"Mom, I'm going!!" I said as I ran down the stairs.

"Breakfast is ready!" Mom announced from the kitchen and I sighed as I held my backpack.

"I'm not hungry, ma." I said as I approached the table where my parents were.

"Oh come on, you didn't even have dinner last night." Dad said and I shrugged.

"I ate at Henry's, I was full." I replied and sat on the table.

"Woah!!" My parents exclaimed once their eyes finally set on me, I frowned at them as I picked up an apple.

"Why are you both looking at me and looking at yourselves like you've seen some sort of ghost." I asked once they exchanged looks.

"You look more like someone sent from hell to cause chaos." Mom said and I smirked.

"Thank you."

"Not a compliment." She shook her head.

"More like he's from Matrix." Dad added and I grinned.

"Mom, I think I'm starting to love Dad more than you." I said as I took a bite from my apple.

She gasped. "No!"

Dad smirked. "Deal with it." He said and winked at her, Mom glared at him.

"Anyways, why the black?" Mom asked and I shrugged, taking another bite from the apple.

"I just...feel like it." I replied and wiggled my brows at her.

"Isn't that too much?" Mom asked, arching a brow.

I was only dressed in black leather pants, a black top and a black leather jacket and maybe my boots were black as well but that was just it, it's not so bad.

"Is that-" Dad leaned closer. "Is that eye liner?"

"Does it look good on me?"

"You look badass." Dad said and I grinned.

"See mom, Dad is slowly taking your place." I said and stood up.

"Are you coming home after school?" Mom asked after rolling her eyes.

"Uh, I might hang out at Henry's first."

"To teach the Claudia girl a lesson?" Mom asked arching a brow.

"To make her know who owns Henry." I answered with a smirk. "I gotta go." I said and picked up my backpack.

"Need a ride? Your father can drop you." Mom said and Dad frowned.

"I'm not done eating." Dad complained, his mouth full.

"Matthew, take him to school." Mom scolded. "I packed enough lunch for you."

Dad pouted. "But...food."

"Matthew."

Dad groaned and stood up. "Fine." He said and picked up his lunch. "Love you." He muttered with a frown as he began walking away.

"I love you too, babe." Mom replied.

I chuckled, their relationship was definitely one of the best. I said my farewells to mom and Davina and left the house.

"You okay?" Dad asked as I undid my seatbelt.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean...your...outfit change. It's obvious, your mom's worried."

I smiled. "I'm fine, Dad. I just got myself back."

Dad gave me a look and slowly nodded. "oookay," he dragged. "Do take care of yourself." Dad said and I smiled.

"Of course."

"When I say take care of yourself, I mean don't kill anyone." He said, furrowing his brows.

I smirked. "No promises,"

"Dylan." He scolded.

"I will try." I nodded.

"That's good enough," Dad shrugged. "Say hi to Raven and Jaxton for me."

"I will." I said as I opened the car door and walked out, shutting the door and walking towards the school, smiling cause I felt so good.

I walked into the school with a smile on my face, of course kids were staring, I knew but ignored because I mean, what was the bSt thing to do? Besides, I'm upgraded.

I stood in the hall and eyes all pierced me, I smirked as I noticed the attention i got from looking like something out of resident evil. I noticed Jax and Raven talking but then Jaxton's jaw dropped as I approached them, Raven looked confused and followed his gaze and her eyes landed on me and her eyes widen.

"Good morning, best friend." I greeted as I stood in front of them.

Jax blinked. "Did you...Did you see that walk?" Jax asked, hitting Raven's arm and with a frown, she elbowed him. "Ow!"

"Yes, Jaxton, I did see it!" She said before turning to me. "Why do you look like the son of darkness! Wait! That is you, sorry." Raven sighed. "What's up with the change?"

"You look....way different."

I grinned. "I decided a little change would do me good." I shrugged.

"Yeah, and the whole school is staring." Jaxton said and Raven snapped her fingers in realization.

"Now I know what you look like!"

"Who?" I arched my brow.

"The Dark Angel! That's it. Covered in darkness but got light hair, you are the one true dark lord, your majesty." Raven said and did a little bow and I laughed. "I like the change."

"Well, a little darkness wouldn't hurt." I said with a smirk as we walked down the hall, with me in the middle this time.

"I see the therapy is really working." Jaxton said and my brows furrowed.

"Yeah," I smiled once I thought of Johnathan. "I guess it is."

"Who's your therapist? Doctor doom? Maleficent?" Raven asked and I huffed.

