Siddharth's POV

I tried to talk to her but.... Things went downhill.

Why can't she fuckin listen to me once? Damn it!

I was sitting on my bed, thinking about the future.

Abhi Bhai and Vaishnavi Bhabhi are getting married in two weeks. Roshni is pressurizing me for marriage. No matter what, I'm certainly not marrying her. But, once the wedding is done, Avneet will leave..... Its alright. If she is happy with Rishabh, then so it be. I'm not gonna dive between them.

Just then I heard a knock on the door. Who is it again?

"Sid, I'm coming in"

"Bhabhi..... What are you doing here? If you needed something you should've called me" I said standing up.

She didn't reply and sat on the corner of the bed.

"I want to talk to you Siddharth Nigam" she said with a serious face.

"I guess it's about Avneet then?" I said non chalantly and sat down sighing.

"Yes it is. Why don't you reunite with her?" She shot the question directly.

"Bhabhi..... " I tried to find words.

"No Sid! I know you love her. Then why can't you just talk to her about it? Why can't you tell Roshni that you are not marrying her?! Tell me Siddharth!" she said losing her calm.

A/n : Don't dare skipping this! Imma kill you if you did.....

"I went to talk to her. She didn't even listen to me for God's sake! Everyone fucking here thinks it's MY fault! I know it is! But just think about it for once. All I ever wanted to do was deny Roshni in a calm and good way. You know what happened to her in the past. You don't have any idea what I went through when I saw her in that state. Believe me! Nobody wants to see that and she went through that!
She is my friend. All I wanted to do was help her. I explained everything to Avneet. I told her how important she (Avu) was, is for me. I told her what Roshni went through. I told her I was going to tell her the truth after the wedding. I thought she would understand that I agreed to the proposal just for her dignity.... I was wrong. I expected too much. I hurt her but she hurt me too. I'm ready to apologise and make her mine even if it means I have to beg on my knees. But not like this Bhabhi. Not when she is not ready to listen to me. I can't." I said exploding.

"Sid-" she said

"No Bhabhi please" I said wiping a tear which fell unknowingly.

She didn't say anything and left the room. From the corner of my eyes, I could see the tear that slipped from her eye.

I'm sorry Bhabhi......

Avneet's POV

Spending the entire afternoon thinking about Sid, it was finally time for us to leave. To go back to Mumbai.

I decided to put on something short and comfortable for the flight because I won't be able to wear such clothes later.

*Sighs*

"Everyone ready?" Bhai asked as soon as everyone gathered in the hall.

From the corner of my eyes, I saw Ramu Kaka wiping his tears.

"Kaka, don't worry... we'll be back here. I promise" Bhai said consoling him.

"Okay, but don't forget to bring the new member along with you. Raat ke andhere mein....." He said smiling and Bhai smiled back.

How did he know??

"Ready!" We all chorused.

Suddenly Bhai turned towards me, grabbed my hand and snatched the suitcase from me.

"You won't be carrying such stuff from now on" he whispered in my ears and I rolled my eyes.

If he is so protective now, I can't even imagine about the next nine months.

We sat down in the car but Rishabh stayed out.

"Rishi, come inside! Why are you standing out?" I asked him.

"Yeah Rishabh. Step in, we are late already" Reem said with urgency in her voice.

"Actually I won't be coming with you guys" Rishabh said scratching the back of his neck.

"What? Rishabh! This is not the time to be kidding. We'll be late for our flight" I said frowning.

"I'm not kidding Avu. I was here in Manali due to some work but it got delayed as I decided to join you guys. I have to complete my work here" He explained.

"But what about the wedding?" Vaishnavi Di asked pouting.

"I'll be there when the functions start" he smiled.

We said our goodbyes but I was not willing to leave him.

"Please come with us Rishiiii" I said with puppy eyes.

"Avu...baby I can't" he said caressing my hair.

"So maybe I can stay with you here? " I asked hopefully.

"But Avneet how?" Jannat asked hesitantly.

"I'll stay with him and we'll both come there when the functions start" I said.

"No" I heard Sid's voice.

"Huh?" I asked not understanding

"I said no. We gave your company the contract for this wedding. And we will need your assistance for that. You're coming with us" He replied with an expressionless face.

I don't know why but I started crying.

"Sshh..... Why are you crying Avu" Rishabh looked at me and embraced me immediately.

Siddharth snapped his neck towards me, shocked to see me crying.

"Siddharth calm down okay?" Di said.

"Avneet, darling I'll be back in a few days okay? Stop crying. I'll bring you a surprise gift when I come back" he said trying to stop my crying.

"Promise?" I asked sniffing.

"Pakka promise" he said kissing my forehead.

"I'll miss you so so so much. Come back soon" I said finally letting him go.

"Vaishnavi Di and Abhishek Bhai please take care of her" he requested.

"Of course!" Bhai said and we left.

I leaned on to Jannat's shoulder and tried to control my tears.

