"Follow me Vlad we have to talk." Danny said as soon as time was back.

"What do you need to tell me Daniel?" Vlad asked.

"Not here. Come on. Mom, dad, Jazz please stay here. I'll explain when we get back. That means you too Sam and Tucker." Danny said as he walked out of the room.

"Okay now you have my attention Daniel. What do you need to talk to me about?" Vlad asked.

"We are going to take in a child. His name is Dan. There will be no ifs ands or buts about it." Danny said walking to the front door.

"Dan? As in Dan?" Vlad asked.

"Yes that Dan. Clockwork has made him a small child and taken away most of his powers. The only thing he can do now is change his eye color." Danny said.

"What if" Vlad started.

Danny turned around his eyes flashed red and he said, "I said no ifs ands or buts. We have to take him in."

"Okay we are going to take him in. Please calm down." Vlad said.

Danny took a deep breath in and looked out the window. He saw a car pull up on the drive away. The social worker walked around her car and went into the back of her car and took out a toddler. He had black hair and his eyes were blue. He looked just like Danny when he was a toddler. She gave him an annoyed look then picked him up and carried him to the door.

When she knocked Vlad opened the door and said, "Hello."

"Hello I'm Katie from the orphanage and we heard that you would take in this little guy." Katie said as she set Dan on the ground.

Danny walked over to Dan and picked him off the ground.

"Yes I can take him in. What do I need to do?" Vlad asked.

"You need to sign this paper saying that you will be his legal guardian." Katie said holding out a piece of paper to him. Vlad took out his pen and signed that papers.

"Is that all you need Ms. Katie?" Vlad asked.

"Yes thank you bye." Katie said as she left in a hurry. She got in her car and drove off.

"How are we going to explain this to everyone?" Vlad asked.

"I don't know." Danny said shrugging his shoulders still holding Dan.

"Do you want me to introduce Dan or do you just want to walk in there holding him?" Vlad asked.

"I will just walk in there holding him." Danny said as he watched Dan fall asleep on his shoulder. Danny took his blanket off his shoulders and covered Dan so that no one could see him.

They walked back to the room. Vlad walked in first and said, "Everyone needs to be quiet."

"Why? Is there something wrong?" Maddie asked.

"No there is not Madeline. There is just a new person coming into the house so you must be quiet." Vlad said.

Danny walked in with Dan still under the blanket and said, "Be quiet. I'm going to set him down so do not disturb him." He set Dan down on the couch wrapped in the blanket.

"Who is that?" Sam asked.

"His name is Dan. And before you ask yes it's Dan." Danny said sitting by the sleeping toddler.

"How are you okay with this Danny!" Jazz asked as she raised her voice a little.

"Shh! Keep your voice down. I'm guessing he had a long day." Danny said, "He has no powers and no memory. He is as harmless as a regular child."

"What do you mean he doesn't have and powers? That's Dan. Of course he has powers." Sam said quietly.

"He has no powers because Clockwork took them away. All he can do is change his eye color. If you don't trust me you can leave." Danny said.

"Okay. We believe you. If you are okay with this we will be too." Jazz said.

There was silence until they heard another loud noise, "I should let him out. At least it's not as small as the thermos." Vlad said.

"You can do what ever you want as long as he leaves as soon as you let him out." Danny said.

"I could show him to your parents." Vlad said.

"Hey mom do you want to see a ghost called Skulker?" Danny asked interrupting his parents conversation.

"Sure Danny. Where is he?" Maddie asked.

"I'll go get him." Vlad volunteered. He disappeared through the floor. It didn't take long for him to come back with Skulker behind him, "Remember what I said Skulker. That I gave Daniel full permission to shoot you or send Cujo after you if you don't listen. Or something he doesn't like."

"I do things he doesn't like all the time. The boy hates me." Skulker said.

"I don't hate you. I just don't like that much." Danny said.

"Thanks. That means a lot coming from you." Skulker said sarcastically.

Danny, Jazz, Sam, and Tucker bursted out laughing. "Alright you four calm down." Vlad said.

"I have one question. Who are they and why are they all here?" Skulker asked.

"Those two on the couch are old college friends of mine and they are Daniel's parents. They are all here because we told them that they are grandparents." Vlad said.

"Okay. Now who is the little whelp on the couch by Phantom?" Skulker asked.

"That would be a gift from Clockwork. He said we had to take care of him. So now if you touch him or anyone else in this room I will kick your ass. Do I make myself clear Skulker?" Vlad said threatening him. Vlad didn't notice that his eyes turned red when he said that but Skulker did. He didn't like the feeling that Vlad gave off.

"I swear I won't touch them." Skulker said backing away a little.

Everyone went quiet when they heard Vlad swear. They all looked at them. No one noticed what happened when to Vlad when he was speaking. They only noticed that Skulker was backing away from him. Vlad looked behind him and saw that everybody was looking sat him. He fixed his suit and said, "Sorry for the harsh language." He sat back down right next to Danny.

Danny made sure that his parents were talking to Skulker and that his friends and Jazz were talking so that they didn't see him whisper to Vlad, "Are you okay? You seemed a little bit more protective of everything."

He whispered back, "Yes I am fine."

"Okay good. How about we go make dinner." Danny said.

"Alright." Vlad said. He held out his hand to help Danny up. He gladly took it, "You can either stay for dinner or you can leave Skulker."

"I am going to leave now, but thanks for the offer." Skulker said as he left the room.

"Okay. Now who is staying and who is going?" Vlad asked.

"I think we are going to head home. It's getting late we should go don't you agree Jack." Maddie said.

There was no answer. When they looked at Jack he was holding the sleeping Dan in his arms.

"Jack it's time to go. Please give Danny back his child." Maddie said.

Jack sighed and handed Dan to Danny.

"Do you guys want a ride home?" Jazz asked.

"Sure. Thanks." Tucker said.

"Yes please." Sam said.

"I guess I will see you guys later. Bye." Danny said.

"Yup bye." Jazz said.

When everyone was gone Danny set Dan back down on the couch and asked, "What do you want to make for dinner?"

"You need to get off of your feet. I'll take care of dinner. You can watch Dan. Because if he wakes up and no one is around he might get scared." Vlad said.

Danny sighed and sat back down, "Okay I'll stay here."

"Thank you." Vlad said. He left the room and came back about twenty minutes later. When he walked in he saw that Danny fell asleep holding Dan in his arms. Vlad took out his phone and took a picture. He picked Danny and Dan and took them to bed.

Here is another chapter! Dan is here now!!! He is tiny and adorable! Also I won a riding lawnmower today! It was out of a raffle. I hope you people like the story so far. Little Dan is fun! He is going to be so much fun in the mornings! (Hint in to the next chapter) Goodbye for now!
