"And returning in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1." Bruce Banner clicked a few buttons. "Where is he?" Sam Wilson worried about his friend. "I don't know. He blew right by his time stamp. He should be here." Bruce said, clicking a few more buttons. Bucky turns away from the machine.

"Well, get him back." Sam commanded. "I'm trying." Bruce grumbled. "Get him the hell back!" Sam yelled. "Hey, I said, I'm trying!" Bruce was now yelling too.

"Sam..." Bucky whispered. Sam turned around to see what Bucky was staring at. He saw Steve, but he looked about 80. Sam and Bucky walk towards him. "Go ahead." Bucky said, a smile appearing on his face.

"Cap?" Sam asked, standing behind Steve. "Hi, Sam." Steve greeted, turning a little to look at him "So did something go wrong, or did something go right?" Sam asked. "Well, after I put the stones back, I thought, maybe I'll try some of that life Tony was telling me to get." he responded. "How'd that work out for you?"

"It was beautiful." Steve told him. "I'm happy for you. Truly." Sam said. "Thank you." Steve responded gratefully. "Only thing bumming me out is the fact I have to live in a world without Captain America."

"Oh, That reminds me." Steve reaches over and grabs his shield. "Try it on." Sam looks over to Bucky, who nods in approval.

"How does it feel?" Steve asks. Sam shakes his head. "Like it's someone else's." he says.

"It isn't." Steve replies. Sam tries to hold his tears back. "Thank you. I'll do my best."

"That's why it's yours." Steve said, shaking Sams hand in the process. Sam suddenly notices the wedding ring on Steve's finger. "You wanna tell me about her?"

Steve smiles and shakes his head. "No. No, I don't think I will."