"If only." I said as we passed Bruce's locker and once he looked at me i smirked wickedly. "I mean, If she was my therapist, I'd be putting a lot of students to sleep and guess who's gonna be one of them,"

"Who?" Jax asked with a frown and just then I felt it and I quickly moved Raven aside and twirled, going behind Bruce who was probably about to push me or do something stupid, I gripped his arm and held his behind his back.

I smirked as Bruce winced, looking dumbfounded and shocked at the sudden movement just like every other person. "Bruce Walker." I finished and pulled his arm upper and he screamed.

"Ow! Ow! Ow!"

I pushed Bruce against the locker and kicked him in his junk, he let out a shout as he placed his hands at his baby maker.

"Don't you get tired of being such a dick?" I asked and folded my arms. "Seriously, you are becoming a nuisance."

"F-Fuck y-you." He stuttered.

"I'm sorry, could you repeat that? Oh wait, don't. I don't speak garbage." I smiled.

"I will kill you."

"Yeah, sure. Why are you after me, Bruce? Are you secretly gay and mad that I don't love you? That I choose Henry because you love me? Do you have a crush on me, Bruce?" I asked and laughed as he scowled at me.

"You are sick. You'll pay for trying to humility me."

"Said every fucking bully ever!" I rolled my eyes. "why do you all say the same thing? Can I read your dumb manual? Seriously." I snorted.

"You!" He approached me and drew his arm back, he was about to punch me but I caught his fist while Jaxton gasped, expecting his fist to kiss my face.

I smirked. "Don't you ever think I would let you hit me. Ever." I said and pushed his hand aside, I walked closer to him and cocked my head to the side. "You wanna know what I know?" I asked, cocking my brows. "I know something that you think is a secret." I said as I stood by his side, I leaned closer to his ear, whispering what he thought no one knew and when I pulled away, Bruce looked as pale as a dead body and he was practically shaking, he swallowed, trying to still look cool and I grinned inn satisfaction.

"Now you know," I smiled. "Don't come after me or my friends or bully any kid ever, Bruce or everyone will now." I said and folded my arms. "And don't even try to kill me because I will kill you," I laughed. "Now, run along." I ordered, he glared at me and I arched my left brow. "Didn't you hear me? Take your dogs and get the hell out of my face." I said firmly and with a gulp, Bruce looked at his boys.

"Come on, let's go."

One of them frowned. "Wait, what? You're taking orders from this-"

"Let's fucking go!" He roared and walked away, his minions followed.

I smiled evilly as I watched them go, Raven and Jatxon walked over to me, looking confused and intrigued.

"What just happened? Did you just-" Jaxton looked way confused and was trying obviously to wrap his head around what just happened.

"What do you know about Bruce that got him all shaken up?" Raven asked, curiously. I placed my hand on her shoulder and shrugged.

"Cause two can keep a secret if one of them is dead." I sang and patted her shoulder before walking away.

I was walking down the hall with a blank expression when I saw Mrs. Higgins coming my way; just in case you forgot whom that was, it's the old hag who loved to give students detention for coming to her class late or for any reason. It was funny how once we got to a new class, I barely noticed her, I didn't even know she was still here.

She faked a smile once she saw me and I did the same really tried to ignore her existence by walking past her but of course, Mrs. Higgins being a bitch and wanting to say something mean cause that was what she did best, stopped me.

"Dylan," she called and I stopped on my heels, I rolled my eyes and turned to her, faking a smile.

"Mrs. Higgins. Still the same, I see." I said with a smile.

She was dressed in an ash colored skirt and a black shirt and flats.

"It's been a while since I last saw you and I've felt nothing but joy in those days but I must say, It's such a delight seeing you." She said with a blank expression.

"I wish I could say the same but your face haunts me all the time and all I want to do is not see you."

Her brows knitted. "That is no way to speak to an elder."

I snorted. "Says who? Is that like a law here? Teachers can say shit but not students? Because I don't like that law," I pouted. "And I don't follow laws that disgusts me."

Mrs. Higgins glared. "I always knew you were a rebellious piece of shit and that was why I disliked you."

"Oh I'm sorry, I'm sure you're referring to your miserable seed which people refer to as your son, who is probably seeking salvation because he had you as a mother and that alone is a sin, Mrs. Higgins." I shot, smiling at her.

"That is enough, Dylan Dexwell!" She said, raising her voice and drawing attention. "I didn't call you to insult me or my family so you better be careful what you say next!" She threatened and I sighed.

