San' dressing room

"Oh wow San... you look incredible" Someone coos behind the half drow and he quickly turns around from the hair stylist who was adding a few finishing touches to his neatly styled hair by carefully placing a couple strands in a particular way.

San meets the watery eyes of Ioda who had his shoulder length platinum white hair styled in a low bun. He had on a simple black dress shirt and slacks. The sleeves of the shirt were folded up to his forearms exposing the tribal tattoos decorating his right arm as well as the first 2 buttons of the dress shirt were undone. All in all he look very put together with his own sexy twist.

But when San turns around and he's able to get a full look at him Ioda's smiles wider and fought hard to blink back the tears. "Like an Angel". The outer corners of his eyes crinkles, showing his age.

San was dressed head to toe in white. His 3 piece white suit held some decadent brooches and jewelry that shone under the sunlight streaming in through the very large windows of his dressing room. On his hands were white lace gloves. His hair styled in a way that exposed his forehead with just a few perfectly placed strands of hair falling forward. The subtle eyeliner placed on his lash liner made the greens in his hazel eyes appear even brighter. Skin powdered to smooth perfection and his lips stretched up in a red tinted gloss.

San quickly goes to embrace him, the man whom he considered a father. The man that was there for him and raised him when he lost his mother. Ioda welcomes the embrace, squeezing the jittery boy in his arms tightly.

"I'm so happy you're here" San whispers against his shoulder.

"I would never miss your wedding for the world. I'm so so extremely proud of you San. And I know your mother would be too" He pulls back a little only so he could get another good look at him.

San nods and too found himself fighting back tears at the mention of his mother. "Ugh dammit" He curses under his breath with a laugh and quickly looks upwards and fans his eyes, an attempt to dry out the tears. "You can't come up minutes befor the wedding starts and make me cry. We don't have time to redo my makeup" He says with a playful pout.

The causes Ioda to laugh. "I know, I know. I'm sorry"

"Is Nazen here too? Everyone make it here ok?" San questions as he turns to grab a tissue off the makeup artist who was holding up a tissue box behind him. He carefully dabs underneath his eyes, intent on not smudging the hardwork put into his makeup.

Nazen is Ioda's husband of 7 (drow) years. They didn't have any kids but that's because neither of them wanted one. "Yeah Nazen's here, he's downstairs. Leo and everyone else are waiting. They're all dying to see you get married" He beams at the shorter male.

San felt his heart flutter at the confirmation of having his family sitting in the audience and watching him walk down the aisle. It made him so happy. "What about Seonghwa? You remember him right? Did you see him downstairs?"

"Oh the werewolf boy right? He's waiting right outside the door. He got here slightly earlier than us but he insisted I come in and greet you first" Ioda points his thumb behind him at the closed door.

San's eyes widen. "What?"

"Yeah-"

San was already making a beeline for the doors. He practically yanks it back and was met with a startled Seonghwa who was leaning on the wall opposite the door. The werewolf's creamy grey eyes widen as he took in San's appearance. Oh.. wow, he thinks to himself. Then his eyes slowly soften like melting ice cream. He gives the half drow a small genuine smile.

"San.." He breathes out in an airy voice, like the male's appearance alone knocked the wind out of him. "You look stunning"

San didn't know what to say. His own voice wouldn't let him. Instead he races into Seonghwa's arms, pulling the taller male for a months overdue bear hug.

Seonghwa's breath hitches as San's familiar scent hits his nose and he hugs the drow tighter.

"I thought you wouldn't come" San whispers and sighs with relief. He felt like he could breathe again.

"I mean I told you I would" Seonghwa laughs at him.

"But you took so long. You're almost late" San whines, smacking him lightly behind the head forcing Seonghwa to squeak out an "Ow"

"Sorry" He chuckles as they pull back from hug. "Hyunjin and my parents came with me as well"

San smiles wider at that. "I'm happy to hear that. I'm just so glad you made it-"

"Master San," One of the wedding planners announces as he turns into the hallway they were in. "The wedding is about to commence soon. You should begin heading down now" He says to San with a bow.

