Chapter 85.
Henry's P.O.V
"No." I said as I walked up the stairs with my bowl of cereal.
"Henry, come on! Please!" Dyl begged as he followed me.
Dylan was officially my boyfriend, I had gotten scared when he didn't return back to the table for over ten minutes and I'm sure he didn't know it lasted that long.
Apparently, our date went extremely well two days ago. It wasn't easy to put it all together in a day but I wanted to help him, I needed to help him heal from his past cause it was still eating him up and that was why I asked Daniel to help me track a certain crippled Connor that once went to castle high and of course being a nosy brother, he wanted to know why I wanted to track him down or he wouldn't be able to help me and I told him, I expected him to tease me but he didn't and I expected him to say no because of our last fight but he still didn't.
I had not spoken to him since that day and avoided him cause I was mad, he almost told Dylan about my mom. I had made it clear that no one should talk about her or speak her name, or even to think about her face or I'd break their bones one by one and Mary wasn't excluded from that. So hearing him talk to Dylan about it made me mad, made me sad, made me want to break something and made me want to chase Dylan away but I guess my boyfriend's more stubborn than he looks.
Boyfriend.
I liked the sound of that, I liked that he as my boyfriend. Who would have thought that I, Henry Ashcroft would have a boyfriend? It's crazy but it still makes me smile when I remember who's boyfriend I was and who was mine.
Pretty boy.
Two night's ago was a night to always remember just like our first time having sex, homecoming, our first kiss, the first day of green eyes met piercing blue ones, our first dance even though it was a battle, they were things that I couldn't forget and the date was officially one of them.
I was super nervous of course, I've never been nervous about something like this, not that I've ever been to a date before but with Dylan, there was always a first and thankfully he was nervous as well.
It wasn't easy tracking Connor down but Daniel has a lot of 'friends' and when we found them, I spoke to Connor, he irritated me at first when he started saying trash about Dylan but I had to be calm for Dylan... Just for him. He didn't want to speak to me on the phone so I did the one thing I could to get him to listen after he hanged up he first time, I called him back and I threatened to break his arms as well if he dared hang up again and he complied. Simple. So I told him everything, about Johnathan and Dylan and he told me about the flowers which I knew wasn't Dylan's doing. I had him and his brother come over, first flight, first class. I needed them here ASAP and Daniel was surprisingly willing to help me with everything cause according to him 'I was suddenly having a little light in my life'.
That light was this boy, he was happy and I was happy that he was happy that night. I now had a boyfriend, the one I've always wanted. He made me feel like myself especially during date night, I was laughing more than I ever did. I don't even know how that happened, it was all him. The same white haired boy following me and begging me to go to Westbrick with him and his friends for a vacation.
"I'm not going." I said as I walked into my bedroom and straight to my bed.
Dyl sat right in front of me and stared at me while I ate. "Oh come on, you know it's good. We need this vacation. I need it, a time away from hellfire which by the way is this place. Pwease." He pouted.
I smiled at him. "You're so cute," he grinned. "But no." I said and ate a spoonful of cereal.
His grin turned to a frown and he groaned before laying on his side. "You're mean, like really mean." He pouted.
"Dyl, I don't see the reason to go out of town. I mean I have to hang out with Raven who acts like she hates my guts sometimes, I swear we were really cool years ago. I mean we barely talked but she seemed cool and she had no beef with me until...you of course."
"She's overprotective, that's why!! She's just watching out for me."
"I would never hurt you." I said, sincerely.
He smiled. "I know." He said and moved closer to me, I spread my legs a bit so he could sit in between my legs properly, his back resting against my chest. I placed a kiss on his collarbone and inhaled his scent.
"Your friends will be leaving tonight."
He nodded. "Yeah, Taylor called me to come hang out later today before they leave and said to come with my vampire boyfriend." I felt him smile.
"Vampire?" I asked as I chewed, confused.
"You don't show a lot of emotions to people, you know? I'm literally the only one and...I guess Zach who sees and understand how your emotions work."
I smiled. That was true.
"I guess Taylor is...cool?"
"He is. I might not see them for a while so I guess I do have to go say goodbye."
I nodded in understanding.
"You didn't tell me if your parents were mad when I dropped you late?"
He nodded. "For a while but I explained to them why we arrived late and they love you more."
I fought back a smile. "They're nice people."
He nodded in agreement. "They really are and you've stolen their hearts already, for real. I could use you as an excuse to get out of the house and literally get away with it."
"You better not cause i will deny you the way peter denied Jesus."
He laughed. "You wouldn't dare."
"Try me."
He chuckled. "Asshole."
"I'm your asshole."
He turned to me with a frown and laughed. "That sounds so fucking weird." He said before turning back to his position.
"Yeah, I didn't think that through."
He laughed still, a beautiful laugh that made me smile even when embarrassed.
"Anyways...about the vacation."
"No."
"Come on!!" He whined and looked up at me while I looked down to see him pouting again. "We'll be together and we can have sex all the time and there's a hot tub, we can even do it in the hot tub and everywhere." He said as he drew circles on my thigh with his finger and wiggled his brows at me.
This was a tempting offer, to be around him all the time and have sex with him literally all the time till we were drained.
I can't believe I'm letting him talk me into going on that 'trip'. "Okay, I'll think about it and let you know my answer by tonight."
He grinned and swiftly turned to me and gave me a kiss.
"How long are we gonna stay?" I grumbled. "It better not be like a month or something cause then it's a no."
His smile shook a little and he scoffed. "A month? Pfft. No way, we're not staying for a month. Two weeks top." He shrugged.
"Better." I mumbled and kept eating.
"Stop frowning, I promise it'd be fun." He said with a smile as he sat on my lap and cupped my cheeks and kissed me firmly.
"You're gonna be there, of course it'd be fun." I said, offering him a small smile.
"Cheeky." He grinned and kissed me again, it was hot and was doing crazy things to me while I kissed him back, his tongue was getting me hot. The kiss was making me hard and my jeans were getting tighter around that area, my dick ached to be free. I dropped the cereal on the dresser to my left and wrapped my arms around his waist before rolling over instantly making him drop to the bed with a laugh while I laid on top of him with his legs wrapped around me.
"What about your cereal?" He asked, in between laughs.
"You're more important and this...this is too." I said and held his hand and directed it to my bulge, making him feel what he just did.
