"Fuck my fucking life why the fuck is it so fucking cold here"

"Taejeon wha-", Taehyung's eyes widened as he heard the kid cursing like a pro. Jungkook looked weirded out as well. "And here I am, thinking I raised him well-", the boy sighed, watching his son who unpacked his bag in the middle of the airport to pull a huge hoodie out along with his winter jacket.

"I miss America already", Taejeon hummed, then closed his bag again and looked around. "So Busan, huh?"

Taehyung and Jungkook exchanged some looks, then nodded and turned towards the train station. "Guys can you wait for a damn second!!", Jimin's voice made them look up. They totally forgot about him, oops.
The older rushed towards them, hands full of bags and his cap pulled deep down his face to avoid the icy wind outside.

"Dude you were the one who took hours to get your bags-", Taehyung grumbled. "It's okay", Jungkook smiled and patted Jimin's shoulders. The older immediately pushed his hands off and scoffed bitterly. "Don't touch me, Jeon."
And with that the mood was ruined after literally five minutes in Korea.

Taejeon was already heading towards the train station while facetiming Lili. The girl however was kinda sleepy since it was late at night for her.

You thought it couldn't get worse?
Well, damn. Wrong.

"Soo", Jungkook started while they sat in the train, "About your guys divorce-.. I set up a conract on the flight here, y'all just have to sign it and-"
"What the fuck?", Jimin hissed at Jungkook, expression in disbelief.

"I-I t-thought-", Jungkook stuttered, biting his  lips. "I thought you two will get divorced? Since I'm back in Tae's life?", he asked innocently.
"Who the fuck do you think you are, Jeon Jungkook-", Jimin let out, chuckling bitterly. Then he turned away, face turned towards the window.

The landscape was rushing past them outside the window, it happened so fast that Jimin wasn't able to take clear glances at the nature. And somehow that felt like his life right now-, from the moment they got out of the plane in America things just went crazy in an incredible fast pace.
Now here they were, Jungkook walking back in their lives, messing everything up they worked so hard for.

"I-", Kook tried again but Taehyung gave him a look that made him shut up instantly. "S-sorry", Kookie said and then turned to Taejeon to give him a sandwich he packed for their trip. "I'm not hungry, leave me alone", Taejeon grumbled, somehow annoyed of the whole situation. Jungkook didn't quite get why everyone turned mad.

"Just to get things straight here, Jeongguk", Jimin said after a while, facing the younger again. "If you want Tae, you have to fucking work for it. Now it's your turn to sacrifice everything for him, because I for sure as hell won't let him run back into your toxic arms if I'm not sure you'll treat him well this time. Apparently I'm the only one in this who thinks clear about the two of you."

"I chose him, I think I did very much right things-"

"No, no for fuck's sake. It's not enough to choose someone once. You've got to choose Taehyung every time, Jungkook. You gotta choose him when he's being the most annoying shithead ever, when he's sick in bed, when he's millions of miles away, when he's old and not that attractive anymore. Love isn't about choosing someone when you're 20, it's about loving someone enough to make them your top priority."

Jungkook rolled his eyes and nodded then, "Stop acting as if you know Tae better than I do. He's mine, he always was and I made him happy back then."
With that Jungkook grabbed Taehyung's hand and held it. Tae however only let out a sigh and let his head fall back.

"At least I didn't make Taehyung cry for two years straight", Jimin chuckled. "But fine, sorry for giving you advice on love. As far as I know all you did in love is fucking up. You lost Lyza to another guy, you lost Taehyung to someone else. You can't keep people because you're not fucking worth it", Jimin snapped and then got up. "I'll sit somewhere else."

Kook gulped dryly and nodded, not responding any further.
Taejeon literally jumped up the second Jimin left off and followed him. "What the fuck is wrong with you?", he yelled at the older as soon as they were far enough away from Jungkook and Taehyung.

"Nothing, go back to your father. I'm not your babysitter."

"Dude fuck off, I don't need a babysitter anymore. Who the fuck do you think you are to speak to my Dad like that? You're such a dumbass, it's hard enough for Dad to go back here and see his father dying. He doesn't need to be reminded of what he lost here because as far as I know he lost everything that meant something", Taejeon grumbled. "Get your jealous ass under control, asshole. Jungkook was first and if your husband likes him better, so be it. No need to be a bitch about it, college and highschool are over for the three of you."

Then he showed him the middle finger and walked off, heading towards his father. "What did you do", Jungkook sighed.

"I made sure no one is gonna hurt you again-"

"Thank you", Jungkook hummed in a small voice.

"Someone had to do it", Taejeon side glanced at Taehyung. It was kinda his job to make Jungkook happy, and to control his husband. But Taehyung just sat there, not doing anything while he stared out of the window.

*

When they left the train, Jungkook pulled his jacket up till it reached his chin and let out a small whimper. "Feels like ice age", he chuckled, trying to enlighten the mood between them, which was by now not really far up anymore.
Taehyung smiled softly and grabbed Jungkook's hand to squeeze it, "Let me warm you up, Baby-"

Jimin only sideglanced them, scoffing to himself.

Kook felt his cheeks heating up along with his heartbeat speeding to another pace. "y-yeah thanks", he said, squeezed Taehyung's hand back and then pulled away, smiling awkwardly.

The boy quickly stuffed his hands deep down his pocket and focused on their way. It wasn't that long until they reached Jimin and Taehyung's apartment where they would stay for the next few days. It was the closest to the hospital, so it was the most logical.
Jimin hated the thought of Jungkook in his own four walls, but what was he supposed to do. So he just kept quiet about it and decided to ignore all of it.

