Morning

Avneet's POV

This morning defines hectic. Receiving all the guests and helping them accommodate in the guest rooms was more than difficult. We had to get up early in the morning to receive them. We had to dress up professionally for this cause.

Jannat is finding it hard to control her temper due to the growing tantrums of Siddharth's cousins and I am taking special care to keep her away from Mrs. Ratna, Siddharth's Mami.

Due to this huge pile of tasks, I and Jannat decided to call upon our Assistant from this branch, so that he can help us.

"Jannat, how does he look like?" I asked her.

"He is tall, handsome and well-built. He'll provide lot of assistance to us." She answered skeptically.

Here he comes. Mr. Faisal Shaikh.

A/n : Don't think what you are thinking! You are wrong.

"Hello Ladies! No fear, when Faisu is here!" He said while approaching us.

As soon as he entered, Jannat took him aside."Where are you taking him?" I asked.

"I just want to explain him all the details, so there's no confusion at all" She said and took him away. She is planning something since last night,of which I don't have any idea. Fingers crossed.

"Avneet! Come here" shouted Bhaiya from the dining table and I hastily went there.

"Come sit and have breakfast. You are working non-stop since morning" said Di.

I looked all over the huge table and found that almost everyone was present. It certainly felt wrong to sit amongst them.

"Um..no. We will have it sometime later" said Jannat.

"Yeah! We should not be interrupting your family time." I said honestly.

"What the fu...hell Avneet!" said Di.

"In these seven years na, you have lost a lot of brain cells! I can clearly see that now" scolded Mom and from the corner of my eyes I saw Siddharth chuckling.

"You are a part of our family! And Jannat...don't you call me 'Bhaiya', and Vaishnavi 'Di'! Then it's totally clear, that you are a part of our family too!" Bhaiya said seriously.

"But-" Jannat tried to say but Mom shook her head.

"No buts and no ifs! Sit down both of you or else.." she threatened.

We both quickly sat down besides Di and I saw that Mom has prepared her special 'Chai' (tea)!

"Mom! Is that your special tea?" I asked excited

"Yes of course it is! I knew you liked it very much so I made it especially for you" she said knowingly.

"Aww Thanks! You're the best! Jannat you should definitely have it!" I said.

Everyone started their breakfast but I decided to first drink the tea. I was about to take a sip of it when Siddharth spoke up.

"Hmm.. It's too hot..." He said calmly more to himself than anyone else.

"What Sid? And whom are you talking to?" asked Reem, her cousin sister I guess.

"No one!" He said and continued with his breakfast. I and Reem co-incidentally looked at each other and both shared a 'Is he dumb?' look.

I took the first sip and WTF! I realize now, what he was talking about. The tea is too hot. I kept the cup back and saw that a glass of ice cold water was kept in front of me. As much as I can remember, this was not here before.........

Faisal picked up the glass and signalled me to drink it. I guess he saw my sudden tea- burst. As soon as the water came in contact with my tongue, it relieved the burning sensation.

After finishing breakfast we continued our pending work.

Siddharth's POV

This weddings are soo...Ugh! All these guests and relatives have occupied the entire house, not that I care but my cousins are pestering me. And Ratna Mami! Everytime I pass by her or she sees me, she'll ask the same question.."When will you get married?" Then I have to make an excuse and flee from there.

As I was walking towards my room I saw her leaning on the stairs. Before she could see me, I ran off from there, again...and bumped into someone.

Ahh! Jannat!

"I swear Siddharth! I.....She.." she was irritated.

"What? What did I do now?" I asked back with the same irritation.

"That.. Ratna Mami of yours is getting on my nerves now!" she snapped.

"Oh! Same here girl! But what did she say to you" I asked curiously.

"Wait I'll tell you everything" she said.

Flashback

Jannat is going towards the living room when someone called her. She looked around and saw that Ratna Mami was calling her.

"Yes Mam! How may I help you?" She asked patiently.

"Sit here!" said Ratna and Jannat sat down besides her.

"Puttar, do you know what is the story between Siddharth and your friend Avneet?" she asked her slowly.

"Umm..No. I don't know what you are talking about" lied Jannat.

"Arey! Teri dost hai na vo! Bata na" she insisted.

"Mam...Mujhe nahi pata" she said again.

"Accha thik hai! I'll find that out sooner or later...You tell me do you have a boyfriend?" she asked winking.

As all the gossiping queen aunties, Ratna expected her to blush and turn around shyly but Jannat plainly said 'No'.

She kept on asking her the same question everytime she saw her. But just like Siddharth, Jannat also used her Ninja Techniques and ran away or hide herself from her.

End of Flashback

"Ohh....I see! We'll do something to keep her engaged" I winked and told her my plan. After listening to my plan with full attention she hi-fied me.

"So 'Team RV' is ready!" She said enthusiastically.

"RV?" I asked.

"Team Ratna Victims!" She said and we both started laughing.

I went down and saw Avneet standing on a table and settling the flower decorations. Mom was right...Shehas lost a lot brain cells in the past seven years. When there are servants and helpers who can do that work, then why does she have to do that?

She finished the task and was getting down..

"Aahh!" she whimpered in pain and I rushed towards her.

"What's wrong? What happened?" I asked quickly.

"She got down safely but I guess her ankle twisted" said Faisal who was sitting down besides her, holding her ankle. Then he gently lifted her up in his arms.

"Faisal...I can walk" she protested.

Yeah dude! Even if she can't, then I am here to carry her in my arms.......

"Can't you be thoda careful?" I asked.

"I was careful" she whispered. I guess it's paining a lot or else she would have yelled at me.

"Siddharth calm down! It's not a sprain" said Jannat while coming towards us.

"Then what is it, Mam?" I said sarcastically.

"It's just a cramp" she replied.

"Cramp... Avneet, do you get cramps all the time?"

"No...It's just that.." she started looking here and there.

"What is it Ms. Sharma?" asked Faisal.

"Arey Dumbos! She is on her periods! It a bhi nahi samajhta?" answered Jannat.

As soon as she said that Avneet's cheeks turned red due to embarrasment. Faisal laid her on the couch in the living room and rested her foot on a pillow.

"Height of stupidity!" I yelled at her as I stormed out of there.

Avneet's POV

He just left.......

The pain of his departure is ten times more intense than the pain due to the cramp. I thought....  Yeah I just thought.

Two minutes silence for my huge expectations.
