Ruhana and Vineet reach the bureau only to find that everyone is busy in an active discussion. Sharing a meaningful glance, they join the discussion, and Freddy, being the affectionate soul he is, asks about Anamika. Everyone appreciates this gesture by Freddy. Despite being the boss, Ruhana still refers to him as 'Sir' respectfully, and so does Vineet. She glances at him.

"Freddy Sir, Anamika thik hai. Aaj shaam tak use chhutti mil jayegi," Ruhana informs, her tone convincing.

"Arey wah, ye toh achchi baat hai. Umeed hai ek do din mein wo wapas join kar legi," Freddy says, his tone energetic as always.

"Yes Sir, vo jaldi aa jayegi. Infact, agar aapko usse milna hai toh aap mere ghar pe aa sakte ho," Ruhana says, after giving much thought to the ideas bubbling in her mind.

"Arey wah, zaroor aaunga, aisa karte hain, hum aaj hi use surprise dete hain," Freddy suggests, his tone light; and he spreads smiles across all the faces in the bureau.

"Freddy Sir, case toh solve hone dijiye, fir decide karte hain ki kya karna hai," Vineet says, a smile tugging on his lips.

"Case solve ho hi gaya samjho! Rakesh ji ke ghar se jo diary mili thi na, usme ek entry thi! Ek gang hai, Syndicate Wolves," Freddy informs them, and Ruhana's eyes widen in astonishment.

"Syndicate! Really? I – I have heard a lot about them. Vo log human trafficking aur drug peddling aur bhi na jaane kya kya karte hain. Ek case ke silsiley mein maine bhi iss gang ko track kiya tha," Ruhana shares her insights with her team.

"Apne findings nikaalo, Ruhana. Hume un records se bahut madad mil sakti hai. Insp Vikram ne bhi Syndicate Wolves ki kuch details bheji hain, mujhe lagta hai ki unke hi kisi gang member ne Inspector Awasthi ko maara hai," Rajat remarks, his tone professional and to the point.

Ruhana nods, opens her laptop, and connects a hard disk to her computer. Everyone gathers around the table, and together they look at the data she has about the said gang. As they're going through the pictures that Ruhana clicked, something strikes Pankaj's mind, and he asks her to stop.

"Kya hua, Pankaj?" Ruhana asks, visibly annoyed by the interruption.

"Maine iss aadmi ko kahin dekha hai!" He says, pointing at the picture on the screen.

"Kahan dekha? Yaad kar, Pankaj!" Vineet nudges him.

"Arey, maine isko Rakesh ji ke ghar ke aas paas dekha tha, jab hum unke ghar pe talashi karne gaye the," Pankaj says, elated that he could help his team.

"Aur isne apna naam Raghu bataya tha," he adds, glancing at his team.

"Raghu naam iss list mein hai, iska matlab vo vahan kuch dhoondhne aaya tha, jo use mila nahi," Rajat says, his demeanor thoughtful, as he glances at the picture on the screen.

"Rajat Sir, udhar hume hi kuch nahi mila, toh uss Raghu ko kya milega! Bas ek diary mili, par ye achcha hua ki iss gang ke baare mein kuch pata chala," Freddy says, his tone irked at the half information they have.

"Tumhara gunehgaar shayad ye Raghu hi hai," Dr. Salunkhe enters the lab and informs the team that the bottles of thallium, which Rajat and Ruhana got from the cleaner, have Raghu's fingerprints on them.

"Great, iska matlab hai ki Raghu kaafi time se Rakesh ji ke peeche tha. Vikram ne bataya tha na ki kuch time se vo unse music academy mein milte the, iska matlab hai ki unko shaq tha ki koi unke peeche laga hua hai!" Ruhana concludes, and everyone nods in affirmation.

"Raghu ka pata chal jaaye toh iss Syndicate gang ko bhi pakad lenge," Vineet says, gritting his teeth in anger.

"Freddy Sir, wo diary denge mujhe? Pata nahi kyun, mujhe lag raha hai ki hume uss diary se kuch clue mil sakta hai," Ruhana says, gazing at Freddy who passes her the diary.