I'm gonna miss him so much...

Siddharth's POV

I was extremely pissed off when he was getting so touchy with Avneet.

Then suddenly she started crying.

Shit! I made her cry again....

Soon we reached the airport and I saw Avneet sleeping on Jannat's shoulder.

I mentally smiled at how adorable she looked.

"Come on Avneet wake up" I said as I was sitting next to her.

She stirred a bit in sleep but didn't wake up.

"Come on wakey wakey" I said gently shaking her.

"Sid.. wassup?" Jannat asked winking.

"Janu.. you are not angry on me?" I asked surprised.

"Naah! Although I won't deny that you did some really bad things in the spam of these few days. I know you had your own valid reasons and you're gonna make everything better gradually. You love my Avneetay" she said smiling.

"That means a lot Jaan" I said gratefully.

"What's going on?" Avneet asked groggily, in her sleepy voice.

I quickly straightened myself and moved away from her.

"We're here" I said with a stoic expression.

"Huh? Oh I must have slept throughout the journey" she said rubbing her eyes.

She looks too cute to be real.....

Vaishnavi's POV

As we reached the airport, I saw Siddharth and Avneet sharing a moment together.

All I wanted was for them to be happy.  Them to be together.

What about you Vaishnavi? I thought to myself.

Sighing, I made my way to my seat. More like my own private cabin only to find Abhishek there

"I'll switch the seat with someone else" I quickly muttered.

"No please sit Vaishu" he said with a pleading look and I reluctantly agreed to him.

We sat there in silence, as the plane took off.

"Listen Vaishnavi I'm sorry........ but what I said was not wrong" he said breaking the silence.

I was so ecstatic when I heard the sorry word. I thought he really was sorry but his next words broke my heart.

What's the point of saying sorry when you don't even mean it?

"If that's what you think, keep your sorry to yourself" I said in a low voice not wanting to disturb others although it was business class and we had a private cabin to ourselves.

"Why can't you understand?" He said tiredly.

The point is, we had a fight today. He thinks it's completely Sid's fault and when I tried to reason that Siddharth was hurt too and somewhere it was Avneet's fault as well. He burst out on me and said I was being partial and irrelevant, even though he was the one acting like that.

"Abhi, this time you're wrong" I said calmly, trying to converse and sort out  the problem.

"Oh well! I am the one who is always wrong!" He snapped rudely.

"I never said that Abhi. You need to calm down and we can sort this out like mature adults" I said maintaining my calm.

"Well look who's talking about acting mature. Why do you think you are always right Vaishnavi? Why is it that you're always imposing your opinions on me? Not just today but that day as well. You insisted me not to sign the show and for what? The story was inappropriate. Was the story inappropriate or were you insecure that I was getting a better show than you?" He said and I looked at him shocked.

"Vaishnavi I thought you were better than that..... I was always happy for you and I will be happy for you! Even when you had shows and I didn't" he said, hurt visible in his eyes.

But the hurt in my heart was way more intense than his.

Without any further word, I left the seat and rushed to the washroom.

Is that all he thinks about me? That I'm jealous of his success? The reason why I insisted him to deny the show was because it is controversial! It felt  inappropriate! I knew he would get immense hate for that, and so I advised him to accept other projects and deny that one.

Was I wrong to think about my soon to be husband's well-being, his reputation?

I cried my heart out in the washroom.  I looked at the mirror to see my pathetic face.

The soon to be bride's face......

I can't believe I'm getting married in two weeks.

Is it worth it? My subconscious mind asked me.

Well duh, of course it is.

A single misunderstanding can't break us. I know he's been through a lot and he didn't really mean it. I'm sure he's gonna realize his mistake and will  come back to apologize soon.

And if he doesn't....... I can easily kick him on his family jewels. I smirked at the picture that popped up in my mind.....

You are such an unbothered queen Vaish.... I patted my back proudly.

Avneet's POV

I was peacefully sitting on my seat, with Sid and Bhavesh next to me.

Siddharth was busy with his laptop and Bhavesh was playing videogames.

What should I do for entertainment now?

I sat up straight and started peeking in Sid's laptop. He was checking some emails.

Ohh my future workaholic husband.

Shitt! What did I just think? Mann I'm crazy!

Suddenly I found Sid staring at me and that's when I realized that I was blushing hard.

"Is something wrong Avneet?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

"No" I said shaking my head in denial.

I kept stealing glances at him as he resumed his work. Out of nowhere he removed a protein bar from his bag and my mouth watered at the sight.

"Do you want something Avu?" He asked again.

Oh my goshh! He called me 'Avu' after so long.....

"Ohh yeah here take this" he said handing me the chocolate.

"Why? I mean I don't want it" I said acting.

"You didn't eat your breakfast properly and you threw up that too I guess" he said and kept the protein bar in my hand

I didn't refuse and started munching on it slowly and I could hardly control myself from moaning at the taste.

You don't say no to food for the second time! What if they don't ask again?
