Epilogue
~Lucy's POV~
So, all my friends and I ended up gradating from The Fairy Tail Institution. It was a lovely day of tears, laughter, and delicious food. My father had obviously shown up to the ceremony, our relationship still developing. Both of us had tears in our eyes.
"I'm so proud of you Lucy," he said to me. Just hearing those words made my heart feel better inside. We would get past this feud, I know it.
Natsu's mother also showed up to the ceremony, tears streaming down her face as well. That's when Natsu's and I's parents officially met. Natsu and I awkwardly watched as they greeted each other, eager for a positive reaction.
"Natsu's mother seems like a nice lady," my father told me on our way back home. That's when I knew that every thing was alright.
The day before graduation, I received a letter in the mail. It was sent by the Fairy Tail University. I shakily picked up the letter, holding it in my sweaty palms. I was hesitant for a split second, then ferociously ripped open the small package. My eyes scanned the pages faster then they ever had before.
I got in.
"Natsu!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. I started dancing around the whole apartment. Natsu came sprinting in due to my screams.
"What's wrong Lucy?" He sternly questioned as he grabbed my hand. He probably thought I was in danger, or injured myself. I didn't intend to make him worry.
"I got in!" I yelled, shoving the letter into his chest. I broke away from his grasp and continued dancing around the apartment. It took him a minute to shuffle the papers and process what I had said, but eventually he understood.
"Congrats Luce!" He yelled happily as he joined my celebration dance. We were both so happy.
Natsu had turned in his application a few days ago, so we won't know if he got in for a month or two.
We spent our summer in the city, taking a trip down to the beach. I hung out with all my girls, excited that they made it into the University as well. If possible, we were all going to try and be roommates. About three weeks into the summer, Natsu received his acceptance letter as well.
"See, I told you you would make it!" I said as he picked me up and spun me around.
"Couldn't have done it without you!"
We also turned in our scrap books, which completed our English assignment. Mine was full of pictures of my friends at the library, and of course, Natsu. We both got an A, and brought them back home. We put them on one of the free bookshelves, showing them off for anyone to view.

So, we went to college, and for the most part it was pretty fun. It did have its ups and downs.
Natsu and I actually broke up for about a month, but that's another story...
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Mommy?"
"Yes Ember?" I asked from my rocking chair, I was catching up on all the daily news from my old high school. Ember was staring up at me with her bright onyx eyes. She resembled her father quite a lot, but she did have my hair.
"How did you and papa meet?" She asked as she started sucking her thumb. I was shocked by her question, but instantly smiled. She was staring up at me with those large eyes, definitely a spawn of her father.
"Ah, give me one second." I carefully stood up from my rocking chair, due to the fact that I was seven months pregnant. I walked over towards the near by bookshelf, and grabbed the large shimmering book. Natsu and I had moved into an actual house after he proposed.
I sat back down and motioned for her to come towards me. I helped her up into my lap, her curiosity rising at the shiny book. She had developed one of my most fatal traits, the trait of extreme curiosity. I opened my old scrapbook, a few pieces of glitter falling on my pants.
"We met in school, right before we headed off to college." I began to flip through the book, showing her all the little pictures and trinkets.
"There's daddy!" She screamed with excitement, her dirty finger landing on the clean photo. I didn't mind if this old thing got a little dirty.
"Yup, there his is. He's handsome isn't he?" She shook her head as she turned the large page. "There's aunt Levy and Uncle Gajee!" Yes, Ember called Gajeel, Unle Gajee. We would always make fun of him, he used to hate it. Levy's actually expecting her first child any day now. I played with her hair as she continued to flip through the colorful book.
"Juvi and Elsa!" Ember shrieked again.
"Elsa?"I questioned, looking at her with a confused look on her face.
"Daddy told me to call Gray Elsa." She looked up at me with innocent eyes. I rolled my eyes but ended up laughing. Really Natsu? Even though they roomed in college, they still have an ongoing feud. Juvia and Gray were currently on their honeymoon. They went to Greenland for a nice stay up in the mountains.
After flipping through a few pages, Ember stopped.
"Mommy, do you love daddy?" I instantly laughed at her question. After Natsu and I gradated and found stable jobs, we immediately wanted children.
"Yes, very much." I said as I ruffled her hair.
"Ah I knew it!" I heard Natsu yell as he approached us. He planted a kiss on the top of my head before he picked up Ember. "I knew she loved me." Natsu said he poked Ember's little tummy.
"I suppose you're correct." I said with a smile.
This was my family, and I loved them all very much.
A good girl can turn any bad boy good.