"Haan, ye ho sakta hai, Ruhana. Tum diary check karo aur Vineet, tum Raghu ka pata lagao, uski location trace karo," Rajat commands, and everyone else splits into teams and gets to work.

Vineet got busy on the call, while on the other hand, Ruhana is reading through the diary when she finds two pages glued together. She shares a glance with Freddy, who's sitting beside her.

"Ye kya hai?" Freddy asks, intrigued at the moment.

"Lagta hai isme kuch chhupaya hai. Recently hi kisi ne isey chipkaya hai," Ruhana says and cuts through the pages.

To her surprise, a chip slips through the papers, containing strong clues against the said gang. A few hours pass by, and Vineet traces Raghu's location to an abandoned sugar mill in the forest areas of Panvel.

As per Ruhana's direction, they head towards the mill to catch the culprit. Luckily, after what seems like ages, the CID team is able to lay their hands on the Syndicate Wolves gang. Raghu is the first one to be caught. He confesses that he killed Insp Awasthi, leading to the arrest of the whole gang. The proof on the chip is enough to sentence them to death.

After putting the culprits in CID custody, the team returns to the bureau to finalize the paperwork. Ruhana is typing furiously on the computer when her phone rings. She answers the call, and Suhanika's voice asks about her whereabouts. Ruhana assures her that she will reach the hospital in an hour.

After disconnecting the call, Ruhana looks up only to find Vineet sitting in front of her. His gaze has many questions, and she sighs deeply, knowing she can open her deepest secrets to him.

"Vineet, main soch rahi hoon ki main Anamika ko apne saath le jaati hoon. Papa ko abhi 2-3 din lagenge lautne mein. Tab tak wo reh legi mere sath. Aur main koshish karungi ki use samjha sakun," Ruhana expresses her feelings.

"Aur main Suhanika ko samjhaunga. Baat itni badi nahi hai jitna use banaya jaa raha hai," Vineet says, his tone concerned.

"Jaanti hoon. Mera matlab hai ki unhone apne parents ko khoya, wo badi baat hai, lekin ab jo wo dono lad rahe hain, wo galat hai. Kyunki Vineet, galti toh kisi se bhi ho sakti hai na. Main thik kar rahi hoon na?" she asks.

He reaches out to hold her hands, squeezes them, assuring her that she's doing the right thing at the moment. She smiles, glad to have him by her side. They finish their work and head to the hospital.

Vineet and Ruhana reach the hospital and find that Anamika is ready to go. However, she’s not willing to talk to her sister. Ruhana tries her luck one more time, but she knows it’s no use. Anamika is adamant and won’t budge once she’s made up her mind.

“Achcha, thik hai! Main tujhe apne sath le jaungi, lekin tujhe meri ek baat maanni padegi. Manzoor hai?” Ruhana asks, rolling her eyes at Anamika.

“Kaunsi baat? Dekho Di, agar aap mujhe ghar jaane ko bologe toh main nahi jaungi, mujhe unke sath baat nahi karni,” Anamika says, her tone blunt as she refers to Suhanika.

“Ana, tu gussa mat kar! Tu abhi Di ke sath jaa, I will manage,” Suhanika says, trying to calm her sister.

“Aap toh manage kar hi rahe ho, main hi nahi kar paayi, aur aap jaao na, main Ruu Di ke sath jaungi, mujhe aapse baat nahi karni,” Anamika retorts, glancing at Suhanika, who’s teary-eyed by now.

“Anu, aisa nahi karte hai naa! Wo teri behen hai,” Ruhana says, her tone soft and convincing.

“Di, ab aap chalo yahan se, mujhe achcha nahi lag raha,” Anamika says, ignoring her words.

Ruhana sighs and walks out with Anamika but also asks Vineet to take care of Suhanika, who’s about to break down due to her sister’s harsh words. Additionally, for Vineet’s peace of mind, she tells him that she has called Rajat to drop her home and that he should take care of Suhanika. Vineet nods in understanding.

As Anamika leaves with Ruhana, Suhanika breaks into tears, leaning into Vineet for support.

He embraces her, providing the much-needed comfort, and then takes her home. However, on their way home, she says something that leaves Vineet astonished.
