Kai POV:

It's been three days since I made contact with my brothers. I know that my brothers would try to find me which puts them all in danger. Ugh...It would be so much simpler if Maou wasn't trying to marry me. I always thought that marriage would be between two people who truly love each other. However it's clear that he's only trying to marry me in order to gain a strong Queen for his new era of darkness. 

Sighing...I head towards the forest in order to clear my head of everything. Everything that happened after my initial death. The death that was disturbed by Maou who cursed me with immortality along with a ghastly look that shows that I died. My hair is no longer brown...instead it changed to white with some red highlights. My left arm doesn't have any muscles or skin only bone which shows how inferior some of us are to the Maou. It doesn't help that my right eye changed color to red which flashes blue when I activate my powers. 

Why? Why do I have to suffer from this cruel fate? A fate that is worse than death...Where I have to watch my friends and family pass on without being able to be with them. I look down at my hands and slowly felt some tears come to my eyes. Tears that I quickly wipe away. I can't show any weakness in these hard times especially when I'm running away from my self proclaimed fiancé. 

I was enjoying the peace and quiet when I heard some twigs snap. Sighing...I quickly turn around to see them.

"What do you guys want?" I Asked. The guys looked at each other for a couple of minutes before poking back at me. After a few seconds...Cole spoke to me.

Kai? Is that you?" Cole asked.

"Yes..It's me. Now I want to know Why you guys tracked me down?" I said.

"We want you to come back to the Bounty with us so we can get the amulet that will destroy Maou." Jay Said. I quickly look at him like he was crazy. There was no way that I will risk their lives just for an amulet that is highly protected.

"Let me stop you right there. You want me..A person is being chased by a mad man who would stop at nothing to make me his bride, to come on the Bounty to get an amulet which is protected in a temple full of dangerous traps and guardians. Anything seem wrong with that picture? Because I can see that you guys are putting yourselves at risk in order to stop the same mad man who is currently trying to destroy Ninjago." I Said.

"I know that you're worried Kai, but we can take care of ourselves." Nya Said. I just shook my head and slowly backed up a bit. I'm not going to the Bounty. He'll capture me and probably kill all of my friends. 

"Look..You guys know that I care for all of you very much. However I don't want you guys to be put in extreme danger." I Said.

"So...The answers..No?" Lloyd stated. I nodded which made the others sigh much to my confusion. I slowly turned around, but I felt something hit my head which made me see black.

2 hours later:

"W..Where am I?" I asked.

"Hello Kai. Nice to see you're awake." Cole stated.

"What did you guys do?" I Asked. 

"We knocked you out before you escaped and carried you to the Bounty." Nya Said casually.

I blinked a couple of times like I didn't understand what she said. When I realized that they brought me here against my will...I felt great anger come up.