"All other guests should also go down and be seated, quickly" The vampire says to Ioda and Seonghwa.

San sighs and turns back to Seonghwa. "We will continue this conversation at the reception. So don't start running back to Boulia immediately after the wedding" San shoots him a warning look.

Seonghwa just raises his hand to his head in mock salute. "Yes sir" San fight back a smile and rolls his eyes at him as he walks off, following the wedding planner.

The wedding

Seonghwa was silently led back down to the wedding by a young servant boy. And the further he walked down the more decorated the handrails of the stairs were. White flowers and lush green vines wrapped around the metal and he eyes them as he descended the stairs.

Once at the bottom he's directed towards one of the castles few large courts mainly used for events and such. As he enters from the side the first thing that catches his ear was the sound of lots of people chattering in their seats. Most of the crowd being vampires of course.

The next thing was the stunning white interior design of the space. He'd already seen the place prior to going up many flights of stairs to San's dressing room but seeing it again left him just as awestruck at how beautiful and pure everything looked.

White and lavender colored flowers hung from the chandeliers. More flowers decorated the walls and lights.

He spots Hyunjin, both his parents and 2 other werewolf guards meant to protect the alpha and luna wolf. His posse were all seated towards the front of the audience and so he quietly makes his way towards them, doing his best to avoid any unnecessary attention but the second one vampire catches a whiff of his scent they turn to him. Then another turns and another. And soon he has several shades of gray eyed individuals starring at him like he was the elephant in the room. In a sense, he is.

Without making more than 1 second of eye contact with any of them he made his way to his seat between his mother and Hyunjin. Just as he sits he momentarily looks up to meet the watchful silvery eyes of Hongjoong himself. The man was seated 2 rows ahead of him and had his head turned back but he immediately flicks his gaze elsewhere the second Seonghwa catches him staring.

Seonghwa tries to wet his throat with his saliva. Something hums in his chest and his cheeks heats up slightly. That was the first time they'd seen each other in months. First time they'd made eye contact in so long. Too long...

Seonghwa bit his inner cheek, shifted his gaze to his hands on his thighs and allowed himself to soak in the vampire's pheromones. Fresh cinnamon tingles his nostril hair.

"Are you alright?" His mom says quietly in his ear. Seonghwa glances at her as he sits up straighter. He nods, a questioning expression forming on his face.

"Why wouldn't I be?" He responds and she looks for a few long seconds before looking forward again.

"Remember why we're here. Don't. get. distracted" She warns under her breath, careful not to give anything away to the room filled with people who possess supernatural hearing.

That's right. They're here for a completely different reason than San and everyone thinks. His parents didn't care to attend any wedding in Naex especially not for the son of the man that took their daughter. No, they were there for something more devious. Something bitter yet sweet. They were there for revenge.

He'd planned on sneaking away to the wedding with Hyunjin but the younger was careless. One thing led to another and their parents found out and invited themselves. "This is an opportunity. One we may never get again" His father had said.

Even when Seonghwa tried to subtly talk them out of it by reminding them of the council's decision to be cordial and keep the newly started peace, it all fell on deaf ears. They were out for blood.

Just sitting in the crowd of blood suckers made his father's skin crawl and eye twitch. But they needed to wait.

Obviously Seonghwa wasn't a fan of the plan. If San got hurt in the crossfire he'd never forgive himself for not doing something. Even worse, if Hongjoong got hurt... his inner wolf howled in pain at the thought.

He still hadn't told his parents that the king of Naex is his mate but that's because he had his own plans for the night. A plan not even Hyunjin knew. Something that would stop anyone from getting hurt and forcibly change his parent's mind. And for the plan to work he needed his mate.

He looks back up at the back of Hongjoong's head. The vampire was chatting with what Seonghwa assumed was an old friend seeing as Hongjoong laughed and looked directly at the male vampire he was speaking to.

"Keep staring at him like that and you might accidentally start shooting fireballs out your eyes" Hyunjin whispers in his ear.

Seonghwa arches an annoyed brow at him. "Like what?"

