Chapter Twenty-five

Days passed, and soon it was already Monday. Harry couldn't contain his excitement, this was a whole new thing for him. He could feel the excitement in his veins, rushing through him.

And he couldn't wait to see what he has to do next in the studio.

Harry got down from the staircase, and noticed that he was all alone in his flat.

Zayn and Liam must've left earlier this morning, Harry thought.

He went to his kitchen, and decided to make brunch for himself. He got out some leftover pasta that he had just the other day, and heated it inside the microwave.

While the pasta was being heated, Harry couldn't help but think that he actually got to meet Taylor, let alone to be friends with her.
It was just all too bizarre for Harry.

Never in his wildest dreams would he thought to meet
Taylor again. But everything happens for a reason, right?

The alarm of the microwave disturbed Harry's thoughts. He opened the microwave, and saw the pasta was steamy and hot.

He placed the pasta on the table and grabbed a fork from the counter, and started eating.

After eating his pasta, he cleaned everything up and he decided he was ready to go.

While wiping his hands with a cloth, he looked outside and noticed it was a bit windy for a hot summer air. Harry went to his drawer, where he places all
his jackets, sweaters and scarfs.

He opened the drawer, and found some worn out sweaters that he used to wear in high school, a jacket that he thought he lost in the park, but most importantly he found something that he never thought he had.

It was a red scarf, that he knew where it belonged to.

This was Taylor's scarf, then he suddenly remembered why he had her scarf in his drawer.

They were having a movie night together, and it was a bit chilly. Luckily, Taylor bought her scarf with her.

They snuggled up with the scarf wrapping around their bodies, keeping them warm enough from the chilly wind.

She must've left her scarf before she left, Harry thought.

He held the scarf in his hand, remembering the night they shared.

This is one of the nights Harry won't forget,it was a night to remember.

While holding the scarf in his hands, he thought that he should return this to Taylor. As much as he wanted to keep it, he thought that it was the right thing to do.

But for now, Harry decided to use this for a moment. It wouldn't hurt if he used her scarf for a minute, right?

He closed the drawer and wrapped the scarf around his neck.

Even though this scarf was from months ago, it still has her scent of vanilla and cherries.

It was an intoxicating scent, but Harry liked it.

As he walked on the sidewalk, a rhythm in his mind was whirling inside his head.

Grace never spoke to him what they were going to do inside the studio.
She didn't spoke to him what he was going to record.
But he already had a rhythm in his mind and lyrics, already prepared.

The cool gush of wind, hits his face which made him shiver.

While walking down the streets with his skinny jeans, one billboard caught his attention.
The billboard was attached on top of the building, so everyone can see.
Taylor could be seen in the billboard, sitting on what seems like a wooden bench with her hands crossed.

From Harry's point of view, he could tell it was an ad from Keds with Taylor using as their model.

Harry was still processing that the fact he could see Taylor, not only him but other people who lives nearby the street.

He just wasn't used to all the popularity, but he should get used to it since more than three hundred million people saw her and heard her.

He looked at the billboard again, she had the red lipstick that he liked.
She changed her appearance, he once straight long hair became to a short hair with Bangs on the side.
Even though she changed her appearance, her personality was ever the same.

"Do you mind if you move, kid? You're blocking the street." A man said, and Harry turned to look at him.

"Sorry." Harry mumbled, and stepped aside on the street to give some space for him to walk. He walked straight ahead, and Shook his head as If he was disappointed.

Harry took one last glance at the billboard, and continued walking on the sidewalk.

The chilly wind didn't stopped, and became more colder. Harry placed his hands inside the pocket of his jeans. Harry wondered why it was getting chilly all of a sudden, since it was a few days before the start of spring.

Finally he reached the building, and entered the glass doors. Luckily it was warmer inside.
Harry went to the receptionist, and she was typing something down on her computer.

"Harry Styles?" The receptionist asked before Harry could even introduce himself.

