a wedding story 2

San practically raced back up to Wooyoung's room after having retrieved the letter addressed to him from Boulia. He knew it could only be one person.

Ever since he sent Seonghwa that letter of invitation to his wedding he consistently went down to the mailing office to ask if he'd received anything back. And each time the older lady working there would only smile sadly at him, skin crinkling around her grey eyes, and shake her head no.

As a matter of fact San had already began accepting the fact that Seonghwa hated him and wanted nothing else to do with him. After all, I'm the reason he lost his sister. I don't blame him. And though the excitement of the prince's big upcoming wedding buzzed around the kingdom especially in the castle, San still couldn't help but feel sad whenever he remembered Seonghwa hadn't written back.

Finally the letter was here. And it only took nearly 2 full months to hear back from him. The damn wedding was merely a week away too but he was just glad to get something in response to his invitation.

San shut Wooyoung's door behind him and goes to make himself comfortable on the bed and he held the letter like it was something precious and that even the smallest crease would bring down its value.

He held it with both hands and stared at his name written neatly followed by stamp of Boulia's emblem. There wasn't a sender's name or address anywhere but San knew it had to be him.

After dutifully studying the envelope he carefully peels it open and takes out the letter.

'San,

Firstly, I'd like to say cngratulations on your engagement. I believe that this is truly the beginning of the happily ever after you deserve. You and Wooyoung would make a very beautiful family. I'm sorry you haven't heard anything from me in months. It's just been a very difficult time in my life. It's pushing on 5 months now and my family is still hurting from the wound Yeji's death created. But I know it's not fair to you as a friend who's only showing genuine concern if I continue to cut everyone out the way I have. I miss you a lot as well. Which is why I'm pleased to say I'd love to attend the wedding. To see you walk down that aisle and try not to trip on air knowing you walk like you have 2 left feet whenever you're nervous, it's something I definitely can't miss. Hyunjin also requested to come as well. I'm sure you remember him. He's still the same little brat he was when you guys first met. I can't wait to see you again. Please send Wooyoung my regards.

Seonghwa'

When he reads the last word of the letter he wipes the corner of his eyes at the happy tears beading on his waterline. He had a large smile on his face and he sighed loudly like a huge weight had been lifted off his chest.

He doesn't hate me...

Just knowing that Seonghwa didn't absolutely despise him for being part of the reason his sister was gone, it made him so happy. But the fact that he agreed to come to the wedding was the cherry on top.

Just then Wooyoung enters the room with an annoyed grumbling under his breath. He held a glass of what San would assume was scotch on the rocks. The ice clinking against the cup repeatedly as he walked towards the bed to his fiancé.

San only chuckles at him after noticing his annoyed expression. "Yah- are you okay?" His tone held amusement.

Wooyoung places the cup on the bedside table then wordlessly crawls on the bed and between San's legs, wrapping his arms arms around the drow's torso and resting his head on his thigh. San just looks down at him with an arched brow then slides one of his hand into Wooyoung's hair, raking the soft locks and gently massaging his scalp. This elicits a relaxed moan from Wooyoung who now had his eyes closed as San played with his hair. "How was the meeting?" San questions as he reaches for the glass Wooyoung placed on the side table. He takes a sip, the sharp smoky taste hits his tongue first then a mild sweetness follows.

"Tiring" Wooyoung murmurs into San's thigh. "And boring as shit. I don't know how Hongjoong sat through so many of those" He whines and ends with a pout.

Since Hongjoong filled the shoes of sovereign that moved the position of being heir to the throne down to Wooyoung, the second born. Which meant he had to attend most meetings, work closely with Naex advisors to orchestrate events, paperwork... lots of paperwork. He basically had to do everything Hongjoong did when Jaejoong was still sovereign.

Typically the responsibility falls on the sovereign's spouse then slowly shifts to their first born as the child gets older. But seeing as Hongjoong was still single and refusing to mingle Wooyoung was stuck doing all this work he didn't want to do.

"I keep telling him to put himself out there and find someone to marry already" Wooyoung cries out. He squeezes San's torso tighter, burying his face in the male's hips now. "He's so stubborn and has absolutely no game! Y'know I tried setting him up with Winter but he just straight up spat in her face and told her he wasn't interested" He says with a pained groan.

