<3 new to town
Sunny days in Forks, Washington were hard to come by, most families would be out and about going on hikes or to the local beaches, but there was one family in particular that did not enjoy the sun.
The Cullen family were known around town as odd, with their gorgeous looks and standoffish presence the children seemed untouchable to the student body, and having two bachelors as guardians made the adults of the town equally as intrigued.
The Cullens knew how the town looked at them and what they would whisper as they passed, after all they've been hearing it for decades, so with everyone's eyes constantly on watch they have to be cautious of making sure their secrets don't get out.
Which is why the odd family stayed at home on sunny days, miles away from any sort of civilization. The glass walls made it so they could enjoy the warmth without the prying eyes of the town, that would no doubt find their sparkling skin unnatural.
The Family did what they would normally do when stuck inside all day. The two leaders, Carlisle and John, would bury themselves in paperwork, being the town doctor and deputy they constantly had themselves buried in work.
Alice would argue that the obscene amount of work they brought home was just to fill the void of not finding mates, but they would just brush her off stating how their jobs were just very important.
On the other side of the living room the children were spread out around the couches, Edward and Rosalie both had their copies of 'The Shinning' open whilst quietly discussing their thoughts.
Jasper and Emmett were in a heated game of Mortal Combat, the larger of the two getting more frustrated by the minute, whilst Jasper stayed calm and collected barely moving his controller.
Alice was the only one not in the room, she liked to use sunny days as an opportunity to tend to her ever growing plant collection.
The small vampire gracefully fluttered around the kitchen watering each of her plants, when she reached her most recent find a vision flashed into sight causing her to gasp and reach out to the counter for stability.
Her sudden reach caused her plant to knock to the ground, the shattering of the vase made the rest of the family race to the kitchen. Jasper was the first to reach his wife grabbing hold of her to help stabilize the woman.
"Alice, what is it, what do you see?" Jasper softly asked not wanting to make her more distraught. The young vampire didn't answer which was peculiar as the seer would normally narrate her visions.
"I can't see anything," Edward started making everyone look at him alarmed. "It's like this wall is blocking me from her mind."
Jasper once again tried to get his wife's attention only to fall short when the small vampire kept silent. The family was beginning to worry, Edward was desperately trying to enter her mind and everyone else felt useless in this situation.
Alice's Vision:
Seattle, Washington
The sound of rain filled Alice's ears, the young vampire looked around only to be met with a marina full of boats and various buildings.
She knew she was having a vision, but she had never experienced one like this. The way the rain seemed to hit her skin and the wind ran through her hair made her feel like she was actually there.
The marina was dark, looking around her she could only spot one building with lights peaking through. Walking towards the building the wind seemed to have picked up making each step more difficult.
Finally reaching it Alice could hear fighting, grunts and groans filled the air which seemed to drown out the rain.
Against her better judgment Alice started towards the entrance, the door had been ripped off the hinges and haphazardly thrown aside, inside tables were smashed, tools that had been hanging on the wall were sprawled out with blood coating them.
In the middle of the room three figures seemed to be battling it out, two females, one with black hair and younger features, the other had brown hair and was slightly older, both girls were gorgeous that was obvious and the way they moved seemed so calculated but very human.
The other figure was definitely not human, the creatures skin seemed to be melting off of it, the growling noise coming from it were equally as revolting.
Both girls held onto silver coated daggers, the older of the two also bared a pistol on her right hip. As the fight played out Alice was stunned, the way the girls moved so fluidly with each other made it seem almost rehearsed.
Of course Alice knew what they were, she'd never seen one in person, but Carlisle made sure to educate them on all the dangers to their kind.
The dark haired girl moved closer to the creature, taking the dagger and slicing it at its chest only to have it blocked and smacked out of her hand.
The creature seeing this opportunity quickly grabbed onto the young girl and flung her behind it towards the entrance, the girl slid across the concrete before flipping over and back onto her feet in one swift movement.
"What a bitch," the dark haired girl mumbled. Alice watched as she took off again towards the creature who was now fighting the older girl.
The older female was in a head to head match with it, they had been dancing around each other for a minute before rushing at each other, the older ladies dagger was pressed to its chest whilst its claw like hand was pressed against her throat. Both stayed locked there in a check mate neither wanting to move knowing they'd end each other.
The dark haired girl seeing this grabbed her fallen dagger and quickly ran up behind the creature and jumped on its back causing it to fall into the knife against its chest before expertly slicing his hand off making it fall limp to the floor followed by his body.
The dark haired girl landed on the ground with a huff and just laid there catching her breath. The older girl chuckled before reaching over and helping her up.
"Good job," the brunette said making the other girl roll her eyes.
"I'm so ready to be done with this, I need a vacation," the dark haired girl groaned whilst picking creature goo out of her hair.
"Well we're almost to Forks, our vacation starts then," the older one stated. They both looked at the pile of goo on the floor with disgust, the older of the two then reached for her pistol and let off two shots into the being making it sizzle and screech before falling flat.
"Alright vacation time."
End of vision
Alice gasped coming out of her vision, the world was spinning making her fall even more into her husband. Jasper was quick to tighten his hold on her bringing them down to the floor to help her stabilize.
"Darlin', what is it, what did you see?" Jasper questioned. Alice looked at all of them fear clouding her eyes.
"Hunters."

Forks, Washington
Next Day
Loud music rang through out the jeep, the Daniels sisters both sang along to 'girls, girls, girls' as they reached the Forks sign.
The two were making a big step, they've never settled down anywhere always on the run chasing demons and killing monsters. But after what happened last year they weren't taking any chances, they figured an apple pie life would do them some good for a while.
