Please do vote and comment, Lately I haven't been getting much response from your side. Every time it's the same "Please update soon" nothing else. This is very disappointing and demotivating for a writer.

Siddharth's POV

After we decided to visit a doctor, we descended the stairs quietly so that no one pays attention to us.

"Where are all of you off to?" Dadiji asked and we stopped dead in our tracks.

"Um...yeah, we are going for some shopping" I said.

"All four of you?" She asked raising an eyebrow towards Avneet.

"Yeah. Actually Avneet is my best friend, so she is accompanying us" Vaishnavi Bhabhi covered up quickly and gave Avneet a side hug.

"Okay. Come back soon, I have some things to discuss" she said looking towards me.

Seems like she didn't forget about the topic yet....

Hurriedly, we all rushed out of the mansion and drived out in my car.

"Siddharth.....what if something goes wrong?" Avneet asked from the backseat.

"Stop worrying Avu, everything will be alright" I assured her.

"Abhi-" Vaishnavi Bhabhi began but Bhai cut her off.

"Vaishu, how many times do I have to tell you? Everything will be fine baby" He said looking at her from the front mirror.

Soon, we reached the doctor's clinic.

"Who is the doctor? Do you know him Sid?" Bhabhi asked me.

"Yeah, she is my childhood friend Sanyukta" I informed.

"That Sanyukta Singhania?" Bhai asked.

"Yeah the same" I replied.

We didn't have to wait at all as I informed the receptionist that I was her friend.

I entered the room, with all of them following me. Sanyukta was sitting at her desk.

"Hii Sammy!" I greeted her and she immediately pulled me in a hug.

From the corner of my eye, I saw Avneet narrowing her eyes.

Umm...

"Siddharthhhh! Omg how are you?" she asked.

"I'm fine Sam. What about you?" I asked.

"Now that you're here, ofcourse I'll be fine!" She said grinning.

Avneet's POV

"Now that you are here, ofcourse I'll be fine!" She said grinning and Sid smiled back.

What the fuck is going on here?

"What brings you here?" She asked finally.

"So, this is Abhi Bhai, I guess you've met him. And she is my soon to be sister in law, Vaishnavi Rao." he introduced.

"Ohh yeah! I remember Abhi. And nice to meet you, soon to be Mrs. Nigam!" She greeted them with a hug.

"And this is my girlfriend, Avneet Sharma" he introduced me, and I swear I saw her jaw drop to the floor.

"Hello" I greeted her smiling but I was smirking mentally.

"Hello Ms. Sharma. Nice to you meet you" she replied after regaining her composure.

"Please have a seat all of you" she said and we sat down.

"So.....?" She asked indicating to the real reason for our visit.

"Ohh! So, these two ladies here, are pregnant. And we are here for some tests" Bhai explained.

"Wow Sid! I remember you saying that you were least interested in kids. Changed your mind huh?" She asked smirking at me.

She is her childhood friend right? So how come they've talked about kids and stuff? What am I missing?

"Yeah...things change" he replied sheepishly.

"Sure they do. Now, who's going first?" She asked.

"Vaishnavi Di, you take the lead" I said and she blushed.

Soon we were settled in another room and Di had changed into a lose hospital cloth.

"Now, I will need you to lift up your shirt a bit so I can proceed with the ultra sound. And mind my words, it's gonna be cold" she warned.

She did as told and next, Sanyukta was moving the wand over her lower abdomen area.

"Abhi" she said worriedly and Bhai clutched her hand tightly.

"Don't worry. I'm right here" he said squeezing her shoulders.

"So, right here, is the baby. It's the size of a peanut now.... and wait what??" She exclaimed and I clutched Sid's hand in worry.

"What Sammy?" Sid asked her immediately.

"Actually, it seems... Yeah I'm right. Abhi and Vaishnavi, you're expecting twins. Congratulations you two" she completed happily.

"Omg!! I'm so happy Di!" I hugged her.

"Vaishnavi..." Bhai said and both of them had tears in their eyes.

"I'm so happy baby! You don't know how much this means to me" he said hugging her and she hugged him back tightly.

Aww!

"And according to me, you are six weeks, that is one and a half months along" she informed.

"Everything is fine right?" Di asked and she smiled.

"So far, everything looks good. I'll tell you the rest of the things after Ms. Sharma gets checked up. So I don't have to repeat the same thing again" she said chuckling.

Right after, I got changed as well and slowly, I could feel the nervousness creeping in.

When she applied the gel, I shivered slightly and looked over at Siddharth.

"I'm right here babygirl" he said softly and kissed my palm.

"Right here, is your baby. The size of a peanut as I said before. And you're one month along" she said smiling and I looked over at Sid, to find him already looking at me with tears in his eyes.

"We're going to be parents" he whispered and I nodded grinning.

"Can we get a picture?" He asked and Bhai gasped.

"Ohh shit! I forgot to ask!" He said disappointed.

"Don't worry. It can get overwhelming at times. I've already taken a picture for you" she said and he breathed in relief.

"So, everything is going well right?" Siddharth asked and she looked at me with concern.

"Well, let's get seated. I'll like to talk about something" she said and I skipping a heartbeat.

Ohh no!

"What's wrong Sanyukta?" He asked as soon as we were seated.

"The problem is, Avneet's pregnancy has some complications" she said.

"What complications?" Di asked immediately.

"She has a weak womb. So there are chances of miscarriage in the first three to four months" she explained and my heart broke into a million pieces but I tried not to cry.

