If you don't know what among us is then it's basically a space-based game where someone tries to kill everyone else while they do tasks... yeah, just watch someone play it on YouTube. I'm rubbish at explaining stuff. 

Also, I'm going to try and be creative with the names and colours and ehhh.... 

ImposterDisease has spread over 50 spaceships. Please check your crew regularly for Imposters! 

Newest infected ship report: 

 Amber flicked off the hologram screen showing the news and sighed. It had been the same every day for a month. ImposterDisease. An alien virus causing crew to grow mad and start killing others. No visible signs until the dead pile up and...

'What'ya doing?' 

'Snow! You scared the life out of me!' Amber turned on the crewmate in the white spacesuit. 

'Sorry, I guess. Checking the reports?'

'Yes.'

'Amber, it's not like anyone on our ship is infected... They mainly attack bigger crews.' 

'We still have eight of us! Eight means 2 imposters...'

'Eight means nothing. Calm down... it's not like we've been in contact with any of the infected ships... The Skeld II is safe.'

'I hope you're right...' Amber looked away. Snow looked back at her once more before setting off, out of the canteen. He'd go and clear some leaves out of the filter in O2. Why there were leaves deep in space was a mystery to everyone. They'd eventually decided it was alien poop. 

As Snow finished cleaning them down the vent, he heard footsteps behind, and looked sharply over to see Greene standing just outside the door. 

'Hey, Greene!' Unsurprisingly, Snow's friend wore a green spacesuit. 

'Hey Snow. How's everything going?'

'Good. How about you?'

'Oh, fine... fine... did you hear about the ImposterDisease?'

'Ha! It'll never infect our ship.'

Greene approached, and Snow glanced over in time to see his friend draw a knife.

He didn't even have time to scream.

Amethyst stood in Storage, sorting out the wires. They were a mess again. She quickly welded the red ones together as Blue stepped up behind her. She looked over and smiled under her helmet.

'Hey... sorting out the wires again?'

'Yeah... you ok?'

'Oh, I'm fine.' 

He stuck his knife in her chest, and she collapsed, just as they began to hear footsteps behind. Blue scarpered, leaving Amethyst dead, her purple suit stained red. 

'What happened here?! Ruby, did you do this?'

Greene ran up beside Ruby, who had just knelt beside Amethyst's dead body. 

'Call a meeting. Now.' 

Greene flicked a couple button on the screen that showed his tasks, pressing the Emergency Meeting button. Everyone alive glitched over to cafeteria. Amber looked across her crew, clearly terrified.

'Where's Snow and Amethyst?' She asked in a panic. 

'Dead.' Ruby confirmed, 'Me and Greene found Amethyst's body in storage. Already dead. There's an imposter among us.'

'Seven Crew means 2 imposters...' Amber muttered, before turning away and activating a communicator,

'Skeld II has imposters. I repeat. Skeld II has imposters. Two dead so far. I'll keep you updated.'

'So... who is it? Who's... the imposter?' 

'Imposters. There has to be more than one.' 

'Amber calm down. I'm sure it'll be fine...' Ocean tried to calm his panicking captain to no avail. The crewmate in the cyan spacesuit sighed. 'Amber...'

'I've failed. I've failed all of you. I'm sorry. This is my fault...' She sunk into her chair, head in hands. Ruby tried to comfort her, until Greene spoke again.

'I saw Ruby by the body. He must've done it.' As he spoke, he glanced over at Blue. The appropriately coloured spaceman nodded back. 

'If you found him by the body, he must've done it.'

'Come on! I didn't kill him! Surely it was someone else... Blue? Where were you?'

'Fixing wires in Electrical.' His prompt reply seemed sensible enough. 

'Uhh... Guys?' 

'Marigold, shut up. You've been messing around ever since you got on this ship!'

'I'm serious! Listen to me!'

'So, who votes Ruby?' Greene prompted again.

'Guys! I'm not sus! I've done nothing wrong!'

'Likely story...' Blue joined in again.

'Right. Greene and Blue are your imposters.'

'Stop lying, Ruby, and admit that we caught you. I SAW you murder her.'

