If you like this story then please check out my new story EVERY LITTLE THING! It needs all the love it can get! 😊

This piece pasta of is fat reminds me of Brody's head.

This piece of pasta is long, reminds me of how much of a lanky shit Brody is.

This piece of pasta is small reminds me of Brody's dic-

"What did the pasta ever do to you?" I tore my eyes away from my mangled pasta to look up at a smirking Craig leaning across my table.

Ignoring his comment about my aggression towards my food I spoke "Rose is at the dentist's,"

At the mention of her name, he awkwardly rubbed at the back of his head and to my dismay, he sat in the empty seat beside me.

I glared at him and he was totally oblivious as he let a stream of words escape his mouth.

"She keeps ignoring me and I don't know why, since we you know," He made a sexual gesture with his hand and I scrunched my face up in disgust "She told me that night she had always had a crush on me and now she acts as if I didn't exist," He let out an exaggerated sigh and I found myself unable to form words.

Who did he think I was? Oprah?

I had no idea how to console him, we weren't close. Of course, he was in a few of my classes and he would linger behind Brody whenever we had one of our famous arguments but I wasn't friends with him.

But I was friends with Rose.

It all made sense now. Craig wanted me to give him some insight into my best friend's brain. Well unfortunately for you, I wasn't going to budge. I couldn't possibly tell him that my friend was ignoring him because she was more interested in his best friend. Craig was a good guy, he didn't deserve to have his heartbroken.

It would also cause an uproar at the popular table and believe me no one would want to witness that.

Even though I  secretly wanted Craig to ruin Brody's face, it wasn't worth the drama spilling Rose's secrets would cause.

"She doesn't tell me anything Craig, you know more than I do," I lied and gave him a sympathetic look when his head dropped at my words. It was never a pleasant sight to witness someone's heartbreak regardless of who they were.

"Will you tell her I asked after her?" He glanced up at me with a hopeful look in his eyes and I nodded in response afraid if I spoke I'd say the wrong thing.

"You are great you know that Ivy," He unexpectedly placed a hand on my own and I looked down at the gesture in confusion.

He was behaving as if I'd given him my kidney. I forced a smile flashing it in his direction which he mimicked unaware that I was extremely uncomfortable with his touch. I also noticed he hadn't moved his hand so I awkwardly pulled it away pretending I did it so I could use it to brush away the hair straying in my eyes.

"Craig, what are you doing?" That familiar voice caused my whole body to tense and I found myself holding onto the table just like Edward did in Twilight minus the fingerprint marks on the wood. I peeked up for a nanosecond to find Brody stood before us carrying a tray filled with food.

Even the fact he had more food than necessary pissed me off. There are people starving in the world because you're eating all the food you jerkface.

As you might already know, I haven't been around Brody since our incident in my bedroom and I tell you it's for the best. I didn't want to go to jail for murder. He'd called me heartless.

I sounded like a scorned lover trust me I know. It just hurt that he had called the shot as if he's Mr Almighty. I remember distinctly trying to break off our deal in the janitor's closet but he had ignored me and seduced me instead.

Double standards are not cool.

And sorry to burst your bubble Brody, you are just a twat in gym shorts.

Craig looked over his shoulder and nodded his head in acknowledgement before gesturing towards me "Just talking to Ivy,"

I didn't have to look to know his eyes were focusing on me. Despite myself, I looked up and locked his gaze neither one of us breaking away. It felt like a very heated staring contest and I ignored Craig awkwardly clearing his throat as he attempted to break the tension circling us.

I wouldn't admit defeat and look away. He had to know I wasn't affected by his decision. I noticed his face held no emotion and it was strange to find him no longer teasing me.

After a while, a small smile crept on my face when Brody broke our gaze and focused his attention on Craig.

"Practice is after school so I will see you then."

Ignoring me, he turned and walked towards the popular table. By now they had all focused their attention towards us and was watching with curious eyes at our exchange. The idea that he had told them everything crossed my mind but I washed it down, knowing it would be a stupid move on his part.

After all, he wanted to keep his balls right?

I shoved in a forkful of pasta glaring at his retreating frame and began to chew on the rubbery texture but choked at what came out of Craig's mouth.

