Flashback -

"Your actions were ill-advised and reckless." Daniel scolded. "Ill-adv-- reckless?!" Peggy yelled. "You're damn right. By your own professed rules, you should've allowed me to be sucked into the rift and shut it down, period." He tells her. "Is that so?" Peggy asks. "Yeah. " he responds.

"You talk a pretty big game ." Peggy comments. "When it's your life on the line, Carter." Daniel tells her. "But when it's somebody else's, pretty big hypocrite."

"Nothing to say? No quick comeback? " he asks. Suddenly Peggy kisses Daniel. "Good point." he tells her. They both smile and kiss again.

SSR, 3 Months Later -

Its been about 3 months since Peggy and Daniel became a couple. She decided that Steve wouldn't want her to waste her life upset about a relationship she never could have, so she would try and live her life fully.

She walked into the SSR, stopping by Daniel's office on the way to her desk. "Whats the agenda for today chief?" she asked as she walked in. "Well, Howard claims he's in love, and the dude in the lab is out sick. Other than that we are still trying to track down Underwood." Peggy smiles. "No way, Howards in love?" Daniel laughed. "I was thinking the same thing." he tells her, planting a kiss on her forehead.

Peggy sat down at her desk and tried to figure out the whereabouts of Dottie Underwood. There has been no murders or even a sign of her. She knew she should've stayed and not trusted Dottie. Now they have a very experienced criminal on the loose.

Peggy suddenly see's something moving in the corner of her eye. "Hello Miss Carter." Peggy looks up to see Mr. Edwin Jarvis. "Mr. Jarvis, what a surprise! I haven't seen you in a couple months." she exclaimed, standing up to give him a hug. "What brings you here?"

Mr. Jarvis looks down. "Mr. Stark has spotted Dottie. He has prototypes and we know her exact location. The weird thing is, she isn't exactly hiding."

"I'll get as many agents as we can. We need to secure the area and make sure its not a trap." Peggy runs off to Daniel's office. "We've spotted her. I'm going after her." Daniel immediately jumps up. "I'm coming too." Peggy shakes her head. "You need to take care of the SSR."

"Peggy I am not taking chances. I've almost lost you too many times. I'm coming." Peggy rolled her eyes. "Fine." she eventually says. But in the inside she doesn't quite mind. It feels good to have somebody care about you that much.

Peggy soon got a whole group of experienced SSR agents to close in on Dottie. Howard Starks tracker led to a small house in the countryside.

"Are you sure this is the right place? What would Dottie be doing here?" Peggy wondered out loud. "This could be a trap. I want a full perimeter, threaten anyone that moves!" Daniel ordered. "I can handle myself Sousa. I have unfinished business with Underwood."

"So do I Carter, so do I." Daniel responded, looking for any sign of Dottie outside of the house. "Sir, no signs of Underwood. We only found an unoccupied car."

"Lets go inside." Peggy announces, preparing her pistol. "SSR open up!" Daniel yells while pounding on the door. It slowly opens to Dottie Underwood, sipping coffee while listening to the radio.

"What are you doing here?" Daniel questions as Dottie throws her hands above her head. "This dude suddenly appeared in the middle of an alley looking pretty frantic. I was only trying to help him!" she claimed, nodding her head towards the kitchen where a tall, muscular man with blonde hair emerges from the doorway. Peggy turned, and was surprised at what she saw.

"Steve!"

AN - How's your day?
