Zayn's POV

I could hear the sound of my alarm clock sounding loudly.

I lazily slam my hand on the snooze button and curl up under the sheets

"Zayn, Zayn ,Zayn Zayn Wake up you have to go to school"my mum yelled .

"Don't make me get the bucket"she yelled

I could feel the cold water Making contact with my skin.

I shot up on my bed I had water all over me I guess I made her get the bucket.

"What time is it" I asked

"6:40 you're not going to have time to do you're hair"my mum said as she walked out.

"Crap "mumbled and rushed into the shower.

After taking a shower I dried myself and put my boxers on and started to do my hair .

~20 minutes later

After styling my hair to perfection I went to my wardrobe and picked out some gray jeans a white t-shirt and my gray converses.

I ran back to the bathroom and brushed my teeth.

I grabbed my phone keys and wallet of my dresser and ran out .

I texted Ariel .

From Zayn to Ariel

Good morning babe
Can't wait to see you at school.xx

I decided to turn the radio on.

"Yesterday a family was devastated to find there 17 year old daughter Jenna Crawford dead in her bathroom ...reports say she had committed suicide she left a note on the bathroom sink where she had stabbed herself causing her own death.

Wait Jenna killed herself ..I turned the radio up to hear more clearly.

"The Teen claimed that she hated her life and decided to kill herself though a friend Chloe hamreck claims she had just spoke to her on the phone and they were making plans for the next day. police say that there is no more to the case only that killed herself."

I pulled in the school parking lot .

I walked out and saw Ariel she looked fantastic .

"Hey Ariel did you hear about Jenna's death"? I asked

"She died when" she asked looking confused .

"Yesterday she committed suicide"i replied

"Wow that was dumb of her i thought she loved her life" Ariel said with a frown .

"Yeah I did too"i said

"Oh and Ariel I want to take you out on a date today and wear something casual no high heels something you can run in ". I informed her

"Oh ok well I can't wait" she said.

Ariel's POV

The school day was full of people talking about Jenna's death and how they couldn't believe she killed herself .... the whole time I was trying not to laugh and smirk about the fact that I knew how she died.

Chloe wasn't even worrying about her best friends death all she said was that it was dumb to suicide and that it was stupid of Jenna to do that but I wanted to know why so I started to mind read .

"God Jenna so dumb now that's she's out of my way Zayn's all mine."

"I kinda miss her she was a good friend"

My blood boiled because she thought Zayn was hers when clearly he was mine ... mine only he is my mate.

The day was coming to an end Zayn had texted me he would pick me up at my house.

Zayn's POV

I had texted Ariel that I was going to pick her up .

After the last bell rang I quickly headed to my car because I had to buy things.

I headed to the grocery store and bought some can cokes and bread ,mayonnaise, ham ,and other sandwich ingredients .

I quickly headed home .

Once I was at home I got the small cooler and filled with some ice and can cokes also all of the sandwich ingredients that needed to be refrigerated .

If your wondering I am going to take Ariel to a picnic to the park .

I Also had bought some chips and cookies.

I packed a blanket and some silverware and plates .

After double checking that I had everything I drove off to Ariel's house.

Once I pulled into her driveway I got down and rang her doorbell.

"COMING" she yelled before opening the door.

She wore a teal shirt and some dark blue jean and some converses .

"Let's go "she said and we left

"So where are we going"she asked

"It's a surprise but I bet we are going to have a great time "I replied

"Oh ok ,fine it shall be a surprise"she said as she is turning on the radio .

"Like neon lighhhhtttttsssss " the radio played

"Omg I love this song"ariel she said as she started to move to the beat in her seat.

"Be still my heart because it freaking out. Freaking out "she sang

"Babe your voice sounds beautiful"i said

She looked at me she was blushing .

"Thanks babe"she said and pecked my cheek.

"We are here Darlin "I said

"The park"? she asked

"We are having a picnic "I said and a smile grew on her face.

"Yay .... I love picnics"she cheered.

I quickly got out and opened her door.

"Thank you ... such a gentleman"she said .

I went to the back of the car and opened the trunk.

"Babe you take the chips and cookies and I'll take the food basket and blanket"i said as she nodded

"Get the table by the swings"she said as we walked toward it .

I put everything on the table and started to set it up .

"Umm babe I forgot the silverware an plates could you go get them here are the keys"i said

"Ok I'm going to the bathroom anyways"ariel said and walked off.

"Zayn ......." I heard Ariel's voice say from the woods.

I was puzzled how was Ariel in the woods when she clearly went the other direction .

"Zayn .......help ... I'm stuck ...." I heard Ariel's pleading voice say in almost a whisper .

I stood up from putting the food out and hesitantly started to walk toward the woods.

"Zayn please....... help me"i heard Ariel say loud and clearly I quickly started to run in if Ariel was in trouble I needed to help her.

My heart pounded ... a million questions raced through my head..... how did she get here in the woods ..... was she in trouble .. what if someone tried to kidnap her and she needed me?

"Zayn come here"... I heard her say now louder and less worried.

"Ariel I'm coming where are you "I said

No response ....... I was worried now .

Then I saw her she stood there still and not facing me her Red hair moved with the wind .

"Ariel"? I said gasping for breath after my long run .

No response ..... she didn't move it felt like one of those horror movies.

"ARIEL"?i said no louder I slowly started to walk toward her .

"Oh Zayn why didn't you stay with Ariel" she said no longer sounding like herself .

Her red hair started to fade into a blond but I still couldn't see her face .

"Y-you're not Ariel "! I said and slowly started backing up.

She turned around she looked like Ariel but slowly her face started changing......literally her piercing blue eyes changed brown ..... this wasn't Ariel .