He giggled. "That was not my intention, I swear." He said, obviously lying.
"Well now I want you." I said and kissed him again, hungrily. He kissed me back, his hands were around my neck as I unzipped his pants and pulled it down, he laughed as he undid my button and dragged my pants down a bit along with my briefs. "Shit, let me get the condom." I said and turned to move when he grabbed my hand, stopping me and making me turn back to him in confusion.
"It's not like you have an infection," he shrugged. "Plus we're boyfriends now and I get can't pregnant, and...I heard doing it raw is so much better than using a condom."
My eyes widen. "You wanna do it raw?"
"Oh my God, no, stupid. I was just messing with you. Get the damn condoms."
"Why can't we do it without condoms?"
"Boy, do you not know how gay sex works and the infections?"
He pouted, looking clueless. "I know." He lied.
"Wrong answer. There are many fucking types of infections, dear pansexual boyfriend, and—"
"Dylan," I interjected and he looked at me with those blue eyes.
"Shut up." I said and kissed him. His hands cupped my face as he kissed back and I felt him smile.
"You know what?" He looked at me seductively. "Just fuck me." He breathed.
"Right," I responded and spat in my hand before rubbing it on my length. I wasn't gonna go look for the lube, I wanted him now, right here and at the second and I was gonna.
***
"It's only fair you see them." Dylan said with a shrug as we approached his door, I nodded with a smirk and grabbed his ass. He gasped and turned to me. "I thought you were gonna spank, don't. I'm still a bit sore cause you know, you went full wolf on me and like I said," he smirked. "Raw sex is the best, thankfully we're both guys and we don't have to worry about me getting pregnant." He said making me smile, he opened the door and walked in before me. I closed the door and followed him to the living room where his parents were and two other men, one was that Gwen's uncle and the other was a policeman.
"Hey paren..." Dylan trailed off and a frown appeared on his face. "Detective Fisher, hi?" He blinked, looking just as confused as I was. "What are you doing here?"
I could instantly sense the tension in the room, the...fear. His parents looked worried but tried to play it cool and I knew Dylan had caught up to this emotion.
"Hi Baby." Bonnie grinned
"What's going on?"
"Nothing sweetie." Bonnie answered and stood up, she walked up to us with a smile that was definitely fake and gave me a hug. "Henry, how are you?"
"I'm good." I wasn't used to hugs from other people cause it made my skin crawl but Bonnie was a hugger and I was getting used to her.
"What's going on?" Dylan asked again.
"Baby, it's-"
"Don't tell me its nothing, momma. You guys are clearly hiding something from me and it's kinda obvious. I can smell the lie and pretense in the air so don't even say it's nothing. What's going on? Why is Detective Fisher and a policeman here?" He demanded. "D-Did Johnathan e-escape?" That made me frown.
"No." Detective Fisher answered. "He didn't."
"Then why the long faces like someone died? Is Daphne dead?"
"No." Detective Fisher answered.
"George?" Dylan asked making me smirk.
"N-No, no one died." He sighed.
"Tell us what happened?" I finally spoke. I didn't like how I felt this was bad.
Bonnie sighed and looked at Detective Fisher, giving him a nod. He nodded back and stood up, he picked up a bunch of papers and handed it to Dylan. "We found these in Johnathan's cell."
Dylan frowned and took the papers from him before looking at me, looking confused just like I was. He glanced at the first paper and his eyes widen before going through the second and the third and everyone of it. The blood on his face drained almost instantly, his eyes and his mouth were frozen wide open in an expression of shock. It made me worry in concern, he let out short breaths and I took the papers from him, he looked at me, a word not leaving his mouth.
I stared at the papers and I suddenly felt cold, my brain was scrambling to make sense of it all. There were about twenty papers with me and all of them had drawings, drawings of Dylan. Perfectly drawn photos of Dylan. There were drawings of Dylan smiling, laughing, crying. Drawings of him and Dylan, some of just Dylan's eyes, some were not complete. And one of them had the both of them drawn in suit, smiling with the words 'happily married' boldly written above it.
I frowned.
It was scary, creepy. It gave me chills and I wondered how worse Dylan felt.
This was obsession.
Johnathan was obsessed. He was obsessed with Dylan.
"What the fuck?" I couldn't hide the shock on my face. "How many of this did he draw?"
"Fifty three." Detective Fisher stated making my brows knit in shock. "There are fifty three drawings of Dylan and then some of you and his friends."
"Fifty three?" Dylan breathed. "He...He made f-fifty three drawings of me? That's...interesting." He chuckled and placed his hands on his waist. "He's a good artist, I'll give him that." He smiled.
He was doing that thing he always did, pretending to be okay. Pretending not to be scared when he was.
"Dylan, this isn't a joke." His mom said.
"Well forgive me if I don't know how to react after seeing about twenty sketches of me and also finding out there's more. Fifty three drawings of me to be precise." He specified. "Like that isn't magnifying." He sarcastically replied.
I was worried about him, he wasn't okay.
"You said there were others of me and his friends?" I asked, curiously.
Detective fisher nodded and looked at the cop sitting on the couch, he walked over to Dylan's dad and took the papers from him and handed them to Detective Fisher who then handed it to Dylan first, Dylan took them swiftly and looked at them. The way he had snatched the papers made me frown but then realized something as well. His hands were shaking and he didn't want anyone to know.
Dylan let out a shaky breath as he took a few steps away from where he stood while he went through the papers and I looked back at Detective Fisher.
"He's lost it. He's obsessed. This is dangerous. What are you guys doing about it?" I inquired.
"We're working on it already, he's been taken to a mental hospital with excess security to watch him. His obsession with Dylan is worse, one I haven't seen. This is mania."
I swallowed hard and watched Bonnie let out a sigh as she ran a hand through her hair. "God, why us?" She asked softly. Mr. Dexwell stood up and walked over to her, wrapping his arm around her shoulder.
"Don't stress yourself, babe. You're pregnant." He said calmly.
"The last thing he needs is to be worked up by this, he had to know but it's always one trouble after the other like we're cursed." Bonnie replied, panic in her tone.
"It's gonna be fine. We're not cursed." Mr. Dexwell assured her.
"You sure about that?" Bonnie rhetorically asked.
Dylan came back with a sigh and handed the drawings to me. "At least he is a good artist, right?"
