"What do you wanna do for your birthday?", Jungkook leaned back on the bed, watching Taehyung get dressed this morning. "My birthday?", Taehyung's eyes widened, turning towards his boyfriend. "It's tomorrow. Do you want to celebrate? Like-, we could go out tonight and drink shots at midnight and have dinner tomorrow--"

"I haven't celebrated my birthday in years", Taehyung looked a little confused. "No way", Jungkook laughed out weakly, "You lived with Jimin and he's for sure one of the most extreme birthday enthusiasts I know", Kook grinned and then got up as well, grabbing a towel to put it around his waist. He was about to take a shower since he was kinda -- full with a certain liquid. "We kept it lowkey, only had movie nights and pizza", Taehyung hummed. "Birthdays aren't the same without you", he mumbled, walking closer to hug Jungkook while the younger was walking towards the bathroom.

"I'm here now so we will celebrate it", Jungkook announced happily, clapping his hands. "Do you want to go out alone or should we invite the others?"

"The others?", Taehyung asked confused, "As far as I know you and me have no friends-"
"We could invite Lyz? Maybe Jimin-, and the kids? Skylar? Even Namjoon and Jin are in town so why not them as well-"

"Not a single one of them actually likes us", Taehyung grumbled.
"It's time to make things right between all of us", Jungkook explained, "It's been years and we're still in each other's lives so why do we make such a big deal out of everything. Jimin can bring Yoongi along, Lyza can bring Finn along--"

"Kook", Taehyung sighed. "Do you really want to have our Exes around?"
Jungkook shrugged, "Maybe not tomorrow. Let's have dinner just you, me and Taejeon. But going out to a bar is way more fun with a group don't you think?"

"I'd love that", Taehyung said slowly, "But I'm scared of all of this being a big mistake that brings nothing but pain."

"If things get out of hand we'll just give them more alcohol and things will be chill", Jungkook giggled, "Except for the kids- Oh shit we can't bring Taejeon into a bar, right?"

"No idea", Taehyung shrugged, "We could just celebrate here? I don't want to go out if it's without Taejeon, he's literally the only one I need to be around except for you-"

"Mhm", Taejeon suddenly said from behind, arms crossed. "Can I invite my friends as well."
"It's not your birthday", Jungkook scoffed, looking at his son. "Lili will be there, isn't that enough?"

Taejeon scrunched his nose, "What about Mom?"
"Of course", Taehyung smiled softly, "She'll be the first we'll invite."

The kid nodded, "Fine. My present is the best by the way", with that he turned around and rushed out of the room, picking up his phone to call Lili that they'd be partying tonight. In bed.
Jungkook turned to Taehyung who was just looking a little stressed, "Fuck I'm nervous. I never had a birthday party-"

"There's always a first for everything", Jungkook said, pressing a kiss to Taehyung's cheek. "I'll take a shower now, I'll be right back-"
Taehyung only grinned, slapped Jungkook's ass and then followed him into the bathroom. "You really thought I'd let you clean up by yourself? You can't even bend down, you for sure as hell need some help--"

"You helping me always turns out in your dick up my ass", Jungkook sighed a little exhausted, "And I'm hella sore--"
"It's my birthday tomorrow", Taehyung pouted. "Your ass is my present."

"Dude I have a way better present", Jungkook grumbled but to be honest, he had no good argument why they couldn't shower together so he simply locked the door, threw the towel away and took Taehyung's hand to make out on their way into the shower.

"See you later", Lyza leaned over to place a kiss on Finn's cheek when he dropped her off at the coffee shop. "I'll wait here", the boy said, smiling slightly. "You really don't have to. Jimin is literally just a friend", Lyza promised, ruffling the boy's hair.

"I'm just making sure."
Lyza rolled her eyes and then got out of the car, walking inside the coffee shop. Jimin was already there, sitting nervously at a table right next to the window, playing around with the menue. "Hi!", he smiled, getting up once Lyza arrived. The girl threw her blonde hair back and gave him a hug. "Damn you're sober", she grinned and then sat down next to him.

"I am-", Jimin hummed.
"Are you feeling a little better today?", Lyza questioned, eyeing the boy for a while until she grabbed the menu and looked for a drink. "I guess so", Jimin hummed. "You're probably right about them. There's nothing I can do about it, maybe I should just move on."

"You should", Lyza said softly, "And there's plenty nice men in the sea. Or women, no idea what you're looking for-"

"I don't know myself", Jimin chuckled, "I just want someone with a great personality and a loving smile. Someone who chooses me over everyone else."
Lyza nodded, "I'm sure there's someone out there who is exactly like that", she winked with a smirk on her face. "I might stay in America, maybe if I make some friends I can introduce you to them-"

Jimin blushed a little, "Oh no no no--"
"Why not", Lyza giggled, "It'll be fun-, we could go out to bars and hit cute boys or girls up for you. I always wanted to do stuff like that-"

"Why did you never do that?"

"I've kinda always been taken and had no real friends", Lyza shrugged.