"W-who are you"?i said

"Ivy and I'm here to kill you unfortunately Ariel isn't here to protect you".she said with a smirk on her face.

"I don't need her protection I can protect myself" I said trying to sound brave .. even though I was shitting bricks.

" oh but your oh so wrong see I m not human "she said with an evil laugh her eyes turning bright blood red canine teeth coming out her mouth .

I couldn't help but stare in horror.

I tried to run off but I bumped into someone .

"Oh Hun there is no use in running"she laughed.

"Why do you wanna kill me "I said still on the ground.

"Well I don't want to kill you someone else wants you dead he doesn't believe you deserve his daughter." she said in a normal tone.

"Daughter?...... what I'm confused I'm going out with Ariel and her father died."i replied

"Oh and that's what he wanted her to think but in fact he's alive ..... sorta..."she said

"But I know I'll enjoy this "she said and picked me up by my collar.

"What do you mean sorta"i asked

"Well he's like Ariel ...dead "she said

"D-DEAD .... Ariel's DEAD"?! I almost screamed .

Ariel wasn't dead she was alive I've been with her all this time.

"Well isn't it awkward that you found her jacket in the middle of a forest with blood "? she said .

"How did you know that I was alone"i said surprised.

"Oh I was there "she said and let go of my shirt.

I fell on the floor.

"Here "she said and tossed me blood stained glasses and not just any glasses Ariel's glasses.

"How come she doesn't need her prescription glasses anymore or contacts"?

"There's no cure for almost blind people she could hardly see a person in front of her without them"she kept going.

"No ..no no no Ariel's not dead " I almost yelled .

"She's dead but alive she's just like me now .......immortal .......I made her what she is suppose to be her original form .... not no punney worthless human like you... She's now what she was born to be .... a vam-" Ivy stopped in mid-sentence .

"Dam " she muttered .

"You weren't alone were you "she growled.

"I uhhhh " I started to say

"Shut up and don't move "she growled .

Immediately I was paralyzed . she tossed me over to some bushes.i landed hard on my side but I couldn't yelp in pain.

"IVVVVYYYYYY WHERE IS HE" a familiar voice boomed .

Out of nowhere Ariel appeared .... like seriously out of nowhere.

"What are you talkin about m'lady Ariel". Ivy said

"You can't fool me you peasant I know you have him" Ariel yelled

"I'm just waiting for someone to come so I can feed"ivy replied in calm and innocent voice.

"DONT GIVE ME THAT BULL SH*T WHERE IS HE"ariel yelled as she picked up ivy by the neck.

"You know I can snap your neck like a twig don't you "ariel growled

Ivys face went extremely pale she nodded in fear and seemed to supporting herself by holding on to Ariel's hand.

"Please Ariel don't I'm just doing my .... job"ivy choked out.

"Dam I bet you hate your job "Ariel yelled and threw ivy against a tree which broke and ivys body made it's way to more trees which all snapped as her now fragile body made contact with them.. Her body finally hit a huge stone which made her head jerk back and hit hard and she fell on the floor motionless.

"Zayn .... Zayn ..... where are you" Ariel yelled as she furiously stroked her hair back in a worried fashion

I still couldn't move or speak.

"ZAYN "Ariel kept yelling and took a deep breathe her head jerked in my direction.

In less than a second she was beside me.

"Oh my gosh ...Zayn are you ok" she said and looked at me in shock because I still couldn't move .

Ariel POV
I was making my way to the car to get the silverware and plates .

I saw the bathroom and I decided to stop by the restroom .

I opened the door and headed to the toilets and did my business .

Afterward I washed my hands. I looked into the mirror .

"Umm I should do a retouch on my makeup " I said to myself .

I started to reapply eyeliner,mascara and lipstick.

"Per-fect" I said taking one last look at myself.

I made my way to the car and I opened the trunk.

"Ummm oh here they are "I mutter all of a sudden I started to feel panic.

I started to make my way back to the picnic table.

I looked down at my necklace the once blue color was replaced with a bright red.

I started to panic even more .....ivy she told me that she got most of her victims by the picnic table near the swings.

I started to run human speed back.

When I got there Zayn was gone.

"Zayn ...." I said hoping to hear his voice.

I closed my eyes and listened carefully.

I heard children laughing ..... people talking and a voice .
"No ..no no no Ariel's not dead " Zayn's voice said sounding faint.

I quickly ran toward the woods leaving the plates on the table.

I could hear ivys voice louder and louder.

Sh*t sh*t she was telling him.

~back to the present.

Zayn was on the floor and not moving
But he was alive .

"Ivy what did you do"? I almost yelled .

She limped her way back to where me and Zayn were at

"I glamoured him "she said and in instant he started to move.

"Zayn did ivy hurt you"? I asked

"Umm no "he replied sheeply

"Because if she did I'll rip her spin out and beat her with it"i growled while giving ivy the death glare.

"Ariel I wasn't going to kill him I had to tell him everything your fathe-" ivy was saying.

"My father ...I was going to tell him later after a while .. I didn't want him to know yet" I growled at her.

"I'm sorry but I'm just doing my job your father would skin me if I don't obey and I'm his most faithful messenger " she said as she cried she was on her knees begging for mercy .

"It fine ivy I know you have to do what he says ". I said patting her back.

"Thanks for understanding"she replied wiping her face.

"Go tell my father what happened and that I'll tell Zayn what he needs to know "I said she nodded and quickly left.

Hey sexy munchkins
I had to rewrite this chapter because it sorta erased on my sisters phone and it made me mad but I hope y'all enjoyed.

We added more things to make it intense.