"Dylan, not now!" Bonnie said in annoyance.
I took the sketches and stared at everyone of them, some had me drawn with horns. One had me drawn at the left, Dylan in the middle and Johnathan at the right and had my face circled severally. One was of Raven with uncolored blood dripping from her face, one of her screaming and one of Jaxton laying dead on the floor. Jon had his mouth taped with deceiver written on it.
This was madness.
"If he gets out, they're all in danger. All four of them!" Matthew stated, angrily. He was right, if Johnathan was to escape from that mental hospital everyone was in danger.
Detective fisher nodded. "I know, that's why we have extra security there. Extra eyes watching whatever he's doing and following him to wherever he's going. The institute is guided." He assured us and I held Dylan's shaking hand tightly.
"You're sure." Bonnie asked, I could hear the worry in her voice.
He nodded. "Yes. Apparently, we found out that Johnathan has been mentally ill for a while."
Dylan frowned. "Is that breaking news?"
"He's had that for a while, he stopped taking his meds after some time and I guess it got to his head, plus no one was aware of it and no medication was given to him in the cell."
I frowned as I took in all this information, I looked at Dylan and saw him deep in thought as he listened, like he knew something.
"It's worse now." Detective Fisher announced. "His cellmate saw the sketches and this," he walked to the couch and picked up a photograph, handing it to Dylan. I looked at it, it was a photo which had been torn, a photo of Dylan laughing at something while sitting on a booth, staring at someone who was cut out.
Dylan shook his head in disbelief as he took his hand away from mine to hold the photo with both hands. "No way. T-This is i-impossible," he stuttered. "I remember this," he said and looked back at Detective Fisher. "This was when I newly moved to Eastwood, I went out on a date with Christian here. Johnathan wasn't even in Eastwood at that time so how did he...?" He trailed off, confused and surprised.
"He had someone watching you." I muttered in realization, frowning as well. and their eyes all went to me.
"What?" Dylan asked softly.
Detective Fisher nodded. "He's right. He had someone keeping an eye on you here."
"Okay, that's just....over the board of madness!!" Bonnie exclaimed.
"He's crazy." Dylan frowned. "I had just moved to Eastwood then, how is it...." He sighed.
"It was the incident at the cell that made us find out about this, I had to dig for answers." Detective Fisher said.
"What incident?" Dylan asked, curiously.
"Johnathan caught his roomie going through his stuffs which are....these, and he got mad. He launched at him and stabbed him in the eye repeatedly..." his brows shot up "With a pencil for looking at you." He added.
Okay Bonnie was right, he has totally lost it.
Dylan folded his arms as if suddenly cold.
"His cellmate is blind in one eye now. Johnathan is dangerous at this moment."
Dylan nodded. "This is...creepy."
"You don't need to worry, we'll watch over him. He's not getting away. Try to take your mind off this." Detective Fisher assured us.
Dylan huffed. "I should try not to think of the fact that a psychopathic maniac is obsessed with me and might come after me? Of course, how could I?" He sarcastically replied.
"He drew about six extra when you came to see him in jail."
Bonnie blinked as her brows flew up. "Um, excuse me? See him in jail?" She repeated and looked at Dylan. "You went to see Johnathan when we told you not to? Dylan! Are you fucking kidding me? You knew why you shouldn't have gone there!" She yelled.
"How was I to know that he was insane and obsessed with me? It wasn't written on his forehead." He yelled back, surprisingly. Obviously frustrated.
"Don't use that tone on your mother." His dad scolded and Dylan just rolled his eyes.
"Why the fuck would you go see that sick individual, Dylan? Why?"
He said nothing.
I was just as angry as his mother, but I said nothing.
"What'd he say to you?" Fisher asked.
"He just said he..." He looked at me and I frowned at that. "He said he was in love with me and has always been cause we were the same and I understood him more than any other person and that I was...his." He shrugged and I was surprised hearing this, I was mad that he didn't tell me about this. "He said he'd get out and he'll kill..." He sighed. "He'll kill Henry. Said no one was meant to have me, only....him and a bunch of other crap." He shrugged again.
"Oh," Bonnie painfully laughed. "And you didn't think to tell us?"
"I didn't think it mattered. Plus, look how you're reacting just by finding out that I went there, how could I have told you?" He replied.
"You didn't have to go, there was no need for you to go see him!" His dad groaned.
"I didn't know."
"They're right, you shouldn't have gone. You being around him triggers him the more. You own like eighty percent of his brain." Detective Fisher said and Dylan ran a hand through his hair with a sigh.
"Well, next time, someone tell me I'm the Scarlett witch so I know to be careful." Dylan threw his hands up in annoyance.
"Dylan, you—". Mr. Dexwell stopped Bonnie from finishing her sentence. She was furious.
"Now is not the time to be sarcastic, Dylan." Matthew said.
"So what could be the other twenty?" I asked, despite being mad, I still wanted to know.
"Probably just some dark place, like revenge and the sketches." The other cop spoke for the first time, I actually thought he was mute. "It took three cops to be able to handle Johnathan, he didn't like that the drawing and especially the photo was being taken away from him. The other twenty is filled with one determination. The other papers of you, the girl and the other boy." He said, he looked like he expected me to freak out like every other person but I just appeared stoic, not giving anyone a chance to know how I felt and it made him frown a bit that I wasn't showing any sign of panic .
Bonnie sighed. "Oh God."
"So, he's gonna try to hurt them." Dylan chuckled, sadly.
"He can't. He's getting treatment and he'll be back to normal and back to jail."
"You say that like it's a headache or a leg injury." I finally spoke.
Dylan scoffed. "That guy is like Jason from Friday The 13th, he doesn't just heal."
"Did he attack you?" Fisher asked with a frown and I frowned as well, turning to look at Dylan.
Dylan rubbed his neck. "No. I mean h-he just grabbed my hand and didn't want to let me go, that's all." I felt my jaw clench. "I knew at that moment that something was wrong with him. That he wasn't...worse. I always thought it was just Johnathan being a fucking dick and a cunt, but apparently it's worse."
I was pissed and said nothing, swallowing angrily cause he didn't tell me any of this. I clenched my fists tightly at the thought of Johnathan hurting Dylan, at the thought of all of this. I was mad. I wanted to break his legs. Why didn't Dylan tell me about this?