Jimin gulped and nodded, "Maybe I'll stay here too."
"I feel like Chicago finally gives me a chance to breath", Lyza hummed, "It's hard being surrounded by people who do nothing but judge every move you make back where we come from. But here it's like no one really cares what you do as long as you won't bother anyone. I love that. And I think it would also be better for Finn if he's out of that place. Plus there's a chance for me to see my kids grow up."

"Kids?", Jimin's eyes widened. "You found Tae's son?"
Lyza nodded, tears coming up. "He's amazing. His adoptive mother actually turned out to be a great friend so I get to see him growing up. And Taejeon is here too, so-"

"That's an amazing coincidence", Jimin mumbled. "So Jungkook knows now too?"
Lyza nodded, "He's surprisingly fine with it.."

"Of course he is", Jimin let out a sigh. "Lately he seems to do everything right, hm-"

"Stop", Lyza reached out, her hand grabbing Jimin's softly. She squeezed it lovingly, "Stop that salty tone whenever we talk about Kook. He doesn't deserve this."

"He stole my man", Jimin pouted but calmed down immediately when he felt the warmth of Lyza's hand around his own. "Technically you stole his", the girl winked. "And take a second and think, do you really love Taehyung or was he just there at the right time?"
Jimin shrugged, "He's just always been my best friend, y'know. And now I lost him-"

"Did you hear that?", Lyza lifted an eyebrow. "Best friend, huh?"
"Maybe I have a thing for falling in love with friends", Jimin argued, pulling his arm away to cross them. "Oh really?", Lyza chuckled. "Let's find you a new best friend then-"

Jimin nodded, staring at Lyza, "Yeah let's do that."
The girl chuckled, "Hi I'm Lyza I'm casting for the role of Jimin's best friend-"

"LYZA", Jimin blurted out, "Did you just-"
"I'm jokinggg", she laughed out and ruffled his hair, "Just kidding."

"Bet your boyfriend wouldn't like that joke", Jimin rolled his eyes.
"Oh he never likes my jokes. One time I tried to tell him a joke I once heard in highschool from Jin and he didn't even smile."

"That's because Jin's jokes suck", the boy chuckled.
"They don't."
"They do."
"Shut up", Lyza scoffed, pouting her lips. "Make me", Jimin smiled back and Lyza could only gasp, "Bet my boyfriend wouldn't like that too."

"Probably not-", Jimin tilted his head slowly, biting his lips which made Lyza sigh. "He's outside-"

"He's so obsessed with you, why?"
"Boy, I wanna know", Lyza let her head fall down on the table.

"Oof", Jimin hummed and turned to Minho who was finally here to order their drinks. "One beer. And a strawberry milkshake with vanilla topping-", Jimin said and Lyza looked at him with big eyes. "How do you know---"
"You loved that when we had it in the cafeteria back in highschool. Jungkook always bought that for you", Jimin winked at her.

"Woah", Lyza said amazed and then looked up to Minho, "No beer for him though-"
"Oh come on!", Jimin sighed.
"No, you can stay sober for once!"
"But-"
"He'd like some apple juice."

Minho only nodded, "Love having couples here", he grumbled and then walked away to prepare the drinks.
"I don't even like apple juice-"
"Looks like beer though, you can pretend", Lyza chuckled and Jimin couldn't help but laugh as well.

"Look at you", she hummed, "There's the smile the world missed-"
"Cringey much", Jimin covered his mouth so she wouldn't see his smile anymore and then hid behind the menu to choose food.

"Why won't we invite your boyfriend in if he's waiting outside?", Jimin suddenly asked, "It's kinda mean to let him wait like this-"
Lyza shrugged, "Do you want him to join us?"
The boy nodded, "It kinda sucks to be excluded. Why not?"

Lyza smiled weakly and then got up, "I'll go get him then, wait for me-"
She walked outside and saw Finn peacefully sitting in the car while reading the newspapers. Lyza quickly opened the door and looked at him with her big doll eyes, "Wanna join us?"

The boy looked up, totally confused. "Me?"
"uhm- , yeah you're the only one in this car", Lyza chuckled and took his hand to pull him out. Finn stumbled out, looking around, "You never want me around with your friends-"
"It's fine this time, Jimin offered to let you join. Not me-"

Finn nodded, his smile fading away a little when he walked in with her.
Jimin got up as well, reaching out for a handshake which Finn gave him awkwardly. "Hi, I'm Park Jimin and you must be Finn, right?"

The older boy nodded, "That's me-"
Jimin gave him a big smile and then sat down again, handing him the menu, "Choose a drink, I'm paying today", he said softly and Lyza smiled so bright like she hadn't in a while. Jimin was such a lovely guy.
"O-oh", Finn said and then focused on the menu, still feeling more than out of place.

They never had things like this. Lyza never took him out with her and he never got to meet the people she hung with.

"I want a coffee", he then said when Minho came back with the drinks for Jimin and Lyza. The boy nodded and headed back to the counter.
"So-", Jimin said and tried to open up a conversation. "I gotta find a job-, any ideas what I could do for a living?"

Lyza thought for a while, eyes glued to Jimin's face, "Hmm you're quite handsome so you should do something where people can see you", she argued and Finn nodded, "Agreed. Do you have any talents?"

