After saving Wrecker, Crosshair became a lot nicer to me, though it only seemed to last for a week before we were back at each other's throats and it was as if I hadn't saved his brother's life.

A smile spread across my face as I walked up the ramp. Hunter was already waiting for me with a frown on his face.

"You are late." Hunter said as he turned to look at me.

"Sorry, I was... doing some thing." I said as I took a sneak peak behind me.

I heard running and had to hold back a laugh as Crosshair came rushing behind me. He had a frown on his face and he was covered head to toe in mud, leaves, and sticks.

"SHE PUSHED ME DOWN A FUCKING HILL!" Crosshair yelled as he glared up at me.

"Me? I would never do such a thing, Crossy." I said with a smirk.

"I AM GOING TO KILL YOU!" Crosshair yelled as he moved to tackle me.

"No one is killing anyone. (Y/n), apologize." Hunter said as he stepped between us.

"I'll apologize when Crosshair stops throwing toothpicks in my chair." I said as I shot Crosshair a look.

"I'd rather eat a rock." Crosshair growled out.

Hunter let out a groan and rubbed the bridge of his nose.

"I can make that happ-"

"Timeout corner! Both of you!" Hunter yelled cutting me off.

"I hate this family!" Crosshair yelled as we went to opposite area's of the ship.

I plopped down in my chair, that had my name on it, and crossed my legs together. Crosshair set cross legged in his own chair, which had his name on the back.

"Fucking Crosshair, always getting me into trouble." I grumbled as I stared at the wall.

"Me! You're the one who pushed me down the stairs!" Crosshair yelled from across the room.

"Silence! You two are in the time out corner!" Hunter snapped as he set between us, on the couch.

Hunter had made the timeout corner after both me and Crosshair had started a fist fight, which ended with us accidentally hitting him. Hunter was so pissed off he grabbed two chairs and forced us both to sit down for over an hour.

"Hunter, I believe we are missing something." Tech said as he walked into the room.

"Teamwork?" Echo asked with a chuckle.

"Cohesion?" Crosshair asked from across the room.

"A general sense of what we are doing?" I asked as I turned to look at Tech.

"Seriously?" Hunter asked as he sent us all a look. 

"Hey where is Wrecker?" I asked as I looked around.

"As I said, we are missing something." Tech said as he motioned to where Wrecker usually stood.

Hunter and I both blinked a couple times before we jumped up.

"WE FORGOT WRECKER!" I yelled as my eyes went wide.

"DAMN IT NOT AGAIN!" Hunter yelled with a groan. "Crosshair, (Y/n)! You two go get him! Now!"

"But-"

"Now!" He ordered cutting us off.

We chose not to argue, because we knew it was no use. Hunter would have our heads if we didn't do as he asked, especially because he was still upset about the last mission, where we almost blew up the shuttle.

"So much for a shower." Crosshair mumbled under his breath.

I let out a groan and followed Crosshair off the ship.

"Don't come back without Wrecker!" Hunter called out to us.

"I might come back without Crosshair." I thought as I rolled my eyes.

I let out a huff as I followed behind Crosshair.

"Slow down, I can hardly keep up with you." I grumbled out.

"Walk faster than." He growled out.

"Jerk." I grumbled as I started to walk faster.

By the time we made it back to the base, it was pitch black outside and was freezing cold. I was practically out of breath as I stopped and put my hands on my knees. I gasped for air before standing up straight and dusting myself off.

"Wrecker! Are you here!" I called out.

"It's time to head back to the ship!" Crosshair called out.

"I'm sorry that Crosshair forgot you!" I called out.

Crosshair let out a growl and turned to look at me, anger on his face.

"Me! You forgot him!" He snapped.

"Yea, but I was the first to realize he was missing." I said as I crossed my arms over my chest.

"I swear-"

"Can you two please shut up and cut me down!" A voice called out.

We both turned and quickly rushed to the sound of struggling. I couldn't help but to hunch over and burst out into laughter as I found Wrecker hanging upside down.

"Didn't we tell you to be careful?" Crosshair asked with a chuckle.

"Cut me down!"

"I need a picture of this first." I said as I pulled my datapad out. "Echo will have a field day."

"Wait, let me stand beside him." Crosshair said as he walked over to Wrecker.

Crosshair removed his helmet and crouched down beside him, causing me to laugh as I took a couple pictures.

"Thanks, really means a lot, guys." Wrecker mumbled as he glared at us.

"You'd do the same thing if it was us." I said as I let out a laugh.

After we both got some pictures, and sent them to Tech, we cut Wrecker down.

"I like it better when you guys are fighting." Wrecker grumbled as I helped him to his feet.

"Come on, let's get back." I said as I patted his back.

We made it back to the ship, where everyone was waiting for us.

"I can't believe you forgot Wrecker." Echo said with a laugh.

"One time!" I yelled as I held a finger up.

"This was the second time." Echo said with a chuckle.

"Hey! Tech forgot him that time! That wasn't me." I grumbled as I crossed my arms over my chest.

"You were with me, last time I checked." Tech said as he shot me a look. "Therefore it was your fault too."

"You know, I am starting to dislike you, Tech." I growled as I glared at Tech. "Keep this up and I might dislike you more than Crosshair."

"Guess that means I need to step it up." Crosshair said as he shrugged his shoulders and popped his knuckles.

"No you don't, you really don't have to." I said I turned to glare up at him.

"To bad, I have been issued a challenge and I intend to see it thru." Crosshair said as he pushed past me.

"That was not a challenge, and you know it! You bastard!" I called out to him.

I turned to look at Hunter and threw my hands up.

"Do you see what I have to deal with?" I asked angrily. "He's an ass."

"I'm to tired for this." Hunter said as he walked back to the cockpit.

I quickly plopped down on one of the bunks and let out a scream as something stabbed me in the ass.

"Damn it Crosshair! I'm going to kill you!" I yelled as I pulled a toothpick out of my ass.

I left to find him and soon found myself in the fresher. I hadn't realized that he was taking a shower and so I walked in on him in the middle of climbing out of the shower. My face went bright red as I quickly looked away from him.

"Do you not know how to knock, Civie?" Crosshair asked angrily.

"I... sorry." I mumbled as I kept my eyes on the wall.

I felt a hand on my chin and I was forced to turn and lock eyes with Crosshair. He put a hand on the wall, trapping me in between him and the wall.

"You know, if I didn't know any better... I'd think you wanted to walk in on me, Civie." He said with a smirk.

"I... was just... coming to yell at you.. over toothpick." I stuttered as my face turned a darker shade of red.

I held the toothpick up and he let out a chuckle and grabbed it with his free hand, placing it in his mouth. He leaned back and without so much as another word turned and left the fresher, leaving me alone and embarrassed.