"Yes, that's me." He said, and the receptionist stopped typing and went to the stacks of folders piled beside her desk.

"I believe you have a recording session with Ms. Grace." She said, as she pulled out a folder and scanned it.

"Yes." Harry replied shortly.

"Please go up to the 14Th floor, she's waiting for you." The receptionist said, and Harry nodded as a reply.

He went to the elevator, and pressed the 14Th button.

The elevator halted to a stop on the 12Th floor, which means someone will also join for a ride.

The elevator doors opened, and Harry saw who pressed the button.

Taylor was standing at the open elevator doors, and she was also surprised who was standing in front of her.

Taylor stepped inside the elevator, and the doors closed once again.

"What floor?" Harry asked, and Taylor shifted her gaze at Harry.

"Same as you." She replied, and Harry nodded.

"Didn't expect you to wear that old scarf again." Taylor said nonchalantly, and Harry almost forgot he was wearing her scarf in front of her.

"Oh yeah right, I'm suppose to return it to you." Harry said, while taking off the red scarf wrapped around his neck, the scent of vanilla and cherries was fading away while he unwrapped the scarf around him.

"You sure you dont want to keep it? Looks like you could use it more than I would." Taylor chuckled softly, and Harry couldn't hide his redden cheeks.

"You should keep it, not to mention you're the one who left it." Harry said and handed the scarf to Taylor.

Taylor nodded, and accepted the scarf that Harry handed.

Deep inside, Harry knew that he didn't want to gave the scarf away. It was the only thing that he had left from Taylor.

The elevator landed on the 14Th floor, and they both got out.
They could see Grace talking to some crewmen, and managing the rest of the room.

Harry cleared his throat as they both got closer to Grace. She turned around, and she smiled.

"Harry, Taylor. Good to see you. Wait for me at the bench right over there. I'll be there in a second." She said, and pointed to the wooden bench that was on the side.
Grace turned back, and continued talking to one of the crewman.

They followed Grace's instruction, and sat on the bench.

Harry could feel his palms going sweaty, she was just too close. There was little space for the both of them, that their legs were almost touching.

Taylor didn't seem bothered at all, but inside she could feel her heart racing.
She wouldn't give up now, after all these months she wouldn't just fall for Harry all over again.
She promised to herself that she wouldn't have any nights where she would cry the whole night, or drink whole bottle of wine. Those night were over.

"Saw an ad about you just this morning." Harry blurted out, and Taylor faced him.

"The keds one?"

"Yeah." Harry said, while looking down at his feet.

"Oh yeah, we were partnered together. Thats actually why I'm here today, and also maybe a recording session." Taylor shrugged, and Harry finally looked at Taylor.

"You're going to record a new song?" Harry asked, and slightly raised his brow.

"Well, not a full song. Just probably the first verse." Taylor muttered.

"What's it called?" Harry asked, making him curious.

"Wildest Dreams." Taylor said.

"Sounds like a new top single." Harry said, and they both chuckled.

Grace finally approached them, and they stopped chuckling.

"Right, let's start the day, shall we?" Grace said, and clasped her hands together.

"Now, Taylor. Good news for you, Keds finally launch the advertisement that we've been working for months." Grace informed, with a smile.

Taylor nodded and gave a smile.

"Harry, today we're going to plan you're song. Got any ideas?" Grace asked.

"Actually I've got one." Harry said, and Taylor looked at him.
She didn't know that they we're writing songs at the same time. And she was curious to find out what song had he been writing.

"Really? You never told me you were a songwriter. What's it called?" Grace asked.

"Two Ghosts."

I'm actually updating the day before the exam, meaning my exams are tomorrow. Wish me luck!

Anyways, hoped you still liked the chapter. I know it's nothing much, but next chapters will be great.

If you couldn't tell, I'm actually the one who made that keds sign. It's shitty, and lacks of creativity, I know...

Anyways Love y'all!
