Jannat's POV

I had an email yesterday which stated that we have a meeting today. So I got up early and saw that Avneet was yet sleeping. I went in the washroom and did all my morning rituals. I got out and saw that she was still sleeping. I just ignored her as I was in a mood to trouble her. After completely getting ready I woke her. She sat up on the bed with a grumpy face.

"Why did you wake me up this early? And why are you wearing clothes as if you are going out?" she asked.

"Cause Darling we have a meeting in 30 minutes" I said smirking.

"What the hell you bitch! Couldn't inform me earlier? I don't even have time to strangle you now" she said angrily and ran in the washroom to get ready.

She got ready in super fast record time. And quickly did her makeup and was about to grab her handbag when I broke out the half truth.

"Why are you taking your handbag? The meeting is in the hotel itself. We just have to go downstairs" I said controlling my laughter.

"You!!! I did everything quickly as I thought we have to travel somewhere! I am not gonna leave you once we return" She threatened.

Avneet's POV

As we were walking towards the table I saw him! And what's the best part you know? Even before I could start panicking, Jannat started panicking. Like seriously? I should be the one doing that.

"Oh my God!!! Avneetay! What is he doing here?? We can't go there...no no we can't go there!" She said hurriedly.

"Listen Janu calm down! Just calm down" I tried to calm her down but she started again.

"Let's go back! Right now!" She said again.

"Listen to me! You were the one who said that it's our job and nothing should come in between our personal and professional life" I tried reasoning.

Finally she calmed down.

"Yeah you are right. Sorry! I am really sorry I didn't want you to be hurt again so I just panicked." She said understandigly.

"Aww I love you! Come on lets go now and remember our motto, we ain't afraid cause we are brave!" I said to her encouragingly.

What I saw next broke all of my courage and my heart shattered into million pieces.....

Right beside him was her! He was so eager to start a new relationship... But still I have to be strong and I can't let him affect my life anymore.

We went and sat at the table. Abhi Bhai looked at me and just by the looks on his face I could tell how shocked he was. But 'he' was still busy with her and thus Bhai nudged him and brought both of them back to the reality. He looked at me for more than a minute and then..............................

"What the hell are you doing here!!!" He roared out of anger.

And even before I could reply my sweety Jannat burst out.

"Excuse me Mr. Nigam! Mind your tone! We are here for an official meeting with you and dare you insult her or raise your voice at her. Try to be as professional and as far as possible!" She said as loud and clear she could be.

And thus with this he shut his mouth up.

Oh my my! My girl's got the power to silence Mr. Nigam!

"Hey girl! Whoever you are! How dare you insult my boyfriend" Mr. Nigam's girlfriend spoke up pointing towards Jannat.

"Excuse me! What's your name? Ha! 'Mr Nigam's so called girlfriend' let me tell you I am not interested in talking to you or even listening to you a single percent!" Jannat replied savagely.

And here goes her mouth shut as well.

"Let's forget about the past and have this meeting peacefully" said Abhi Bhai.

Si..I mean Mr. Nigam tried to deny "But Bhai how can we-" but he was cut off by Bhai again.

"I am not requesting you I am ordering you! Understand?" Bhai said coldly and he nodded silently.

I began, "Good morning sir! We are glad that you gave our company "Happily Ever After" a chance to assist you."

"Avneet you can call me sir and all! But don't forget I am still and forever will be your Abhi Bhai" Bhai said with love in his eyes.

"Sir first you will have to tell us whose wedding do we have to plan?" Jannat asked politely.

"It's mine and Vaishu ,I mean Vaishnavi Rao's wedding" he said shyly.

Aww! I knew I knew it!! I knew that they would end up together! I wanted to squeal and jump and hug him tight but I had to behave professional.

Next I asked him a question "When is the wedding?"

"21st Feb" he replied.

"Okay so today is 13th of December! So there is.." Before I could end Mr. Nigam spoke up.

"2 months 7 days" he said looking into my eyes. If I would've been the same old Avneet I would've surely got lost and drowned in his hazel eyes but no! I am not the Avneet I was 7 years ago.
I quickly diverted my eyes and looked towards Bhai.

From the corner of my eyes I could see Miss Roshni, oh! I mean Miss I am Siddharth Nigam's girlfriend, looking at me with a burning gaze. I ignored her too and tried to focus on my work.

Keyword "tried".

"So the engagement is done?" Jannat asked him.

"No! I mean I proposed her in private so the engagement still has to be done" he answered blushing.

"Bhai! You don't have to reveal personal information to such 'unknown people'" Sid...No Mr. Nigam interrupted him.

Ouch! That 'unknown people' hurt.

Bhai just ignored him and kept on answering our questions. Hehe!

"All this is okay but I think both of you should come to our house and then Vaishu and I will be able to tell you about the destination and our expectations and demands" Bhai said.

"I don't think it's a good idea" Mr.Nigam interrupted again.

"Siddharth can you please behave!" He said fed up.