"You know my name, that is such a nightmare; I guess now I have to change it because when a witch knows your name, nothing good comes from her lips anymore." I said in a firm tone as my smile faded. "But you should know by now that I'm way worse than all your occultic powers conbined." I hissed. "Don't call me or stop me in the halls again, Mrs. Higgins. There are definitely more important things than having a discussion with you like staring at a wall, and if you dare call my parents or report whatever just happened here, you'll be cleaning your desk tomorrow morning, I swear on your dead husband's grave." I said and smiled. "What a lovely talk, thank you." I said and with a shrug and turned, walking away.

I knew she knew I wasn't bluffing but if she wanted to test me, she could go ahead.

"Hello, boys and girls." I greeted as I walked to our table in the cafeteria, I sat close to Henry and kissed him on the lips.

"Hey marshmallow," he smiled but frowned seconds later. "Why do you look like the king of darkness today?"

"Because I am." I shrugged.

"Oh Dylan, you really look hot today." Gwen said and I smiled at her.

"Thank you, I love your black eyeshadow too."

"Aw, thank you." She smiled.

"Are you okay?" Jon asked and I nodded.

"Of course, I'm just...feeling like myself."

"News spread fast that you handled Bruce and his boys." Zach said, looking interested.

"Oh he did," Jaxton replied. "No one knows what he said or what Dylan knows but whatever he has against Bruce, he scared the shit out of him." Jax said as he ate.

"Well, tell us what it is." Jon said and I smirked.

"We tried, he didn't say." Raven said.

"You sure you okay?" Henry asked, whispering to me.

I nodded. "Never better babe."

He smiled and kissed me on the lips.

"You coming over today?" He asked, his hand around my waist.

I nodded. "Of course, you just have to take me home first to get something and then your place."

Henry smiled. "Yes, sir."

"Okay guys, so you all know Halloween is the end of this month!" Jon said and we all turned to him.

"Oh wow, you don't say." Raven said in a blank tone, rolling her eyes.

I chuckled at her response and began to eat Henry's food. "Go ahead, sweetheart."

"Okay so, who's gonna throw a party this year? I mean we have all the party throwers on this table, so?" Jon inquired.

"Well, I think it should be me." Zach said and Raven shook her head.

"No. Dylan has been to a couple of your stupid parties, he's never experienced mine and when I threw one, he was in the upside down and so I'm gonna throw this year's Halloween party and that's final." Raven said and flipped her hair, smiling, her eyes daring anyone to oppose.

"What if Quinn or Eric decides to throw one." Jaxton asked.

"You mean Bruce." Gwen corrected and Jax nodded.

"Yeah sorry, I keep calling him Eric by mistake because he's literally Eric's next of kin in...evil deeds." Jaxton said and Jon nodded.

"I agree."

"In fact, I'm gonna tweet about it right now." Raven said and took out her phone, she began to type real fast and smiled after a couple of seconds. "And sent. Now everyone would be looking forward to my party and anyone who says they are gonna throw a party on the thirty first of this demonic month, they would be ignored."

"Well, now you've gotten your answer, Raven's gonna throw a party." I said and Jon smiled.

"I wonder what I'm gonna wear." Jaxton pouted.

"Halloween is still like....five thousand days away, chill Jax Jax. There's no rush, we'll go shopping together." I said and he grinned.

"Well I can count on you on making me look different." He said and I winked at him.

"Excuse me," Raven frowned at him. "What am I to you? A midwife?"

Everyone laughed.

"Oh come on, I love you." Jaxton said and Raven rolled her eyes.

"Sure."

"So, you and Henry are in drama class?" Gwen brought up and I smiled.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure Henry being in drama class is one of principal Evans scheme." I said as I ate.

"He's a huge Denry shipper," Jaxton grinned. "Your fan base is growing, everyone loves you guys."

"Sometimes I wonder who this everyone you speak of is." Raven said with a sigh.

"Well, we are kinda many. There's me, there's principal Evans, half of the school, you guys and the readers of this book." Jaxton shrugged and we all gave him a confused look.

Raven  groaned. "I don't like when you refer to us as characters, Jaxton, makes me cringe."

"Readers of this book?" Henry asked, just as confused as the rest of us.

"Yeah, I mean," he shrugged. "In case our lives becomes a book sometime? A best selling as a matter of fact!" He smiled. "Trust me, there are many people who would cry their eyes out if Denry ship drowns and i am one of them and if you are, please say hallelujah."

"Hallelujah." Gwen, Jon and Raven said at the same time.

