"Okay no, firstly, he's an ass!" I yell at my friends who kept thinking something happened between me and Baxter. "Uh-huh." Poppy laughed and Bodhi smirked. "No you don't get it, we hated eachother so much, that I had to move away from from Queensland." I state while sipping soda from the red cup.

"Speak of the devil." Bodhi grins and I look back to find him smirking at me. "Fucking hell." I mumble as I notice his pink hair. It looked so hot-   I am so dead, he's going to know.

I'm a good actor, but when I have to hide my feelings in front of the person I've been obsessed with for years?! No. Of course not!!
The reason I left Queensland was because I was fucking depressed when I saw him dating that cunt, Emily.

He's going to know and the thought of that is driving me insane. "Hey guys, Hey Layla, what you thinkin' bout?" Summer asks me. Oh nothing just about how I want to kiss Bax right now. "Uh nothing, just nervous, if I'll make the team." I laugh fiddling with my hands.

"You'll make it, don't worry." She pats my shoulder and I smile. "Well, I'm rooting for all of us." Poppy smiles. She deserves team captain, and she better get it.

All of our phones dinged. God I'm so scared. I open it slowly, hands shaking. "What the fuck! I got in!" Wren yells as she wraps her arms around Ari and gives him a kiss. I glance at my phone. "I got in, I GOT IN." I yell as I jump in excitement. "And I'm team captain." I mumble as I look at my phone shocked.

"Poppy, oh my god, thats some BS right there they probably-" she cuts me off. "Hey, Layla you did great. You deserve it!" She laughs it off. Which, sort of brings me at ease.

As everyone celebrated their win, I was out alone near Ari's swing. It felt so peaceful out here. "Boo." Baxter, softly spoke. "Oh my god, im so scared." I sarcastically spoke. He playfully rolls his eyes, before taking a seat next to me. "You know that star up there, is the Ursa Major." He smiles.

"What the fuck? No." I groan. "Well, I tried." He laughs. "Why did you leave Queensland?" He asks me and I go blank. "It was awesome there!" He continued. "It was but, not really my place, y'know."

"This is the first time we both are actually having a conversation that does not include fighting, right?" I spoke and he smirks at me.

"god Layla, has anyone told how hot you are?" He grins. This is all just a dream. It's just a dream, it's just a dream it's just a- before I knew it Bax was slowly leaning in and I found myself leaning in too. Our lips were an Inch away, just as he was about to come closer Bodhi came behind.

"Oh shit, am I interrupting something?" She asks flustered. "No.. no bodes, uhm I'll be right there." I stutter and she nods as she quickly leaves.

I bite the urge to just pull him and kiss him.

"We should go." I mumble as I get up and fix my dress. "Or we could stay here and, you know?" He smirks. "Fuck." I murmer. "You want it too, right?"

"No.. I don't." I state, folding my arms. "God you're so cute." He laughs as he pecks my forehead. How is he so tall?

I stand there stranded, feeling so confused and happy and sad and mad at the same time. I never let anyone make feel this way but Bax, in a few seconds just Completely drove me crazy.