"Isn't there something we can do about it?" Sid asked desperately.

"Yeah! There are a few things" she said and I swear to God I hardly controlled myself from throwing the glass at her face.

Bitch couldn't say this earlier!

"What is it?" Bhai asked.

"I need all of you to listen carefully. As Vaishnavi is expecting twins, these things are essentially important in her case too" she began.

"First of all, food. Which means nutrition. You need to understand that you are not eating for one now. And that doesn't mean you're supposed to eat too much. As much as your body allows. Nutritional food is a must. Vaishnavi, as you are expecting twins and Avneet, due to your complications. Keep this in mind. I'll be giving you a chart for help." She said.

"Secondly, work. No lifting weights. Not at all! Walking around and doing easy stuff is good. But don't overwork. Your body needs extra rest from now on. Avneet, especially you" she explained.

"Most importantly, no stress. Stress is bad and can be dangerous. Be happy. You guys have to make sure of that" she said looking at Bhai and Sid and they nodded.

"That's all for now. You can visit me later again so that I can keep check on you guys. Any query? Just call me." She finished and we got up.

"Thanks Sam! I am so grateful for your help" Sid said hugging her goodbye.

"Anything for you" she replied.

"Who exactly was she?" I asked once we were back in the car.

"I told you Avu, she is my childhood friend" Sid said from the front seat.

"Shut up! I'm not asking you. Bhai, you tell me" I asked again.

"Umm....his ex" he replied and I was shocked.

"Excuse me? Ex? How many girls has he dated behind my back?' I asked.

"A few...not much" Bhai replied chuckling nervously.

"A few? Wow! And here I was acting loyal for all these years. For God's sake, I haven't even touched a guy since that day!" I exclaimed disappointed.

"Avneet.... I was just messing around" he said in defense.

"Whatever" I scoffed.

"Okay guys calm down! Not now. Firstly, we have to get this morning sickness medicine that she prescribed. Sid, go and get them" Bhai ordered and he got out.

"Avneet, you have to understand. I won't say he wasn't wrong but you need to forgive him. He was a mess at the time. I swear he wasn't emotionally attached to anyone" Di said.

"It's okay, I understand" I said calming down.

"Here's the medicine." Sid said after coming back.

"Now let's go to this restaurant. They serve fresh and healthy food there" Bhai said.

"Avneet, I'm sorry" Sid apologized again

"It's okay" I said finally giving in.

"I love you" he said pulling me in a hug.

"I love you too" I whispered back.

"Don't whisper or I won't be able to control" he said darkly.

"Huh? Control what?" I asked confused.

"Oh my innocent Avu... I'll show you when we get back home. There are people in this car" he said closing his eyes and I immediately looked away when I realized what he was talking about.

"Hush guys! Don't forget we are here too" Di said hitting Sid lightly.

Soon, we were all settled down in the restaurant chairs and we placed our order which arrived shortly.

"So..... What are we going to do now?" Di asked while eating.

"What do you mean?" Bhai asked.

"I mean how do we tell people about our pregnancies? And what about Roshni?" Di said as a matter of fact.

Shit

"I don't think Dadi will be happy after hearing the news... I mean.... She will be outraged!!" Sid exclaimed scared.

"We will tell them after the marriage then" I suggested.

"Hmm... That seems the only good option in this situation" Bhai replied.

Just then, Sid's phone rang.

"Hello" he said.

"Excuse me what?" He exclaimed dropping the spoon.

"Can you hand over the phone to Roshni?" He said in a calmer tone this time.

"Roshni... For God's sake, come to the address I'm sending you right now." He said hardly containing his anger.

"No fucking questions Rosh! Just do as I say" he yelled over the phone.

What the hell happened now?

"Everybody has taken an oath to make my life a mess!" He said banging his fist on the table.

"Siddharth...what happened" I asked slowly as to not anger him more.

"Avneet come here" he said softly pulling me close to him.

"What's wrong?" I asked again.

"Umm.... Roshni informed Dadi about the proposal....and now..she....she fixed our marriage" he said hesitantly.

"What the actual fuck!" I cursed out and moved away from him.

"Listen Avneet..." He tried saying but I started crying.

"Avu..stop crying" Di said pulling me in a hug.

"Avu....baby I'll sort everything out. Please don't cry. Come here" he said but I didn't move.

"Okay let's move inside the car." Abhi Bhai said and pulled me with him.

"This asshole makes you cry all the time" Bhai said glaring at him once we were seated.

"Bhai please... I'm trying to stop her from crying and you..." Sid whined.

Not much later, Roshni arrived and Sid pulled her inside the car.

"What the fuck were you thinking?" He yelled and she was shocked.

"Siddharth? Why are you yelling at me?" She retorted.

"Why I am yelling at you?" He repeated her question and glared at her.

"Calm down you asshole" I yelled from the backseat and he punched the side of the door.

"Roshni... Why did you talk about our marriage in front of Dadiji?" He asked calmly.

"Because... because I thought that's what you want" she replied softly and searched his eyes for some reaction.

"Roshni.. I need to tell you something.... I don't love you.. I love you but just as a friend. The reason I accepted your proposal was because I couldn't see you getting insulted in front of all those people. Rosh... I love Avneet... I have always loved her... And moreover, she's pregnant with my baby" he said and I gasped.

He just told her everything within a flow... He didn't even warn her... How will she react....