"We'll be upstairs." I heard Dylan say once I felt his hand hold my fist, bringing me back to my senses. He looked at me and pulled me with him up the stairs and to his room.
***
Dylan's P.O.V
I knew he was mad at me, I could see it in his eyes. He wasn't saying anything, his fist was clenched and his jaw kept twitching as he just stared with the darkest expression.
"Don't be mad."
"I'm not." He said firmly.
"You have that expression like someone killed your cat."
"I don't have a cat."
"That's because someone killed it and you're mad because you think it's me." He responded.
"What am I supposed to do, Dylan? You didn't tell me all that."
"I told you I went to see Johnathan."
"You didn't tell me the other things!!" I found myself raising my voice angrily.
"What was I supposed to do? How was I supposed to bring that up on our date? It was already bad that I had a panic attack, how could I tell you all that stuff? I'm helpless here, Henry! I am losing my mind. I knew something was wrong with him but I didn't know it was him being a sociopath." I yelled, my lips trembling.
"I have a mentally ill guy obsessed with me. Draws me perfectly and even gets the cheekbones right, he has drawings of my friends dead and your face keeps being shaded cause he hates you and I should have taken his threats seriously but I didn't and he's gonna come after every one of us if the devil decides to favor him and let's him escape." I ranted, frustrated with everything. "My life is a mess, there's always one problem after the other so please don't be mad at me because I can't deal with that too."
His expression softened, he sighed and walked up to me and wrapped his arms around me. I was shaking, I just saw the most horrible thing ever and it made all my senses heighten. I was scared. I am scared.
"We just got together, and we can't even have a little peace." I muttered against his chest and he kissed my head.
"I know you're scared, anyone in your shoes will be."
"You don't look scared." I said and pulled away to look at him.
He smiled. "I am worried about you. I'm not scared because I'll crush his windpipe before he could even do anything and I'm always gonna protect you, that's my promise to you. We're gonna be there for each other and I'll make sure he doesn't harm you, the cops are doing their best to make sure he never escapes and I'll make sure to get a feedback from them to know what's going on." He said and cupped my cheeks. "I'm not gonna let that maniac hurt you. You're my responsibility now. Even before we became boyfriends and that doesn't mean I'm calling you helpless, I'm just saying that no matter what I'm gonna be there for you and I'm not gonna let anything happen."
"I don't want him to hurt you too."
"He won't." Henry smiled. "And you can also protect me too, I'm gonna need my boyfriend's protection too." He said with a shrug and I chuckled before resting my head on his chest and wrapping my arms around him. He did the same, his jaw placed on mine.
"Should I tell Raven and Jaxton?"
"If I were them, I'd want to know too, so yeah."
I nodded. "I'll let them know." I muttered. "I'm worried about you."
I was.
I wasn't all worried about myself, I was worried about Henry and my friends. If Johnathan could draw those things then he meant it.
"I can take care of myself." He chuckled.
I swallowed.
"I'll kill him if he hurts you."
"He wouldn't dare." Henry said, as he kissed my head again.
He would.
He would dare.
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you about he said, I don't even know why I went to see him. He looked," I sighed. "He looked really unwell and I should have known that he wasn't okay upstairs. I can't believe he's been keeping tabs on me. Watching me."
"I know, its scary."
"It is." I sighed. "I've got a crazy stalker, talk about a normal teenage life."
Henry chuckled. "You are normal"
"Yeah, so normal." I sarcastically replied. "My life is an everyday drama. I should be a book or a Tv show, it'd be depressing."
"Oh shush."
I pulled away to give him a look.
"It's not depressing, it's just....dramatic." He shrugged and I chuckled.
"It's dramatically depressing."
"Hmm, that makes sense." Henry pouted a little and I laughed.
"You're so cute."
"Shut up." I giggled.
"I'll go to Westbrick with you." He suddenly said and my eyes widened in shock.
"Are you just saying that my life is really that horrible."
"Not that. You were right, we do need that vacation. You need to be away from this mess. There's so much drama here, it never ends. That's not what we need right now, especially with a psychopath who wants you. So, let's go to Westbrick."
I smiled and placed a chaste kiss on his lips before hugging him again since I felt safer in his arms. "Thank you." I muttered.
"It'd be good for me too and besides, we'll have multiple sex right?"
I chuckled and looked back at him. "Yeah,"
"Yeah?" Henry grinned.
I nodded and he kissed me again, we were both smiling.
"Stay here, I'll be right back. I need to speak with Detective Fisher. You'll be okay?" He asked.
I nodded. "Yeah, I promise not to get kidnapped."
Henry shook his head at me and ruffled my hair before walking out of my room, closing the door behind me.
My smile disappeared once he was out and I pulled out one of the drawings I had hid in my pocket and stared at it again. It was a drawing of Henry with a gunshot injury on his forehead with the words 'first target' written beside it.
This was what scared me. Johnathan was gonna come for him first. Henry wouldn't be able to break his bones if he was going to use a gun and shoot him with it. I had to hide it from him, I didn't want him to get worked up over my mess. I knew he was worried for me, I could clearly see it in his eyes. He wasn't the only one who needed to speak to Detective Fisher.
***
"So, we're on a murder list." Raven said, trying to take the info in.
"Oh God." Jax breathed, panicking.
"We've got the angel of death coming for us." Jon scratched his head.
We were all sitting on my bed, I had called them over two hours later, Henry has cuddled with me for a while until he got a call from Daniel, he didn't want to go but I couldn't be selfish now even when I wanted to be and besides I needed to tell them.
"And he's crazy." Raven stated, I nodded. "I kinda am not surprised about that part."
"What'd you mean?" I asked, confused.
"Okay," she sighed. "You know when Johnathan was still coming over. The night he almost strangled me?"
Jax and I nodded.
"He looked...different. He was scary. He looked like the monster everyone has inside them except his was out and was in full sage mode. His laughter, the way he almost killed me in my own parent's house was scary. What was traumatic was his act. His eyes had nothing in them, not even the pretense or the evilness one has. It was....empty." She explained and I felt sorry for her and what she went through cause she looked like she was reliving it, I held her hand.
Jax let out a sigh. "We have a crazy maniac after us."
"He's locked up." I muttered.
"Thankfully and if he dares to try and escape I'll stab him in the eye like he did to his roomie." Raven said angrily.
