Chapter Twenty-Three

Harry woke up by the lights in his window living room.
He squinted at the sight, and noticed that he was lying on the couch.

Yesterday was fuzzy, he hardly could remember a single thing. All he knew was that he invited his friends over to celebrate.

The smell of pancakes and eggs came from the kitchen, which made Harry starve.

He got up from the couch, and went to the kitchen to find Zayn and Liam cooking breakfast.

"Morning." Harry said tiredly, and sat down on the table.

Harry suddenly remembered that he was suppose to meet up with Grace today, and sign some papers.

Luckily he got Grace's number before he left the building, he decided that he would just call her on what time they would meet.

"Breakfast is served." Zayn said, and placed a plate of pancakes and eggs in front of Harry.

"Thank you, mate. Let's eat, shall we?" Harry asked, and grabbed his fork and sliced a piece of the pancake.

Zayn and Liam sat down beside him, and also grabbed their forks and started eating as well.

"Weren't Niall and Louis here yesterday? Where are they? Aren't they going to join us for breakfast?" Harry asked, and Zayn and Liam looked at each other and slightly shrugged.

"They had to leave. Niall had to do something, and Louis came with him." Zayn lied, and continued eating breakfast.

Harry just nodded, and tried to remember what happened yesterday. Unfortunately, he failed and couldn't remember anything at all.

"What happened yesterday? I barely remembered a thing, I think I had way too many drinks." Harry blurted out, while chewing the bit of pancake.

"You don't remember what happened?" Liam asked, while drinking from his cup of coffee.

"I was half drunk yesterday, you expect me to remember everything?" Harry asked with sarcasm in his voice.

"Well, I think it better if you won't know mate." Zayn replied, which made Harry even more curious on what happened last night.

"Why? What happened, mate? Did I bought a girl to bed again?" Harry asked curiously, which made both Zayn and Liam laugh.

"This is not funny mate, what happened?" Harry asked, now getting serious.

"Alright, we'll tell you." Liam finally said, and stopped chuckling.

"Just promise that you won't take it out on us." Liam said, which made Harry more curious on what happened yesterday.

"Yesterday, Niall went here to celebrate with us. Apparently Zayn saw him buying a bouquet of Flowers. Since we were almost half drunk, he asked why he bought those. And he bought those for.." Liam trailed off, which Harry urged him to go on.

"Does Nialler have a girlfriend? I thought he was no girlfriend since birth. I guess everything has changed." Harry chuckled, but Zayn and Liam remained quiet.

"So, who's the lucky girl?" Harry asked, and took another slice from the pancake.

"Actually mate, it was Taylor." Zayn spoke up, and Harry's laughter died down.

All the chuckles and laughter he had inside him were gone, and was replaced with somewhat jealousy.
He didn't know why he still felt for Taylor that way.
It's been about five months, and no matter what he couldn't get her out of his head.
And the fact the Niall bought her flowers, just made his blood boil.

"Mate, you alright?" Liam asked, noticing Harry became quiet.

"Uh, yeah. What happened? Did I did something bad?" Harry asked.

"Well, technically you raged at Niall for buying Taylor flowers. And told him to stay away from her." Liam finished, and Harry let out a groan

"I've messed up, didn't I? Is that the reason why he left?" Harry asked, and rubbed his temples.

"Kind of, but listen mate. You were half drunk, who knows what your state of mind could've been." Zayn said, trying to cheer him up.

"But, I couldn't help but wondering mate. Did yo really mean it when you said to stay away from Taylor?" Liam asked, and this time Harry looked up at him.

It was a good question, and Harry knew the obvious answer to that.

Taylor placed the cat bowl on the rug, and Olivia came and started eating her treats. She saw Merideth, still sleeping peacefully and purring slightly.

Taylor's phone vibrated from her pocket, Taylor got her phone and checked the caller ID.
Grace was calling, what could she be calling for?

"Grace?" Taylor asked, and went to the kitchen to grab a glass of water.

"Taylor, listen, meet me at the same cafe later at noon. We'll be doing something important rather. And dont forget to bring your written Song. I'll see you, dont be late." Grace exclaimed, and before Taylor could reply she already hung up.

Taylor wondered what could they be doing something important? Guess she'll just have to find out what's awaiting for her.

Before Harry could even call Grace's number, she was already calling just in time.

Harry answered her call, and he could hear Grace from the other line.

"Morning, Grace." Harry greeted

"Morning to you too. Listen Harry, meet me at the cafe down the block later at noon. We'll be doing something important. I'll see you, and don't be late." Grace said rather quickly, like she was somewhat in a hurry.
Before he could mutter a response, she already ended the call.

Harry was nervous and excited at the same time, but what'll happen when that important thing turned out to be an 'important someone'?