San laughs at his childish whining. "Give him some time. I'm sure he's just looking for the one"

"Yeah well can he look faster? Even Jongho seems to have a thing going on with his little faery servant. This is killing me San... I just wanna spend all day making out with your beautiful face instead of going to useless council meetings and doing dreadful paperwork for hours at a time" He looks up at San with pouty pink lips and pleading grey eyes behind his overgrown black bangs. "That's all I ask, dammit"

San just grins down at him then leans down and connects their lips in a sweet buttery slow kiss. San's hand slides to his cheek as their heads angled ever so slightly, deepening the passionate kiss. They pull back after what felt an eternity. "I know you've got this" San whispers against his parted lip. "Everytime you're stressed while working just think of me laying in bed, all naked... hot and bothered... and waiting for you.." His voice dripped with lust and seduction.

Wooyoung's breath hitches at the thought.

"Picture me touching myself, playing with my hole and jacking myself off to thoughts of you. Picture me covered in sweat and my lips swollen from all the biting I did after I came on myself numerous times before your return"

Wooyoung chuckles shakily against his fiancé's wet lips. "Damn, you want me to jizz in my pants in the middle of a council meeting? Because that's exactly what's gonna happen if I imagine all that"

San just simply laughs and recaptures his oh so tempting plump lips in an open mouthed kiss. One that forces a hum of pleasure out Wooyoung's throat.

Wooyoung pulls back with a satisfied sigh but their noses were still touching. "I swear your kisses definitely has some sort of medicinal properties to them. I already feel so much better" He grins against San's pale pink lips. "Just make sure you don't share the medicine with anyone else. It's all mine"

"You're such an idiot" San just snorts at him, shaking his head with amusement as he leans back. He glances beside him and saw Seonghwa's letter laying on the bed beside him. "Oh right, Seonghwa wrote back by the way" He picks it up and waves it in front of Wooyoung.

The prince immediately arches a brow, a mildly curious expression on his face. "What'd he say?"

San clears his throat before he begins reading the letter outloud. Wooyoung stays quiet the entire time as he listened attentively. He couldn't not notice the smile on San's lips as he read. He still felt somewhat indifferent towards Seonghwa. Deep down he still wanted to pummel the man to a pulp for kissing San in those woods but seeing as how San's friendship with the werewolf was so important to him he figured he'd at least try and tolerate him.

His brows shoots up in surprise when San reads out "Please send Wooyoung my regards" simply because he wasn't expecting the werewolf to care about him like that.

"Is that it?" Wooyoung asks when San was finished and San nods, folding up the paper again.

"What do you think?" San locks eyes with him, searching for something Wooyoung wasn't entirely sure about.

"About what?" He cocks his head to the side with genuine confusion.

"Well..." San sighs. "I don't know, the letter, him coming?" He shrugs. "I know you guys aren't exactly best friends"

"Babe, you already asked me how I felt about him coming before you even sent the letter and I told you I'm fine with it" Wooyoung says with a sigh. "If him being at the wedding means a lot to you then I'll personally go to Boulia and drag him back here myself. And the letter was really sweet. I just want you to be happy. That's all that matters to me" Wooyoung smiles lovingly at him while playing with the drow's engagement ring on his finger. His smile would always be the most beautiful thing in the world to San.

San beams at his words then wraps his arms around Wooyoung's head, hugging his skull tightly and against his chest. "How the hell did I ever get so lucky with you?" San says over Wooyoung's pained groaning.

"I can't breathe..." The vampire whines but San refused to loosen his hug on Wooyoung's head.

"I just wanna put you in my pocket. You're the sweetest, most amazing, loveliest man in the whole world. No, the whole universe" San coos and continues smothering him while Wooyoung gripes and groans in his arms but he really couldn't fight back the smile on his lips.

"I love you too"

It's finals week so the chapter this week is a little shorter 😵‍💫 The story will be wrapping up soon and I'm honestly still on the fence about writing a seongjoong short story/spin off. I think I'm interested in exploring and developing their relationship a bit but not in this book cuz it should be a woosan ff.

Let me know if that's something you guys would read. Don't worry Lick 2 will still continue as planned which is right after this book is done. The seongjoong short story would just be updated like once every other week or something like that.