"I still can't wrap my head around this." Jax sighed. "I hate this town."
"Me too." Jon agreed.
"Me three." I replied as well.
"I need that vacation." Jax groaned.
"Me too." Jon sighed.
"Me three." I mumbled.
"You guys sound so depressed." Raven grimaced.
"I'm so glad you're coming with us." I said to Jon.
"Oh, I'm not. I wish I could but we're going to my uncle's house in Florida for two weeks." He shrugged.
"Oh no, what am I gonna do without you?" I whined.
"Bang Henry." He smirked.
"True. Get out, I don't need you no more."
He laughed. "Harsh."
I giggled.
"Sucks you won't be there." Jax murmured.
"I wish I could go with you guys."
"Before I forget, Dylan. Why the hell did you even go see Johnathan after making me think you wouldn't! I knew you would!" Raven scolded.
I sighed and rubbed my temple. "I already got enough yelling from my mom, Rave."
"Well, you're gonna get one from me. That was risky, It was crazy and it triggered him the more."
"So it's my fault for being curious."
"Um, yes?" She said as if it was so obvious.
Jax nodded. "It kinda is."
"And you!" Raven smacked the back of Jon's head.
"Ow! What'd I do?"
"You took him there. Are you crazy?"
"You can't blame him for being curious, I'm also mad at him cause he lied to me about what happened in there so don't put the blame on me for trying to help a friend."
"Okay, guys. I'm sorry, alright? Raven, I'm sorry for going when I said I wouldn't," I turned to Jon. "And I'm sorry for not telling you, it was a bit scary so I couldn't tell you."
"You okay?" He asked softly.
"Are we all?"
They all shook their heads.
"Me too."
"And he's been stalking you even before moving here. You think it's by coincidence they moved here?" Raven asked with a frown.
"I can't t-" I trailed off and then I started putting the pieces together. This had to be it.
"What...is going on in that head of yours?" Jax asked, his brows furrowed.
"You also hear his brain cells screaming too?" Jon asked rhetorically.
"Dylan, what are you thinking?" Raven asked, curiously.
I looked at all three of them. "Oh my God! Oh my God! Of fucking course!" I exclaimed, startling them.
"What?" They all asked at once.
"Get up." I stood up and jumped of the bed. "We're all going somewhere." I said and rushed to my closet, I opened it and took out a jacket.
"W-Where are we going?" Jax asked as he stood up as well.
"Dylan, what did you just figure out?" Raven asked as she stood up as well.
"I'll explain in the car, right now we're going to see someone."
"Who?"
"That fucking mother of sin." I said angrily as I made my way towards the door. "Daphne." I said before walking out the door.
That psycho bitch!

I didn't know where Johnathan lived but thankfully Jon did and we were right in front of their house. I kept knocking continuously and finally the sole opened, revealing Daphne in a black dress. She scowled once she saw me and everyone else and rolled her eyes.
"I'm not doing this." She said and tried to close the door when I used my foot to stop it from closing and pushed it open. I walked in and the rest of them followed me inside, the house was big. Not so big but big.
"Hey! You can't just barge in here like you-"
"Shut the hell up, woman." Raven sneered.
She shut the door and walked towards Raven angrily. "You're in my house so watch your tongue."
"We're not here for trouble, Mrs. Smith so just listen to us." Jax said
"Not here for trouble? Y'all just barged into my house."
"Maybe if you had invited us in then that wouldn't have been necessary." Jon shrugged.
"Invite you little demons in? I'd rather die in surgery."
"How long have you known?" I asked.
She frowned. "Known what?"
"That Johnathan was mentally ill!" I snapped.
Shock passed through her face for a brief second because she swallowed. "I...I don't know what you're talking about."
"Don't try to play innocent you old hag." Raven snarled.
"Tell you friend to watch it! Or I'll have her regret it." She angrily said.
"She's allowed to say her mind. Now, I'm gonna ask you again. How long?"
"It's not your business." She said and turned to leave bit I gripped her arm tightly.
"Don't make me more angry and answer my damn question before I slit your wrist and watch you bleed out." I threatened.
She gulped. "He's been ill for a long time." She said and pulled her hand away from my grip.
"You knew. You knew he was obsessed with me! You knew it."
She turned and walked away. "I don't know what you mean."
"You do." I said as I followed her. "When you came to my house yesterday, you said it yourself. You said," I gripped her wrist, stopping her in her tracks and twirling her. "You said you didn't know why he was obsessed with me."
"So? I say things."
"Yeah, I understand that you're stupid but that clearly meant something else." Raven said and walked to stand beside me.
She glared at Raven and looked back at me. "Leave before I call the cops."
"You wouldn't dare." I sneered. "Your son was sent to the mental hospital today." She didn't appear shocked.
"She knew already." Jon said.
"Of course she did." Raven snorted.
"He had drawings of me. Fifty. Three. Drawings." I emphasized as if talking to a child. "Of me! Me! He had other drawings of my friends and my boyfriend being murdered. Artistic, isn't it?"
She snatched her hand back. "Get out."
"He stabbed his cellmate in the eye, did you know that or didn't your lawyer tell you?" Her eyes widen. "But of course you knew he was dangerous, that's why you keep protecting and covering up for him. He's done more awful things and you've covered them all up and that's why George hates him, cause he's sick. Right? That's why James came all the way from Seattle because he's always been the one covering up your family's dirty secrets." I grimaced.
"So what? Johnathan's sick. Yes. He was given proper care."
"Yeah, proper care is when you take him to a mental institution to get him treated but you left him at home and asked a mentally ill person to take the drugs himself." Jon angrily yelled.
"You did all that crap because of your stupid reputation and put his life at risk. YOU PUT ALL OUR LIVES AT RISK!!" I was pissed. "ALL OUR FUCKING LIVES BECAUSE YOU THOUGHT YOUR REPUTATION WAS BETTER!! BECAUSE GEORGE WANTED TO RUN FOR MAYOR!! BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T WANT TO BE TAGGED A MOTHER OF A MENTALLY ILL CHILD!"
"YES! YES! YOU'RE RIGHT!" She yelled back. "I LOVE MY SON! I DO BUT WHAT WAS I SUPPOSED TO DO? IT WOULD HAVE RUINED EVERYTHING! I WANTED TO TAKE HIM TO RECEIVE TREATMENT YEARS AGO BUT GEORGE WOULDN'T LET ME! SO DON'T BLAME ME!"
