Avneet's POV

As soon as I opened my eyes, sunrays clouded my vision and I averted my gaze. I saw Vaishu Di and Bhai cuddling together.

Jannat was fast asleep in Faisu's arms, with her head on his chest. Although Faisu was awake, he kept staring lovingly at her face and wrapped his arms around her protectively.

I smiled seeing these two beautiful couples. Since the beginning I knew that Vaishu Di and Bhai were made for each other. Yeah, I certainly didn't had any idea about my best friend's love.....until now. I'm so glad she found someone who loves her truly and genuinely. How do I know? Well.....I could see that in Faisu's eyes, the way he is staring at her while she is asleep, clearly shows his love.

And then I looked over at Sid......well.

He was leaning his head on Roshni's shoulder while sleeping.

You guys are wondering if I am alright, right?

No need to worry. I AM alright. It's just that I've seen this scene so many times before, that now I am used to it.

I broke out of my thoughts when I heard Rishi's voice.

"Come on you don't need to worry! I'll get your bag here, real quick" he said ruffling Anu's hairs.

"What's up?" I asked in my sleepy voice.

"You're awake?" He said softly and gave me a feathery kiss on my forehead.

And suddenly all of my worries vanished. This is what happens, when I'm with Rishi and Jannat. Both of them are my painkillers.

"That I am. What did Anu want?" I asked as I pulled Anu for a hug.

"Apparently she got her periods now. So I am just going to get her bag from the room now." He said as he stood up to leave.

"No it's alright. I'll get you everything Anu" I said looking at both of them simultaneously.

I closely observed Anu and I could see that she was completely worn out even though it was still early morning.

That's one thing I observed about her. She struggles a lot with her periods. My poor baby!

"No Avneet. It's alright, I'll be back" he said leaving no choice.

"So...Anu, what's up?" I asked trying to lift up her spirits.

"I just woke up and realized I had blood on my pyjamas. So I kinda freaked out but Rishabh Bhaiya was awake and he appraoched me and asked if was okay. I thought it would be embarrassing to tell him but he reacted pretty good. Like a normal person would. As I had stained my pants I was afraid to walk to my room so he asked me to stay here and told me he would get me a change of clothes and my emergency bag from the room, so that I can get fresh here in the bathroom." She said lighting up.

Afterall, Rishabh is a perfect gentleman.

He came back with almost everything she needed and Anu went ahead in the living room's main bathroom.

Now, everyone had woken up.

"Everyone wide awake?" Ash asked in her cute morning voice.

"Yes!" Everyone chorused.

"Where's Anu?" Reem asked.

The three sisters can't stand a minute without each other!

"Here" Anu said skipping out of the bathroom happily.

"You were never an early riser" Sid said raising an eyebrow

"Um...yeah" she chuckled nervously.

She then came near me and Rishi and surprisingly gave him a 'thank you' kiss on his cheek.

"What's that for?" Sid and Bhavesh asked simultaneously.

"Nothing much! You two lazy asses keep sleeping, !" she snapped and moved towards the kitchen

Ahh girl I understand you.

"I am going to the kitchen. Ash, you want something?" I asked.

"I don't feel like eating." She said sadly.

Ohh.... when one sibling is mad then the other one gets mad too.

"You need to have something darling!" I said trying to persuade her.

"Um..no" she said.

"So...how about I make you some chocolate milkshake?" Rishi asked.

"Uhh...okay" she agreed.

"Rishi you stay here. I'll get her milkshake and your favorite coffee" I said.

"That would be just amazing" he said smiling back.

At the dining table

We were having breakfast when Ramu Kaka arrived.

"Did something happen last night? I thought I heard some noise. Raat ke andhere mein......" he said with a lantern in his hand as usual.

This man, I tell you!

"Something? A lot of things happened Ramu Kaka!" Sumedh said still scared.

Then we proceeded to tell him everything and then he started laughing hysterically.....like those "witches" in horror shows.

"I'll tell you what exactly happened! That doll, I brought it for my grand daughter. I was planning to give it to her when I go home. Raat ke andhere mein......." he started.

"But, the doll was literally smiling as Bhai told" Reem said.

"Yeah! That's one of the features of the toy, Durga Mata. Raat ke andhere mein....." he said smiling.

