Third Person Pov------------------------

Days had gone by since the night at the club and it all seemed to be going down hill.

"so your saying there was another male murdered?" asked the detective as he glanced at his assisstant.

"Detective Miller we have no apparent leads to the killer, but eye witnesses reported to have seen the suspect was a red headed female about the age of 18-20 and around 5'6 feet tall." The blonde haired police officer informed.

"There is one girl who i know has that sort of description she has been here for a suspect of murder. But if it is her." the detective said as he intwined his fingers together as he rested his chin on his hands.

"Do you mean, her, the girl from the last case?" she asked glancing at the detective.

"Yes, i thought we had ridded of her but that means shes returned."he sighed standing up and slamming down a folder on the desk.

"But we have to do a little investigation."

"Ariel you need to stop." growled Alicen as she crossed her arms leaning against her friends bedroom door frame.

" Why won't you shut the fuck up."she growled slamming the dark haired girl back against the wall.

"NO, you are causing to much attention."she shouted back at her friend who seemed inragged.

"Shut up you know nothing." she gripped the collar of her friends shirt slinging the smaller girl across the hallway floor her back colliding with the walll as she knocked down everything in the way.

The red haired girl eyes widen as she took in what she had just done, she had hurt her best friend, no they were closer than that, she had hurt her sister.

"A-Alicen!" she screeched as she ran toward the smaller girl that she had tossed around like a rag doll.

"A-Alicen."she muttered as she was beside the dark haired girl.

"Save it!" Alicen yelled as she shakily began to stand up.

"But I di-." Ariel tried to apologize as she had snapped out of whatever trance she had been in.

"No Ariel I'm not dealing with all this, you hurt me, something I never thought you would do!"she turned her heel on her friend.

Ariel was dumbstruck what had happened earlier, it hadn't been entirely her.

Little did they both know that there was a tangible darkness that was surrounding Ariel, of course it wasn't seeable but you could feel it.

Darkness had been known to be in everyone, it was the impulse to do wrong to others and to be selfish.

Darkness was a known thing in the supernatural world it was known as a sort of curse that made you do wrong and there wasn't a cure the only way to rid of the excessive darkness was to have the will to do better.

Humans were known to have the dark impulses ,hurting everyone amongst each other.

But of course once the darkness had you, escaping from it's claws was difficult almost impossible.

"I'm sorry Alicen, I don't know what came over me." Ariel cried out as she tried approaching her friend once more.

"I-I " Alicen stammered she didn't know whether or not she should forgive her friend.

"Just give me some space."se muttered as she stomped away to her room shutting the door behind her.

Ariel let out a long sigh 'where was this unstable anger coming from?'

Deep inside she had a stirring anger an uncontrollable hatred that made her want to rip people to shreds like if the unstable anger coursed through her veins making her blood boil.

Turning on her heel she ran out of the house and deep into the woods her mind flooded with thoughts as she tried to piece everything together.

She plopped down under a large oak tree she didn't know what to think.

'Is it all my fault?' 'why am I doing this?' 'Is it all because of what happened to Zayn ?' 'Why would I hurt alicen.'

The unanswered questions seemed to irritate her more.

A slight sound seemed to bring the girl out of her trance.

She slowly stood up her eyes glancing around looking for any movement any sign of life.

Her eyes caught a glance of dirty blond hair.

"Ariel." her head snapped as she looked behind her and there stood someone she'd seen before.

"Dylan?"her voice seemed to show that she hadn't been expecting him.

"So what are you doing here all alone?"his voice showed a bit of a casual tone.

"Not a lot what are you doing here." just then she noticed a similarity dirty blond hair and a bright white smile the same characteristics that Zayn had last seen.

"I was taking a stroll, you seem to be quite upset."he shrugged as he leaned on a tree.

"Well my mate just died not long ago what do you expect." she growled.

"You know, he was JUST a HUMAN."his voice was steady and almost seemed to drip of how much venom he impulsed in them.

Ariel's eyes widen as she was taken back by his harsh words.

"What are you trying to say Dylan that he wasn't worthy of being my mate." her voice steadily rising her eyes narrowing.