"I shouldn't blame you? Are you stupid? You're his mother!" I stated. "You knew how dangerous he was and yet you let him roam around freely, no." I tsked. "You kept him locked up until he threatened you both coldly, didn't he? I know about what he did to Cory, he told me." I smiled and her face was instantly filled with horror. "You knew but you covered it up of course. That was when you should have done something but you didn't cause you're a cold hearted bitch who doesn't serve a child!"
"Don't!" She growled and pointed at me, her eyes red.
"What? It the truth and you know it. Johnathan was always scared of his father and I wondered why. He always felt alive when he was outside and I wondered why but I didn't know that you guys were the cause behind this. He was the one who suggested you guys move to Eastwood, wasn't he? And you knew his goal but you still supported him because you hate my mom and didn't give a shit, and George thought it was a good idea because he heard about The Frosts living here and wanted a deal with them to start his evil master plan and you knew it. I know half of what he did was his choice but this is all on you."
"He was taking his meds!!! He was stable. He was fine until you came into his life and cast your black magic on him and made his condition worse!" She shouted angrily.
"You mean showed him the care and gave him the attention his family didn't give him?." Jax asked from behind me. "That your explanation of black magic?"
"He was okay," her voice cracked as the tears fell from her eyes.
"Oscar winning performance." Raven tilted her head to the side.
I frowned. "What are you doing? Are you...crying? Wipe that shit off your face, you won't deceive me with that."
"I loved him and wanted the best for him."
"And now he's snapped and you put his health at risk. Whatever you were hiding, aren't people gonna know now? Hmm?" I cocked my brow.
She shook her head and ran a hand through her head. "You were his trigger."
"You ruined him." Jon stated. "And now we have to live in fear even though he's at the hospital."
"George would hit him all the time, why? He told me about your husband in codes. He would talk about how he dreamt of stabbing him continuously and bathing in his blood. He used to call him 'my mother's husband' at first. Why does George hate him so much? Why does George punish him so much? Why is Johnathan so scared of him? He flinches on fear whenever I mention him and then he gets mad. Why? Tell me Daphne. What are you hiding? Why does George hate to be close to Johnathan? Tell me!"
"BECAUSE HE IS NOT HIS FATHER!! JOHNATHAN ISN'T GEORGE'S SON!!" She yelled as she cried. "YOU WANTED TO KNOW RIGHT? THAT'S OUR BIG SECRET! HE'S NOT GEORGE'S SON! THAT'S WHY GEORGE HATES HIM!! THAT'S WHY!" She cried as she held the table for support.
"You were right, Dylan." Jaxton muttered.
My expression was unchangeable. I had put the pieces together already, I had known instantly that Johnathan knew where I moved to and suggested this place to his parents and I knew the reason George agreed was because The Frosts lived here. This family was sick. I knew something was wrong concerning George. He always abused Johnathan and when I told him to tell the cops he didn't. He couldn't. He still loved his 'dad' but wanted to kill him.
He was desperate to feel love and that's when I came in. I figured it out cause Johnathan didn't even look like George, he looked more like mother and portrayed nothing from his father except the evil intentions that runs in their blood. Johnathan knew George wasn't his father and that's what pained him the more. He didn't know who his father was and referred to him as 'mom's husband' most of the time. Johnathan wasn't the genesis. His parents were.
They made him whom he was. They taught him to be cruel and to be like them but he already had his own issues and he was times ten worse. I had this feeling George wasn't his father, I knew it but I kept it based on theory. I knew father's do abuse their kids but this was different and the facial features started to ring in my head. While I figured the Eastwood part in the house, I figured the rest out on our way here.
"You knew?" Daphne asked with her raccoon eyes. "H-How?"
"I have this thing called a brain and a set of eyes. I use mine." I said angrily. "When I'm dedicated to something. When I'm curious, I make sure to get to the bottom of an issue. My mind works faster than you can imagine when it comes to things like this. I do my investigation well and just put the pieces of what I knew and know now together. I fixed the puzzle myself." I responded. "I don't blame Johnathan for all the things he's gone through. You guys made him the way he is and now we're all in trouble if he escapes and you want to help him escape? Stupid? Extremely." I stated. "You and your husband are a huge disgrace. You failed as parents."
"You don't talk to me like th-"
"Shut your mouth or I'll kick your teeth DOWN YOUR THROAT AND SLIT IT FOR YOU!!" I yelled with enough venom in my voice.
My veins were filled with so much rage, I wanted to tear her apart. I didn't even know what show I had heard that threat from but it was stuck in my head.
She flinched in fear as she took two steps back and gulped.
"Dylan, that's...that's enough. Let's go." Jon said.
"You should be ashamed of yourself," Raven said to her. "Johnathan didn't do that to me. You did. It's your fault that people have to hide and live in fear because of your son. But then, this family is sick."
Daphne wiped her tears and sniffed. "Leave my home before I call the cops." She demanded.
I scoffed. "Pathetic." I spat and angrily turned, walking away and out of the house.
Once I was out, I let out a heavy breath and walked straight to Raven's car, standing in front of it. I turned to my friends who were behind me.
"Did you get it?" I asked Jon. He rose his phone up to show me the record playlist.
"Everything's on my phone except your last threat of course, j-just in case she turns up dead or something." He shrugged.
"You okay?" Jax asked, staring at me with concern.
I smiled faintly. "Yeah, somehow I do pity Johnathan."
"I kinda do too." Raven sighed.
"We'll take this to Detective Fisher." I said referring to the recording and they all nodded.
"How did you put it all together so quick?" Jon asked with a little chuckle, looking amazed.
"I pay attention," I shrugged. "To everything." I added. "It's just sad that it took me forever to put it all together."
"You put your mind to it and in less than an hour you figured this out."
I shook my head. "I could have gotten him help."
"It's not your fault." Raven said
"He just seemed so...stable. I...I'm the reason he stopped taking his meds regularly. Me."
"Don't. Don't blame yourself." Jon warned me. "It's not your fault."
"Are you sure?" I chuckled.
Jax was about to answer when my phone rang and I took it out of my back pocket, it was Cameron. I sighed and moved away from my friends to answer the call.
"Hey,"
"Hey. You didn't call me back yesterday."