Hyunjin just smirks mischievously. "Like you wanna F. U. C-" He begins spelling out the word but Seonghwa slaps a hand over his mouth. "-K. him" Hyunjin completes in a muffled voice behind Seonghwa's hand.

"You're so weird. I wasn't even thinking that at all" He whisper shouts at him as he brought his hand down from the males's mouth. Hyunjin just shrugs and fights back a grin.

"Didn't look like it"

Seonghwa didn't get a chance to return with his own comeback because a loud organ silences everyone in the room. Then the doors at the top of the dual stairs at the back of the court creaks and slowly swings open revealing two individuals dressed in beautifully tailored white suits standing hand in hand at the top of the stairs. San and Wooyoung.

Everyone immediately rises to their feet and turns to look at the smiling couple as their tightly clasped hands is reluctantly broken and the turn to walk down the two different set of stairs spiraling down to the base stairs and main floor.

A slow symphony is played by the orchestra in the side of the room. People coo at the sight of the pair as they walked down and then reconnect their hands once the stairs merges again. Together they walk down the last few stairs and made their way down the white trail of the middle aisle.

Seonghwa could tell San was incredibly nervous and it was quite endearing to him. Watching him hold his fiancé's hand so tightly as they walked towards the officiant waiting for them with a warm smile at the altar.

And when they finally arrive at the front, everyone is directed to sit back down. Seonghwa watches as the two males dressed in white at the front of the room turn to each other with both their hands now stretched and clasped between them. Their eyes firmly on each other and Wooyoung flashes San a loving smile. And just like magic Seonghwa saw how every trace of nerves leaves San's expression. How his tense shoulders relaxes and tight smile loosens. How his eyes had already began becoming a little glossy even though the officiant hadn't even began speaking.

Seonghwa could see it clear as day at that very moment. He loves Wooyoung so dearly and there was no questioning it. The way they stared into each other's eyes with nothing but love and affection. It made Seonghwa smile sadly to himself.

And without him even thinking about it, his gaze flickers over to the back of Hongjoong's head.

All San could hear was the sound of his own rapidly beating heart in his chest. Even with Wooyoung's left hand tightly clasped in his right one he still felt as though he was fighting the urge to throw up then and there.

"Deep breaths San" Wooyoung's voice brings him out of his thoughts. He turns to meet the gentle smile of the love of his life and he feels himself calm down a little. "We'll be holding hands nearly the whole time. Just take it easy. One step at a time" He gives San's hand a firm squeeze. He almost leaned in to kiss the tempting gloss off Wooyoung's pink lips.

But that thought was disrupted when one of the wedding planners whisper shouts, "Open the door"

The guards stationed at the door pushes it open and together Wooyoung and San step out. Immediately the entire room turns around to look up at them at the top of the stairs. The nerves return.

San practically had to forcibly pry his own hands from Wooyoung's when they turn and walk down two separate sets of stairs. San felt like he was hyper aware of everything. Every step down the marble stairs was almost calculated. Every echoing sound of his shoes as he made his way down. Every whisper or hushed speaking from the crowd sounded about ten times louder.

And even when he takes Wooyoung's hands again and continued down the aisle the nerves didn't lessen.

Once at the front and joining the officiant at the small platform they turn to eachother. Holding eachother's hands and all it took was a look at Wooyoung's loving smile, gentle grey eyes and calm expression on his handsome face and everything melted off his bones. Every worry was gone. Every anxious nerves dissipates.

And suddenly it felt like it was just the two of them in the room.

Even when the man standing beside them began talking it sounded muffled, like background noise.

Before he knew it, it was time to exchange vows. Wooyoung took it upon himself to go first. "San, you're the love of my life, my best friend and my person. Since the day we met I knew I felt an immediate attraction. I knew you were my soulmate. Though we didn't get off on the right foot.." He chuckles at the memory of the first time they'd met. "-we managed to connect in a way I've never done with anyone, ever. I love you for the way you make me feel when we're together and I miss you so so so much when we're apart" He stresses the last 'so'. That causes San to giggle as tears beaded at his eyes.