Taehyung was a little confused, Jungkook used to love holding hands. When they were in America they held hands all the damn-, but right now Jungkook looked like a scared little cat while he walked along the snow-covered streets full of people who all minded their own business, but everyone knew; their eyes were everywhere.

And Jungkook felt that well-known feeling again. Being under constant judgement, and it made him feel like screaming or crying at once.

-

"You can sleep there", Jimin said coldly and threw a pillow and a blanket onto his sofa. They placed a mattress next to it for the kid but somehow Jungkook thought he'd sleep with Taehyung. "I think I rather sleep with Tae-", he tried to say but Jimin shut him up almost instantly, "You have absolutely nothing to wish for in my house. Fuck off, live with what you've got."

Kook nodded, "Okay, sorry-", he said quietly, feeling a little stupid as he sat down on the sofa, sighing quietly. Taejeon stared at the two of them for a long time, shaking his head. What a mess. He then patted his father's shoulders, "It's gonna be alright."

"Where does Tae sleep?", Kook asked a little anxiously.

"With me, obviously. I'm his husband", Jimin laughed amused. "We share a bed just like we share a life. It's so much more you ever had with him because little Jungkookie couldn't admit he liked his best friend-", with that the boy turned around and walked back to his bedroom in which Taehyung was waiting for him.

"Seriously?", Taejeon tilted his head, eyeing his Dad. "You let them treat you like that?"

"They're right", Jungkook simply shrugged, then leaned back and looked around, they had it pretty here. Photos hanging up the walls which showed them happily smiling to the camera, going on trips or out for dinner. They had it all held in a white color mixed with some pastels, the whole small apartment had a bit of aesthetics within. "I always wanted to have a photo wall too", Jungkook smiled fondly. "Tae and I took so many pictures when we were younger-"

"Dad", Taejeon sighed. "Why isn't Tae here right now?"

Kook shrugged, "He's with his husband I guess, and that's okay. Who am I to judge-"
"You seem to have completely let yourself down since we've got here", his son grumbled.

"And again everyone treats you like shit and you just go along."

He didn't get a response to that, because Jungkook turned away and put headphones on. As he always did when certain voices inside his head got too loud. They weren't gone, even after all those years-, they kept creeping up in every possible moment. When Jungkook got anxious in public places, they were there. If he set foot on a playground, they started screaming and he couldn't help but cry out of nowhere.

There wasn't a single day he lived without them,  a part of him always dedicated to them.
But Jungkook didn't really mind them anymore  they were easy to handle, he just told himself he wasn't there anymore. Things were too far away to hurt him again.

Funny how he was right back where it all happened now and the voices weren't going to silence down. No matter how much he wished them for in this certain night.

Taejeon stayed awake tonight, watching his father shivering in nightmares. Always ready to hold him, like he always did back then.
"Oh Dad, this is going to break you", he whispered in the dark while he ruffled through his father's black locks that fell lazily above his shut eyes. "And I wish I could do something about it-"

The boy sighed and hugged his father, climbing on the small couch to him.
He hadn't slept in the same bed with his father for such a long time, whenever he asked for it the younger just told his father not to be clingy because he was now too old and mature to hug his Dad in his sleep.

Yet Taejeon never felt more safe than right now, curled up and right- back in his arms.

Silently praying for his father to get through this, because if any love in all of this was real, then it'd be Taejeon's love he held in his small bratty heart for no one else but his father.

"Are you going to divorce me?", Jimin questioned this night when he laid in bed, not able to sleep.
"Yeah, I will", Taehyung replied, staring at the ceiling. "So how is this gonna work? You live here, he lives there. Who's gonna give their life up, huh?"

"Him, I'm not moving to America", Taehyung chuckled quietly. "As much as I love him, but nah."

"Pretty sure he assumes you're coming there with him", Jimin grumbled. "Well, I guess it's time for him then to understand that I'm not that foolish dumb college boy anymore that does everything for him blindly in love."

"I'd like to see that", Jimin hummed in a small voice.

Taehyung shrugged, "Let's wait till his father died, if he wants to leave we won't have to get divorced-"

"Do you even want to divorce me or are you doing it because you feel guilty?", Jimin snapped. "It's because it's Jungkook", Taehyung argued.
"And what about him? Tell me what the fuck it is that makes you like him so much. He's really not that special."

Taehyung bit his lips, "I like-", he looked into the air, thinking of nothing. "Just everything."

"Describe."

"He's nice and his smile is pretty-", Taehyung hummed. "He glows a lot more since he moved abroad, America suits him."

"His personality? Isn't that what you fell for? What about it? The way he left everything and everyone behind, even his own father? Or how he mindlessly cheated on his girl that waited at home for him passionately night by night? Oh wait, or is it how he said yes to Lyza and was ready to marry her?!!", Jimin laughed out. "God this is so pathetic."

"Shut up", Taehyung groaned. "It's not easy for me either. I thought I'd never see him again or else I would've never ever married you."

"Damn", Jimin said dryly. "That hurt."
And with that the older turned his back towards Taehyung and closed his eyes, ignoring him for the rest of the night.

Meamwhile Taejeon, who sat outside their room still awake, heard every word being said and felt like crying. Neither of them seemed to plan on being there for his father, all they had in mind was their shitty relationship.

No one seemed to notice that Jungkook's eyes already lost sparkle after being here for 5 hours. How he kept looking above his shoulders every two seconds when they were outside and how he hid himself under his jacket.
And while no one noticed, no one seemed to care either.

It was just Jungkook, right?
He deserved it after all, didn't he?
