Suddenly he pulled out a black rose from his pocket and the entire hall went silent.

"Sid, what is this?" I asked him in confusion.

"This black rose is for you" he forwarded it and I took it hesitantly.

"But usually people give red roses...and moreover black rose stands for ......" I said slowly.

"Yeah black rose for you. I just wanted all of you to know how much I love her" he said and everyone looked at him curiously.

"Black rose stands for eternal love. A love that never ends. A love which is above everything and anything. Black rose is in fact, a symbol of infinite love" he explained and I could feel the tears forming in my eyes.

"And this rose here, is very rare. In the entire Asia, this is the only black infinity rose you can get right now. As the love of my life is very special and rare herself, I had to gift her something rare" he said and everyone started hooting and clapping again.

"I love you so much Siddharth" I said and pulled him in for a kiss not caring about people watching us.

"I love you too Avneet. More than I can ever explain and I am very sorry once again for all the times I've hurt you." He said kissing the top of my forehead.

"Enough of this sorry now" I said pouting.

"Okay, then let's go" he said leading me out of the college.

"Okay before I leave, I just wanted all of you to know that I'm grateful for your support. And always remember, communication is the key, don't let misunderstandings come in between you and your loved ones" he said before going out.

"I really can't believe all this happened. It feels like a dream and I'm afraid that I'll wake up and realize this never happened" I said staring at him.

"This isn't a dream Avneet. Do you really think I'd marry you without a proper proposal or engagement?" He said slightly offended.

"The ring is so beautiful, thanks once again. You know I had accepted the fact that I wasn't going to get a proper engagement but you proved me wrong" I said looking at the ring.

"I'm sorry Avneet, but I have to say you are so dumb" he said laughing suddenly.

"Hey shut up. I'm not dumb, what are you talking about?" I said angrily.

"Last night Janu and Fais asked you about your dream proposal and then too you didn't feel a bit suspicious?" He said still laughing.

"I thought....Oh, now that I think about it, I should've understood! Shitt man!" I cursed out.

"Baby, I'm so sorry you have to tolerate your dumb Mumma all the time. I feel so sorry for you" he said talking to my stomach.

"Haww! Get lost bandar ke bacche!" I said hitting his shoulder.

"Just kidding okay?" He said defending himself.

"So we are going home now?" I asked as we got in the car again.

"No, we are going to the moon. Ofcourse we are going home, you need to rest" he said putting on his seatbelt.

"Go to hell! I can't just rest 24×7 Sid. Let's go somewhere na!" I said sadly.

"Okay where do you want to go?" He asked giving in.

"Let's go the beach!" I said excited.

"Okay...Gosh woman wear your seatbelt for once" he said shaking his head and proceeded to make me wear the seatbelt.

"Why do you get so scared everytime we sit in the car?" I asked amused.

"It's nothing Avneet. Put on some songs" he said avoiding my question.

"Alright. Gimme your phone" I asked and he passed it to me.

"Password?" I asked as he refused to use his finger for the fingerprint pass while driving.

"You know" he replied smirking.

I thought for a while and then typed the first guess and yup! I guessed it right.

"Banbit13 ha?" I asked him smirking.

"So, you just have to sit in the car and wait until I call you. After that you can come over to the beach" I said.

After I was done, I called him and he came up to me in a minute's time.

"What were you upto?" He asked suspiciously.

"You didn't need to put so much efforts but.....wow" he said surprised and turned to look at me and found me bending on one knee.

"Avneet what..?" He asked but I shushed him.

"Don't stop me. It's my turn now to tell you how much I love you. Siddharth Nigam, the day you entered my life, you changed my life upside down. You became my bestest friend, my madoo. I never knew someone could love me this much. " I said looking into his eyes.

"Avneet........ " He said falling short for words.

"Sid, I lost my parents long back..... But whenever I am with you, I never feel like I lost them, it feels like I have everything with me. The way you love me, I see my parents in you sometimes. Thank you for filling that void in my life. I don't even know how I can repay you" I said getting emotional.

"Shut up! And get up first of all" He said helping me get up.

"I don't even have anything to give to you right now" I said on the verge of tears.

"It feels an honor that you can see uncle and aunty's love in me. I promise you Avneet, whatever happens in life I'll always protect you and keep loving you forever and always. And about a gift, you've already gave me the biggest gift I could ever receive. You've made me the happiest man alive" He said wrapping his arms around my waist.

When Avu said she could feel the love of her parents, when I'm around I can't even describe the feeling I got.

"Sid what are you waiting for? I've put on my seatbelt too, start the car na" She said bringing me out of my thoughts.

"Good. I was just thinking something" I said and was about to start the car when she stopped me again.

"Siddharth I'm feeling cold" She said pouting.

"I'll put off the ac" I said but she stopped me again.

"But then I'll start feeling hot" she said in deep thought.

"So babygirl, what can we do now? " I asked her.

"There's only one option. Give me your jacket please... pretty please" she said with puppy eyes.

"Your mood swings have started already" I chuckled and removed my jacket, handing it over to her.

"This is so comfortable. I think I might sleep until we reach home. Good night" she said and closed her eyes.

"Sleep well" I said and kissed her forehead.

"Now let's focus on the driving... The most important thing right now" I thought remembering the dream.

"Wake up Avneet. We're home" I said as soon as we reached home.

"No please" she said snuggling into her, I mean my jacket.

"Avu, please. If it wasn't for Dadi, then I would've surely taken you to the room myself. But I can't" I said

"Siddharth I don't even have the energy to get up anymore. Leave me in the car, I'll come home tomorrow morning" she said in her sleepy voice.

"Avneet please, you know I can't do that" I pleaded.

"Siddharth yaar! I said I can't even walk! My legs hurt so much. Can't you lift me up? " She said irritated.

"Okay relax. Come" I said lifting her up.

I just hope Dadi doesn't see us.

As soon as I walked in...... shit!

Everyone was having dinner together and were shocked to see us like this.

"Siddharth! What the hell is going on?!" Dadi asked getting up from her chair and simultaneously everyone stood up.
