away, walking to the living room to tell Dylan's parents that Henry was just acting and didn't mean any of what he said.

But as I passed the stairs, a loud scream from upstairs made my body turn cold and I froze. My eyes bulged out of their socket once that voice filled the house.

"Jaxton," Grandma Athena called and I swiftly turned to her.

"It's Dylan."

Author's note!

What? Another cliff? Noooo. Leemao. Oh well, this was fun writing.

Oh my God, I wanted to finish this book last month and I couldn't. Ugh, fuck me!

Anyways, hi guys!!!! Missed me?

I'm sorry I have been away for centuries, I had to get myself back. They say writers write to escape reality and that is what I do but recently, I forgot how to write cause I was trying to get over the trauma I experienced. So, I don't know how to tell you all this cause I'm ashamed of myself and of what happened but I got taken advantage of, and yes, in the way you're thinking. I may or may not have had a guy force himself on me which made me almost kill myself, that is embarrassing. Um, I've been through shit, I said I would never cut and I did but only once, I swear. I'll probably delete this later, maybe, because I don't want you guys feeling pity for me, I'm not worth it. I mean, it was all my fault, I let that happen. What happened to Dylan in this chapter has been how I felt, like a stranger to my own body, my mental health wasn't great, I would go numb for days and then cry at night and just want everything to stop but I didn't know how to stop it. I gave up on humanity and all my hopes got flushed down the toilet.

I'm thankful to you all for your support, your kind words that made me smile, cry. You guys never pressurized me, never forced me for an update and you don't know how happy that despite not knowing what was happening to me, you guys understood and I love you all for that, I love you guys forever.

Let me know your favorite part of this chapter and uh, yeah please don't stop voting and commenting. I need all the votes I can get and oh, thank you for 300k reads!!!!!! I luff you all!!!!