'No you didn't! You're just making stuff up now!'

'Everyone vote!'

Marigold, Ruby, Greene and Blue voted. Ocean was still too busy trying to calm down Amber. And in the end, it was Ruby with the most votes.

'What! No! I'm innocent! It isn't me! I'm not the imposter! Amber! Please! Stop them!' Ruby struggled as Blue and Greene dragged him from his chair, kicking back in terror. 'PLEASE! STOP! I'M INNOCENT!' The airlock opened, and Ruby screamed out for mercy as he was pushed into the dark void of space, the door closing quickly behind.

Silence.

'Right. Let's carry on with tasks.' Greene walked off happily towards the Medbay. Marigold watched him go, before heading down to Electrical, Amber next to her.

'Are you ok?' She asked her captain. Amber sighed back.

'I'm a terrible captain.'

'No you're not! You're a brilliant captain! I wouldn't want anyone else leading us in this time.'

'You... you sure?'

'Absolutely.' Marigold smiled under her helmet. 

'I need to upload data. See you around.' Amber looked away, entering Admin. Marigold sighed, before continuing on to Electrical. Still thinking about how she'd failed everyone, Amber began to upload from her i-pad. 

Greene stood in med-bay, pretending to scan. All he had to do was wait until Ocean left. Then he could vent into Electrical, see if anyone was there, and kill.

Or you could just kill Ocean now. His hands itched to grab his knife and slay his pathetic comrade. He would have no idea. 

Foolish human.

'It's taking a long time for you to scan, eh?' Ocean challenged. 

Sh**.

Sh**.

SH**.

He knew. HE KNEW. He had to kill now. This was his chance. He stepped off the scanner, pulling out his knife. 

'I wonder why that is?'

Ocean ran. Greene didn't follow, instead venting into Electrical. He saw Marigold above, sorting wires, and jumped out, not noticing Amber, or Blue just behind her as she stood, watching, helpless, as he lunged to slit her throat and-

EMERGENCY MEETING.

Greene almost screamed with fury as he teleported into Cafeteria. He hid his knife quickly, seeing Blue do the same. Amber was up on her feet already.

'GREENE'S THE IMPOSTER! I saw him vent next to Marigold.' 

'He was going to kill me too!' Ocean added. 

'What? Greene would never kill anyone!' Blue flew to his fellow imposter's support. 

'Really? Well how come he just did?'

'I didn't kill anyone! I haven't killed anyone at all!'

'LIAR!'

The votes were cast, and Greene's heart sunk as he saw he was voted out. He had failed. The airlock hissed open and he looked out into the abyss. Marigold was signalling for him to jump out and he had to fight the urge to drag her out with him. She deserves it. All of them do. They deserve to die. He thought bitterly, before jumping into his death.

The remaining crew mates and imposter looked around. If 2 of them died, it would all be over. Marigold, Amber, Ocean, Blue. The four survivors. With a suspicious look around, Marigold walked off, followed by Blue. Amber and Ocean glanced between each other, then back to where Marigold's dead body now lay. 

Blue's the other imposter. Ocean thought to himself, just as the warning lights flashed above, signalling a reactor meltdown. Amber was already sprinting over to save it, and Ocean followed behind, cursing loudly to himself as the doors slammed shut just in front of him. Blue approached, clearly grinning, knife out. 

This is it. If Blue doesn't kill me, then the reactor will blown up this whole ship. It takes two people to fix it. WHY DOES IT TAKE TWO PEOPLE TO FIX IT?! 

But then the only plan left came to his head. He ran, dashing towards Marigold's body. If he could report it before Blue could kill him, they could vote him off. But Blue still stood in the way, as the doors opened again, revealing Amber, panting, standing right next to Marigold's body and reporting. 

The meeting was the quickest one yet. Blue was ejected, leaving Amber and Ocean alone on the ship. Amber quickly told a nearby ship what had happened, and they were coming now to take the two of them to safety. 6 had died. They had barely made it out alive themselves. 

But that's what always happens when there are imposters among us...

I wrote half of this ages ago, and only finished it now. 

It's based off of a series of among us fan-art I made.
