Their dinner continued quite smoothly, Wai and Korn calmed down quite rapidly and that surprised both Pat and Pran, who didn't dare to say anything else regarding what happened between them. After a while everything got much more silent, too silent for a new year's eve party, someone had to shake the atmosphere a little bit.

"My beloved brother... friends, I... we... have an announcement to make..." Pa started and grabbed Ink's hand and smiled at her.

"Ok, stop right there!" Pat said.

"What? What do you mean brother? Why are you acting like this out of the blue?" Pa asked confused and a little worried as well.

"This isn't the right place nor the right moment to make such an announcement... Pran, help me, let's get some drinks to the rooftop, we will continue there" Pat said and started filling a bag with several bottles.

"I still don't get what..." Pa started

"Don't talk, you will understand later... I'm doing this for your own good... follow me guys!" Pat said and started walking. After a minute they were on the rooftop, Pran was shocked to see that Pat had prepared everything to make it comfortable.

"You can continue now Pa" Pat said smiling.

"Well... we want to announce you that we are... dating!" Pa said and everyone started clapping. Pat comes closer to his sister and whispered:

"This is a much better place for an announcement like that... look at the view"

Pa turned to him, she smiled and nodded, thanking him and telling him that he was the best brother she could wish for.

"Since everyone seems so kind tonight... I ... ummm... I am sorry... I shouldn't have acted like that... I was more annoying than usual" Wai said to Korn.

He surely expected Korn to laugh to his words and make fun of him but he remained quite surprised that Korn didn't do anything like that.

"It isn't easy to tolerate me... especially after all the fights we had... but with some efforts we might even build some sort of... friendship?" Korn replied.

"Don't get too romantic now..." Wai exclaimed

"Oh come on... you always ruin the mood..."
