Avneet's POV

Something is really really wrong with Siddharth! How could he even punch Rishi?

For now, we were sitting in the car, and I was putting pressure on the wound of Rishi's face to stop the flow of blood.

"Rishi..are you okay? Does it hurt a lot?" Reem asked fanning him with her dupatta.

"Don't worry Reem, I'm alright" hesaid wincing at the last part.

"Stop the car now" Abhi Bhai said to the driver.

"There's a clinic over here, I, Vaishu and Avneet will take Rishi there. By that time, you guys wait at the restaurant we decided" Abhi Bhai said.

"Let's go Rishi" I said helping him up.

"Can I come along?" Sid asked peeking out of the car.

"No Siddharth Nigam! You stay there" Bhai replied sternly.

The doctor was dressing his wounds and the rest of us were waiting in the lounge area.

"Avneet, tell me the truth. Why did Sid punch him?" Di asked me.

"To be honest I don't know!" I said frustrated.

"Accha, tell me what happened?" Bhai asked softly.

"So, we were waiting in that area and suddenly I started feeling dizzy, so Rishi caught me before I could fall to the ground. He kept on holding me tightly. He asked me to consult with a doctor. I refused and then out of nowhere, Sid threw a punch at him" I explained.

"Okayyyy.....I see what might've happened now. Maybe, he thought that Rishi was holding you without consent and when you said no, he thought you were saying no to him. But in reality you were saying no for going to a doctor" Bhai said after thinking for a moment.

"Shitt" I muttered under my breathe.

"Sid is too possessive about you" Di said dramatically.

"I can understand his possessiveness, but what about me? Doesn't he realize how much it hurts me to see him with Roshni! Bhai, I love him! But how long do I have to wait more? I'm tired Bhai! I feel like I'm losing him day by day" I said tearing up a little.

"Shh Avneetay! I will put some sense into Siddharth!" Bhai said hugging me.

"Wait.....did you say you were feeling dizzy?" Vaishu Di asked narrowing jer eyes.

"Yes I was" I answered innocently.

"And you have been throwing up lately?" She asked narrowing her eyes even more.

"Yes I've been" I replied in the same tone.

Her eyes widened and she covered her mouth as a gasp escaped.

"Abhiii!! We are going to be Bade Papa and Badi Mummy!!!" She said hugging him tightly.

"Wait wait wait" I said trying to process what she said.

She is talking about becoming an aunt....

That means....

"Shit Di! What the hell! Don't say anything rubbish" I said hitting her slightly.

"No Avneet! Baby listen. I know it's too much for you, but answer my questions" she said calming me down.

"Have you and Sid, consummated?" She asked and I widened my eyes.

"Avu, answer her question" Bhai nudged.

I simply nodded my head looking down to hide my blushing.

"Did he use protection or did you take pills?" She asked and it stuck me.

He didn't use 'anything' that day......

And there's no chance of pills because I didn't even think about it.......

Could it be....

Just thinking about it, a tear fell down from my eye.

"Avneet why are you crying" Di asked puzzled.

"What if.......what if I am pregnant? Will Siddharth accept it? What if he didn't? How will Vibha Mom react? I don't even have a job here! I..I live in Phoenix Arizona! I don't even have a house here... What will all of his relatives think?" I started baffling things.

"Avneet.......Avneet! Do I have to slap you like Sid did, to stop you?" Di asked smirking.

I immediately smiled remembering that moment in the store room.

"Keep smiling like this" Di said kissing my forehead.

"And! Siddharth will accept the child! No matter what! And if he doesn't, we are here with you! We'll make sure everything is alright" Bhai said patting my back

I gave him a unsure look.

"Oh come on Avneet! Don't you trust the matchmakers and the super couple Abhinavi?"He said raising his eyebrow.

"Of course I do!" I said smiling.

"Okay, Now come on!  We'll quickly go to the gynacoelogist ward and get a report" Di said dragging me and Bhai inside.

"The symptoms match with pregnancy, so there is 60% chance that you might be pregnant Ms. Sharma" the doctor said after reviewing my condition.

"No doctor, I can't be pregnant. Actually I had my period a few days back" I said remembering that.

"That can be spotting too. It usually happens in pregnancy and people mistake it for periods. Did you experience heavy bleeding? If yes, then it shouldn't be spotting" The doctor cleared.

"Yeah. Comparatively it was very less" I said fiddling with my fingers.

I looked nervously to Bhai and Di and they gave me an assuring look.

"But, just to make sure, we have taken your blood sample. The test report comes tomorrow morning. Would you like it to be delivered at your house?" She asked.

"No!" The three of us said together.

"Okay okay! So I'll keep it ready, one of you can come and take it. Just in case you're preggo, you need to take care of yourself. No alcohol! No stressing and no overworking" She said and we departed.

"Don't worry. I'll get the reports tomorrow morning" Bhai said.

Just then, Rishi came running towards us.