"Alright, alright," Becca said turning down the music trying to catch her breath. "Where exactly am I going?"
Ronnie in the passenger seat pulled out her map of the town the realtor gave them, "ok so it says to keep heading straight pass the police station and take a right at the school then it's the fifth house on the left."
Once Ronnie put the map down they started coming up to the main part of the town, every store looked original and the people of the town looked friendly enough.
Passing by the police station Ronnie could see a deputy outside heading to his vehicle, he was tall with a slightly muscular build, kept dark blond hair with a scruffy beard to match, he was rugged and Ronnie liked that.
"He's cute," Becca said with a smirk making Ronnie look at her sister with a raised brow.
"What are you talking about?" Ronnie feigned innocence.
"Please, I know that look, I give that look all the time I'm practically an expert on the look," Becca chuckled.
Ronnie rolled her eyes at her sister, "I didn't give a look, I was just looking, there's a difference."
"Sure," Becca replied sarcastically.
"Just focus on where your going and not looks you think you see," Ronnie huffed making Becca laugh again.
Pulling up to their house the girls started to feel excited, the thought of starting over and living a normal life made them happy.
As they exited the jeep and went to grab their bags the sound of tires pulling up next door grabbed their attention. Looking over they see an older gentleman and a young girl exiting a police car.
"Need some help?" The older man called out. The girls only had a few items in the back, they didn't have many things to begin with as it would only drag them down.
"Yeah, sure that'd be great," Ronnie replied. She figured being neighborly would do them some good, getting to know some people that weren't crazy hunters or monsters didn't seem that bad.
Becca went unnoticed as she quickly concealed all their equipment under the floorboard in the trunk, she figured her new cop neighbor wouldn't be too pleased with them having a bunch of illegal artillery and demon equipment in their vehicle.
Once the man reached them he was quick to grab a few bags from them, he seemed charming like how the girls expected all the men in this small town would be.
The younger girl looked to be carrying her own bags, she seemed shy and timid clutching tightly at her potted cactus.
"So, what brings you girls to Forks?" The man asked creating small talk. Ronnie hated small talk, she hated the small questions people ask even though they really don't care, or they do care because they just want to be nosy, and that's even worse.
"Well, our parents recently passed, and they left us this house so we figured why not put it to good use," Becca replied. They had it all rehearsed, the people of this town didn't need to know their life's story so what's a couple white lies gonna hurt.
"Well my condolences," the man awkwardly stated as they entered the house.
The house was older, much older than they had expected. The paint was slightly peeling, the floors were dusty, and the rooms were bare of furniture except basic kitchen wear and some curtains, but it was a house and for that they were grateful.
The man set their bags on the floor and looked around with his hands on his hips taking in the place. He looked almost concerned for them, the state of the house didn't seem to be livable but they've endured worse.
"Well it's nothing a little bit of paint and some sweeping won't fix," Becca announced. She's always been an optimist, everything is always glass half full with her and Ronnie loved that.
"I might have some air mattress you girls could have, I won't be needing them and it'll be better than the floor," the man offered.
They won't be able to head to the furniture store till tomorrow given how late it's getting, but they just met the man and they wouldn't feel right taking something from him.
"Oh no, it's fine, we have some things, we'll be good," Ronnie stated with a wave of her hand.
The man looked at them with uncertainty, not fully believing them but figured he shouldn't push.
"Alright well my name is Charlie Swan I'm chief of police, and that's my daughter Bella," he said pointing towards himself and the girl who was standing at the entrance, she gave a slight awkward wave making them smile at her.
"I'm Becca Daniel's and this is my sister Ronnie," Becca introduced. It was weird giving a cop their real names but, this guy wasn't trying to bust them or anything so what harm could it do.
"Well we're right next door so you're more than welcome to come over anytime our doors always open, and I -now we- have dinner at the diner every Thursday if you girls want to join," Charlie stated rubbing the back of his neck. You could tell the man wasn't used to many social interactions but he was trying and the girls appreciated it.
"We might just take you up on that Thursday offer, diner food is our favorite," Becca smiled at the man.
Bella let out a small sigh of relief that didn't go unnoticed by Ronnie, she was sure it was nothing though.
With a brief goodbye the father daughter duo left to go home leaving the Daniel's alone in their empty house. Once they were certain the duo was gone they were quick to grab their black duffle bag containing everything they'd need to protect their new house.
Ronnie started by putting salt all along the window seals, whilst Becca began drawing demon traps at the entrances of the home. They weren't being hunted by anything but the thought of staying stationed for too long made them worry.
After they had finished a couple more things they headed to the living room area and set out their make shift pallets.
Just as they were about to finish a knock was heard. Ronnie was quick to grab the gun in her waist band while Becca grabbed her dagger from her bag, the girls moved cautiously towards the door. Ronnie peeked through the peep hole only to be met with an awkward doe eyed Bella waiting on the other side. With a sigh of relief Ronnie placed her gun back and opened the door.
"Oh, um hey," Bella stuttered. "My dad wanted me to bring these by, we know you said you were good but we just wanted to make sure."
Bella held out two bags and a pump making the girls smile slightly. They each grabbed one of the bags letting Bella's arms drop to her side.
"Alright well have a goodnight," Bella bit her lip and turned to go back to her house.
"Bella!" Becca called out making the girl turn back with wide eyes. "Thank you."
"Oh yeah for sure," Bella stuttered with a small smile. The sisters watched as the girl rushed back home, they didn't even know them and they were letting them borrow stuff already.
This will be good for them, maybe.