"But when we were setting up the doll, it never smiled or blinked but when the boys arrived, it did." Jannat asked confused.

"That's because the doll is defective piece. You need to hit or pat it once to start the features. Raat ke andhere mein....." He explained.

Ohh..The doll must have fallen on the bed and the features might have been enabled.

"But then, what about the blood? We never set something up like that!" asked Bhavesh.

"Ugghh! You guys...." He said rather unhappily.

"That was red paint that I had kept on the shelves. I needed to colour the watering can with it. Raat ke andhere mein....." He completed.

"Ohh Fuck! What a blunder!" Anu groaned.

"Language!" Sid said sternly.

She just looked away, ignoring him.

Siddharth's POV

Seriously! What the fuck is wrong with this day!

I wake up to see my sister giving a cheek kiss to that total stranger Rishabh. And then he goes on to coax my little sister Ash too.

I have to do something with him!

After breakfast we all certainly calmed down due to the explanation given by Ramu Kaka.

According to our plan, we are going to a temple today in the morning. Then we'll go shopping for some souvenirs and then at night we'll go to club.

We all sat down in our respective cars and drove off.

"Let's go inside" Bhai said as soon as we reached the temple.

"Umm...you guys go. I'll be here outside. And Anu! Would you like to stay here with me?" Avneet said looking expectantly at Anushka.

"Ohh! Yeah sure. Yeah! I would like to wait here with Avneet Di" she said immediately.

What's wrong with these ladies?

"Okay...then the rest of us will proceed" Faisu said and we agreed.

Just then Rishabh's phone rang and he excused himself.

Douchebag! I really doubt that was an excuse for staying here with Avneet and Anu.

Anyways, after climbing all those tiring stairs we reached the top and prayed for the well being of our family and that the wedding goes on smoothly and happily. Additionally, I also prayed for me and Avneet to be together in a way that won't hurt Roshni.

As mom had said, we organized a food service for all the devotees that were present at the moment.

It had been a long time since we came, so I decided to check up on Anu and Avu.

I descended down the stairs to look for them, when I heard some voice from behind the pillars.

"Avneet please! Try to understand!" Rishabh said rather angrily.

He was holding Avneet and by the looks of it, she was not trying to get out of his arms too.

As much I wanted to smash his face through the pillar, I decided to wait. I decided to wait and watch everything.

"No Rishi. I told you it's alright. Let me go now" I heard Avneet say.

That's it! If she says no, then it means you have to obey. No matter who you are.

I went ahead and grabbed him by his collar and punched him roght across his face! I had enough of this bastard!

"What the hell Siddharth! Leave him" Avneet said prying me away from him.

"I won't" I replied not looking at her.

"FUCKIN SIDDHARTH NIGAM! ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME? LEAVE HIM!" She yelled at the top of her voice.

I let go of him reluctantly and turned towards Avneet.

"Shit Sid! Look what you did! For God's sake he is bleeding!" She said holding his face in her hands.

I could barely control myself from punching him again.

"What were you guys doing here? And why in the fuckin hell was he holding you so close!" I yelled at her.

Probably I'll regret it later but I can't control myself. No one takes what's mine.

"Siddharth you're misunderstanding" she said softly and I just scoffed.

"What? You don't... You don't believe me? Okay fine! I don't even think I should explain anything to you! I..I don't owe you an explanation Mr. Nigam!" She said breathing harshly.

I was about to say something when the others arrived

"What the hell is going on here?" Roshni asked looking at us.

"Yeah! And what happened to your face Rishabh?" Jannat asked worried.

"Sid-" Avneet tried to say but Rishabh cut her off in between.

"Oh this. I kind of lost balance and landed on my face. So you see.." He said smiling brightly.

Avneet just looked at him unbelievably.

"You should have been careful Rishabh" Bhabhi said wiping the blood of his face with her dupatta.

"Come in let's go. We need to have lunch somewhere and on the way there we will get your injury dresses" Bhai said helping him down the stairs.

Almost everybody left the scene and now only I and Avneet were left

I gave her this pained expression but she didn't even look at me and walked away.

Guess I messed up pretty bad.

Well..... I'll have to make up with Future Mrs. Nigam...