"You hold so much potential ariel just imagine if we mated together, we would probably be able to overthrow ANYONE."The words seemed to slip from his mouth with such ease.

"Don't be ridiculous, you have a mate why would you want me you power hungry bastard you make me sick."her face turned sour as she spoke back her voice seemed demanding yet disgusted.

"Don't be dumb ariel I could always reject my mate, you never needed that worthless hu-" just as he spoke something in ariel seemed to snap her hand gripped his neck as se lifted him up against the tree.

"Don't you dare, he was more of a man than you'll ever be, you hear me."her voice seemed to radiate anger her eyes changed but unlike usual they turned a glowing red with black slits her face had a slightly tint of red and her longer than average and more abundant fangs came out her breathing was heavy as she tried to hold herself back.

Unlike usual it had almost seemed as she had unlocked a new ability the objects around her seemed to float as she gripped his neck tighter and tighter.

"You're a fool, such power and you want to waste it."he said as he looked at her hiding his astonishment.

"Fool! How dare you!" she growled as she swung her leg at him hitting square on the chest making him fly back a couple of feet.

"Yes a fool, you could be with me-"blinded by anger she swiftly began swinging at him but he being well trained as well he began to either dodge and block her blows.

His body was much more fragile than hers, his power couldn't even begin to compare to hers.

"STAY STILL BASTARD!"she screeched as she managed to hit him square on his stomach he fllew back a couple of feet.

His artificial body wasn't ment to withstand such strong punches or did it aqquire the strength of a real vampire but that didn't seem to faze him.

"Why should I?" he challanged her on her eyes widen as her blood boiled even more.

"Cause i'll rip you limb from limb/"she angerly shouted.

Little did she notice that behind her the trees began to bend outward and leaves rustled as the were being pushed away from her almost instantly he noticed she had just developed another gift.

Telepathcy, was a power only given to a few not many recieved the power due to the magnitude of strength it gave a person.which was alot.

'bloody hell what do I do .' he grumbled to himself careful not to speak loud enough for ariel to hear with her sharp hearing.

Using his simple power he teleported himself in another place so that he was behind her.

"Come back you jerk." she growled as she snapped her head toward him swiftly she struck him once again only to be stopped by his hand.

He swifty kicked her she nearly got hit but managed to dodge it in a nick of time. the tables had turned now he was the one throwing the hits but sadly to his luck not a single kick or fist managed to land a hit on the vampire.

Ariel's body seems to gracefully move as she evaded everysingle attempt of resitance he was managing to pull against her.

He took a deep breath as he fought her his strength or stamina wasn't as much as her which was something uncommon for the title he had as one of the Dark Lords offspring and he knew this very well but he was presistant moving as quick and fast as his abilities allowed him.

"YOu won't win."she growled, ariel had been astounished that him being one of the strongest vampires alike her, he was lacking speed and agility even niall was faster than him almost as if he wasn't a vampire.

Her nibble eye vision could see that his eyes glowed a light purple his hair was becoming a darker tone in the roots and his appearance held very small almost unnoticable changes, something that wasn't normal for a vampire but what could it be.

"what the-" but before she could finish he disappeared but this time he was no where near by a light cloud of violete fume was left where he had once been.

She stood not moving a muscle and listened closley 'teleporter.' was the only explanation she could come up with.

She obviously wasn't well educated on the diffrent species but no doubt in her mind he was in no way a strong 'vampire' which puzzled her, because wasn't he the second strongest out of the three spawn of the dark lords?

Ariel walked aimlessly through the woods her heels seemed to sink into the cold hard ground.

Ariel's POV

'There is no possible way' I thought to myself his fighting skills were almost non-existant and his stamina wasn't Durant.

That of course isn't how he's suppose to be, he's suppose to be like me, radiant of power and authority but that's Not the case. I looked behind me the trees were slightly uprooted and all leaves or anything that would've been on the ground was pushed back like if in my moment of anger my radiating power created a telekinesis energy that swung objects around.

'a new ability?' I thought t myself as I looked around.

I heard a light rustling in the bushes my head snapped to the soft sound my raptor eye vision studying the now motionless trees.

