The Wedding

"It's your big day. Just take a deep breathe! Your fine!" Natalia gives me words of encouragement.

"I'm fine sister. I think your the one freaking out," I laugh and fix my bow tie.

"No no, your the one freaking out. Are you sure you want to go through with this?" Natalia is convinced I am not doing this out of my own free will. She thinks our parents are making Camille and I get married.

"Natalia, I want to marry Camille! I love her," Natalia sighs.

"Ok ok. I should be with the other birds maids. We start soon you should already be waiting at the alter," I nod my head.

Natalia leaves my dressing room. Before following her out I read over my vowels one more time. This is something I cannot screw up. I got this. It's just another level in life. Being a husband because I want to be and not because my parents are forcing me. Damn, it seems that not to long ago I was just another high school student. Now I'm about to become CEO of a multi billionaire company.

"River, son. It's time," my father opens the dressing room door.

"Already?" He nods his head.

"The guest have already begun to arrive. It's almost a full house."

I nod my head.

"So I guess it's time," I follow him out of the dressing room.

"Honey!" Mother comes up to us as we are about to walk in. She starts messing with my bow ties and straightening up my jacket.

"Mom, Mom, chill. You both should be in your seats," mother nods her head.

"Just wanted to make sure you haven't done something stupid to mess up your big day."

I roll my eyes.

"I haven't ok. Go sit down," I swear my parents are something else.

"Ok, we love you! Good luck!" Mother kisses my cheek before walking through the doors with everyone else to go to their seats. As the last of the people file into the building I throw open the doors an weak to the front of the alter.

Wow, Camilles mother sure did wonders. I keep my head held high as I walk towards the aisl. Everyone quiets down as I walk. The groom. One of the most eligible bachelors getting married at last. After four years of being with the same girl, I mean why wouldn't we be getting married?

I get to the end of the alter and greet the priest. He takes his hand in mine looks up at me and shakes my hand smiling. After he let's go the music starts playing. Wow this is really happening.

Six flower girls make their way down the aisle. They all wear the same dress, and throw white roses as they walk down the aisle. All the flower girls are Camilles cousins or nieces.

The flower girls are followed by the ringBearer. He is my aunts little boy.

The brides maids start falling out next lead by Natalia and Jane.

At last I see Camille at the very end of the line. Her mother and father escort her down the aisle.

Following behind Camille is her page that is holding her huge train.

The music stops and Camille makes her way to my side. Everyone sits down and the priest begins his reading. Camille and I look at each other as the priest reads passage after passage. Her veil conceals her eyes.

The time finally comes for the vows. I clear my throat as I go first, "there is no combination of words to explain how happy I am to be here today with you. But I can say that I love you. I love you because you understand, I love you because your heart is kind and the soft words you speak. Shoot there are a million and one reasons why I love you. Love flies, runs, and leaps for joy within me when I'm near you. You are the first thing on my mind when I wake up, and the last thing on my mind when I go to sleep. Camille you, you are the perfect one for me, and nothing will ever change the way I feel about you," I didn't choke on my words.

"Now the bride," the Priest passed it on to Camille.

"River you are the strongest, most loving person I have ever met. You've taught me so many things. Like how Family is the most Important thing in this world. I can't wait to start a family with you. I am unsure about most things in life, but my love for you is one thing that I am certain for. I cannot promise that I'll never be angry, I can't promise to always be levelheaded, but I can promise to never give up on you. My love can never be extinguished for as long as both of us breathe," she finishes up.

"Bring forth the rings," the ring bearer stands up from sitting on the front row and hands me the ring to put on Camille and Camille the ring to put one me.

"Do you River Vanderson take Miss Camille Evet to be your lawfully wedded wife. Through sickness and health?"

"I do." I slip the ring on  Camilles finger.

"Do you miss Camille Evet take River Vanderson to be your lawfully wedded husband through sickness and health?"

"I do." She slips the ring on my finger.

"You May kiss the bride."

I throw the veil over her head and kiss my wife.

"Now that that's over let's party!"

I shake my head. We walk down the steps of the church and walk inside the limo.

"Natalia, not everything about partying,."

She nods her head, "Yes it is. Collage is a fucking drag! It's either not go to party's study and pass, or go to party's not study and fail! There is no balance in between!" Natalia throws her arms up in the air hitting the roof of the limo.

"You have one more year and your done with undergrad school at-least."

she shakes her head grumbling under her breathe, "then four mor years of graduate school ."

The limo stops and everyone piles out.

We walk inside the place where the dinner and party are going to be held.

"Wow this is beautiful," Camille speaks from besides me.

"Not as beautiful as you though," I take her to the side and crash my lips into hers.

"Yuck! Come on you'll have time to do that on your honeymoon!" Natalia ruins our moment and I chuckle.

Hum, so this must be happiness?