"Where were you guys? I searched for you so long!" He said panting.

"Oh! A doctor over here is Vaishnavi's friend. So we thought about meeting her" Bhai lied.

"Oh okay" Rishi said.

We met up with the rest of the group at the restaurant.

"Come on, let's order now" Anu and Ash screamed

One by one, everyone gave their orders and lastly it was my turn. To be honest I had lost all my appetite. I was so worried about the result that I couldn't even imagine swallowing a morsel of food.

"Avneet, order" Jannat said confused.

"Umm, I don't feel hungry now" I said making an excuse.

"Avneet" Bhai said narrowing his eyes.

"I'll just wait for you guys in the garden" I said and walked out.

I was sitting on the bench of the garden which was at the front of the restaurant when I felt someone settling beside me.

"Avneet" I heard.

I looked up to find Sid standing.

"You finished your lunch?" I asked quickly.

"No, I didn't feel hungry as well" He said and sat down.

"Sid please" I said but he didn't listen to me.

He pulled me in his lap. With one arm wrapped around my waist, he started massaging my forehead.

We sat there in silence and it felt peaceful after so long.

Just then I saw a bunch of little kids playing. I got an idea!

"Siddharth, look at those kids" I said pointing to them.

"Yes, what about them?" He said not looking interested.

"Aren't they cute?" I asked hopefully.

"Hm they are" he said unbothered.

Shit! This man! Now I will have to directly jump into the topic.

"Sid.....have you thought about having kids?" I asked crossing my fingers.

Please God! Let him say Yes.

"No. Why are you asking" He asked confused and my heart broke...

"I mean, someday I would love to have kids. But not now, like you know. Having kids means responsibility, you can't focus on your career completely. And right now, my main focus is my career. I don't want any distraction." He said thinking deeply.

I nodded and flashed a fake smile.

"But why are you so interested in kids all of a sudden?" He asked eyeing me suspiciously.

"Um..yeah! I saw these kids and I thought about it. Nothing else" I said suppressing my sadness.

"Come on, now let's eat something." He said and I followed him reluctantly.

I ate my food in silence.

What will I do if the results come out positive?

Siddharth's POV

Avneet has been acting weird lately. There is something that she has been hiding from me. Well, sooner or later I will find it out.

After resting for a while, we changed our outfits and departed for the club.

In the car, I noticed Bhai and Bhabhi along with Avneet, murmuring something. This means they know something too.

It seems I am the only one left out.

"Is there something you want to tell me?" I asked eyeing Bhai.

"Um..nope! Absolutely not!" The three of them said in unison.

"Amusing! I asked the question to Bhai, but the three of you answered" I said smiling sarcastically.

At the Club

We reached the club and ordered our drinks to start with.

Just then I noticed Avneet was not holding any drink in her hand.

"Avneet? Why aren't you drinking anything?" I asked her.

"I don't feel like" she answered nervously.

"Oh come on! Don't be a spoil spot!" I said taking my glass near her lips.

"Take a sip! Take a sip Avneet" I said forcing her a bit.

Before she could do anything, Vaishnavi Bhabhi snatched the glass from my hands.

"Enough! If she said doesn't want to drink, then don't force her" She said angrily.

"Woah! Calm down Bhabhi" I said surrendering.

What's wrong with her? She never behaves in this manner with me

The music started and Sumedh asked for Roshni's hand for dancing.

She loooked at me questioningly and I smiled nodding at her.

Anu asked Rishi for a dance and unfortunately he said yes!

Jannat and Faisal danced intimately and I smirked.

I went near Avneet and asked her for a dance. She smiled brightly and took that as a yes.

I immediately wrapped my hands around her waist and we started grooving to the music.

"Avneet...what are you not telling me?" I whispered huskily in her ears and she shivered.

"No.. nothing Sid" she said smiling.

"Oh really?" I smirked and pulled her close and she clutched my shoulders for support.

"Yes..Sid! If it's something you need to know, I would have told you" she said holding her breath.

I moved closer to her lips and swiftly caught them and kissed her passionately. To say she was shocked would be an understatement. Anyways she kissed back even more passionately when she regained her composure.

"Siddharth" she moaned my name softly.

"I love you" she continued.

Before I could say it back to her somebody pulled me back.

It was Rishabh.

"What the fuc-" I said but he covered my mouth.

"Shut up! Roshni's coming here!" He whispered and I moved away from Avneet.

She came near me and held my hand. Suddenly she bent down to one knee.

Shitt! It shouldn't be what I am thinking it is.

"I met Siddharth, five years ago. I met him at a time when I was broken. He was the one who mended me, who mended my broken soul. Without him, I don't think I would have survived. I love You Sid. I want to spend every second of the rest of my life with you. Siddharth Nigam, will you marry me?" She said the last part breathing heavily.

Shittttttttttttt!!!

I am fucked upppp!!!!

Everyone in the club was watching me and waiting for my answer.