I took a deep breath as the familiar scent filled my nose. "Ivy?" my voice said steadily.

"Ariel , It's a pleasure seeing you again." She seemed to emerge from the shadows as she stepped out from behind a tree.

"What are you doing here? I haven't seen you since we went to that bar about a month ago" I asked as she walked toward me.

"Doing my job as a messenger." She replied a small smile planted on her lips as she extended her hand and a small ivory colored envelope was extended toward me.

"let me guess, from father?" I asked as I took the envelope and popped open the red wax seal.

I didn't hear her respond so I looked up only to find that she had left.

I decided to shrug it off , Ivy had always been a mysterious kind so her just leaving as quick as possible wasn't something new.

Dear Ariel,

I know you've been quite upset since your mates 'death' and I had been meaning to tell you a couple of things you should possibly need to know, on the northeast part of the supernatural world there is an island off the mainland, and no it isn't like the other islands that are flourished with life these lands used to belong to the shifters which are now nearly extinct.

About five centuries ago when there was an abundant amount of shifters they always seemed to cause trouble by starting rebellions and impersonating powerful people, their kind had always been a power hungry kind of breed.

In one rebellion they tried to overpower our rule by trying to turn many species against us the Dark Lords but it was all in vain for they had no clue about how we were truly immortal and how powerful we really were and how useless their attacks were.

It also happened that a major war broke out around that region they were attacking witches, ghouls ,werewolves ,demons, skin walkers, fairies, and wizards this in turn caused many different species to turn against this more barbaric race and more to support us.

Lord twilight was the one who went and put down the rebellion and for a half a century the barbaric species was isolated from the remaining species.

Not long they were at it again and as a last resort to their violent ways we decided we terminate the more elder generations as an example to the younger ones and It was I who committed the deed I personally went there and slained them.

Most of the people changed their ways as they noticed they were some of the only few that were sparred at the end only a small few rebels remained but it wasn't much.

After about two centuries of peace Me and Dark Lord Dawn noticed they were at it again but unlike any of their other attempts this one had been well calculated and administrated as well as coordinated.

You see this one had something in stake that the others didn't and that was they used their powers for their fullest advantage.

They kidnapped Celeste Twilight and Dylan Twilight, and replaced them with two powerful shifters.

You see shifters have an ability to mimic anyone's facial feature, forms and almost their powers not to the fullest but enough to pull the stunt.

So once we found out there was no way we could inform Lord Luke Twilight for someone had casted a strong forbidden spell on him and the spell fueled itself on 'Celeste's life force there forth if we spoke the real Celeste would die.

So upon this we called upon a witch and vampire both strong enough to handle the shifters and assigned them to the killing of the shifter imposing as Celeste which they easily completed but soon Lord Luke found out and demand we do something about 'them' therefore we faked their death sadly we had to leave the care of their daughter, Brianna Marie Quintana , to my army general.

But the other shifter also known a Ryan Cain Slander is still alive and still under his false.

Ryan used to be a powerful shifter but due to not resting his shifter abilities he has grown weaker and weaker and due to this exterminating him would be quite simple but the problem is, if we don't have the real Celeste and Dylan back before ridding from this pest Dark Lord Luke Twilight has a possibility of going bezerk and on a killing rampage which would cause in many innocent deaths.

I want you to head to the southwestern part of the main land of the coast of mount. shishiba there is a tower and in the tower is fate also known as Diana who is someone you never got to meet, she'll tell you who she is when you arrive there.

I expect that you will be arriving soon to my specific locations and careful this is a dangerous journey.

My eyes were wide as I read the letter not only were brianna's parents actually alive but what it said explained why Dylan or should I say Ryan had been so different and powerless it explained how why he had been so uncoordinated and unbalanced.

But most of all what puzzled me is how he expressed his desire to over thrown my father and the rest of the dark lords how he spoke anger and desperation seemed to seethe through his honey like words, he wanted to use me as a tool, as an object.

My mind was trying to connect the pieces together from what I knew to what I know now.

Brianna had told me her side and what she knew about her parents execution and them being witch and vampire explained why she was a hybrid.