"Jaxton likes to act like he's the main character for some reason, and that we are all characters in his life." Raven sighed.

"You guys are insane." Zach said with a frown.

"Oh come on, stop acting like you don't love us." I said and arched my brow at him. "I remember you clearly saying I was the one for Henry and we were meant to be."

Zach frown deepened like he had found out he was a warlock overnight as he turned to me. "I never said that."

"You did zeddicus, you did." I sang.

"I'd remember if I did."

"Just own it that you love them and stop being a bitch!" Jaxton scolded and we all cooed in surprise.

"Me too." Raven said and sighed. "To think I was such a bitch to Dominic because he looks like a fuckboy, do you guys actually know that I literally have no sense of reasoning?"

"Oh and let's not forget Gwon is a killer couple too." I said and Gwen flipped her hair dramatically and looked at Jon.

"So, everyone of us are cheats on this table." I said, my hands on my hips.

He said, trying to stop himself from laughing, I wiped off my face and students were staring, our table had shocked expressions.

"Oh, you are so dead." I said and picked up the apple juice and sprinkled it at him.

"Oh, that was cool." Jon said with a laugh but Gwen picked up her salad and dumped it on him.

"That's for fucking Dylan."

"Guys," Zach finally spoke. "Don't tell me this is gonna turn into a food fi-"

Zach didn't finish because Henry covered his face with ketchup. "Shut up Zach."

I laughed. "okay, that one was awesome."

We looked at each other for a couple of seconds, communicating telepathically and smirking at each other.

"It's war, isn't it?" Gwen asked as she picked up her plate of food.

"I can't believe I'm doing this too." Raven said and picked hers up.

"Oh, it's war." I said with a grin and threw my food at Gwen.

"FOOD FIGHT!!!!" Jon screamed and then the battle began and everyone in the cafeteria joined because teenagers just loved to waste food on someone's face.

It was fun.

I was happy.

I was with the people I loved.

I had my family.

I was with the best set of people on planet Earth.

I was in detention.

"This is all your fault Jaxton." Raven said with a laugh as she took out a piece of salad on her hair.

I laughed. "We are so messed up."

Everyone laughed.

"I'm covered in ketchup, how is that even possible." Zach said with a chuckle.

"I think you attract red." Jon said and gasped. "Oh wait, Raven's also a redhead." He said and we all laughed.

"Fuck you, Jon!"

"You are covered in food, I could eat you in a non sexual way." I said as I helped take out some food pieces from Henry's hair with a laugh.

He had been smiling since, he kept staring at me and I chuckled. "What?"

"Even when dressed in food?"

"Even when dressed in food." He said and I grinned.

"Stop staring at me." I chuckled.

"You make me happy, I'm literally doing things I never would have and it feels great, thank you, Dylan." He said and I smiled, I got up and sat on his lap.

"I'm always gonna be the light in your life, dear boyfriend."

"And I'm glad." He said and kissed me.

"You taste like rice." I said with a laugh.

"Oh come on, this is detention, not some teenage TV show or power rangers." Mr. Spencer said as he walked in.

I rolled my eyes and got off Henry, sitting next to him.

"Are you sure we aren't the power rangers though?" Raven asked with a pout and I chuckled. "Two girls and four boys. Sums it up."

"I'm obviously the yellow ranger." Gwen said and Jon tsked.

"I think I'm black, oh no wait, Dylan is the black ranger." He said and I smiled.

"We're always special."

"Do you think this is funny." Mr. Spencer said I laughed.

"Sorta."

"Oh okay, let's see how this is gonna be funny to you. You all are gonna clean the cafeteria yourselves."

Everyone whined while I just stared at him.

"Are you kidding me? Come on." Jax whined. "We'll be good, I promise, just let us go." He whined only to burst out laughing afterwards.

"What's funny?" Mr. Spencer asked, getting agitated.

"I'm so sorry, I just remembered when Zach fell." Jaxton said while he laughed and once he mentioned that, we all started laughing, reliving the memory.

"That was funny." Raven said in between laughs.

"It was." Jon said with a nod as he cried out of laughter.

Henry as well was trying to stiffen back his laugh but he was failing.

"You all are so annoying! Cafeteria, NOW!!!" Mr. Spencer screamed and we all got up, we all walked out of the class while trying not to burst out laughing and headed straight to the cafeteria with Mr. Spencer following behind us.

We got to the cafeteria and we stopped laughing for the cafeteria was a complete mess, it was filled with different types of food, everywhere! The walls, the tables, the floors.