"We've gone through so much together and grew a lot before getting to this point. You inspire me to be better everyday. I promise to love you and always be by your side through all the ups and downs. To cherish and support you for the rest of our lives together"

Wooyoung finished and had to fight the urge to kiss the single tear that slide down San's cheek. Instead he reaches and gently wipes it away with his thumb. San's dimpled smile was so bright, so beautiful, it scattered the field of butterflies in his stomach.

"Don't cry" Wooyoung mouths to him with a fake pout. Mainly because he knew it was only a matter of time before he'd start crying too in front of everyone.

San sniffs back more tears. "Wow um.. where do I even start? From the day we met I knew there was something different about you. The way you made me feel was unlike anything I'd felt before. And it scared me but I'm so glad I didn't ignore that feeling. I'm glad I let myself be vulnerable and fall so deeply and madly in love with you. You are the most important person in the whole world to me. Today and everyday for the rest of my life, I promise to be your husband-" A wider smile grows on Wooyoung's lips.

"-your partner, and best friend in all of life's adventures" San continues with a giggle. "Together we'll have an adventure that's greater than any other. I promise you myself completely. Despite all the curve balls life throws at us, we always manage to find each other again. Our relationship has given me opportunities to grow into myself and learn more about what it is I truly want out of life. Wooyoung, you have my entire heart and soul.."

Coos and small whispers of 'aww' could be hears in the crowd but for the most part both males had zoned out everything else. All they focused on was each other.

Wooyoung felt his chest tighten at San's beautiful words. He wanted to kiss his whole face already then run up to the tallest mountain in the world and shout out "San is my husband!" For the heavens to hear.

After exchanging vows came the ring exchange. They slide on a much more intricate silver ring with crystal detailing in the middle of the band and going all the way around. It was different from their more simple looking engagement rings.

Wooyoung could hardly keep his hands from shaking. He knew San's anxious energy must now have transferred over to him. But eventually San was able to get the ring on his finger.

After the ring exchange they held each a little closer. The officiant clears his throat briefly "Do you, Sir San, take this man, Prince Wooyoung, as your lawfully wedded husband, to live together in marriage? Do you promise to love him, comfort him, honor and keep him for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and health, and forsaking all others, be faithful to him for as long as you both shall live?" The man says with a smile as he watches the couple stare lovingly into each other's eyes.

"I do" San nods with a laugh.

"And do you, Prince Wooyoung, take this man, Sir San, as your lawfully wedded husband, to live together in marriage? Do you promise to love him, comfort him, honor and keep him for better or worse, for richer or poorer, in sickness and health, and forsaking all others, be faithful to him for as long as you both shall live?" The officiant looks at Wooyoung, awaiting his response.

"Damn right" He mutters like the answer should be fairly obvious. The room laughs a little as his eagerness.

"Well then, In witness of your love and commitment, it is now my pleasure to introduce you to those present here as married. In honor of your entrance into wedlock, you may share your first married kiss!"

The man hadn't even finished his pronouncement before San and Wooyoung met in the middle of a long awaited kiss. Their first kiss as a married couple and San swore there something just a little magical about it. Sadly they weren't allowed to deepen it into a make out out of respect for the audience even though truthfully all San wanted to do was jump his bones.

They pull back and the loud sound of the crowd cheering, clapping and whistling fills his ears. They take each other's hand and face the crowd. Wooyoung lifts their connected hands in the hair like a trophy with the biggest smile on his face before they began walking back up the aisle. San's cheeks was flushed red and his stomach didn't stop doing backflips as they walked hand in hand up the aisle now as husbands.

He locks eyes with Ioda who was standing along with the audience and clapping happily as he watched the couple. He spotted Leo, Yunho and many other drows he grew up with. Then he spotted Seonghwa who smiles at him and flashes a playful wink. San rolls his eyes playfully as he continues forward with Wooyoung beside him. Just as they go up the stairs San turns to him with a breathtaking smile and whispers, "I love you, Wooyo"

Wooyoung presses a kiss against his cheek, his own smile gracing his lips. "I love you more, Sanshine"