"You two should just sleep together, I bet that would be some great angry sex,"

"This class is our new student Ryan Owens" I heard a collection of whispers and gasps at the sight of the newest member of our school awkwardly hovering in the doorframe. I even had to slam my mouth shut to prevent the drool from spilling out.

What was stood in front of me was a fallen angel I swear. My eyes raked over his tall slender frame with broad shoulders and biceps that bulged from his crossed arms. He had a mop of muddy blonde hair and heavy solum brows that were offset by his boyish grin. His ocean blue eyes scanned the room and landed on me his grin widening at the sight.

I gulped and sank back in my chair. I diverted my attention to the desk in front of me and tried to hide the blush that had formed from being caught shamelessly checking him out.

I picked up my pen and began to write careless scribbles on my notepad to look as if I was interested in my education rather than the smoking hot boy a few feet in front of me.

I zoned out from the whispers and squeals that had come from the female percentage in the class and I felt the empty seat next to me make a sound as if a weight had put pressure on the plastic.

I saw out of the corner of my eye a pair of bright blue eyes boring into the side of my face and I gulped knowing fully well who those eyes belonged to. I slowly tilted my head in the direction of Mr Perfect and found him staring at me curiously, his eyes scanning my face.

All of a sudden I felt nervous, I could feel my palms sweating and I had to wipe the residue onto my jeans. I couldn't work out if it had to do with the proximity or the fact he was staring at my face without looking disgusted.

I'd been around good looking males all my life, Brody begrudgingly being one of them, but never had they looked at me in such a way.

Like I was interesting.

I also noted the death stares I was getting from the girls in our class. They were all thinking the same thing, there are four empty seats in this room- Why the hell did he choose the one next to me?

I was so consumed by my own thoughts I hadn't realized he had said something. All I saw was his perfectly sculpted cupid's arrow moving against his face. I wondered what he could do with those li-

"What's your name?" If he was irritated for having to repeat himself he didn't show it.

His question registered in my head and because of his intense scrutiny for the love of me I had forgotten my own name.

Jane? No

Kiera? No

Elisa? No

Peac-

"Ivy" There you go "is my lessons too boring for you?" A stern voice interrupted my thoughts and I pried my eyes from a frowning Ryan to face the wrath of Mr Kirk.

He narrowed his pointed eyes at me his face laced in annoyance. I peeped down at the visible fat bulging at the bottom of his tight shirt and cringed at the sight.

The man was what 40? How did he not know his clothing size?

"I'm waiting," He said impatiently and for a second I had forgotten he had asked me a question. I was too worried that those clothing were going to cut off his circulation.

Was he too blind to see I was concerned about his well being?

"Your classes aren't boring sir. " I lied, I'd rather eat kangaroo testicles than sit through his droning voice for an hour. If I had actually said that though it would be like wearing bright red in a pit full of Bulls.

"Then why were you staring at Mr Owens as if he was far more interesting?"

My eyes widened and I felt my blood rush to my ears.

Son of a bitch.

Snickers and irritating laughter spread across the room. I covered my face with my hair to hide my embarrassment. He was suggesting I was a stalker or a creep. I tell you I'm neither one of those names.

Unless following my celebrity crushes on social media and analyzing their every move was classed as stalking?

Is it?

Because I think it's genuinely fascinating to know Matt Lanter likes poached eggs.

"She wasn't staring at me, I asked her a question about the work and she was about to reply when you spoke," My headshot in Ryan's direction and I frowned at the sight of his fists held tightly at his sides and the resentment he held towards Mr Kirk.

I didn't understand why he was defending me but I was grateful. He didn't know me at all, yet he had protected me. He truly was the whole package.

Everyone went silent.

Mr Kirk blinked a few times his pudgy cheeks stained red before he regained himself and muttered a response "Well next time ask her after class,"

Ryan nodded in response and that simple action made him look so cool.

Mr Kirk shook his head and began to write on the board turning his back to us. I didn't need to see his face to know he was flustered for being proven wrong.

GOOD.

"Thanks," I smiled gratefully and what he said next caused my whole body to hyperventilate.

"No worries beautiful," His lips curled up into a smile and I caught sight of his dimples.

Oh dear lord, my ovaries.