Siddharth's POV

What the hell is even happening today! First of all she has the audacity to come back in my life and now she is turning my brother against me?!! And that friend cum colleague of hers? She is so fuckin scary!! I have to be aware of what I say in front of her. Now Bhai is giving her an invitation to come to our house. She can't come in my life. I won't allow her to mess with my life again! I don't have a single cm's space for her in my life!

"Okay sir! As you wish. When do we have to come and the address?" She asked Bhai.

"Tomorrow will be fine and give me your number I'll message you the address" Bhai informed her.

"Okay so tomorrow it is" said her friend Jannat.

With this they got up and were about to leave when Bhai got up and hugged her. There was no need for that!

We too left later and arrived at our house 'Vibha Mansion'. Yeah it's named after our mother.

As soon as we entered Maa came and hugged both of us. After her Vaishu Di too came out of the kitchen and we all sat down in the living room.

"Di I didn't knew that you were going to come" I asked

"It was not planned. I just wanted to see Vibha Mom" she replied casually.

"Roshni, when did you come back from your Europe trip?" Maa asked Rosh.

"Aunty this morning itself! Actually it ended before the supposed time" she said sweetly.

"Why? Couldn't bear with the expenses?" Di asked her savagely.

I don't know what problem she and Bhai have with Rosh.

"Why do you keep on-" Rosh tried to snap back but Maa spoke in between "Calm down Roshni! Vishu Beta is just kidding"

"Oh no! It's not a problem" Rosh replied back.

"Accha leave all that! Tell me how did the meeting with the wedding planners go?"

"Mom how can we forget that! You know who is our wedding planner?" Bhai said excited.

"Yeah someone from "Happily Ever After" company."

"Ha that's right but you know she is none other than Avneet Sharma!"said Bhai excitedly.

"Avneet Sharma as in our Avu?!" She asked quickly.

"Ya mom! She's back!"

"Seriously! I want to meet her right now" Maa stated hurriedly and got up from the sofa and continued "Vishu beta! Go and bring my handbag and mobile! And Sid you address me the message! Uhh....I mean message me the address!"

Ohh God! Look at the excitement level

"Maa you don't have to go anywhere! She's coming tomorrow" I replied

She took a deep breath and sat down again.

"If she's coming tomorrow then okay.....I guess I can wait for a day....I mean it's difficult to wait for 24 hours but still I'll do" she replied sadly.

Abhi's POV

After talking to Maa for sometime I went to my room and signalled Vishu to follow me.

When she stepped inside she hurriedly closed the door behind her and came towards me. Ohh!! She wants to romance...

"Baby I know I am hot and sexy and all but I never knew that I attract you so much that you are always in mood for romance" I said winking to which she made a bad face.

"Excuse me Mr. Nigam!! I am not here for romance okay! And secondly not me, you are the one who thinks about romance all the time! I locked the door so that we can discuss our next plan" she said huffing.

"Okay okay!" I replied.

Then her expression changed and she hugged me tightly and started squealing with happiness.

"Abhi Abhi Abhi!! She's back! She's back!!!!!! I can't wait to have her as my little sister in law soon!" She said no yelled.

"Baby baby calm down! I know how happy you are and believe me when I say I've never been happier but control your emotions and most importantly your voice cause we don't want anyone to hear about this plan of ours"

"Okay okay! Shhhh" she kept a finger on her lips like a three year old toddler.

Oh my God! What did I do to deserve such a cutie....

She whispered slowly "What happened at the hotel?"

I smirked and said "A lot happened"

She returned the smirk and said, "Darling I want details"

The next few minutes went by in briefing her about the happenings at the hotel.

"The plan has started now but we need to be very careful about the next step we are about to take" she said after sometime.

"Yeah we need to be really careful" I said and the next second someone barged in the room.

"Careful about what Bhai?" he asked curiously.

"Umm...we...you..." I tried to make an excuse but failed miserably.

Suddenly he started grinning. Or I can say he started grinning like a devil.

"Bhai Bhabhi! I got it!" He said sheepishly.

"What? What did you understand?" Vishu asked horrified.

"No no! You'll start blushing crimson if I say that aloud" he replied back.

"Cut the crap and say it" I said

"Umm...you were talking about being careful and using protection right?" He said grinning.

Oh No! What the hell!

"Sidddharthhh!" Vaishnavi yelled and he just ran out laughing.

"Didn't you lock the door before? How did he enter then?" I asked her.

"Umm.. due to the excitement and all I forgot to put the latch" she said biting her lips.

Oh Lord! Why does she do that?

"Come on now! Let's discuss our next step" she said diverting the topic.

Siddharth's POV

I just can't believe how quickly my life turned upside down today. It's all because of her. Wasn't she satisfied after breaking my heart that she came back again? Does she even realize how much pain I've been through all these years? She was my rain. Ever since that incident my life has become barren. There are no flowers of happiness. All the colours have faded away. But I moved on. Somehow I locked up all the feelings in the cage of my heart. I thought I was better again but she came back just to mess everything again.

No.

I can't let her snatch away my happiness and destroy my life again, the way she did last time. I can't make the same mistake twice. I am not the Siddharth I was back then. I'll show her the 'new me' this time. Just wait and watch Ms. Sharma.