"Y-Yeah, I'm sorry. I really am. I..I slept over at her house."
"It's okay, you sound a little...dull. You okay?"
I nodded like he could see me. "Yeah, just tired."
"You busy now?"
I looked back at my friends who were talking and answered. "No, I'm free."
"So....can we see and talk about how tom didn't kill jerry all these years and when he does he panics?"
I laughed. "Yeah, okay"
"Great, I'll send you the address now."
I nodded. "Yeah,"
"See you in twenty, god of chaos."
"Bye." I said and hanged up. I sighed again and walked over to my friends. "Can we leave? And uh Raven I need you to drop me somewhere?"
"Who was that?" Jax asked.
"Can we just go away from here? Please?" I said before getting into the car and they all followed.

This was a café I've never been to before, I was sitting on one of the table as I waited for Cameron to show up. It was cozy here, it was relaxing, it felt homey. This place was a lot of things. The strong aroma of freshly roasted coffee greets you the minute you walk into the door, they also seemed to serve food as well and snacks. I liked this place, I liked the white walls and how it was a bit quiet here, the pictures on the walls that I found interesting and the color of the employee's uniforms were really nice, red and yellow with black apron. It was beautiful I'd say.
"Hi." A voice said and a second later, Cameron was sitting across me with a smile. "Have you been waiting for long?"
"Just enough to take in the memory of this beautiful place."
Cameron smiled. "I'm sorry."
"No, I came here earlier than the time so my fault." I smiled back.
"So you don't have plans on burying me alive, dear god of chaos?"
I chuckled. "Not yet."
"Great." He smiled. "You haven't ordered right?"
"Not yet."
He called one of the waitresses and ordered a black coffee with two sugars and milk and then looked at me.
"I don't...I don't take coffee. Never had it."
His brows shot up. "Really?"
I nodded. "Never." I grinned.
"Well, try it then."
"It's almost late and I don't wanna stay awake at night."
"Oh, I..sorry."
Maybe I did want to stay awake tonight.
I looked at the waiter. "Get me the same."
The blonde waitress nodded with a smile and Cameron looked back at me with a grin.
"They have cake too."
"I'll pass."
He nodded and turned back to the waitress. "I'll have cake."
The waitress nodded. "I'll be right back." She said and walked away.
Cameron sighed and looked back at me with a grin and just stared. My brows knitted as I smiled a little.
"Why are you staring at me?"
"How did you know I was staring at you if you weren't staring at me."
"Uh, I have eyes."
He chuckled. "How was your day?"
"Depressing." I replied with a fake grin.
"Ooh, that bad? You said depressing and smiled that way, it's gotta be that bad."
I nodded. "It was."
"Wanna talk about it? I'll listen."
"Nah, I'm good." I shook my head.
"I'm here for you though."
I didn't want to lead him on, I didn't want him to think that I liked him the same way he liked me. That'd be wrong.
"Cameron, I have a boyfriend."
"Oh."
"Yeah."
He smiled. "Is it jercules?"
"Henry's his name."
"I figured it was him." He shrugged. "I do like you but I respect you have a boyfriend. Anyways we're just two long lost friends having coffee right?" I grinned. "What was it you called it?" He looked up at the sky as he tried to remember before snapping his fingers with a smile. "Just coffee with Turner."
I laughed. "Yeah. Just coffee with Turner."
"I'm heartbroken." He said as he pouted and touched his chest where his heart is. "But meh," he shrugged. "As long as we're friends, that's okay. You're cool and I'm not so cool, perfect match."
I scoffed. "Yeah."
The door bell jingled and I gasped in fear, my heart suddenly racing as I quickly turned, only to see a customer walk in. I swallowed.
The coffee machine made a sound, and I flinched. I placed my hands on my lap and held them together.
I don't know why, but I felt like if I turned any direction, I'd see him somewhere.
"Hey!"
I gasped and looked in front of me to see Cameron staring at me with concern. "You okay?"
I smiled and nodded. "Yeah,"
The waitress was already here and looking at me in concern, I flashed her a smile. "Thank you."
She just nodded and walked away, I picked up my own cup of coffee and quickly took a sip, i gagged but still swallowed it. "Disgusting." I grimaced.
Cameron chuckled. "It's not that bad." He said as he drank his calmly.
"Show off." I rolled my eyes. "It's horrible."
"It calms the nerves, mine at least." He shrugged. "Just try to enjoy it, think about your worries and have the coffee. Don't think about how it's bitter, don't think about how it's disgusting. Just try to enjoy it."
"Okay, Doctor Phil."
He laughed. "I'm special."
"Mmhmm." I looked back at the coffee and picked it up, the thoughts of Johnathan went straight to my head. It never left. I kept seeing the drawings and took a sip from the cup and surprisingly it wasn't as bad as the first. It was bitter, yes but so was I. It's color matched my heart. This coffee was like me, as I drank I felt drained. My mind wasn't focused on the coffee as I first drank and that made me sip enough cause I couldn't taste it until I could and didn't care.
"So, how does it taste?" He asked once I put the mug down.
I smiled. "Not as bad as the first gulp, but still bitter."
He grinned. "If you're gonna be a lawyer you're gonna need coffee."
"I'm done with this, I'm still a teenager so no." I said and pushed the mug away from me carefully.
Cameron chuckled. "Okay."
"Don't they have sweet kinds?"
"They do, but you wanted the same one I got."
"Why do you take coffee? This kind?"
He shrugged. "I like it. It's bitter yet sanctifying. If that makes sense." He shrugged.
"Like beer. Yeah."
"So, are you gonna tell me why everything is making you jump?" He asked with a cocked brow.
"It doesn't really matter."
He scoffed. "As long as its you, it does. Spill it out Scooby."
I sighed. "You remember the guy from the news? The one I exposed?"
Cam nodded. "Yeah, the sex offender."
"He's also my ex, and I just found out he's a psychopath who is obsessed with me and wants my friends dead." I smiled. "Cute, right?"
His face fell. "Oh."
"Yeah, so forgive me for jumping every two seconds."
"That sucks."
I nodded and swallowed. "A lot. There are drawings of my friends being killed too and my boyfriend."
"Wow. Psycho much."
"You have no idea."
"So I like you, Hercules likes you, and a psychopath's love for you turned into obsession." His brows knitted.