"Oh. My. God." Gwen muttered as we stared at the horror movie we were in.

"Get." Mr. Spencer walked to stand in front of us and began handing different cleaning tools to us. "To. Work!" He screamed. "I'll be back in thirty minutes and this better be done!"

"You're freaking kidding, right? This cafeteria is fucking huge, we can't finish in thirty minutes." Raven retorted, frowning at the ridiculous time limit.

"Well, you can take as much time as you want, Missy, I couldn't care less." Mr. Spencer said with a taunting smile. "You all can waste your time here because you are most certainly not going home until you clean up this place!"

"Which means neither are you." I stated and he turned his gaze to me.

"Do I look like I'm ready to go back to my nagging wife?! Definitely not." He said and walked away.

"Jesus, half the teachers in this school are demons." Zach said and Henry slapped his shoulder.

"We better get to work if we want to get home early." Henry said while I just stared at the door, Mr. Spencer had left through.

Why would he want to stay all day in the school?

"Dylan?" Raven called and I turned to her.

"Hmm?"

"Well, we better start." She said with a tired sigh.

"Yeah," I held the mop tight. "I'm sure we can finish this really quick."

I groaned loudly and sat on one of the benches tiredly. "We've been doing this for so long!! How long has it been?!!!!" I asked, practically screaming.

"Dylan, it's been only five minutes." Jaxton said, his hand on his hip.

My eyes widen, "WHAT?!!" I let out a loud cry and placed my head on the table. "I can't do this anymore."

"Well we have no choice." Jon sighed.

"I'm so tired, who the fuck started this?!" Raven asked, looking at everyone of us.

"Jaxton did." I muttered, glaring at him. "You started the food fight."

"I didn't mean to." Jaxton groaned. "I have never been to detention before, my life is suddenly a mess."

"What about that time Principal Evans gave us detention?" Raven cocked her brow at him.

"Well, second time." Jaxton said with a lack of concern before gasping pounding. "Oh My God! It's my second time since I got into highschool! I never get detection! This is bad, It's really bad!" Jaxton said, panicking.

"Oh relax, I don't get detention either." Raven said and Zach laughed.

"Yeah right, you always fight with Quinn, you get detention almost all the time."

"I have only been to detention four times in my entire life, Zachariah." Raven said and rolled her eyes. "Dylan's the one who came into Eastwood today and got a week detention the same week."

"Thanks to Henry here for hitting me with that ball."

"Your face was in the way." Henry said with a shrug.

"Yeaaah, sure, you were such a dick." I replied.

"And now you take it like a pro." Henry said with a shrug and the cafeteria went quiet.

"Ew." Jaxton finally spoke.

"Oh, you dirty boy." I smirked at him.

"Seriously, you guys are weird." Gwen said as she grimaced.

"You know what? How about we have fun while cleaning?" I asked with a shrug.

"What kinda fun?" Jaxton asked, furrowing his left brow. I smirked at him and he smiled in realization.

"Oh my God, they are gonna sing." Raven said as if reading our minds.

"Let's go Glee." I smiled.

"Well, it's better than just cleaning like we just a bunch of Cinderella's." Gwen said with a shrug.

"Yes!!!" Jon threw his hands in the air.

"What are we singing?" Jon asked, grinning widely.

"I'll let Jaxton pick and pick something we all know." I said, pointing at him.

Jaxton grinned as he stared at us, he racked his brain and then suddenly started singing Bad Liar and I smiled at him.

We joined him, leaving our duties and making a whole lot of noise, Henry and Zach watched us like we were mutants, except these mutants were smiling. We were crazy, singing and climbing tables and laughing like there was no tomorrow.

Jaxton tried to do a dance but was doing it wrong and that was when Zach came in and showed him how to do it, Jon was dancing awfully and we couldn't stop ourselves from laughing.

We switched from Bad Liar to Disney songs, I personally started singing Frozen, because i knew Henry knew all the lyrics to that song. So much waste of time, we ended up finishing by five pm and didn't care. "Mr. Spencer wouldn't just easily agree to that." Henry said and I grinned.

"It's a secret." I smirked. "It's not meant to be told."

"You're starting to scare me." Gwen said and I pouted. "I'm glad."

At that moment, the bell rang and I shrugged. "I guess it's time for class."

"I can't wait for this week to be over." Jon muttered.

"Come on babe, we have the same class." I said, dragging Henry with me.

"See y'all at lunch?" Jaxton asked as he quickly walked away.

We all agreed and went to our separate classes.

Today was gonna be a good day.