"I have no idea", Jimin hummed, "I don't think I'm really good at anything-"
"He's good at singing and dancing", Lyza told Finn, "I saw him in drama club in highschool. He slayed it-"
"So how about you become a singer?", Finn suggested but Jimin shook his head, "Nah, really. I don't want to be in the spotlight-"

"Be a waiter", Minho suddenly said after he heard the conversation while he placed a coffee on the table. "You get to meet new people everyday, your handsome face is always present and you hear funny stories all the time."
"Actually-", Jimin said, "Actually I'd love that."

"I can get you a job here", Minho suddenly offered, "If you want to-"
Jimin's eyes lightened up, "Oh what! Really??"

"Sure, you're one of Kook's friends I guess? Since you're hanging out with Lyz-"
Jimin nodded awkwardly, "Not really friends but we used to be."

"Fine by me, he doesn't show up anymore anyways since he's with Taehyung."
Finn looked at all three of them and then leaned back calmly. Lyza glanced at her boyfriend and reached for his hand, taking it softly which made him even smile. He enjoyed this.
"Yeah they probably don't leave the bedroom at all", Jimin joked and Minho laughed amused, "Bet. Kook's been so horny all those years and kept crying over Taehyung even while he was being fucked-"

"Guys", Lyza scrunched her nose, "Please-"

"No I love that", Finn suddenly said, "Tell me more about this Jungkook idiot-"

"He's not an idiot", Minho said, "He's just really fucking much in love with that Taehyung idiot."
"He's not an idiot", Jimin argued, "He's just really fucking obsessed with that Jungkook idiot."
"He's not an id-"

"WE GOT IT", Finn interfered. "Both are idiots-"

"No-", Lyza argued, "They're amazing, can y'all stop insulting them."

"You just say that because you had sex with both of them", Finn rolled his eyes playfully, "You can't pick a side."

"There's no sides because they belong together", Lyza replied with a bittersweet smile and Finn lifted an eyebrow. "Aren't you even mad at them-, they did nothing but play and use you."

"Boys are such idiots", Lyza let out a sigh and inhaled deeply then. "I really don't get why everyone always says girls are exhausting with their jealousy. I can just speak for me but I'm really glad to finally see them smile because there had been times where I saw Jungkook drowning in pain because he couldn't be with Tae and there had been times where I saw Taehyung walking through the streets drowning in alcohol because Jungkook wasn't by his side anymore. You guys should really learn to appreciate other people's happiness."

"Fuck", Minho sighed. "I could fall in love with her for being so smart and caring-"
"No!", Jimin and Finn squeaked out at the same time, "She's not for you-", both of them then said and that's when they shared a look and Lyza only shook her head.

Then her phone started ringing and she immediately picked it up, "Whoever there is, thank you so much for calling right this moment", she laughed into the phone and then leaned back to watch the boys looking all down in confusion.

"Why-", Jungkook's voice was heard from the other end of the call.
"Just an awkward situation", she replied. "Why are you calling?"

"Are you coming over tonight? We kinda want to celebrate Tae's birthday with some people-"
Lyza looked at the boys and then bit her lips, "Sure-"

"You can bring Finn or Skylar or whoever you wanna bring-", Jungkook offered.
"Can I bring Jimin too?", she suddenly asked, eyeing Jimin daringly while the boy only crossed his arms because he had a small clue who was calling Lyza.

"If he wants to come", Jungkook replied, "then sure."
Lyza smiled, "Great. Which time?"

"7pm? We thought about ordering food and get some drinks together-"

"Alright. See ya", Lyza ended the call quickly and then smirked at Jimin. "Are you guys up for a drink?"

"NO", Jimin blurted out, "No fucking way. It's Tae's birthday tomorrow I'm not celebrating a day I'm not even invited to."

"What if Jungkook just called me and told me you're invited?", Lyza lifted an eyebrow.
"He wouldn't-"
"He just did."
"He didn't."
"Wanna call him again and ask yourself?"

"I'm not going there and watch him kissing Tae all night", Jimin rolled his eyes but Lyza was being stubborn. "So what? We'll just have a good time, enjoy free alcohol and I swear-, Taejeon would be hyped to see you."

"Taejeon hates me, everyone does-"

"Dude", Finn sighed. "If you won't go there I'm not going to allow Lyz to go there."
All eyes were on him suddenly. "You can come too, babe", Lyza said but Finn shook his head.

"No, really. I'm not going to get knocked out by that small brat there. He might be your son but he hates my guts. I'm not stepping any foot close to him, he might bite."
"Taejeon doesn't bite", Minho laughed and Jimin agreed. "He really does not."

"It's whatever I don't want to be in touch with Taehyung anyways. But I know Lyza wants to be friends with them so I'd appreciate it if you'd go there with her", Finn said, watching Jimin. "You're a nice guy."

Jimin nodded and glanced at Lyza who was nodding slowly to show Jimin a sign to agree to this.
So Jimin did.

Oh boy, Finn clearly didn't think this through.