Avneet and Jannat went back to their room and without even uttering a single word Avneet just moved towards the washroom and locked the door behind. Jannat understood her state of mind and decided to give her some space.

As soon as she entered the washroom she stripped off all her clothes and she put on the shower.

Avneet's POV

As soon as the cold water came in contact with my skin, I started relaxing. It felt as if the water is taking off all of my burdens, all of my pains and sufferings.

Meeting the person whom you loved a few years back is not easy.
Seeing the face you took oath of never seeing again is not easy.
Watching him get cozy with his girlfriend is not at all easy.
And lastly seeing hate for me in his eyes is not fuckin easy!

Everything! Every single thing is coming back. All these years I've been a hurt a couple of times and by a couple of times I mean more than thousand times!

But not this time.......I am not a toy. I am not an object. There's an extent of pain I can endure. That limit's already broken. This time I choose 'me'.

Jannat's POV

It's been more than two hours since she is in the washroom. I hope she used warm water. Cold water in this December winter can be dangerous. I started knocking on the door and after a few knocks she decided to open up. Damn! She's totally red. Was she bathing with ice?? She was only wearing her bathrobe. So, quickly I dragged her out of the washroom and turned off the AC and the fans. This girl never seems to understand.

I gave her a pair of pajamas and comfortable tee and a hoodie to cover up. She changed instantly. After she changed I made her sit down on the bed and covered both of us with the duvet. I had already ordered hot vegetable soup for her.

After having the soup, madam finally decided to speak up!

"You know sweety..."she said looking at me.

"No... what is it?" I asked impatiently waiting for her to speak another sentence.

"I love you" she said cutely.

"Eww! I am not a lesbian" I said joking.

She continued further , "I don't know how I would have managed this far without you. You know when I met you seven years ago I instantly knew that you were a blessing, an angel. Thank you..... Thank you for always being my soul sister." she said getting emotional.

"And you know what? I hate you!" I said faking.

She just gave me her signature pout.

"Oh Darling! I love you My Avneetay!" I said hugging her as she hugged me back.

"But promise me, you won't pull such stunt again? If you do,then I am not talking to you for seven days!" I said demandingly.

"Seven days!! No! I promise I won't" she said afraid of my warning.

"Sweety you know I am pretty proud of you. I mean the way you handled the situation down there....was fantabulous!"she continued

"Hahaha! I scared Mr. Nigam. The look on his face was priceless. And that "I am Mr. Nigam's girlfriend" was fuming!"I said laughing.

"Yeah! Now both of them will think about what they speak in front of you!" said Avneet.

"On a serious note, I can't say about Siddharth but I absolutely love Abhishekh Bhai!" I said as a matter of factly.

"Yup! He's a pure gentleman and the best brother!" She said thinking about him.

"Come on now let's go to sleep! Tomorrow we have to go to Vibha mansion"

Morning at Vibha Mansion

As soon as the clock hit 5 am Vibha woke up hastily. She quickly did her daily chores and went downstairs hurriedly. She was dressed up pretty well today on account of the special occasion today.

As she went down she saw that Vaishnavi was already sitting in the living room a little impatiently. She was surprised to see her in the house at such an odd time.

Vaishnavi's POV

I woke up at 4 am today and quickly got dressed up and all and left for Vibha Mansion. I was sitting in the living room impatiently waiting for someone to wake up so that I can ask them about Avu's arrival.

I saw Mom coming down and I can definitely say that she was surprised to see me at this time. I stood up and greeted her.

"Good morning Mom" I said.

"Good morning Beta! But why are you here so early? Ohh! Couldn't wait to see my son?" she said teasingly.

"Mom! It's nothing like that! Actually I came here because Avneet is coming here today according to what Abhi said yesterday." I corrected

"Okay! But she'll be here by 11 am. It's 6 now" she said again.

"Umm...I was so excited that I totally forgot about that. But Mom why are you up so early?" I asked her.

"Actually Avu is coming na...so I could not sleep last night. I got up early so that I can do the preparations for welcoming her. I have to arrange the dining table, the living room and put fresh flowers everywhere because Avu loves it. And lastly I have to prepare her favourite food for lunch" she said in one breath.

"Why worry when Vaishu is here! Come we'll both do it together so that the time will also pass by quickly." I said excitedly.

And so the next few hours went by in arranging everything and making Avu's favourite food.

Siddharth's POV

I woke up a little late today cause I slept late last night.

Don't ask why.....

After having a shower I went down for breakfast and by mistake I entered someone else's living room. So I turned back and then I realized that it's my own house and this is most likely to be my own living room.

Who did the decorations? Why? I heard some noise coming from the kitchen so I entered there and saw that Bhabhi and Maa are gossiping about something and cooking food.

The smell is amazing! Maybe it's delicious..

Concentrate!

"Maa, what's all this about?" I asked entering the kitchen.

"Don't you know? Avu beta is coming home today so that is why we are doing the preparations for welcoming her" she said delightedly.

Oh Goddd!!!
