Nya POV:

In the morning, all of us minus Kai were eating breakfast. It was strange, but understandable if you really thought about it. With Kai being (unwillingly) engaged to a man who wants to conquer Ninjago after being brought to life is understandable. Sighing....I quickly placed the dishes in the sink and started to head towards the couch. Kai was avoiding us. It wasn't really a surprise..especially when he has something on his mind while he was alive.

"Well...Let's get started." Cole Said.

"Without Kai?" Jay Said.

"Unfortunately." Cole Said.

"Give him some slack Cole. Kai has a lot on his plate." I Said.

"I know Nya, but... We need his help to save Ninjago before Maou started over with Kai by his side." Cole stated.

"I know he needs to help us Cole. But...He is being chased by a madman who wants him to marry him without his consent." I said.

"Not to mention...That he's worried that he's placing us in danger." Lloyd said.

"Sigh....When he "died", I thought that Kai would have some sense of peace, but that's clearly not the case." Jay said.

"Ugh...It's going to take a while for Kai to help us. Not like I can blame him since Maou  is after him." Cole said.

"I'm going to check on Kai." I Said as I sat up and went to his room. Before I knocked on the door, Kai opened the door and bumped into me.

"Are you okay Nya?" Kai Said as he raised his normal hand to help me up. As he did...I managed to see his normal brown eye and his new red eye. I hated to know what happened once Maou did to him when he "woke" up. 

"Yeah. I wanted to see how you were doing." I Said.

"I'm doing fine Nya." Kai Said while smiling. I knew that he was hurting because of it since he had a nasty habit of smiling to me whenever something is wrong.

"Don't lie to me Kai. I know you're hurting...just let us help you." I Said. 

"Sigh...I can never hide things from you Nya." Kai Said.

"We wouldn't be siblings if I couldn't tell when you're lying to me Kai." I Said making him giggle a little bit before he frowned.

"To be honest...I'm not fine. Every time I think about 'Maou...I keep thinking that I could be responsible for your deaths. He will do anything to capture me and force me to marry him. Plus he has a huge army and multiple followers. I don't want you guys to be hurt..and I guess..." Kai Said before I noticed tears coming from his eyes.

"Kai...look at me. I know you're worried about us, but we can take care of ourselves. Besides you know us...and we would never let anything happen to you." I Said before hugging Kai. As we hugged...I knew that the others were spying on us. But I'll pretend that they're not there...since my brother needs this. 

Unaware that things will slowly go downhill when we kept going towards the amulet.
