Kael's POV:
"Who could love a rogue."

The words spat out and there were like knives they hit her and my heart shatter. I realised what I had done when she got up and walked out of the room.

What have I done. I don't have a problem with rogues but after they attacked Kaleb, it's who I am now, someone who's not meant to be mess with but I've taken this too far.

I wasn't expecting this at all today started like any other. I was woken up by my beta and his mate.

**Two Hours Earlier**
"Come on sleepy head your dad will kill me if your not at school and your mom will probably throw something at my head."

I heard his mate chuckle and I got up groaning.

Don't get me wrong Dillon is one of my best friends but he has his mate just like almost everyone else in the pack and to the people who are my friends nearly everyone of them has found there mate but me.

I feel like I have no reason to get up in the morning, I only go to school to hang out with my friends. I don't need to learn anything at school my job as Alpha is already set so I just...well I became the bad boy.

As I walked down stairs I noticed Jace slip out the back door before I spot my friends with their mates. They look so happy and I feel like a sore thumb, I stick out okay I'm not the only one but it's different; I'm the Alpha.

"Kael, Kael bro you alright?"

I must have spaced out because Dillon began to shake my shoulder. I felt Spades growl as he took control in my moment of weakness.

"Yeah Dill I'm fine!"

I didn't mean to make it come out harsh but it did and I regretted it. Ryan pulled Skippy to his side and Kilah put her hand on my shoulder before sitting down.

"Sorry Dill I didn't mean to snap."

Lottie smile at Dillon and he put his hand on my shoulder once again but this time Spades didn't snap.

"It's alright bro."

Just as we were having a forgiving moment the unforgivable walked in with her forced friend.

"Hey baby, Roxy go."

The unforgivable is Jody. Roxy is Skippy's sister, she doesn't like Jody but she is forced to hang out with her because of her parents but when I'm alpha that will all change trust me.

"Shouldn't you lot be in school."

The minute my dad walked in everyone rushed off leaving me alone with my dad.

"Son a word please."

He said stopping me from walking off and I turned to look at him. This better not be about getting Spades in control, I can't help it if he is taking control more we've both been on edge for months now.

"Son your mother and I have decided to give you a year to find your mate if you don't find your mate by then, well you can become Alpha."

I just nod and run out to my car, thank the goddess it wasn't about Spades kicking off. I feel he's being tense because we're close to finding our mate soon.

'I don't think I can wait another year.'

I know Spades, trust me I know.

He's right, Spades is my wolf and I couldn't agree more I don't care about the Alpha part well I do but not as much as finding my mate.

"What did your old man want?"

As I got to the parking lot Bentley was the first to ask and I couldn't help but laugh.

"Just about giving me a year to find my mate and become Alpha sooner or I'll have to wait till the end of the year."

They all chuckled and Ryan suggested we get going.

"Don't tell the unforgivable."

He said with a smirk as we walked closer to the building.

'Don't need to tell me twice.'

Spades chipped in and that's when it hit me.

It was at that moment when I caught the scent, it intoxicated me; it was divine, it was coconut, strawberry and cream. It got stronger and stronger as I got to my class.

I headed to my seat with the others but all I could see was a few rogues, humans and my pack members.

As I sat down with the guys we started talking and there was a girl sitting alone staring out the window. It was her, it was her scent that was intoxicating me.

I could feel Spades smirking in my head. We finally found her, my beautiful mate.

'That's mate, that's mate.'

Someone poked me and I got back into talking with the guys I was going to talk to her after class when we were alone. I can see she's uncomfortable but why I don't know.

Then out of nowhere someone mentioned rogues.

I couldn't help but loss control of my words, a rogue attacked my brother it nearly killed him, something just snapped.

"Who could love a rogue."

I bolted out the room ignoring Dillon and everyone else.

The teacher tried to stop me but I let out a low growled and the teacher moved away from the door.

Where did she go. I need to find her, I can't lose her now I've just found her, she is beautiful with her green eyes and platinum blonde hair but now I've lost her.

'Well maybe if you hadn't said that horrible thing you would know.'

Spades was right but I blocked him from talking to me as I caught her scent. She was by her locker but as I approached her Bentley jumped out of nowhere.

"Stay away from my sister."

What the hell, my mate had the same expression on her face but then her face softened and she placed her hand on his arm.

"It's okay, Ben it's okay."

He turned to look at her and I could feel a growl stick in my throat. I don't want him close to my mate, brother or not.

"I'll be in the gym if you need me okay."

He whispered before placing a piece of paper in her hands and slowly walking away, leaving just me and her.

"Wh..what do you want?"

She said shakily I knew what I had said hurt her it was now that I realised she is a rogue. I had hurt my mate.

"I'm sorry.."

I paused I don't even know her name, I bet it's beautiful. She looked up clearly noticing my pause and took a deep breath.

"Rikki Adams."

Rikki her name is breathtaking, I could hear Spades purr in my head, she's perfect even her name is perfect.

"I'm sorry Rikki, I'm Kael Moon."

She looked back to her locker and Spades whimpered I hated it how she looks away but I know why.

"Kael Moon I re...re..."

Before she finished her sentence I crashed my lips on top of hers I wasn't in control anymore. She was going to reject me and Spades wasn't going to let that happen.

I need her in my life because know I've met her I can't think of life without her before I was just existing but now I'm alive.

"Kael Moon I am yours."

Her wolf said in between our kiss, all I could feel were the sparks, they were amazing, she was my mate and she was kissing me back.

I felt myself take back control, I have my mate. She accepted me but she nearly rejected me, I have to make it up to her.