"Poetic."
"It'd make a nice movie, it'd sell billions."
I laughed. "You're crazy."
"No, I'm serious." He said with a smile and took a bite from his cake. "Like, a normal teenager who hates a guy and they end up dating. Before they start dating he meets a guy at a club who falls for him and then his ex is obsessed. Are you kidding me?" I laughed, shaking my head. "Imagine the title being Cupid's Bow!"
I shook my head. "Hmm, no. I think Bad Cupid would be perfect since the new Cupid doesn't know how to shoot his arrow."
He clapped his hand instantly and yelled. "YES!" making some people stare at us. "Sorry people!"
I laughed and covered my face. "You're crazy."
"That would beat a lot of movies and would be the no one everywhere. You'd be signing a lot of autographs. Bad Cupid, starring the god of chaos, Timmy Turner, Jercules and...? What's the name of the other guy?"
"Lucifer." I grinned.
"Wow, he's horrible." Turner said and I chuckled while nodding. "Okay, and...Luci. You'd be a superstar."
"One question, is it gonna be a horror movie?"
"More like thriller. Thriller, romance and..."
"Horror would be nice?"
"There are no spirits in your story, Dylan." Turner laughed.
"Well, it shouldn't be long before they turn up anyways." I took a sip from my coffee, slowly enjoying it's bitter taste. "Give it till season two."
"Horror it is then."
I laughed. "No way. You're sick."
"Okay, so imagine we have hundred million each, what would you do with yours?" Cameron asked
"Leave the country. Get away from here and go somewhere far."
"That's the first thing?" He asked and I nodded.
"A boy needs a vacation, Turner."
Turner laughed.
"You see why I hate this place too."
"I think I get you now." I chuckled. "How about you?" I asked while he ate his piece of cake.
"Hmm," Cameron swallowed what he was chewing. "I don't know actually, but I guess I'll invest it in some kind business." He shrugged.
"The first thing you'd do?"
"Oh no, I'll get myself a blue Lamborghini for sure." He said with a nod and I laughed. "And then I'll open a bakery for the woman who took care of me. She loves to bake." He smiled.
"How sweet. Sophia is her name, right?"
Cameron nodded.
"My friends' sister's name is Sofía and i know about three Georges. It's weird."
Cameron snickered. "People with the same names? Can't relate." He said and i laughed.
"Silly. Sophia sounds really sweet."
"I know right? She'd love you and would definitely want to braid your hair."
I chuckled. "Why?" I asked and pulled his plate of cake to my side, suddenly wanting to eat cake.
Cam gasped. "That's mine!"
"You've had enough."
"I so haven't. Order yours." He pouted.
"For being stubborn, I'll eat yours."
"I don't like you anymore."
"That's impossible." I said as I cut out a little with the fork and knife and ate the piece. "Oh wow, it's good." I said as I chewed.
"It really is." He smiled.
"Cake. Cake please." He said out loud.
"Chill, Cam." A waitress said with a smile.
"Thank you, Audrey." He smiled back at her and looked at me.
"They know you here, huh?"
"I'm famous....in this coffee shop, they always put a photo of their most regular customers. I'm one of them."
"I'd love to see the photo." I chuckled.
"I was ugly there."
"More reason to want to see it."
"You're annoying." He groaned.
"Thank you, Shrek."
He gasped dramatically. "Asshole!"
I laughed.
"Hey,"
"What?" I asked.
"You finished your coffee."
I frowned and looked down at my mug, It was empty. I did finish it. I could now taste it in my mouth. Have I been drinking it without even knowing?
"Wow." I blinked severally.
He chuckled. "The miracle of Sims Café."
Sims café
I still couldn't believe I had drank it all and just smiled. "Yeah, I guess you could say that."
He grinned. "Oh, I have a story to tell you."
I looked back at him with a smile. "Go ahead, your stories are interesting."
"Finally, someone who loves my stories."
I laughed.
"Okay so today-"
And I forgot everything as I listened to him talk and make me laugh. I forgot all about my problems, I forgot all about Johnathan. I forgot about the photos. I forgot it all.
*****
I was walking home with a smile on my face while talking to Henry on the phone, I was laughing at something he was saying when I heard footsteps that weren't mine. I stopped laughing and turned but no one was there.
"Dyl, you okay?"
I swallowed and answered. "Yeah, I...I'm fine. I'll call you back when I get home, okay?"
"Okay, call me."
"Yeah, bye." I said and hung up. I began to walk faster and the footsteps resumed, keeping up with my pace. I stopped and it did as well. I continued and so did it. I walked faster, breathing heavily, and so did the footsteps.
I stopped and rapidly turned to see, but no one was there. It was just me. I looked for a few seconds, and turned as I continued to walk. Then, I heard the footsteps pick up the same fast pace as mine. I was scared and so, I ran. The person began to run as well and I screamed out for help as I ran, not looking back.
I stopped running and turned immediately to see, and I gasped once the street light shone on the person's face, revealing who it was. I took a step backwards, my lips trembling.
"Johnathan." I breathed.
He was dressed in a blue short sleeve shirt and blue pants like that of a mental hospital and it had blood on it.
Johnathan smiled widely. "I told you I'd come get you. I missed you."
I took another step backwards. "H-How did you...How did you-"
"Escape?" He finished up as furrowed his brows and chuckled. "Did they really think they could lock me up when I have one goal which is to meet you. Two actually, since I wanna kill Henry." He shrugged.
"I um," My sweat turned cold.
"You're not happy to see me. Still in denial of your love I see." Johnathan sighed. "Don't worry, I'll make you know it in just a few days."
"Johnathan, back away. You need to g-go back."
"I'm fine!" He yelled angrily, startling me. "I'm very fine."
I gulped.
I needed help.
Johnathan walked over to me and as I turned to run, he stopped me.
He grabbed my arm and pulled me closer, I gasped in fear, he seemed stronger. Has he been working out in prison? He grinned as he stared at me. "They took my drawings but I've got you. And we will live happily....ever....after."
I gasped loudly as I sat up from my bed, drenched in sweat as my heart raced. I rubbed the sweat on my forehead and let out shaky breaths, I pulled away the duvet and began thanking the lord it was just a nightmare.
A nightmare that seemed so real.
I checked the time on my phone
2:03am
I sighed. "Fucking cunt."
