~Pull it together~

Kaleigh- Everything is changing around every corner and that by I mean is that time is flying right now. Grading periods are going fast too and  which in case of having my first time at high school in Hertford County it's like no one is even listening to me anymore.

"Hey Kaleigh! "I turned to see Brandy running over to hug me in a reunion of the first day back.

"Hey." I said sadly.

"Whats wrong?" She asked.

"It's nothing. I'm just not up in the school spirit right now." I told her.

"Well the school spirit is just the beginning. C'mon let's go inside." Brandy grabs my hand to pull me inside the big school house.

3 hours later....

Ugh! Math is so hard now and I can't even remember the things that my teacher from last year went over. I have to go use the bathroom anyway. 

"Mrs.Crungar, may I use the bathroom?" I asked as she beckoned at me that meant for me to go use.

When I reached the bathroom I could hear whispers all around me and it was really freaking me out!

"Kaleigh listen to the sound of my voice. If you want to get out of this dump then just go to find the teleport key that allows you to get away from here." A dark males voice said

"Are you crazy? I'm not gonna join some voice in my head to that." I told my head and try to ignore it.

"But Kaleigh, what about your friends? They don't seem to care about you anymore. Remember at the last day of school at your graduation when you had to say your last goodbyes to Nina who left to go to Early college? She's only doing that to get her education done to go to college in East Carolina that way she won't even remember you." The voice told me.

"What's your deal to help me out of that? I have other friends too ya know." I protested.

"Other than those friends that have been focusing on their school work to get their degree and leave to go to the college they choose to go to."

"We are having some years apart here and their is stuff going on when we're done here." I said to myself.

"So what do you say Kaleigh? We get the teleport key to go join some new friends to let them listen and spend more time with you?  Or.....would you rather stay with some untreated friends of yours? It's your choice." He said.

'Its not like no one will know where I went.' I thought as think about my friends that are soon leaving from where I'm going.

"Okay voice.  I'll get the teleport key. " I answered.

"Excellent choice." He said

We then appeared to be in someones room that I never thought I will be enter in someone else's property.

"I thought you were going to summon a teleport key yourself. "I thought.

"Yes....this teleport key is with the person that has had it for a very long time now. My instincts tells me that it is in here. "He said

I then walked around the room as I heard a jingle coming from behind the jewelry box as I moved it to see a key glowing and shaking.

"Say......this is Nina's key!" I screamed.

"Yes, your friend has chose the right option to leave it. Once we grab it we get out of here so we can seek new friends to lend a hand upon on." He chuckles.

"Quick question. What do you want with this key anyway?" I asked the voice.

"No questions. Just teleport to where you want to be in your life and get on with it." He ignore my questions as I sighed.

"You sure I'm choosing the right path?" I asked him

"Positive. Go on." He encourage me as I lift the key up as I feel a sudden darkness around my body that was lurking inside my heart, brain, and eyes. My memories are disappearing like I never could remember who I met or where I came from.

"Excellent Kaleigh. With this key that you possess I shall guide you to a new journey of working for the devil. Hahahahahahahaha!!!"

"Yes sir." I said in a dark tone

~Next time~

Keith is gone and no sign of her in North Carolina that her family and friends become worried. But when they find out that the teleport key has been stolen they're is no chance if they will ever find Kaleigh at this rate.
