"We brought you a 'Welcome To The Earth Kingdom' present!" Sokka called out in Iroh's tea shop. "It never smiles and never laughs and has a baby on the way!"

With Aang's airbending, Zuko was lifted into the shop and onto the ground in front of you and Iroh, interrupting your tea.

"Zu!" You cheered. "Why ain't he awake?"

"Shock of being right?" Aang rubbed the back of his head. "Also... congratulations?"

"Yeah! Congratulations!!!" Katara gave you a genuine smile.

"Thanks!" You smiled and held your stomach. "I'm 'bout half-way cooked, I reckon. Leavin' Zu with me?"

"Yup. I need to talk to him, but otherwise, all yours." Aang admitted. "I'll be up on the roof, meditating."

"We're going to go out to eat." Katara nodded towards Sokka. "We'll come back."

And with that, everyone went their separate ways. Everyone, except you, Iroh and Zuko of course.

"So, are you going to be sweet and loving to him when he wakes up?" Iroh chuckled as he looked at your face.

"Um, hello, have ya met me?" You giggled. "I still ain't happy how he left me. He better apologize a lot better if he be wantin' this here baby."

"You know better than that." Iroh scolded you. "The baby is not a bargaining chip. He deserves the baby just as much as you do, even though you are the one who carries them. Now, he should still apologize. But I won't allow you to hide the baby from him."

"Irohhhhhh..." You whined. "Ain't no fun. Plus, you know I ain't sure I want the baby to be Fire Lord. They should get a choice."

"But now that you're here, it seems you are making a choice. A choice to come out of hiding, even just a bit." He noted.

"Not me. But maybe... I ain't know." You pinched your nose. "I been thinkin'. Depends on what kinda bender she is, right? Zuko always on about 'what if she a water bender?' but what if she a fire bender? She could be Princess and I could be a nameless ma, couldn't I?"

"Correct. Fire Lords do not have to take a spouse. They just need an heir. If you provide him with a 'proper'," He made air quotes, "heir, then he will be fine to continue running the nation and living with you."

"Well, here's hopin' I s'pose. Could always try again!" You laughed. "First one could be mine, second could be his!"

Iroh paused and considered this.

"You know, YN, that is not a bad idea."

"No..." Zuko sat up shakily. "It's not..."

"Zu!" You kneeled below him and hugged him tightly to your chest. "You idiot! I missed you so much! You're so dumb, leaving ma swamp like that! Ain't even said sorry!"

He glanced over at Iroh and nodded a greeting before tilting your chin towards him and planting a kiss on your lips.

"I'm sorry, YN, I should have taken you from the beginning." His hand ran beneath the leaves of your dress and stroked your bloated stomach. "But now, I have a goal. I will make this world accept our family, somehow and someway."

"Glad ta hear it. But we gotta tell Aang you're awake. He's gotta talk to ya. Iroh? Ma feet is swollen." You admitted.

"Let me rub them." Zuko pulled his blanket up, and began rubbing your feet. "As a short apology."