But what I couldn't wrap my mind in was why had he written about zayns death differently like quoting death in his letters.

He obviously knew something I don't like behind each stroke of ink there is a hidden message and clues.

It was known that the location of Celeste and Dylan were known by them since there was barely anything the weren't aware of in fact they were aware of everything and that gave them an advantage one that I currently didn't have one that I wanted to obtain.

But firstly I need to tell Brianna, about what I know now, about how her parents are actually alive but what if she felt angry with them for leaving her.

I quickly began running toward the house my heels almost barely sank down in the cold ground due to my vampire speed.

In a matter of about 10 second I ran all the way back to the house busting through the doors running face to face with alicen.

"alicen have you seen Brianna?"I asked

She snickered a bit and slightly looked away from me.

"why?"

"because I found out something, something she needs to know."

"like?" she questioned

"her parents aren't dead they are actually alive."I her eyes widen as h=she looked me straight into my eyes.

"WHA- I thought they were excuted for high treason!" her mouth dropped open as she looked at me.

"No and yes look ." I held up the letter and pointed to where it spoke about her parents faking their death.

"But why, didn't they know she'd be hurt and uncared for?!"she cried out as she read.

"read the whole thing its like a sick and twisted plot all of this adds up to something and I'm not sure what it is."I sighed.

"you need to tell her. If we keep this from her she'll probably hate us forever and it isn't like she doesn't have forever to hate us." She explained I nodded as I made my way to Brianna's room busting through the door .

"what the hell." Brianna turned to see who entered the room she was wearing a pink tank top and pink fluffy my little pony pajama pants.

"what the hell ariel, ever heard of knocking why I could've been butt naked and you just busted through here like a madman."

"Brianna I found out what happen to your parents." Her smile falls off her face.

"What do you mean?" she asked her eyes wide and almost swelling with tears.

"I'm saying that I know now what happen and it isn't what you think it is, they.... They're alive ."

"how." Her voice was trembling as she spoke.

"they were never trialed they never killed Celeste twilight they killed a shifter one that they were told to kill by Dark lord Moon and Dawn they were sent to a safe place and they are alive."I explained

"how how do you know?!" she yelled out her voice moments from cracking.

"my father he , he told me today."I answered that's when she lost it tears began to stream down her sooth face she clasped a hand over her mouth as she began to sob, I quickly rushed to her side and pulled her into a tight embrace.

"If they are alive why didn't they take me with them why did I have to become a slave for so many years a century a long century full of beatings why did I have to endure that." She sobbed.

"I don't know." I sighed as I held her close ..

Her breath hitched as she sobbed on my shoulder.

"but I know that you are same here with me Ella,Jay, alicen and Ivy and we won't let them hurt you again." I said as I patted her back.

"promise?"

"Promise."I replied and smiled.

"thanks ariel, for being here for me." She said just then alicen walked in.

"Ariel uh are you going to go back to the supernatural dimension?" alicen asked I simply nodded.

"I'll go alone." I sighed .

"no we are here for you there's no way I'm letting you go alone you are my maker ,my friend and my almost like a sister to me. I'm not letting you go alone." Alicen's voice was firm as she spoke.

"she's right Ariel we are here for each other and we aren't letting you go alone."Brianna pitched in.

"what about jay and ella and the guys?"I asked looking at them.

"we will tell them and if they want to come along and help they can." they said boldly.

"well, then I guess we have an adventure in our hands, now don't we." I smirked

Ok guys I updated hope you liked it I just typed about 1,830 words in iss (in-school suspension) and 1721 at home because im a nice lil shit and care and I wrote many many pages about 5 pages (hopefully) and BTW I've been busy watching anime and doing school work plus I had to plan out my 15th birthday party which was the hardest shit to do and since the party is scheduled to be in oct.11 plz don't expect a update until after that date because yall im dying here and I have midterms next week and ugh y is school so annoying and my parents have me on phone curfew at 9 so back then (like last year) I used to write in night time but now I have to do it in day time so yeah please comment they actually inspireme to write and work my ass off to make the chapter long .-------------------
